One week ago today, George Floyd, a native Houstonian, was tragically died in the custody of a law enforcement officer. As the gut-wrenching video of his death spread, so has the passion and the anger among all of us who wonder, how can something like that happen. Our Constitution guarantees every American the right to protest injustice, and I believe we all have a responsibility. to stand up for what's right and condemn what is plainly wrong. People of all color, backgrounds, and ages are demanding that justice be served in the case of George Floyd. I actually don't hate John Cornyn at all. And right now, what we have is a senator who actually is a real Republican who's doing everything that he can to make it seem like he's a MAGA Republican so that he can get through his primary. But John Cornyn, this is not him. This is somebody that sat on our Supreme Court in the state of Texas. This is somebody who typically works in a very bipartisan way, unlike Ted Cruz. This is somebody who is literally doing everything that he can to hopefully get some of that macabase.

I love me some March Madness, and I have no shame in telling you, even if I haven't watched a game of college basketball for the season, I'm getting into it. I'm going to read up on it. I'm going to... Check who the Cinderella stories are. I'm going to find the storylines and I'm going to be entertained and the college basketball diehards hate it because what do you do know here? We've been watching the whole season. Okay, I'm not affecting your enjoyment. I'm just going to talk about it. This may be the funniest new tradition yet last night during Miami of Ohio's first NCAA tournament game. Against, it was called the first four, against SMU, the Miami Swim and Dive Team, they show up to support their teammates in Speedos to distract the SMU player as he shot free throws. It's not the first time they've done this. They started this in January. They're the sixth man on the court. They're the missing piece to our puzzle what we've been trying to build here. When it's closed games and it's at home and they start getting loud and you can start feeling the pressure. I feel like those other teams can definitely feel that. During January, we were pretty bored as a team, so we thought, hey, the basketball team's doing really well. I kept seeing things on NCRO's people in Speedos going to basketball games. I was seeing myself, we should do that. Let's just go and do Speedos of the second half. We talked to our coach about it. She thought it was a good idea. Can we get a shot of the swim team behind the basket? Here are their speedos. It's hard for us to get embarrassed when the speedos. 20 plus hours a week. We're pretty used to it. It was definitely insane. Basically, naked men on the baseline, but they were in the other team, you know, like, sight. And I helped a lot, actually. I remember when we first stripped down, I saw Travis Steele on the bench over there. He put his head down. He put his face in his hands, and he was laughing. I know I was distracted. So I was distracted. I'd say that the player had to be really distracted as well. well. My friends from back home, they'd like send me things on Instagram. My friends' moms were texting me. Being like, hey, I saw you on TV. You're getting rid of your friends' moms. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yep. Yep. I think it's really been really cool to see how all the Miami community really supports one another. I told them afterwards. I said, hey, appreciate you guys showing up, showing out. We'll return the favor and come to one of your swim meets, but we're not going to be wearing the speedo cell. I think you would be more hilarious and more distracting if you and I did it.

The Miami of Ohio swim team wears speedos and sits right behind the goal. And at the appropriate time, I guess they disrobe down to their speedos. So the other team's player shooting free throws is extremely distracted. Here is the call from last night's game. Jim, they took your swimsuits. Those guys weren't in the pool this morning. You can potentially blame it on the Speedos. Splashes the second. Very nice. My harder intuition money going to the Speedos. Somewhere. in America is some dad going, you know, this is fine, but if you'd focus as much on your grades as you do pranks at a college bat, what are y'all even doing at the game? Why don't you, do y'all ever study? Do y'all ever actually crack a book? You know, at that age, The extent to which the pranks are elaborate. Because you're talking about 18, 19, 20-year-olds with a lot of time on their hands. You're honest with, he looks like a boo. Mr. Michael Barry. I almost forgot, fellow babies. Booter! Well, we have enough stories of terrible judges in Harris County. I did something I never do. I... supporting for Harris County Party chairman, an unpaid but very important position. A challenger to the incumbent, the challenger I'm supporting is Don Hooper, because the Republican Party is not recruit. Number one job they have. Recruit people for positions so that when it comes election time and we drive people to vote, they have someone to vote for. because when there is a seat where a Democrat has filed, because the Democrats fill them all, and a Republican has not filed, you don't have to be the sharpest pencil in the pact to realize we're going to lose that seat. That bench is going to be held by a Democrat. We spent enough time dealing with bad Democrats putting murderers back out on the street. But here we have a good judge. Of course, it's not in Harris County. It's in Jefferson County. Judge Raquel West, she has sentenced an 18-year-old Port Arthur man to 25 years in prison for a violent robbery of a Niederland convenience store. While in jail, he reportedly fought, jumped other inmates. She told him if she were to put him on the probation, there's not a good likelihood of being successful, considering his propensity toward violence. Here is her comment, Judge Jefferson County Judge Raquel West. Well, we could move her to Houston for sure. I cannot imagine the fear that that person had that was working in that store, that he now has just trying to go to work, make a living and go home. And he has three people come in and not just grab a little quick something and run out, but terrorize him for.

