I feel like we are on the verge of like a holiday. Now you say, why is that? Well, because Hillary Clinton is supposed to get disposed today. So we're supposed to find out that today Hillary Clinton will be disposed by the House Oversight Committee around 11 a.m. in New York. And what I found out recently is that these are prosecutors that they hire to do this deposition so that when they do it, it's not political but criminal. And that is exactly what is needed, if you will, for a, this is probably, can you, is it, you can you pick it up? Tell me to call myself. Tell them to call myself. They've got the number. So. It's like Christmas waiting for this to happen. And what's going to happen? Now, unfortunately, not televised, but I'm sure there'll be video out of it, and we'll find out of it. And it's close to the press. But they will be transcribed. They will be videotaped. And I'm sure we will absolutely see what the scrow that you'll see on Hillary Clinton's face. But I hope that they play the... Why factor on it? Like, make her upset about the, make her upset that her husband was out looking for something on the side. And I don't think she'll actually care. But man, I hope that is, they try to pull on the heartstrings with her to let her understand, but she won't. They're ready to defend this till the end. And she's the puppet. She probably sent, how much you want to bet? She made Bill go do it. Right? She was like, Bill, get on that plane now. You go to Epstein Island right now, Bill. All right. So sitting here right now, waiting for it to happen is something that I personally am pumped about. I can't help but say, yes, I am ready to see it. And then tomorrow is Bill. So that's the big stories that we're going to have coming up.

Good morning. Congressman Byron Donalds's joins us. Good morning, Congressman. Before we start, everybody, let's just make sure we're sending prayers for our firefighters in Southwest Florida. We have a... a major flash fire going on out there on alligator alley. So, you know, they had to shut down the alley last night. We have men and women out there trying to fight that blaze to get it back. So let's make sure that we're saying a prayer for them. We talked about that earlier today on the show about the responsibility that everyone has as they are a Florida resident inside this very dry time that we are right now. So that even the new residents understand how dry the ground is. Even though we're surrounded by water, it doesn't mean the ground is it as dry as a bone. That's right. That's right. All right. Let's talk. Give me your response. Tell me your thoughts. What did you think were the highlights and the low lights of the state of the union, Congressman? Well, I mean, the... The state of the union was really awesome. The president came in. He talked about the agenda, talked about affordability. But I think even bigger than that, he really made sure that, you know, as a nation, we remember the things that unite us. You know, the United States hockey team coming in was probably the best moment I've ever been a part of in the state of the union. This was my sixth one. And it was just phenomenal. It was a great moment, you know, where it helps, I think, the members forget about the politics and the posturing and all the performance. stuff that goes down on Capitol Hill and just remember why you even sign up to do the job while you run for office. It was great to honor them and really it was a celebration of the country. You know, our World War II veteran, 100 years old, getting awarded by the president at the end. I mean, that stuff is just, it was great. It was great. And I don't care what anybody says. People want to be like, you had stupid people on the press on the news show saying, oh, he treated it like a game show. that I just look at you and I just say you're just so cynical and hopeless. You can't even celebrate this country. I think to the president, he did a phenomenal job laying out his agenda and the things he wanted to do, focusing on homeownership and affordability in our country. And then the biggest thing was the contrast with the Democrats. I mean, if you can't even stand up for protecting Americans over illegals. I mean, the president was pitch perfect. The Democrats looked utterly ridiculous. And I think people need to understand that even though they lost last the 24 election, they still believe the same crazy things. They've not changed. And the president demonstrated that for the entire world to see. Absolutely. They still believe the craziest things you could ever believe. The anti-common sense, they just find common sense. They're like, all right, we've got to go to the exact opposite of that because that makes common sense. So we've got to make no sense. and it's something I firmly agree with you on 100%. And they boycott it. 70 Democrats didn't show up for the State of the Union. What is this little fraction? Is that the socialist fraction that's not showing up? Yeah, I think a lot of that is the Democrat Socialists of America crowd. And to be honest, nobody missed them. Not a person. You know, apparently they had some counter programming outside with Joy Reid.

