94 segmentsThis is Daybreak with Jason Jay Jones on 92-5 Fox News. Good morning. Today is October 31st, 2025 Reformation Day, National Doorbell Day, Magic Day, Apple Day, and as we all know, it's Halloween. Happy Halloween. On this date in 1938, Orson Wells expressed his deep regret and bewilderment on the day after his War of World's program panicked listeners. Some things you need to know on this Friday as we get ready for the weekend, Charles III has stripped Prince Andrew of all royal titles and privileges. He will also surrender the Royal Lodge lease and is moving to a different estate. Now, a total of seven people have been arrested in connection with the Louvre jewel heist a couple of weeks ago. Kid Rock is facing public backlash after using an ablest slur on Fox News. And singer Gloria Estevan says she carries her passport these days because, quote, I know people who are in this country legally and have been taken away. Do you, girl? Do you really? Who? I like to know who. And then last week, a judge revoked the comedian Rosie O'Donnell's daughter, Chelsea's probation, sentencing her to prison on drug charges. Your daybreak first take is up. Let's go ahead and get started in, by the way, just so everyone knows. Last night, I was the announcer for the North Fort Myers final home game, North Fort Myers Red Knights. I've been there announcer all year except for a couple of games I had to miss, one due to illness and one due to an event I had to do. When they said they had to do the game on Thursday because they can't do games on Halloween, I said, really? All right, I'm in. It was a bad game as we got beat by Charlotte pretty badly, and the clock was running. So I did get out pretty early, but I'm working on about two hours asleep, two and a half, solid hours. And we're going to have an excellent time on this Halloween. I'll tell you that right now. This story is... Just crazy. Daniel Waterman, he's 22 years old, was 22 years old. He was an excited father to be. He was in Flagler, Florida, Flagler County, on I-95 with his girlfriend, Leah Mumby, who was pregnant at the time. And then she took her car and purposely crashed it while he was in it. And as she was crashing the car, She said, I don't care what happens. You'll get what you deserve before she intentionally crashed the car. He came out of this crash, and let me just tell you without the injuries. Broken neck, back, collarbone in three places, dislocated hips, broken leg, and broken angle. His grandfather said, quote, he broke everything. It wasn't much broken. But what happens next is crazier. He wakes up from his coma. Enough to say the accident was not an accident. It was a wreck on purpose. He told the whole story and then passed away. His wife was in charge of vehicular homicide. She's being held on a $150,000 bond.
Their child now has been born and is in middle of a custody battle with the parents of the father, the deceased father and her. It's a nasty case. But when I read it, I was just like, that is crazy. I mean, good for him to be able to wake up and be able to tell who his murderer would be, I guess. Something that's making the news all around is a jet blue flight from Ecuador to Fort Lauderdale hit severe turbulence, forcing an emergency landing in Orlando and hospitalizing eight passengers, a terrifying reminder of the risk of aviation. It bounced around, bounced around, bounced around, and then landed, and eight people went to the hospital. I don't know if you saw the flight home for President. Trump, but that flight home was very rocky, very, very rocky. And it may have just been rocky skies. Here's the air traffic controller talking to the flight for the JetBlue flight.
