Breaking news was raided in Minneapolis yesterday. I saw this story come out just as we gotten off the air with the after show. And I said, whoa. Large scale raids targeting federal fraud. Currently underway, federal agents seem leaving the quality learning center. And Brooke, Taylor has more of that and what they're looking for. Brooke, good morning. Hi, Bill. Good morning. Yeah, we have had a photographer there at the daycare since this morning, capturing video of those federal agents, just going in and out of the building, collecting evidence as part of the DOJ's fraud investigation in Minnesota. Take a look at this video here. Sources tell Fox that federal agents are rating about 22 businesses across Minneapolis this morning. And sources say many of them are tied to Somali-owned operations. Oh, yeah. All of this comes after that viral YouTube video from Nick Shirley's back in December. In that video, he visited different child care centers. And you'll remember, they were either closed or there were just no children inside. Millions, if not billions of dollars in fraud on the line and the investigation eating up. Folks who want to see accountability, obviously. We may just be in the beginning steps. Speaking of accountability, James Comey indicted again this time with DAG. Todd Blanche talking about the grand jury. A couple of pieces of details evolved here. Where? He was indicted where the trial would take place if it moves forward and what may really be happening behind the scenes. We'll get into that coming up in a second. Today, a grand jury sitting in the Eastern District of North Carolina returned an indictment against James Comey on two counts. The first count is at honor about May 15th of last year. He knowingly and willfully making a threat to take the life of and to inflict bodily harm upon. The President of the United States. Count two, same day, May 15, 2025, that the defendant, James Comey, knowingly and willfully transmitting an interstate commerce of communication that contained a threat to kill the President of the United States. Both of these counts carry a maximum term of imprisonment. of 10 years. That's just scratching the surface. There's more from the press conference yesterday. Oh, and James Comey has opened his app, which I don't think probably not a great idea for him. That story in just moments, folks. We'll dig through more on that. Democrats can't be, can't be bothered to protest. I don't think I even saw any protest. Members of Congress, I have the high privilege and distinct honor. Even Ilhan Omar, who calls it, what, World War 11? Presenting to you, His Majesty, Charles III. They're all standing, which I thought, you know, just, yeah, it's part for the course. That's Congress for you. And I actually got an actual king there. And, yeah. Ilhan Omar, though, she did show up. You got to give her that. Meanwhile, people back home are getting rated, like right and left. And you can imagine she's probably concerned about this. The video that started it all. And yesterday, folks, this is the beginning of accountability. Is it going to be all of it? No, but this is the beginning. And it's good news. Those quality leering centers, the Somali fraud centers, all of those places. Yesterday, a number of them in Minneapolis. Got the boots on the door from the FBI. Today we're outside of Quality Learing Center. They spelled the name wrong, so they actually came and corrected. The interesting about this daycare here in Minnesota is it received $1.9 million in the physical year of 2025, and it has... a capacity for upwards of 90 children. And what makes this daycare even more interesting is that while the commissioner of children in Minnesota was saying that the daycare was closed on a live stream, quality learning center closed just over a week ago. A Somalian man was outside talking about how they are open, letting children in. And right now they are funneling children into the daycare as well. And right now. They're not really leering much because they have accepted over $1.9 million. And now the commissioner of children literally said this place was closed. Now, yesterday, I don't know if you heard the big news or not, but we did mention this. I think it's the tail end of the show. Just so you know, fraud. And imagine how much. Fraud accounts for the... You know, millions upon billions, maybe even trillions. We've got all this debt racked up. What about the debt? You know, trillions and trillions and trillions and trillions. How much of that is actually due to the, and it would be my, it would be my assumption. It's probably quite a benefit. Is from the fraud. is from the waste, is from the abuse, quite a bit of it, I would imagine. So anyway, fantastic news. They told us yesterday over 4.3 million people have been removed from food stamps under President Trump. A lot of that fraud, according to Brooke Rollins, who is the Secretary of Ag.