Quite some time. Pulling them around, yanking them around, putting guns in his face, all three of you. I also, in addition to the PSI, get jail incident reports. And you apparently like to fight and jump people, which is what's been happening in the jail. So it makes it very difficult for me to go, oh, this is somebody that's going to get out and behave who can follow the rules because you can't even follow the rules in jail. And the pre-sentence report shows that you're a high risk level, which tells me that after they've looked at everything, that you don't have, unfortunately, a good likelihood of being successful if I were to put you on probation. And Mr. Coleman's right. We're tired of it. There's got to be something done. So in cause number 25, DCCR 1759, I'm going to find that you enters your plea of guilty freely and voluntarily. I'm going to find sufficient evidence to find you guilty. And at this time, I'm going to find you guilty of aggravated robbery. I'm going to sentence you to a term of 25 years in the institutional division.

His family, who clearly didn't raise him right, are now very upset because there should not be consequences for this sort of nonsense. Bill Clinton, sexual predator, Harvey Weinstein, sexual predator, and now Cesar Chavez. Now, what's interesting about this is that we have said for years that Cesar Chavez is not a hero. Or he's not a hero to the people who are lauding him as a hero. Cesar Chavez, as a quote-unquote labor leader who happened to be Hispanic, his group engaged in extreme violence against illegals who came into this country from Mexico. Because they knew that those people coming in from Mexico. would hurt the labor pool, labor opportunities for Latinos, Mexican Americans living in this country, legally. But back to the sexual predator case. We have made the point for years that if you want to hold up somebody as a hero of the downtrodden illegal alien, Cesar Chavez was closer to Donald Trump. Then he was what you people. But nobody knows that because they don't bother their eyes. Cesar Chavez, okay. Sexual predators protected for years by the left. Bill Clinton, Harvey Weinstein, Cesar Chavez. All because they espoused the correct political thought. New York Times reports that United Farm Workers knew about Chavez his sexual misconduct for years. Cesar Chavez just got me too, Ramon. but refused to investigate or even address them. Instead, they were discouraged from speaking out in order to preserve Mr. Chavez's public image. How many times have we seen this? How many people on the Epstein list are too big to fail? Clip number 19, this is a woman claiming that Cesar Chavez abused them when they were, oh, 12 and 13? This story centers on allegations made by two women who now said that Cesar Chavez decades ago sexually abused them back in the 1970s when they were 12 and 13 years old. The CBS News has not confirmed the New York Times report. But as part of its investigation, the Times reached out also to Dolores Huerta. She was Chavez's most prominent female ally and helped co-found the United Farm Workers Union. She told the Times that in 19... She herself was raped by Chavez, an account she detailed and opposed online, saying in part, quote, I have never identified myself as a victim, but I now understand that I am a survivor of violence of sexual abuse. I am telling my story because the New York Times has indicated that I was not the only one. There were others. My heart aches for everyone who suffered alone and in silence for years. There are no words strong enough to condemn those deplorable. horrible actions that he did. Horto went on to say that Chavez's actions do not reflect the values of their community or their movement. As for Chavez's family, they told the times the allegations were deeply painful, but that they were not in a position to judge the claims. They also said this, quote, as a family steeped in the values of equity and justice, we honor the voices of those who feel unheard and who report sexual misconduct.

