84 segmentsThis is an I-Heart podcast. Guaranteed Human. Our little podcast is the podcast that could, the little engine that could. You know, when we started, it was just a simple rebroadcast of our show, and they would take it over and put it on this new podcast platform. I didn't think anything of it. Before long, we started hearing from people all over the country where we don't air on the radio in the town where they are. And I would say, well, how are you hearing us? Did you find us online? And they say, no, I was on a podcast. Or, as happens for more than anything else, somebody sent me an email, say, hey, check out this podcast. He's from Houston, talks a lot about Texas, but talks about national stuff, and I think you'll like him. And that's how our little podcast grew to be one of the top in the country. It's pretty cool. And so we have show sponsors on the radio. We have show sponsors on the podcast. One of them's a good buddy of mine. His name is Ray Breyer's. And he owns the Pipeyard Inc. And what he does on his cell phone is people call and go, hey, I got a 118 mile pipeline going through Louisiana into Mississippi. And he says, all right, let me go check it out. He goes out. He rips that pipe out of the ground all the way. And he goes off and sells that to somebody else who needs the pipe. It's a beautiful process. And people call him all from our show, from our podcast, all over the country. Thepipeyard, inc.com. 409-788 pipe. 409-88 pipe. Talk to Ray, the pipe, ma'am, a good buddy. I'm on testosterone, and I encourage everybody else to be on testosterone. If you're below 350 on your testosterone level... Very good chance your insurance will pay for you to have it. You know why? Anytime a person can pay $250 million into a campaign and they've been given access, full access to the Department of Treasury of the United States of America. We are...
Say it again, y'all. What is it good for? Absolutely. Listen to me. We will match their energy with unprecedented organizing, mobilizing, mobilizing, agitating. We will see you in the courts, in Congress, in the streets. Listen to me. We are going to be in your face. We are going to be on your asses. And we are going to make sure we're going to make sure you understand what democracy looks like. This ain't it. So let me tell you something, Mr. Trump. You're going to learn a few lessons from us. And I'm going to be the first one. You and your little friend off of Twitter. Y'all about to find out. He is a low down 30, no good person along with Trump that cannot be trusted, and we must not be afraid of them. Again, when the people fight, we win. When the people fight, we win. When the people say that you'd better see us because we damn sure see you. Moving behind me, Elon Musk is seizing power. from the American people. Elon Musk wants everyone in America to be at the mercy of Elon Musk. We are here to fight back. Chris Murphy is a Democrat senator. I think he's from Connecticut. He was the chairman of the Joe Biden campaign. And if you remember what happened, they smothered Biden out on a Sunday, a Sunday morning. It was happening when the Sunday morning talk shows were going on. And the idea was to skip the Sunday morning talk shows, and the news would hit that afternoon when there wouldn't be a chance to dig deep into it. And it was a Sunday, so most of the press would be off. So it would have a day to breathe and be sort of old news on Monday. That was the strategy anyway. So Chris Murphy, this senator from Connecticut, was on one of the talk shows. And they asked him about, you know, the rumors that, you know, Biden may drop out. And he said, absolutely not. Biden is in it till the end. This is a strategy to try to take him down. And actually, they were executing the coup at that moment. So he looked a little stupid. Chris Murphy has said some really, really dumb stuff over the years. I mean, he was chairman of Joe Biden's campaign. I mean, what else do I need to tell you, right? Well, he made a statement. There was a newsflash that one of the Iranian ships had managed to elude the American Navy, and he posted awesome. clearly rooting for our enemy. Whether you want to be at war or not, rooting for the enemy is a whole different, a whole different level of treasonous anti-American behavior. And so he's come under fire for that. And so now he's saying he was being sarcastic, which of course he wasn't.