And she made that comment yesterday, mornings with Maria over on Fox News. And we caught a tail into that yesterday. That's another, any one of these stories that have been massive news. Any day, any other day. You've got some new news to break with us this morning. You know, federal data revealing four million fewer Americans are receiving SNAP benefits in the first year of this president's second term. These numbers are coming from your department. Enrollment falling 4.2 million people. And this is after the passage, of course, the big beautiful bill last July. What can you tell us? Well, it is a really big piece of news. And obviously, there's a lot going on in the world, but back here and in the homeland, what are we doing to make sure that the president's promise to return the power to the people to drain the swamp is really happening? Under Joe Biden, the SNAP program, the food stamp program grew by more than 40%. Of course, I believe they were buying votes for the election, putting as many people on as they could. Within the first hour of me being sworn in last February, we sent a letter to every... governor in the country saying partner with us let's make sure that this program is really working for those who need it the most and you know that's it it was this program is also you know the votes quality of the uh kv qualified voter file here in michigan the secretary of state didn't want them taking a look at it they didn't want the dead people removed off the rolls and a lot of this you start to stack it up and you wonder why oh it all has one thing in common So the fight has begun, folks, and it is on. Again, this is a big day. Now, James Comey and the rest of the indictments that are coming down right now, how they tie into each other, and what may be coming next? Because there wasn't just one, there were two yesterday. James Comey and one of the advisors to Anthony Fauci. Dr. Anthony Fauci. Uh-oh. Where'd he go? That's the guy. We haven't heard or seen much from him since he retired. You know, Anderson, I retired. Well, somebody wake him up. He's going to get a wake-up call sooner or later. At least it seems that way. Not only did we see that former FBI director James Comey has been indicted, but also an advisor to Anthony Fauci, has seen his find-out era appear fast and furiously. We'll tell you why in just moments. It's one of the comments that stood out the most to me. from Todd Blanche here, has to be this one. This is the one that essentially says, yeah, you know, it's interesting. We're not going to have any, well, we're not going to have any special treatment for anybody. Over the past year. This department has charged dozens of cases involving threats against all sorts of individuals. We take these seriously every single one of them. For example, just today in the Northern District of Florida, there was a guilty plea from an individual who threatened multiple political leaders, including President Trump. In the Eastern District of North Carolina, where this case was indicted earlier today, there are multiple... threats cases very similar to this one, including one where the defendant pled guilty recently to threatening former President Biden, another one that's scheduled to go to trial this summer, another one indicted, an individual was divided, was indicted for threatening Tom Homan. I say that to say that while this case is unique and this indictment stands out because of the name of the defendant, his alleged conduct Case is unique, and this indictment stands out because of the name of the defendant. His alleged conduct is the same kind of conduct that we will never tolerate and that we will always investigate and regularly prosecute. All right, so what's James Comey saying? We'll get into that coming up here in just a second, but first, no special treatment. Second, this is U.S. Attorney Boyle, the one who will, I believe, will lead that prosecution. This is in...

uh the uh eastern district of north carolina again there there's a reason why this is important last time he was indicted uh or they tried to try i believe that was in dc well you know they couldn't indict hitler in dc thank you mr attorney general Earlier today, a grand jury in the Eastern District of North Carolina returned a true bill in dining Mr. James Comey with committing two felonies. Count one, he knowingly and willfully made a threat to kill and to inflict bodily harm upon the President of the United States in violation of 18 U.S.C. 871A. Count two, he knowingly and willfully transmitted an interstate and foreign commerce, a communication that contained a threat. to kill President Trump in violation of 18 USC 875C. That's the Instagram post, by the way. We'll ask more about this coming up a little bit after 935 with current Eaton County prosecutor and Republican candidate for Attorney General here in Michigan. What all that means coming up here in just a little bit? He'll give us a, I think, a little behind the scenes on the law with that. And then... Here's the other one from yesterday. David Morens, a former senior advisor to Dr. Anthony Fauci, indicted for his alleged role in a coordinated COVID-19 origin cover-up. A cover-up. Court documents accuse him and his co-conspirators of deliberately falsifying official records to suppress the ability to FOIA documents related to the Lab League theory. Remember, this is the stuff we were booted off of YouTube and so many other places for. You weren't allowed to ask. Wait, wait a minute. What about this lab? So you're telling me they discovered this virus in a place that was just feet away, steps away from the Wuhan Institute of Virology. It was so crazy. Even John Stewart couldn't believe it. The Justice Department has charged David Morins, a doctor with conspiracy, claiming he concealed federal records to counter evidence that COVID-19 may have leaked from a lab in China. all to help restore a controversial coronavirus grant. Morin's, a former aide to Dr. Anthony Fauci, testified before the House's COVID Select Subcommittee nearly two years ago about emails he'd sent in February 