So we, if we're to believe this woman, we're supposed to believe all women. She was sexually abused at 12 years old by Cesar Chavez. People knew about it, but never did anything about it because we needed to protect his image. In other news, Jesse Jackson's funeral was last week. Bill Clinton spoke. Joe Biden as well. You know what movie inspired this song? Urban cowboy, that's right. A woman named Kai Fleming, who's the co-writer of this song, was in New York visiting a relative, and she saw all these people wearing cowboy hats and boots and buckles and boot-cut jeans. Pearl snaps, and it had become the chic of the season. And she wanted to do something to pay tribute to people who were not latter-day converts to this. So she and Dennis Morgan proposed this song to Barbara Mandrell. 1980, Barbara Mandrell's first number one was in 78. And as you know, Barbara Mandrell spent her very early years. I think she was first eight when she appeared playing lap steel in country music bands. And apparently she's one of the best lap steel players in the country for a number of years. So she, Barbara Mandrell records this song. She's got an album coming up in the first part of 81 called Live. And they're going to record a live album of her performing. And they decided that since George Jay Jones is mentioned in the song, we'll have George Jay Jones in the song. So she records over the summer in 80 a version, the first version of the song. They release it as a single. It goes to number one. Intending to record the live version later. And they asked George Jay Jones to do it. And the thought was, well, we need to have a backup. So they asked Ernest Tubb to be the backup. And he agreed if George Jay Jones didn't do it. But the version they released is the version you hear. They went back and listened. They went back and clipped in cloud noise. and recorded him with Billy Cheryl when they could get him sober. This was the worst part of his life. He was living out of a car part of this time, and they recorded him and dubbed it together to make it sound, to make it sound like it was at a concert. And they would, in time, have their live recording, but that's not what most people recognize as the version that you most hear. So this is... The group, the Caesar Chavez group, disassociating themselves from Cesar Chavez. And I don't see. Oh. Oh, yeah. I forgot. I did tell us into that. So there was a response. The song got so big and it was everywhere.

country So that was the response to when country when country wasn't cool. JD Vance is giving a speech this morning talking about gas prices and they won't be high forever that this is just a function of the war. 20%, I think, was the number I saw 18 to 20%. flows through the strait of Hormuz. It's interesting how important that straight ends up being to our lives that we don't appreciate or acknowledge when everything is just cruising along. And then you get a Suez Canal. crisis in 5600 Nassar or the closing of the Strait of Hormuz to American and Israeli shipping now and you start seeing what that does to prices. I've maintained all along. Drill baby drill. Create complete 100% independence from the rest of the region, from the rest of the world, whether that be Venezuela or Iran or Iraq or Saudi or everything else. Stop sending our boys into wars and have a much stronger position. But all of that comes back to doing our own exploration and refining, which the left has worked very hard to prevent us from doing. It's a damn shame. It's a damn shame. It's a damn shame. It's a damn shame. So it's important to understand the distinction here because it tells us a lot about truth in the myths that are created. So Cesar Chavez became the focal point. We have Cesar Chavez school, Cesar Chavez, everything. And the real reason is Cesar Chavez was chosen to be the Hispanic Martin Luther King Jr. We got to show the black people that we respect them, that we like them. We got to calm them down so they won't be a revolution. We'll just, we'll name the worst road in every street, MLK. And we'll name some awards. We'll just MLK everywhere overnight. Well, it's. Is he the only black person of note? It's just easier. MLK. And we'll have every white politician say, and puff their chest out as they said, as the Reverend Martin Luther King Jr. said in their speeches, it'll be real cheesy, but hopefully nobody will notice. Okay. As if they were just perusing their notes on MLK and came across that particular quote. Ah, yes, good times.