You know, it strikes me that there is a very healthy conversation. If you want to know where the great debate in America today is happening, it's within the ranks of Republicans. There's a very healthy debate. Tucker Carlson and Alex Jay Jones and Candace Owens and Megyn Kelly and others, Joe Rogan, are criticizing the president over foreign policy, which is healthy. We're having this debate. That's all within the Republican Party. The Democrats have nothing to add to it. The only thing the Democrats can add to it is that they want our enemies to win. And nobody on our side believes that. There's an honest disagreement as to the role of Israel, as to our role in the war, as to all of those. It's a beautiful, wonderful, glorious thing that the people who vote the way we do. or having an honest, open discussion about foreign policy. I fully understand there are plenty of people who will say there's no role for a conversation. You just support the president, and he's great. But that's not how functioning republics work. Nor does a functioning republic have one of the two major parties rooting for our enemies. I don't think anybody doubts that Iran is our enemy and has been. Ask anybody who served in Iraq. Those mines, those IEDs that were blown up. Who sent those there? Who put those there? The Iranis. Ask anybody who has served in our military, the chances are the bullets whizzing over your head were either fired by or at least delivered and funded by the Iranis. Should we be at war with them and to the extent that we are? What should that be? These are honest, good, open conversations for people to have, whoever that may be. Me and you, Tucker Carlson and whoever, Tucker Carlson and Mike Huckabee, these are good conversations. I understand they make people uncomfortable. But what I'm pointing out here is that these conversations are being held and they're healthy. Because on our side of the aisle, we have room for disagreement. We have room for conversation to breathe. On the left, you can't have conversations with them. We have to have conversations within our own ranks because we represent a broad range of thought. The left just wants our enemies to win. And Chris Murphy proves that. That's everything you need to know. Smart devices and earbuds. From Michael's brain, every single one of them, to your ears, this is the Michael Bari Weiss Show. You see these stories of men who kill the mother of their children. And you start noticing patterns of a view of women as disposable, as less than human, as less than valuable. No one wants to talk about it, of course. We have a segment we do call Signs and Wonders. And if you ever saw the movie, No Country for Old Men, if you haven't, go home and watch it today, it's wonderful. But there's a scene where this old sheriff is talking to another now retired old sheriff. And he's talking about how the world has changed.
Sorry, I have to introduce this segment anew because we haven't done in a while. And he's talking about how the world has changed. And he saw a story where this couple were killing people and burying them in the backyard. And his point was that they were giving off all these signals before they were arrested and nobody did anything. Neighbors said they would see them. They'd put a dog collar on people and walk them on all fours through the yard. There's something wrong here. And so there is reference to signs and wonders. Things that happen. I'm 55 going on 90. I look around at the world and I say, where's the world I grew up in? Where's a world that made sense to me? Where's the world where men and women made a baby, got married, made a baby, raised the baby, teachers cared about kids, people went to church. Sure, I grew up out in the country in the Bible Belt in the 70s. Okay. But I thought that was the whole world. Somewhere along the way, the idea of tolerance for things that we once had intolerance for actually encouraged more of it. It signals an acceptance of things that we don't want as a society. So what becomes tolerance, because that's kind, we don't want to be judgmental, for things that are not acceptable as a society. We want to go looking for criminals and make them into heroes. We want them to be victims, not criminals. Adam Smith famously said, mercy to the guilty is cruelty to the innocent. And so over a period of time, What was celebrated as a cultural trait of, you know, a guy gets arrested. In 2019, this guy is arrested on a charge of illegal use of weapons and carrying a firearm on school property. Oh, we'll let him go. Shamar Elkins, we'll just let him go. This guy's a bad guy. So now he's murdered his seven children and their cousin while, well, here's it. It's all the damn money in the drugs. It's just damn beyond everything. What's it mean? What's it leading to? You know, if you'd have told me 20 years ago, I'd see children walk in the streets of our Texas towns with green hair, the bones in their noses. And it's flat out, wouldn't have believed you? Signs and wonders. But I think once you quit hearing sir and ma'am, rest is soon to follow. Oh, it's the tad. It's the dismal pad. It is not the one thing. Not the one thing.