like anybody cares. The president was epic last night. Even CBS had to release the polling, like 75% of the American people thought it was a great speech, and it was really uplifting for America. And let's be clear, if you get 75% in the poll of Americans, basically you got all of them. You got all of them, right, right. So you said you've seen six of them before, Byron. Tell me, is this your, do you think this is the best of the six that you've seen? Yeah, it's not a question. This was the best. You got to understand four of them were with Joe Biden. So. Please understand. But this was the best by far. And look, like I said, the president did focus in on policy. He even focused it on foreign policy. He talked about the successes at the border, deporting criminal illegal aliens, the work that's already been done in our economy, how more Americans are working today than in the history of our country, that wages are up and inflation is stabilized and coming down in a lot of areas. But in spite of all that, the economic success, that's national security successes. both domestic and internationally. It was about celebrating this country and how we are the exceptional nation. We are the best nation. And to quote the president, the golden age of America is here. And we're just going to keep working hard to deliver that for the American people. We're just tuning in. We're on the phone right now with Congressman Byron Donalds's just having a conversation about different things. And one of the things that I want to kind of cover with you, Congressman, is at FGCU. You're in there doing an event, and James Fishback is outside trying to say he wants to jump on the hood of your car and wants to know if he would be arrested and doing very what I would call radical. actions to try to infiltrate your event. Since that event, there's been an agreed-upon debate that's going to happen in Tampa on the 21st. Will that debate be just between you and him? And what are your thoughts of what he tried to do at the FGCU campus? Well, let's first talk to this debate, quote, unquote. He's lying. Again, it's unfortunate that people have to set the record straight. This is a Fox News Tampa Bay event. He tried to make it seem as if it was Fox News National. That's not true. The second thing is the debate we've agreed to is June 24th, which is the Republican Party of Florida's debate, which is two weeks after qualifying, so we'll see who actually qualifies to run for governor. And so people need to send that. First of all, the week to qualify in the race for governor is June 8th to the 12th. The RPOF debate, which is, as I understand it, I think that's the Fox National debate, is June 24. I've agreed to that debate. We've not agreed to any others, primarily because we don't really know who's a real candidate and who's not. A lot of people are on social media saying they're doing these things, but until they have like a real durable campaign...

which, I mean, look at the polling that came out the other day. A lot of people are way behind, like way behind. They're all behind. Every one of them are behind, Byron. Let's be honest. They're all behind. Wait a minute. But wait a minute, but this is important. They have to demonstrate. They have a viable campaign. You know what I mean? And so until that's demonstrated, we've agreed to the RPOF debate in June. We've not agreed to any others. but we have to see who's real and who's not. So this is like the jumping on the car thing and a lot of other stuff, that's just trying to get attention. And to be blunt, is trying to get attention using me as a reason to get attention. And, like, you've got to do that on your own. You've got to build your own campaign. You've got to go contact your voters, raise your own money. You can't use other people as a prop to get attention. And unfortunately, that's what's happening. And I just choose not to play that game. Right. And I think America sees through that. Definitely us Floridians, definitely see through it what's going on. Let's talk a little about Asphoridians and what's going on with these 10, what Cuba is saying is 10 Cuban nationals on an American boat that Cuba is saying fired upon them. Four of them now. dead, six of them now prisoners of Cuba. As the future governor, what are your thoughts on this? First of all, I know that my colleague over in Miami, Carlos Menez, number one, he wants a full investigation. I agree. I know Marco Rubio is on top of this. I haven't talked to Marco since I saw him yesterday, but we even talked since this incident. And look, at the end of the day, there has to be repercussions. Got to be repercussions. You cannot have another nation taking out Americans, killing Americans. So we'll see what the president and Marco are going to do on this thing. Look, if you know me, I support their judgment with respect to foreign policy, so I don't want to get ahead of the president. But in terms of that regime, that regime needs to go down. Period. We'll stop. Right. They've been operating with communist impunity for a couple generations now right off the coast of Florida, not too far from Key West. It's time for this regime to change. So one last question I have for you. Were you able to catch the USA versus Canada game live or did you have to watch it after the fact? I know you got a very busy schedule. I'm just curious where you went with it. I watched the first two periods and then Erica and I went to church. And so then we went to church and, you know, you're in church. So you're not trying to look at ESPN to get an update. I know. Seriously. So when the sermon was over, when the sermon was over. I pulled it up and I saw that the game had ended. The regular game ended in a tie. They were going to overtime. And I was like, dang it, I got to drive home. So then by the time, you know, we went and had lunch, we had already scored the overtime goal to win. And watching it replay, does it give you, let me ask you a question. Do you get chills when it happened during the State of the Union, when you rewatch the final golden goal out of Hughes? Does it give you chills the way it gives us, you know, regular citizens?