Basically get the eight people to everybody is alive. That's the best news and eight people are in the hospital. That's the bad news. Bringing you home here to Southwest Florida. The iconic. Blue Angels scrapped from the Florida International Air Show due to government shutdown. It was supposed to happen coming up this weekend, November 2nd and 3rd. But due to the federal shutdown, the iconic Blue Angels pull out of the Punta Gordas Florida International Air Show. Show President Farley Sigald is devastated, but pivots to other performers. Refunds available for any disappointed fans and expects at least 20,000 attendees down from 30,000 with the Angels. The air show generates $5 million for Charlotte County's economy. The shutdown costs Florida tourism $100 million monthly. And we are currently in day 31 of the Chuck Schumer shutdown. All the things that they want, by the way, you know, they keep saying these SNAP benefits. That's the thing. Snap expires tomorrow. No one gets any SNAP payments. No one's getting any food stamps. But did you know that the Republicans, clean resolution, has that in it? It reactivates it so that people can get their food stamps. All the things that they're complaining about is in the clean resolution. But they're not going to... Pass it because they're using it as leverage. And I personally call this political suicide for that whole party. If you just imagine, all right, let's put this. I mean, you can try to push it onto the conservatives, but you know it's not conservatives. And I pointed that out as plain as day yesterday. We had eight Republicans. go and vote with Democrats to stop the Canadian tariffs. If we can do it, they can do it. Matter of fact, I think Republicans should get that shirt and wear it in today. If we can do it, they can do it. It is like Halloween for the past 31 days watching this shutdown, showdown, go down, right before our very eyes. You now have the news actually reporting what I already told you here on the station that I have a friend who's an air traffic controller who sent me a picture of his pay stub with the amount zero. Still gets the pay stub, but they're zero. I can't help but have mad pain for the people that are getting no paycheck. For those that are complaining about SNAP benefits, you know I've already said it, and I'll say it again, SNAP benefits should be a temporary fix to your short-term problem. Go, and listen, I know there's people that are disabled and can't do anything, and that might be the exception to the rule. But if we strengthen our stance on any handouts that get given out,
and we're able to regulate it even more, it'll change the budget, it'll change the way it's done, and it'll change America, making people actually get up, get out, and go to work. A free handout is not something you want to brag about, and they're doing it every day on the internet. I'm like, are you really bragging that up? I mean, I just can't even believe it. All right, are you guys ready for the weekend? Are you ready to go out? My wife has been working on my son's costume every day this week, except for the day that she drove and spent the whole day in Orlando. But she got almost done yesterday and completely reversed it and changed the way she was going to do it. And I assume that she's going to be waking up to finish that this morning. Poor girl. So much. An FSW professor has been... Let go. Why has he been let go? Well, he violated gender ideology. It's a story I will talk about coming up next right here on daybreak on 92-5 Fox News. Masks, wigs, make-believe. Nope, not Halloween. That's just a typical day on the far left. 92-5 Fox News. Right. All along.
Welcome back to the Halloween episode of Daybreak here on 92.5 Fox News right all along. Can you name what movie that was from? Can you? I'd like to know. An FSW professor faces discipline for violating gender ideology statute. A professor by the name of Philip Wisely, Dr. Philip Wisely. of Florida Southwestern State College is hit with this disciplinary action for breaching state laws. The Florida Department of Education has removed the said professor from a panel over alleged gender-related classwork. There's no public statement from the professor and the president of the universities as a safe and learning environment and free from ideological basis is important in state law and focus on core education. When he was removed, it was another step in the right direction. We cannot have this in our secondary education. Secondary education has been indoctrinating our students almost worse than the, and almost worse than the primary education. It's become a point that they go to college, and that's where Turning Point USA came in. You had all these colleges pushing stuff like gender ideology, and then all of a sudden, Charlie Kirk comes along and jumps on these campuses and wants to argue with them, and then he starts switching them and getting them to understand. I wouldn't even say debating them, not arguing with them, but debating them and bringing them over to the side of honesty, faith, family, freedom, all the things that you need. When students were asked about what they thought of Dr. Wisely's removal, this is what one student had to say. So at first it wasn't bad. It was pretty normal, pretty, you know, regular what I expected of sociology. But then once we got into the topic of like gender, it became a little like forced. People were like, that's not right. They don't, didn't believe gender is a social construct, you know. And some people were like, yeah, you know, agreeing with them, you know, because everybody has the right to their own opinion. So the students were mixed. This guy didn't think that he should have been. actually out of nowhere that like um this sociology teacher was either like getting sued or like he was like getting removed from his job because of some comments he made about like gender ideology in his sociology class I love that he really didn't know he's getting sued or something I you know I don't know something I don't really know I heard it through rumor but I'll talk to the news and give him a statement