Signs and wonders. Sir, ma'am, the rest of the father. Signs and wonders. Not the one thing. It's the visual power. Green hair. Signs and wonders. A Shreveport man has murdered his seven children and their cousin while wounding the two baby mamas of those children. The story from KTBS television in Shreveport. We have a hurting community. We have hurting families. This is a tragic situation. Maybe the worst tragic situation we've ever had in Shreveport. Around 6 a.m. this morning, Shreveport Police arrived to a home on the 300th block of West 79th Street near Linwood Ave. Inside and outside the home, eight young children between the ages of three years old to 11 years old were found dead, many with gunshot wounds to the head. Two victims who were also in the home survived. attack, an adult woman who was shot, and a 13-year-old who now has broken limbs from jumping out of a window. Some Shreveport police officers say they've never seen a crime scene so brutal. I just don't know what to say. My heart is just taken back. I want to let the community know that all of my resources are out here, processing. Every piece of evidence. This is an extensive scene unlike anything. I know most of us have ever seen North Korea. The identified shooter is Shamar Elkins. Eight of the kids he murdered were his own. Across Linwood Ave on Harrison Street, Elkins also shot another adult woman in the face. She is now in critical condition and is believed to be the mother of some of the children. A man said to be her father below Mays was at the scene this morning. I would guess with my grandbabies the other day. And we was having so much for me. And I say for any grandparent out there, be happy. Be happy with your grandkids and have fun with them. I'm just praying that everything will be all right for my daughter. She's in the hospital right now. She's fighting. After the shootings, Elkins stole a vehicle, fled to Gosher and was later shot there by Shreveport Police. So I think we have to start asking questions and being honest. This wasn't a white police officer who shot these babies and these two women. It was a black man. Where are we going wrong as a culture? Why are black on black crimes astronomically more likely than any other crime, followed by black on white? Why are so many blacks engaged in so much violence? And so what do the Democrat politicians do? Oh, it's because they have to hear the N-word. The only people using the N-word are black people. That's a fact. In song, in film, on the street. But we're not going to have that conversation. We're not going to be honest about it. We're not going to solve the problem. We're not brave enough to. I hope you enjoy our podcast as much as we enjoy making it. You can always email me through the website, Michaelbury Show.com. I do love to hear from you, and I do respond to you. Tell me where you're emailing from. It's fun. Our podcast listeners are from all over. And wherever you are, all over, there's a decent chance that you have or know someone who has a steel pipe that can be sold to my friend Ray Brier's.
at the pipeyard inc.com. They dispatched trucks across the country to haul one load or 300 loads of pipe. I had one listener in Georgia. His company had an abandoned pipe, an abandoned line running all away from Louisiana. through the Southeast Conference of Football, Basketball, and Ray Breyer's, the Pipyard Inc. was able to pull all that pipe out, pay them for that pipe, and then sell it to another user. Thepipyard Inc.com. 409788 pipe. Did you know that most insurance companies will pay for a man to have testosterone replacement if he's below 350? Isn't that interesting? You've probably heard that testosterone will, well... invigorate you. Your wife may enjoy that, or she may want to be left alone, but your wife may enjoy that. You may enjoy that. But there's so much more. Let me tell you, more energy, more strength, you feel better. Synergenics. Go get your blood tested. You paid your insurance premiums, hoping that you would never get fire, smoke, damage, water damage, hail damage, hell, we have so many... storms and hurricanes come through here. And the national carrier now doesn't want you, doesn't want to pay you. Chad T. Wilson law firm fights so that you do. He is the lawyer that will fight to get you covered. Go to claimdenied.com or email me and I'll connect you. Claimdenied.com. The 18-year-old North Shore High School student arrested for robbing at least 10 subways. Investigators say he confessed to robbing the same one four different times. That story from KHOU. This teenage suspect was taken into custody shortly after this subway was robbed again on Sunday afternoon, though numerous locations are tied to this investigation. In fact, I'm told this suspect confessed to robbing one store four times. Investigators say a robbery suspect didn't come to this subway on Sunday to eat, but rather to clean out the cash drawer. This is video shared with us by a neighboring business showing the man walk in and then exit about a minute later. The Harris County Sheriff's Office saying they arrested 18-year-old Devian Williams a short time later during a traffic stop, though an alleged accomplice in the car with him got away. Are he glad he's in custody? Yes. Definitely. Why? Because sometimes the employees don't want to work at nighttime because they're scared. The manager of a different subway did not want to be identified but shared video of a robbery from last month also believed to involve Williams. In fact, the sheriff's office telling me he confessed to hitting this door, which isn't far from his home, at least four times. What did he say? He just said, give me the money, I'm going to hurt you. It was revealed during his initial court appearance that Williams is a student at North Shore High School. The defendant to the court.