2021, claiming that he'd learned to make emails disappear after he received Freedom of Information Act requests. Ever delete or attempt to delete a federal record? No, but let me explain why, when I came there in 1998, we were instructed to delete emails and or to move them into PST files frequently because they jam the computer. The Justice Department says... Oh, I know about you. If you're watching this on the behind-of-scenes live stream where you saw the licking of the lips, a little bit of a sign, at least to me, that he had something to hide there. That's just what I'm speaking of. Speaking of folks who might be a little, in fact, they asked about coming up in a little bit, I'll let you hear it. There was a reporter that actually asked about this. And Gretchen Whitmer by name. Remember when she did that television hit and there was that little sticker, that little sign on the table to her right, 8645? What about Gretchen Whitmer? Is she going to be charged? You want to hear the answer coming up. We'll continue the conversation, folks. As I mentioned, just beginning to sort of scratch the surface on all of this and more. Talk about what's coming in our state. On the way after this on West Michigan Live. It's going to be a heck of an after show today. I'll tell you, just flying through all the stories left and right trying to get to the... All the stories that matter most. And we just talked about the food stamp fraud yesterday. That's another big one here in a state of Michigan. They'll be cracking down on. You've seen these arrests and the raids that are happening in Minnesota. Governor Wall's trying to take credit for it right now. That's... That's not a thing. And my question is, you imagine how this happening in Minnesota? They're not far away from us. And a similar... Democrat government there. Despite receiving state child care funding. Now, the location that you're looking at right now, it's the quality learning center. This is the daycare. It went viral. It blew up on social media because of a sign outside with learning that was literally misspelled. The education secretary at the time claimed that the daycare received $1.9 million while, quote, masquerading as a daycare. My question is, if there's that much waste, fraud, and abuse, and it's criminal, right, at this point in Minneapolis and Minnesota. How much is there in other blue states, and particularly in places like... Michigan, that's a concern for a lot of folks paying their taxes and watching this. And this story, again, a lot of people very concerned about what they're seeing play out and particularly how much it costs them each and every year. Is this type of thing happening in a state like Michigan, dare I ask? Justin, it's great to be with you. And you know what? You are not the first person to ask me that as I've been on this campaign trail. And, you know, we actually have examples that are occurring. You know, there was one right over there in West Michigan with you where...

where a woman was getting federal funds brought down, and she created two daycare centers that never had kids go to it. And she was prosecuted by the feds just recently. And so, yeah, I believe it is happening. I can tell you here in Eaton County, our economic crime unit has worked with the state as far as welfare fraud for the last 15 years. We prosecuted that in the tri-counter area for the local counties. And so, yeah, it does happen, and we need to crack down hard. on it. Yeah, so what is the role, obviously, as Attorney General? We've seen this current Attorney General, Dan, and Nassel spent a lot of her time suing, you know, the federal government, the Trump administration, wasting our tax dollars on things like this, when we could be really going after folks who are committing, and in fact, apparently some of these folks are Democrat voters, but they're committing these crimes. What does that look like? And the Attorney General should be doing that. You know, that's one of the responsibilities. If you just saw in the papers in the last couple days, the state, you know, legislature has set money aside for additional welfare. And, you know, that's money that is supposed to go to the citizens who need it. And in those, you know, those articles that you just put out there to your viewers, you know, we're seeing where, you know, people are taking advantage of that system. The Attorney General, should actually be focusing in on that. Let's move the people around so that we can actually have the investigators investigate this welfare fraud. working with DHS. Of course, that means that we're going to need a strong Republican governor to come in and actually redo that DHS department and then allow us to actually be able to go in and prosecute those individuals who are committing the fraud. Because why is taxpayers are we paying for someone else to drive around a Tesla or a Porsche? Yeah, that's a fantastic question. Doug Lloyd, who is running for the Michigan Attorney General. He's a Republican here and the Eaton County prosecutor. I've got to ask this big breaking news. We're starting to see indictments. Maybe you can walk us through. I know it's a federal level. Things are a little different. But one of the questions that's come up about what we're watching play out, particularly with James Comey, there's a Michigan connection we'll talk about here in a second. But first, Catherine Harage posted yesterday that she said, while the James Comey indictment is thin, it creates leverage and may be a holding charge. The timing, she says. James Comey indictment drops his former CIA director Brennan investigation in Florida enters final chapter. Brennan, a driving force behind the Russian collusion narrative, recently complained to MS now about alleged government weaponization now that he's a target. Part of this, he said, is to harass to try to hurt individuals' reputational and professionally financially. She says there may be more to this story. And what else we're watching here is one of the things that may have hurt James Comey, they say, was the fact that he deleted.