So Cesar Chavez became the name that was invoked on behalf of illegal aliens. But Cesar Chavez hated the illegal aliens. He abused and allegedly murdered the illegal aliens. I'm going to play a clip from 1974. It's clip number 14. Now, we have not deleted it because there is a fair use exemption. Apparently some white liberal somewhere is going to be very offended by this, so I'm going to tell you right now. There is a word in here that will be offensive, not actually to you, but you'll claim it's offensive for other people. You've been warned. The segment is a minute and 17 seconds long. We have not altered anything. This is Cesar Chavez talking about illegal aliens. Some of the crews that are now strike breaking. Some of those crews are 100% illegal. Outright, openly, with no attempt to disguise it. And so it's so bad now that we estimate 60% to 70% of the farm workers in California, the resident worker, the citizen is out of a job because of the web back. They're coming in by the thousands. That's unbelievable. See, they're coming in with a consent of the Immigration Service, which is part of the Department of Justice, but also they come. We, for instance, know that if you go to Coachella, you go around the El Paso area, the secondary immigration checkpoints have been unmanned now for, or at least three, four weeks, they're closed, they're at night, they're dark, there aren't any patrol in there. So it's a gimmick. We think that it's a prelude at the beginning to a big drive on the part of the administration in the Mexican government to bring the Xavier Becerra program again. It's a vicious attack on the local worker. And it's just one of those things that every business thinks they can get away with it. And our job is from the whole country what's happening together with a boycott and solve it that way. So to be clear. The position of the United Farm Workers was we do not want what he called Wetbacks, his word, coming in and taking farm worker jobs. That's also the word that was used by the Eisenhower administration for the policy of removing illegal aliens from Arizona, which was where the illegal alien issue first became such a big deal. In New Mexico and Arizona, the illegals, the farm workers, would come up from Mexico. And these guys were actually, a lot of them were cowboys, ranch hands. And they would come into the town. They had nowhere to stay. And they would smoke marijuana. That was their drug of choice. And they would sit with their back to the wall in the town square. And that was the modern day Lowe's or Home Depot. and ranch owners would send their ranch manager down to the town square, and they'd pick them and have them come out and bring them out to work, and then they'd be done with them. And so it was a temporary, very fluid labor situation. But the townspeople didn't like them sitting around the square and napping all day and smoking marijuana because marijuana has an awful smell to the non-user.

So marijuana smokers have been making people want to make marijuana illegal for a long time because they can't just go inside and not have to smoke up everywhere. They're their own worst enemy and always have been. That was when you had the huge craze and you had a young, I think it was 27, director of the new DEA, Drug Enforcement Agency, who wanted to be the next J. Edgar Hoover. And so he makes this film Reef for Madness and if you smoke marijuana, it'll kill you. But first it'll make you kill everyone else and you'll become a zombie and ah, it's horrible. And there are still people, older people who are operating under the scare tactic of that era. They probably still think it was a good idea to take the COVID shot because they were scared into that too, but that's for another day. So now after after, but nobody cared about the truth about Cesar Chavez. Nobody cared that his position was actually really no different than your average working class American today, white, black, or Hispanic. If you bring in this cheap labor that doesn't have to comply with the labor standards, they're going to work for less. The businesses can cut labor costs and they're not going to pay taxes on it. And we're going to be left without a job. And that's still happening to this day. A lot less than it used to. And that was Cesar Chavez's position. His position was not to increase. It was not brown pride, as people have you believe. That's all a lie. But it wasn't until it came out, allegedly, because we don't know, that he abused this young woman. and she comes out and says it, and apparently there was a lot of abuse of a lot of women. And so here we are 33 years after he's died. In 2014, they created a federal holiday under Obama because this was all the way, we got to tell the Spanish we like them, right? Hispanic, we like you. And so that's how all of this started. So here's the United Farm Workers now saying, oh, no, no, no, ABC 7 out of L.A. Clip number 13. Late activist, Caesar Chavez, facing abuse allegations accused of abuse of young women and girls. The allegations are now conflicting within the United Farm Workers Association that he co-founded. UFW says it does not have any firsthand knowledge of any of the allegations. News of the allegations comes just two weeks before states across the country observe Caesar Chavez Day. The organization announced it will not be taking part in activities this year. Multiple schools, of course, and streets named after the civic leader who died back in 1993. The United Farm Workers released a statement saying the UFW has learned of deeply troubling allegations that one of the union's co-founders, Caesar Chavez, behaved in ways that are incompatible with our organization's values. The Caesar Chavez Foundation issued a statement that says in part, we are deeply shocked and saddened by what we are hearing. The foundation is working with leaders in the farm worker movement to be reassured. responsive to these allegations, support the people who may have been harmed by his actions, and ensure that we are united and guided by our commitment to justice and community empowerment.