Absolutely. Right. I mean, because it's a part, it's national pride, man. I think, look, there's enough stuff going on in life, not to forget politics. I mean, life can be really challenging and really rewarding. People have ups and downs, joy and sadness, peaks and valleys. And I think when you see something like what happened the other Sunday morning where you watch our Olympic team really just put the flag on their back. and go win and win big and in an exciting fashion too. Our goalie, phenomenal game. I mean, he was, Canada had more shots on goal than we did, I think. And he was resolute in that net. It was great. Really happy for them, happy for the country. I think stuff like this, at the end of the day, it's about having pride in your nation. And I think having pride in America, there's no substitute for that. And I think that joy was felt all across the country. You're giving me chills just saying it just like that. Well, Congressman, thank you very much for joining us on the show. The 92-5 Fox News, in a brief to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 11th Circuit, Florida state attorneys have wrote that we may not get that money back from Alligator Alcatraz. Don't worry, the money's coming is what those state leaders told us that $608 million, right? By the way, $380 million is of your money. Has already been spent on 83 contracts. 92 million of that just reported a lot. Port-a-potties. Let that marinate. We've talked about it. But according to this brief, quote, the promised funds may not materialized. We took a risk, end quote. And feds are saying the money is still, quote, only likely, end quote, and may never come. This is exactly why people are fed up with government. It's a passing of the buck. Are we getting the money or are we not getting the money? Now, understand, is it worth it? Absolutely. Let's keep the drugs. Let's keep the illegals. Let's keep them off. To me personally, I feel like that's an expense we should include in the bottom line. I mean, we should just have that in the bottom line. If I was running Florida as a business, it would be on my budget line for sure. But as you...

sit here and you like wait a second i was i thought we were getting the money i mean i feel like we said it on the show two weeks ago that they said we were getting the money and now in this brief we may not get it but this is what's got us all fired up here $608 million of your tax dollar money where they promised it, right? But it's time to demand that accountability. You know, no more empty promises, make it happen, and give us the real deal. You know, I feel like that's what we really love, and that's why people, you know why people resonate to President Trump? And if you're not a Trump supporter, maybe you'll understand this a little more. You know, I've never been a sugarcoater. Like, if I don't like what's going on, I'll look you in the eyes and I'll tell you exactly that I don't like it and I'll walk away from the situation and that's the way it is. Those that have known me for a long time know that's who I am. And I appreciate the same thing. Like when my wife's mad at me, she knows just to tell me straight up why she's mad. We get past it and it's over. She doesn't do things and try to make me figure it out because I like a straight shooter. I think America likes a straight shooter. And I think that's what we want more now. And we call it transparency for, you know, the technical term, but the straight shooter, that's who we want. We want somebody who's just going to tell us how it is and give us the honest deal. If you'd have told us from Jump, and I'm just curious what you would have thought, conservatives across Florida would have said, if you had told us right from Jump, we're going to spend $500 million on securing the border of Florida and taking all the illegals out of here and building an alligator alcatraz and sending them on their way, what do you think we would have said as voters? I would have voted for it. I'm like, cool. Right on. And they were, if they all came to us and said, hey, what's your opinion of it? I would say, great. To me, my family and their lives matter more to me than money any day of the week. And I'm willing to take a little bit extra on my tax dollar to make it happen. So I don't 100% care whether or not we get the money back, but it's going to become an issue. And I think it's more importantly about, hey, guys, no matter what party you are, why don't you just tell us the real deal? Then we'll be okay. We'll be happy. We'll move on past everything. But if you can't give us that, then you can't give us anything. Now we're on the hook for the money. Maybe, maybe not. I love that vagueness. We may get the money. Now we're doing the corporate push. Maybe. We might get it. You guys want it back? Maybe we might get it. I'm not going to say we're not getting it. But I also can't say we are getting it. That's great. I just love it.