his Instagram post, and maybe that showed that he knew what he did was wrong. And I'm wondering, yeah, I'm sure he got a few phone calls and messages and things like that during that process. But can you make sense of what we're watching play out here? I mean, when we're talking about the indictment aspect, obviously that's a federal thing that we don't use at the state level. But what it allows them to do is actually bring charges and then look for further charges. It's a little bit different than what happens at the state. At the state, we're really focused on those facts and evidence. And it's our responsibility to really hold our carts close to our chest until we're able to make sure that we're able to prove the facts and evidence, put the charges. together, put it in front of the court and actually have them sign the documents. Then we go into the court system. With the indictment, that allows them to get them under the radar. And then it allows the federal government to actually look for more. And so that happens at a different rate than it does at the state. And that's why at the state, you should always see your local prosecutors or the attorney general really holding their mouth closed until they put those documents in front of the court. Interesting side piece here. Let me bring you the next connection here. This is Governor Gretchen Whitmer with the 8645 sign in the back while she was doing a hit on MSNBC, I think, at the time a couple of years back. The question was yesterday, and I thought it was kind of fascinating. It was actually raised as they had this news conference with Todd Blanche. The question was raised about what about other people? Who else's maybe threaten the president? The Daily Wire. Should we expect more indictments of this sort? For example, in 2020, Gretchen Whitmer did a TV hit with 8645 on her desk in the background. Is that the kind of thing you would pursue? And then just really quickly, should James Comey expect to face more charges for his role in the Russia collusion investigations? I'm not going to comment on other investigations involving Mr. James Comey. He was indicted in the East District of Virginia. That was dismissed on procedural. grounds because of the judges finding regarding the U.S. attorney. So that's cases under appeal. As far as other investigations that are happening, it would not be appropriate or fair for me to comment on that time. But interesting that he brought up, or she brought up Gretchen Whitmer in this case. Could there be others that are charged down the road, whether it's Gretchen Whitmer or anyone else and under this serious nature of this crime? And that's what I think you have to look at is that, you know, they are looking at, you know, at the wording of terrorism. I can tell you that I just got a call from a constituent this week about legislation that is being, that has dropped in the state house in regards to expanding the words of terrorism. And this particular constituent was worried, you know, was the language something that was going to be too much? But in reality, the legislature is saying, hey,

All we're saying is that we're adding common sense words that a reasonable person should have known that having something out there could have been considered a terrorist threat. Now, in reality, having that 8645 like that, we know what it means, even if people want to play dumb about it. But the next question becomes, if you're really thinking about, you know, the terrorist aspect, is, is there something there that would be? lead a reasonable person to believe that an action is going to occur. So was it free speech or was it a terrorist threat? Those are the questions that we're going to have to answer. You've been crisscrossing the state putting lots of miles on the car. I guarantee you've had lots of folks, lots of different questions and concerns. What are you hearing mostly? Is it, you know, the talk of some of the fraud issues? Is it the corruption in the state that people want to make sure is cleaned up and that dials into this? some of that fraud, but crime as well as we see, make sure that the folks who are, or as you know, you'll be Michigan's top cop, but that the folks that who are committing these crimes are held accountable, what are you seeing? Well, and that's the interesting thing, Justin, is that, you know, when I'm talking to people, people aren't asking me who I'm going to sue. They're asking me what we're going to do to actually bring about prosecutions of crime. You know, people are worried about drugs. They're worried about fraud. They're worried about all these things that are affecting their families. They're worried about the dollars that are just going out in the government. And they're wondering why, you know, the state level government doesn't want to be transparent. You know, that's something that you were playing earlier, right? Those emails, you know, we do it at the county level. I don't know why it's so difficult to do it at the state level, but those are the common themes that we hear is that, you know, people just want to feel safer. They want accountability. They're not looking for everybody to go to prison for the rest of their lives, but they think that people shouldn't just be let off the hook all the time. They'd like to see people held accountable. And that's why they're looking for us to actually stand up and say, we're going to do that job. Common sense solutions, real, reasonable, rational. They're finally feeling the heat. And my friends, that's why I say patience is a virtue. We've waited. We've waited through the endless hearings, the stonewalling the media spend, but look around right now. The American people, you demanded better. And now Trump and the administration of folks finally delivering this is just the opening act, folks. More shoes going to drop right out of the mouth. You heard that, Kash Patel and so many others. I get the, I understand it. Frustration, yeah, I believe it. When I see it, I get it. Just stay optimistic. Stay engaged. It's one of the things they want to do most is try to keep you from being engaged in the process. Hopeless, helpless, they want you demoralized. I'm telling you, that's not the answer. No matter what the headlines say, God is still on the throne, and we're taking action. America's best days are ahead of us. And, you know, something else that folks are all too often worried about the youth? Well, the kids are okay too. Middle schoolers jumping into action to save the life of a bus driver. It was crashing. She was having a serious medical issue. Leah Taylor, unconscious in Hancock County, Mississippi. That's a Biloxi area. Watch what happened when the kids got involved. Hancock County, Mississippi Wednesday afternoon with a bus full of students when she had an asthma attack and lost consciousness. She kind of sort of like fell over, like flopped over, and everyone started like standing off. Here in the school bus surveillance video, you can see five students jumping into action, working as a team to stop the bus and save the bus driver. I saw that the bus was veering off to the side. Then I grabbed it. It's sixth grader, Darius Clark, who hits the brakes. And the bus started rolling forward. It started, like, gained the speed. So whenever I clicked the brakes and about threw me out the windshield. Thank God today, the driver, the kid's okay because they stepped up and took action. We haven't lost the youth yet, folks.