It's like the people after someone passes away, and they never knew the person, but they're in complete tears and distraught about it. You didn't even know the person. Like, what are you doing? Oh, you're trying to get attention. I get it. Florida is not going to ever stand for this. And this professor being removed is a step in the right direction for all of our colleges. And Ron DeSantis ain't messing around, and neither is Anastacio Stottcatomitomi's. Look, I don't know how to say his name. I'm not even going to try. I'm just going to start calling it. What's his nickname? Rob, he has a nickname. Does he not have a nickname? He does. Stasi, right? Stasi is his nickname. Yeah, Stasi. We're going to call him Stasi. It's a lot easier to say than his full Greek name. Wow. Right. Why couldn't, you know what? If I was going to go into politics and I had a hard name to say, I'd have to change it. You know what I'm saying? I'd have to change it to Jay Jones. Ha, maybe that's what I did. By the way, hold on, I'm going to go to that guy one second. Hold on. I'm not ready there yet. So is this going to become more of a deal? Are we going to start seeing it go into more Florida colleges? FGCU, maybe, you know, FAU, is it going to make the rounds where now, and I kind of take this back to when people found out they could become the reporters for different organizations and agencies, right? So now these students are finding out that if they report to the Florida Department of Education, that they will respond and they will investigate and they will find out. And I know right now if you're listening to my voice and you're on your way to school, you're on your way to college, you're on your way to high school, wherever it may be, and you're listening to my voice, you've got a student in your family or whatever it may be, you should let them know about this. Is anything going on that you question? inside your college or high school or middle school or even elementary school. Is there something going on that you don't feel right about? Listen to their complaint and if so, direct them accordingly. It's going to start with you. It's not going to start with Stasi. It's not going to start with anyone other than you who makes the call. You know, it's kind of like what Sheriff Carmen Marino stands by. You say it, you call, right? That's the way it works. I'm sure that this will become a more developing story. And if anybody knows Dr. Philip wisely, I would love for you to call in. But based on his curriculum, I'm going to bet that his friends and himself doesn't listen to 92-5 Fox News. Just based on his curriculum alone, I'm just going to say. I'm just going to say he would know we're going to talk about him. And now everybody's talking about him. And how can you go get a doctorate? And then not just teach it. Like not just teach what you're supposed to teach. Now, some people will say gender ideology is a part of sociology and that he should be allowed to teach it. Not in Florida. Not today. Not today. All morning long, I'm going to be playing some Halloween music as we come back from commercials. Do you still have the one that we just played? Can you play it real quick for me one more time, Rob, if you don't mind? No, that's not the one we just played. Do you remember the... All right, there it is. Now, you know the real song. But what movie did I pull it from? Now, fun thing is, someone actually knows the answer, and I was like, wow, I was shocked. All right, let's grab them. I've got James from Lehigh. Good morning, James. Welcome to Daybreak. How you doing today, James?
I'm doing pretty good. Good morning. Good morning. Now, you think you know it. I think I know it's one of my favorite movies. Tom Cruise and Paul Newman. It's called The Color of Money. It's one of the movies it's in. Absolutely. Absolutely. It's in a lot of movies, man. It is. You know what? That is a great movie, my friend. I mean, it truly is a great, great movie, but not the correct one for this particular. movie. But maybe I'll give it away. Should I give it away? I mean, it is a hard one. Is it not a hard one, Rob? It's a hard one, right? It's a hard one. I think he did a good job. Right, he did. James, thank you so much for calling it. And this is actually Werewolves of London. And it's where it was played in there, James. It was in the Werewolves of London. But let me ask you a question, James. Are you aware that we are going to fall back this weekend? I am aware. What do you think about falling back? How does that make you feel? Well, here, um... I'm kind of on the fence. I really don't want to show up to work in the dark, so I kind of like it. Right. But, you know, it's got its pluses and pros and cons. Pros and cons. Yeah, right. It'll get dark way earlier now, and no one likes when it gets dark early. And you know what I was thinking, James? And tell me if you remember this. Do you remember when Florida decided to vote against this? And we as a state said we didn't want daylight savings times. And we actually passed it. Do you remember that? I remember, I don't remember when it was, but I remember hearing about it. Right. I remember it. They never did it, though. Actually, they did. But they did it wrong. I did some serious deep diving on this to find out why. And I'm going to tell you about it coming up next. But I wanted to get your intake on it, James. Thank you very much for being on the show. It's great having you, buddy. We are getting ready to jump into daylight savings time coming up next and why it's still happening in Florida. I finally figured it out. And how do you feel about it? I want to know, does it change your day? Now, I personally don't like it for one reason, but I love it for another. I love getting that extra hour. That extra hour of sleep feels good for me, for me, especially somebody that's on two hours of sleep. But at the same time, I don't like it getting dark early. I don't like it. It takes the day away. Nobody wants a day to go away, especially in Florida. How does it make you feel? 239, 479-5592. We'll talk daylight saving times coming up next on Daybreak on 92-5. Fox News.