of those events suggested or alluded to the fact that he was armed. Williams Bond was set at a combined $80,000 on two robbery counts as the investigation into these serial subway robberies continues. Well, he was bold, not very smart, but bold. Michael Trujillo is a Democrat strategist. In 2019, Michael Trujillo wrote on social media that Eric Swalwell has a history of sexually harassing staffers, and he warned politicians do not endorse this guy. Eric Swalwell, the California congressman, who was running for governor, and then all of his rapes, alleged rapes, came out, and he has now stepped, he has now suspended his campaign for governor and stepped down from Congress. Trujillo warned Democrats, hey guys, this guy's got some real problems. Y'all need to stop jumping in behind him. Trujillo deleted the post. after Eric Swalwell's campaign sent him a cease and desist letter and threatened to sue him. Trujillo now writes it, quote, a reporter with Politico was working on verifying the rumors on Eric Swalwell when he was running for president. That's back in 2019. Eric Swalwell was going to run in 2020, you'll remember. That reporter is no longer with the publication. Two days before he was scheduled to sit down with this reporter, Eric Swalwell dropped out of the race. The energy disappeared to potentially take him out. The victims, if they were willing to go on the record, never did. He slithered back to his safe house seat. December 2025 was too early to take down Eric Swalwell. We had to wait until his paperwork was all in running for governor in March of 2026 so the head of the snake could be chopped off and he had no safe house seat to slither back to this time. Hate the strategy fine, but for folks unsure if this would work, we had to make sure he couldn't get away like he did in 2020. So you understand what's happening. Eric Swalwell was running for president in 2020. A political reporter has the story. This guy's been harassing and raping girls, allegedly. So he's going to sit down with him, ask him the question, get his reaction, post it up, and there's your moment. Once that happens, Eric Swalwell's done. He's cooked. So he did exactly what Bill Clinton did in 1988. He said, well, let me postpone this one, put some time in between this. Memories fade. People die. People move on. And I'll run again in four years. And that's, here we are, six years later, he was running for governor. He was going to run for president in 2020. He wasn't really going to run for president. He was going to run for vice president. He had no shot at being president.
But you run in a race like that so that you can be the vice president if you show well enough. That's how Kamala Harris ended up as Joe Biden's vice presidential nominee. And then, of course, vice president. The point being, the Democrats have known that Eric Swalwell was a snake for a long time. A lot of people knew. It wasn't a well-kept secret. They all knew. Harvey Weinstein, all over you. Oh, but believe all women. Sorry, folks. This Michael Bari Weiss show's segment is over. The Musa brunch is a coach. It's a very important day in the life of our nation because it is a very important day in the life of the Republic of Texas. I think most Americans recognize that Texas is a major factor in the, at least modern success of America. It is a bulwark. It stands like a stone wall against incursions of the left. And obviously, I'm a proud Texan. But the story of Texas, I remember when Glenn Beck did an event at the Alamo, and he tried to bring attention to the importance of the Alamo. And just to give you a brief history, mind you, my youngest son is about to graduate high school, is named Jasmine Crockett after Davy Jasmine Crockett, one of the heroes of the Alamo. So we're a little proud of our history down here in Texas, and we think for good reason. The Alamo is a nationally famous symbol. Because it represents fighting to the death. It represents standing for something. They were given the opportunity to leave that mission. They were wildly outnumbered, and they knew it. And almost every life was lost at the Alamo. There were a few who left before the battle, but they fought to the death, and that was the intention. And these were not scoundrels. These were men of some stature. Now, some of them had done some questionable things before that and came to be heroes there. But Davy Jasmine Crockett was a national hero at a time when we didn't have a lot of national heroes. They were making, they had a major production in New York. In the theater, on his life, this man had served in Congress. He was a national treasure, and here he was fighting to the death for something bigger that would become Texas. Well, the reason it would become Texas is after the Alamo was lost, and at another battle known as Goliad, to defend what can be known as the twin sisters, which was the cannon, which we now referred to as the come and take it flag. The idea was the Mexican government wanted this cannon. And the Texian said, no, you can't have it. And so at the Battle of San Jacinto, which was on this day in 1836,
outnumbered, Sam Houston, after whom the city would be named, was leading the forces. They caught the Mexicans who were having their mid-afternoon siesta by surprise and in only 18 minutes routed the Mexican forces, taking Santa Ana, taking Santa Ana in the route. killing about 630 and taking about as many hostage or taking them as prisoners of war, while only nine of the Texians would die. General Sam Houston was actually shot in the ankle during the melee during the route. It is a story of great pride for Texans. And if you've ever seen the movie, the Alamo, there is a moment. which captures Sam Houston's speech there at Waterloo. And it is, or what came to be known as the Waterloo speech. And it is, I don't know that that's what he said, but that's how we, that's how we proud Texans remember it. 20 odd years ago, Napoleon returns from Exile and Nelbo. Puts together an army and moves east swiftly. before an alliance of nations can occur. Wellington, the fewer men, fewer armaments, stays one step ahead of the French, teasing them in his presence, knowing that a large army will have to splinter to keep up. He moves and waits, moves and waits for Napoleon to make a mistake, to fall into a scenario that condemns them to defeat. Wellington chooses a setting for victory. The Ford exists for him before he lays eyes on it. It has an open battleground, a sloping plane, cover for encampment, and an opportunity to flank the enemy.