Let's make sure we think of second, third, and fourth order effects and how we do this. I am fully supportive of abolishing property tax on homestead of properties. Putting money in people's pockets. Less taxation is the American dream, right? It's owning your home free and clear the government. My God, what an amazing thing. And of course, that is something Florida is going to lead up. I'm over it. Stop talking about it and be about it. Everyone wants to say they're going to do it because they're on a campaign trail. That's Lieutenant Governor Jay Collins. He's on a campaign trail. Of course, he's going to say we want to give you more money back. But did you know I did some deep research. And this is only number three of the most important things to Florida voters. Housing affordability, the cost of living number one by far, and property insurance number two on the list. It's the two things that we're more worried about than our property taxes. The property insurance, the accessibility, the affordability of that, and the affordability of housing in this town. You know, I'm very excited about the workforce housing that's going to take over inside the old Santa Belle outlets because workforce housing is not Texanate housing. It's not low-income housing. It's housing with a ceiling that's made for our workforce here in southwest Florida. That will help, but that is just a band-aid on a massive wound. Please come up with a solution for the property taxes, but more importantly, let's focus on affordability, housing cost, and property insurance first. Number four. I'm so proud and I'm so happy that the men's and women's USA hockey teams brought gold medals back to the United States for America.

You guys are making me emotional, but I'm so proud to represent the New Jersey Devils organization, and I'm so, so proud to represent the great state in New Jersey. All my teammates, USA teammates, we just want to thank you guys for all the love and the support. We feel it. Thank you. All right, Jack Hughes. Florida. He went out there and threw the first pitch after 9-11. That's a unifying moment. The same thing for when they won gold. You know, you saw actual Democrats actually stand up for those hockey players and understand what they do. And I think they've got the ability to spread the message that being a patriot is not about party. It's about America. And I think they should just tell that line. It could work. People love them. They give me chills. That clip gives me chills every time it gives me chills. And I didn't even talk about how great hockey is in Florida, did I? See? I don't always talk about hockey. Number three. And boy, I got to tell you, once again, I'm telling you, we should see if they want to fight it out on 4th of July as the, you know, the preliminary bouts for the UFC fight at the White House. Let them fight it out. I mean... I love it. I thought that was great, too, by the way. Way to put old Bernie Sanders. You've been here, the best line. Number one. anger she has no right to that level of rage in the united states of america the country who gave her corrupt ass a new life it's not like she's a homeless vietnam vet who can't get services and should be enraged at the government she should be kissing the ground she walks on instead of spitting on it like the look on her face is somebody who would step on your neck instead of giving you a hand and that is not the kind of person we should have in our leadership, it's not the type of person we should have in this country. Amen. Amen. Gutfeld just laying it out right there, letting you know. But what I really wanted to say, and I wanted to bring up Omar, Ilhan Omar, is not only anti-American. She's not American. And she sits in and makes laws for America. She's not an American. And she makes laws for America. And she, on top of that, let me ask you a question, Rob, let me ask your honest opinion before I wrap up this five real quick. I just want to ask your, I want your thoughts on this.

If I personally became a congressman, right, and you know me, you see me, I'm not rolling in money, right? I told you I already don't have a 401K. Yeah. Like I'm just trying, I'm living my life just like everybody else out there, hoping I get a paycheck to pay my mortgage. That's right. Right? If all of a sudden I ran for Congress and you saw me roll up into here in a stretch SUV and carrying a, got a Louis Vuitton belt, and I had all these things. And next thing you know, I got a big old house. And you're like, well, you only make $174,000 a year, Jay, where'd that money come from? I'd absolutely ask that question. Well, Ilhan Omar was dead ass broke when she became a congresswoman, and now she's rich. Yeah, worth millions. And don't even get me started on the winery that she owns that has no address, no website, and has nothing. But it's got a lot of money in it. She owns a winery? Absolutely she does. Is she even allowed to drink because she's Muslim? She owns a winery. She doesn't drink and she slings it. I guess. Ow. That's it. The five at 835. I just drilled my fingers straight up into the microphone stand here in the studio. I do also, and I've been talking about it with the... members of Congress you know I talked about it with Congressman Byron Donalds and I spoke about it also with Senator Rick Scott and I'm talking about the four Cuban exiles that are dead after the speedboat shoot out with the communist regime of Cuba it's time we confront the neighbor that is 90 miles to our south doing their thing down there now as we get to that moment. And we understand Marco Rubio is on his way there. He's going to get the details. He's on top of it. He's going to find out what's going on. Now, Cuba claims that the... that the boat entered their waters. They were confronted by border guards that approached them for identification. The passengers immediately opened fire and fired first and wounded the Cuban commander, who then ordered return of fire, which killed four of these individuals and then shot six of the other ones who were taken to hospital for care. And they're on an American boat, a 24-foot pro-line speed boat with a Florida registration. So there's a lot of layers to this that's going on. But the reason I wanted to once again bring this up as we wrap up this segment of the show is that what is happening in Cuba and these.