Lighthouse survived Ian. We survived the latest comments from Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. 92-5 Fox News, Southwest Florida strong and right all along. There is. Welcome back to 92-5 Fox News on Halloween. You're listening to Daybreak. No, I'm not going to do that all morning. I promise. Good morning. Welcome back to Daybreak. Dayline saving times. That's actually what daylight saving times makes me feel like. We're going to fall back at 2 a.m. on Sunday, the clock's falling back. Now, Floridians are frustrated because as of 2018, we enacted a law called the Sunshine Protection Act. But what happened? I'll explain to you, but first, I don't want to make them wait any longer. I've got Charlie from Lehigh. I encourage everybody to call in at 239-479-5592. I want to know, how does it make you feel when we do this fallback? And... Do you have any, say, daylight saving times horror stories? Because it is, it makes accidents increase. Listen to what it does to you. And I want you to hear this. Listen to this. This is, you get more car accidents. It's linked to disrupt sleep, increased heart attacks, depression, and so many more. If there's ever a reason to end it, it's right there. Let's get rid of this. I got Charlie from Lehigh. Good morning, Charlie. How's it looking out of Lehigh this morning, Charlie? Looking very brisk this morning, sir. Very brisk. A little brisk this morning. I actually went back inside and grabbed myself a thin jacket just because I was like, it won't be when I get out of here today. But right now, a little breezy. A little breezy. You're right. A little breezy. Time for that windbreaker. No doubt about that. Good morning, gentlemen. First time, long time. Wow, first time caller, long time listener, man. Thank you so much for calling in. I love that, man. I love when we get first time callers. What's up, Charlie? Let me try to break down this thing. Okay, so you've got sunrise at 736 today in Fort Myers. Sun set at 645, right? Right. We're only adjusting the clock by an hour. But when we're in the peak, right, sun doesn't set until 836. Right. So there's really like a two and a half hour window of daylight versus non-daylight. And I don't understand what the hour's about. We should just leave it alone and do away with it. Right. Listen, did you know that Florida has more sunshine than anywhere else? We get more sunshine. That's why it's called the Sunshine State, obviously, 2,800 hours yearly compared to anywhere else in the country. We lead at 2800 hours yearly of perfect, beautiful sunshine. So.