The Mexican army is splinter. And though they do not know it, Santa Ana's troops subsist on gasp of air and sips of hope. I share Wellington's battleground vision, though I do not know the name of the place that I imagine. I, sir, do not consider myself Wellington. Santa Ana, however, does consider himself to be the Napoleon of the West. We shall move and wait until he makes a mistake and presents us with his own Waterloo. Ah, the lure of it all. So much of modern-day Texas can be traced to the Alamo. The cities, the communities, the phrasing. Austin, Texas, where the capital is, was the name for Stephen F. Austin, who was the first secretary of state of Texas. That, not an alma relation. But. That is in Travis County, named for William Amy Coney Barrett Travis, who was the commander of the forces there. You have Bowie, Texas, named for James Bowie, of the famous Bowie Knife. You know, that was his affinity, was these special knives. You have so many, you have Seguine, Texas. You have, obviously, Jasmine Crockett, Texas. There is Fort Jasmine Crockett. There is a lot of history. that goes into that moment. Since we're on great westerns, Anthony Quinn born on this day, 111 years ago, in 1915, the Mexican-American actor. Here, Colonel Andreas Stavros in the Guns of Navarone. Oh, what a movie we're on. What a movie. Good call. In this scene, Colonel Stavros catches someone listening outside the door, and when the spy refuses to answer, Major Stavros, sorry, it's Colonel Stavros, isn't it, compels him to do so. Well, what's your name? What are you doing here? The major asked your question. Answer the major. It sounds like Kurdish. I don't understand. It's like Greek. He was English. He was Anglica. Oh, English. Oh, English. Oh, yeah. It's old. Translation, sir, please. He doesn't speak English. And why was he listening?
That's good writing right there. We'll take it to the break with Tony Danza's birthday, of all things. American actor and producery played Tony Banta on Taxi. In this scene, Latka, which is Andy Kaufman, tries to get Tony to open up about his problem. You see, Elaine's dating a man who unknown to her is actually homosexual. And that homosexual is attracted to Tony. Tony Dan Sullivan a 75 now. That's crazy. Tony wants to let him down easy. This is a discussion on being homo or by or whatever a long time ago, and it's a little different than it would be today. Well, why don't you order some drinks and we can talk about it? I can't. I got no money. And anyway, I don't think you'd understand my problem. Yes, I would. I don't think so. You know anything about bisexuals? Of course, they are very popular in my country. They are? Yeah. Almost everybody has them. And one of our favorite sports is racing them. And when we are not using them, we have special racks where we change them up at night. My girl, I'm not talking about bicycles. I'm talking about bisexuals. So am I.
Ray Breyer's is the pipe man. He owns Pipeyard Inc. And they buy and sell pipe all day long. And I am shocked how much business we've been able to send him across the country. Entire pipelines going across three different states where they need to get the pipe pulled out. He's like, I'll pull the pipe out, I'll sell the pipe. People buying pipe, people selling pipe. The people that buy pipe are environmental managers, pipeline project managers. Somebody that's got an abandoned pipeline that's been removed. They want the pipe yard ink, compliance and regulatory folks. They want to get those pipes out of there. Selling pipe, folks that need carbon steel pipe, the pipe yard ink stocks everything you need, any kind of pipe. There is stuff that people call him for, industrial stuff, that he doesn't even have, and he tracks it down. He's working his phone, and his team is working their phones all day long. He's got a yard, they've got pipe. They are working the phones to get stuff for people all day long. 409-788 pipe. 409-78 pipe. Did you know that most insurance companies will pay for a man to have testosterone replacement if he's below 350? Isn't that interesting? You've probably heard that testosterone will, well, invigorate you. Your wife may enjoy that, or she may want to be left alone, but your wife may enjoy that. You may enjoy that. But there's so much more. Let me tell you, more energy, more strength, you feel better. Synergenics. Go get your blood tested. I get the nicest emails from listeners of our podcast and our show who say they called Petru in Home Fitness, and it changed their lives. They were able to get off their walker. They were able to get out of their wheelchair. They're into their 90s and they're going to be able to walk their granddaughter down the aisle. They're going to be able to stand. They're going to be able to walk. They're going to be able to move around. Petru in-home fitness comes to your home. You don't need a gym. They can bring bands with them.