citizens. And let me say there's only one of two options. All right. I doubt that they're Cubans, that they're making look that were on an American boat that were attacking Cuba. If the Cubans from Cuba without American citizenship got their hands on a boat, they wouldn't be going towards Cuba. So this is either Cubans that became Americans or American citizens, full-blown American citizens. I will say that this is unacceptable. And what happened when it actually happened? And by the way, you would have to show physical video proof that they attacked you for me to believe you. And I know that you, the communists will say, I don't have to show you proof. But you do. Because otherwise I don't believe you. You should return our Americans and wait for the retaliation because it's coming. It's coming like the wrath of God. You have no idea what's about to happen. And I can feel it coming and I'm ready for it. Let's liberate Cuba. Let's make that happen for them. And we cannot allow this to be in our backyard. I don't know if I would be this 100% fired up about it if I lived in Missouri, right? If I lived in South Dakota. But the fact that I live here, this is in our backyard, you have an enormous amount of... narcotics that come out of there. You have the Russian interference, the Chinese interference, and they're going to take that money because just like Rick Scott said earlier, they're broke because we took out Maduro. They need money. They're not getting oil. They need money. So in order to get that money, what do they do? They accept deals from China and Russia. because they want in there. They want to be as close to us as possible. And 90 miles is too close. How many of us have gone on a cruise and rode right by Cuba? Right. You've gone on that cruise. That's way too close. Way too close. He could be an overnight cruise you're that quick on it. Rob? I mean, I've even seen Cuba from the air, too, flying. I can see Russia from my front porch, just so you know. That's all I can think about. I can see Cuba from the plane. I think about Sarah Palin. I can see Russia from my front porch. Oh, what a great show we've had today. It has been fun. Welcome back. This is 92-5 Fox News. In a vet Benaroach, a friend of the show here, a Southwest Floridian, has sponsored a bill that has basically cleared the house and is ready to go. And this is a bill to revise property insurance. That's right. It is there. to give homeowners greater insight into their insurance policies and rate changes. They have to build like an online portal. And that online portal will publish detailed and rate data to help us Floridians better understand. property insurance market, the coverages, the cost, it will all be there. And the site must also include reports outlining like market trends and tools that basically help homeowners locate insurance. Now, this is a great step that we're doing. But it also bars insurers from counting land value in certain coverage calculations to guard homeowners against inflated premium. So your land value can no longer also be included in evaluation of your property. And so these are your things that has happened now. And, you know what, I just got done telling you that property insurance matters to the... everyday person. So if we can come up with a portal and come up with a way to open up the market and that's the real big issue. We have to open up the market for anybody who wants to sell insurance in Florida. You should be able to buy it across state lines. It shouldn't even matter. And we should just continually leave it to an open market that will bring the price down and make it easier for everybody else out there that may be struggling through this today. Here's my final thought of the day, and I want to give you this, this is my food for thought. So I read an article today, and this food for thought is about Florida cracking down on school protest and that... Kids are receiving different punishments for their actions depending on where they were when it came to the protesting that they did inside their schools. They've been suspended, expalled, even arrested for disruptions. Students walking out of one school got 10-day suspensions, lost their prom and graduation privileges. And teachers that were involved in it are also facing discipline as well. But let me just say, and let me say it bold, loudly and clearly.

I believe these kids should all be punished. Every one of them that left their classroom, their point of instruction, in order to protest. And by everyone, I'm even talking about the ones that had the Trump banners or were out there trying to incite. The argument, because that's the exact opposite of having a great conversation and a protest going right. So when people are questioning how they're being punished, I say not hard enough. I say we have to make sure that these kids understand what accountability is. And just so everyone knows, when you have consequences for your action, that builds character. That makes you who you are. And if you don't teach that at a young age, you'll have dumb adults doing dumb things. And I guarantee if you know a dumb adult right now and you met them, they probably had no consequences as a child for their dumbass actions. There's probably a couple of those dumbasses right now in Congress. Letting you know. The unions were wrong. The teachers were wrong for letting it happen. The administrators were long for not stopping it. The school resource officers were wrong for not immediately stopping it. And you know what? The school board was wrong for letting it happen two days in a row at some districts. Period. Schools for learning. Not for radicalizing our children. By the way, I'm pretty much done with that topic. That was my final thought on that ever. We'll see you tomorrow for the finally flipping Friday on behalf of robbing myself.