With that being said, we should embrace that. We should allow that to be. Now, why do you think the law that we passed has not gone into effect? You know, the daylight savings was for farmers. initially, right? So for their crops and up times and down times. It started during World War I for energy savings. It was formalized in 1966. Exactly. Right. But the correlation between like we were just speaking of about the daylight and the, it's the two and a half hour window there, it just doesn't make sense to me. I don't know why we just don't go ahead and adopt the law all across the 50 states. Just. do away with it completely. It just doesn't make sense to me. Well, I appreciate you calling in. I'm going to explain it to you, Charlie, in just two seconds, all right? All right. There we go. Now, listen to this. And Charlie, again, thank you for being a first time caller. If you've never called in before, call in today. Let's make it happen on this Halloween morning. Florida passed the Sunshine Protection Action 2018 to observe daylight savings time year round. It was signed by then Governor Rick Scott, but requires federal approval to repeal. Are you ready for this? The Uniform Time Act of 1966. Now, when I read this, I was like, well, that's BS because I lived in Indiana once. And when I lived in Indiana, there's a piece of Indiana that doesn't ever change their time. And I was like, well, how can that piece of Indiana do it? And we can't do it. Indiana was able to not follow DST by using the loophole in the Federal Uniform Time Act of 1966 that allow states to opt out. Historically, most of Indiana did not observe daylight saving times, but the state has since changed its practice. It was the only after states like Arizona and Hawaii opted out that states began to consider adopting a permanent daylight savings time. Now, Florida did pass that law, but we passed to stay permanent daylight savings time. But that requires the federal approval. If we'd agreed to opt out of daylight savings time, it would not require that and we would be well into it. Now, once again, I am not a legislator here in Florida, but I did stay at Holiday Inn Express once, so I feel like I'd know a little bit. And I encourage that if you're one of the legislators listening to Daybreak to call in and explain if I'm wrong on this, but I don't believe I am. And let me tell you why I don't believe I am, because it hasn't happened yet. And we're in the middle of another time of it falling back. And the things that worry me the most is that it will stay, it'll be dark. Like, it'll be dark at 530, 530, 545. You lose everything.
This is what it's all about here in Florida. We love sunshine. We love long days. Now, I do love the cool nights, and it is a cool day today. So get out and enjoy it. How does it affect you? And after I talk to Luke, I will tell you tips to help you survive it if you have like a little hangover from it. I don't know. I don't like springing forward. Falling back, I'm okay with springing forward. I like it when we fall back to spring back forward. Right? But I hate losing that hour. That's why I wish we would just stay there and not mess with my sleep. I've got Luke on the phone from Cape Coral. Luke, good morning. You want to talk about Indiana. Go ahead. Luke, you're on 92-5 Fox News. Jason, I love that you mentioned Indiana. There's a really interesting school between the Indiana and Ohio State border that's on two different time zones in their gym. And the state line goes right through half court of their basketball gym. So on one side of the basketball gym, they have a clock on Indiana time. And on the other side, they have a clock in Ohio time. It's really fascinating. But the school in general follows one time, right? They don't divide the school, right? They follow one time in general, right? Whatever side of the address sign is on, I would assume. I would assume that. Right, right. Because you could do that. But like, well, I was in the other time zone, so I didn't have to go to class today. I would be, I would be using that every day. I were like, well, that was in the wrong time zone. I got confused. I didn't know where I was. I looked at the clock. But I love that. That it goes right through the gym. Right. What part? Where is that at in Indiana? I believe Union City around there. Right. Right on. Did you live in Indiana once? I did. I did. Most of my life I lived in Indiana. Where at? Where at? Small town, we'd say, between Richmond, Indiana and Winchester, Indiana. Small town myself, Angola. You ever heard of it? Never heard of that. Right, right. Little small-ass town. It's where I went after I got out of the military. I went out and my sister lived out there. So I went out there to try to change my scenery and see how I like. All right, man. Well, I appreciate you calling in and telling us a little bit about that story of the Indiana School. That's a cool story to hear. I appreciate it. If you are going to be suffering from a hangover from daylight saving times, don't start with a sleep debt. Ensure that you get your rest earlier to bed and to rise. Use light to your advantage. Carefully plan the day and evening activities. Pay more attention to what you eat and drink this week and be a special with yourself and your kids. Look, it's a stressful time. It truly is a stressful time because of the fact that... And let me just say the person in the world that will complain about this the most will be my wife Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. When she gets up and she has to drive the kids in and then when she brings them home and they're getting ready to go out and understand there's so many things I can talk about during these four minutes when it comes to this because of my mind is racing into like 15 other topics. They come home, they get like an hour and a half outside and then it's dark. And they've got to come in. And we all know we don't want our kids in the home. We want our kids outside. We want our kids experiencing and playing and exploring and seeing things and touching things with their hands instead of just playing a video game or locked into their digital device. So I hope that hopefully somebody like Jonathan Martin is listening or I don't know, Mike Gia Joe Lombardo, maybe Adam Botan, I don't care. One of these people listening that says, you know what?
Jason Jay Jones on daybreakers, right? Let's restart this process and let's opt out of the Federal Uniform Time Act. Let's get out of that. We'll opt out just like Indiana and then everything will be great from here on now. What it's like. Now, I can't believe we didn't get one person. It's like, I love to fall back. I think it's the greatest thing ever. True drunks, if you're a true drunk, now I'm not talking an alcoholic. I'm talking about a true drunk. You love it. Because you go to the bar out on Saturday night, 2 o'clock. They start to call last call. They're like, wait, you get one more hour. Because at 2 a.m., it goes right back to 1 a.m. And so you get an extra hour to party into bars. If you're a true drunk, it's set up just for you. It's what it's for. And that's why they're still asleep. That's why they didn't have a chance to actually call into daybreak and tell me about it. So. You, what is, this is the best time of year because you can get the bait. Oh, here we go. Everybody wants to tell me about otherwise, listen, if you think it's the best time of year, call in and tell me you think it's the best time of year. No one has got the nerve to do that. Don't, I mean, tell me I'm wrong. Prove me wrong. I'm not wrong on this, though. Most people feel the same way I do. You know, as we go through the show today, there will be some things that I want to let you know about as we are on Halloween. And Florida drivers face a frightening Halloween risk. The study ranks us 12th in the deadliest state on Halloween. 5.48 fatalities per 1 million residents just on Halloween alone. Now, this is why I'm having this conversation. Tonight, you will have many, many people out and about. And some of you will travel to a very high populated, high dense area of places that people want. or trick-or-treating, please, if you're doing this, understand there's increased pedestrian traffic, and if you're drinking, get an Uber, do not be the person like the person that killed someone in 2019 in a hit and run, and alcohol was the factor. Stay alert, avoid distractions, and make sure you reduce your speed today as you're out and about during the trick-or-treat hours. And it matters a lot. Halloween's falling on a Friday. There's going to be a lot of bars. There's going to be a lot of house parties. If you drink, don't drive, you will go to jail. There will be checkpoints tonight. Don't be the dumbass who could have paid for an Uber for $30. And now you don't have a license and you're out $5 grand to the DUI attorney. Chuck, Pontagorda, you want to keep daylight savings time. Talk to me, Chuck. What you got? Well, sure, you know, I've been a construction worker my whole life. And I understand what the previous caller had talked about. It was to help the farmers because they needed that daylight in order to do their row crops and stuff. But, you know, as the carpenter, you know, I don't want to be rolling my tools out in the dark. You know, I want to get my day started at 7 o'clock. That's when the typical day starts for a construction worker. And so this is great. I love it. This is wonderful. Now my day gets normal. And, you know, as far as it getting dark earlier in the evening, fine. I'm ready to, I'm done. You know what I mean? By the end of the day, I'm done. If you get dark, I don't care. I appreciate you calling in and stand it up for it, Chuck. I appreciate that I found somebody listed into the show. It was like, you know what? I work with my hands and I like to be.
Up earlier, working earlier, getting my day done, and getting to bed. I dig it, Chuck. Thank you for calling in, buddy. All right, bud. I love him. He's giving it to me. Go ahead, Carol. We got about 60 seconds. Go ahead, Carol. You're on 92. Fox News. What do you think? Either way is fine with me. I do like an earlier sunset just because. But I grew up in Indiana. I lived in Gary, which was one of the carve-outs for Chicago time. And I went to school at Ball State, which was part of the opt-out program. One thing I will say is that TV at night, although it probably doesn't matter anymore. But half the year you had news at 10 and half the year you had news at 11. Wow. Yeah, I don't think they do that anymore. They keep it rolling at the same time. Yeah, I know. But, you know, Saturday Night Live and the Tonight Show and stuff like that was all affected by the opt-out. So, I don't know. I appreciate you calling in. Thank you so much. I don't know the last time I watched Saturday Night Live. I don't know. It's been a long time. All right. I see more calls coming in. If you want to call and talk about it, maybe we'll have a minute right after we get done with the MAGA Minute, which is up next right here on 925. Fox News. On Halloween, it's not scary movies that keep Kamala Harris up at night. It's hearing the ghost of 2024 yelling.
Don't fall out of your coconut tree or whatever. 92-5 Fox News. Right, all along. The MAGA Minute on 92-5 Fox News is presented by Titan Contracting, Southwest Florida's industry leader in both residential and commercial construction. There it is. Right. Great movie. Great movie. Awesome move. Welcome to the Halloween episode here of Daybreak. On 92-5 Fox News. All right. All right. We got to get to it. It's time right now for that Maga Minute. Let's do it. Hey, everybody. It's Karoline Leavitt, Press Secretary for the White House. It's time for the Maga Minute on 925 Fox News. You go on one of these 23-hour international trips with Donald Trump. If you're lucky, he'll sleep two hours. If you're unlucky, he'll be roaming around Air Force One, you know, busing your chops because you've fallen asleep and like, oh, he's low energy. Look, he's already asleep and he's, you know, been on the plane for 18 hours. He wakes up the journalists for midnight giggles. He wakes up the journalist for midnight gaggles. There is just something about him. And I don't know if it's, you know, he's president of United States for four years this term. And he's just. so focused on getting as much as possible done. But he really sleeps less and still has more energy than anybody that I know that's 40 years younger than he is. And that is, I mean, you hear people talk about it. You wonder how true it is. Trust me. I've seen it from the inside. He has unbelievable energy. He does 18-hour days every day. I feel like I do the same thing. I'm about on an 18-hour day each and every day. I love it. If he's doing it, I can do it. It means I can keep doing it. I've been Googling it whether or not I could actually do it. If Trump can do it, I can do it. I'm going to keep on rocking it. Now, before we get done here, I do want to go ahead and Mr. Stereo. I got about a minute and a half, Joe. You want to talk about U.S. Steel and the night shift affected the time change. Go ahead, Joe. You're from Astero on 92-5 Fox News. Hey, so when we worked a night shift, when we sprung ahead, we worked seven hours and got paid for eight. And when we went the opposite way, we got an hour overtime. So it's pretty cool working the night shift for U.S. Steel when you had the union. Something a lot of people in Southwest Florida don't understand working in the steel mills, that's for sure. I actually worked for an oil-tempering steel wire plant once when I was younger, way younger, but I have scars on my body to prove it. I appreciate you calling in.
I know where Angola is at, too, by the way. He used to go to Fort Wayne all the time. Fremont. That's where I worked at La Clead Steel. I appreciate you, buddy, right outside of Angola. I appreciate you. Got to run. Let me grab Jeff before we run to break. Jeff, we got like 30 seconds. Go ahead. You're on 92-5 Fox News. Yeah, everybody keeps saying about how it was the farmers that, excuse me, said that. Daylight saving time was for the farmers. But it wasn't. The farmers don't care about it. They go, they get up before the sun and they go to bed after the sun. So they generally, the farmers only care about the sun when it comes up, when it goes down. They don't care about daylight savings time. Time is just a roll. Are you a farmer? I grew up in Fairmount, Indiana. And Fremont, Indiana? No, fair mouth. We are talking Indiana today. We got a lot of Indiana. Look at all the Hoosiers listening. Let me ask you a question real quick why I got you on the phone, Joe. I'm sorry, Jeff. Who's your daddy? Who's your daddy? Who's your daddy? Who's your daddy? Who's your daddy? He said to me. I like it. That's Trump's Jay Jones. There we go, man. I love it. I love this guy. By the way, that's a big thing for Indiana. Who's your daddy? It's what you always ask an Indiana person. Who's your daddy? He said to me. I like it. Wow, that's Trump's job. We're going to talk Cape Coral Mayor and the accusations against him next on 92-5 Fox News. 92-5 Fox News, right all along.
