Son of a buck I want to see them. You know, ordinarily, and I've seen a lot of really great northern lights, but they were red. Are you bragging? Are you, like, better than the rest of us? Because you saw the lights. Most people did. Only two people in this community that were sleeping at that time. Nature called, and I got up, and I looked at the sky, and there was butt-kiss over two harbors. Okay. I'm a little mad. Minnesota Golden Gopher basketball team, looking to stay undefeated. They'll visit the Missouri Tigers at Missouri Arena tonight. The gophers are 2-0 after crushing Alcorn State 9550 on Saturday. Number eight, if it's in D2 football, travels to Minot State University Saturday for their final Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference matchup, kickoff set for 1 o'clock. We'll have that with Jeff Papers to play-by-play inside of Herbarker Stadium. It looks like the Bulldogs are poised to head into the playoffs. That would be good. So that's good. They've been one of the top teams in the country. Go dogs. Let's do a deep run this time around. Wisconsin football, hearing up for a marquee matchup against number two, Indiana. Two things are extraordinary about this. Yeah. Is that, first of all, Wisconsin is only three and six a season. More extraordinary is Indiana is the second-ranked team in the country. They came out of nowhere. I think they're undefeated, too. They're just rolling. They have been unbelievable. My Indiana friends are going crazy. You watch two things. kind of turning the screw, so to speak, to the American public. And the others decided, let's make good, let's get this, and hopefully folks can cooperate and get things done what both sides want done down the road. Even when it's settled, they got the end of January, we're going to go through it all over again. Well, hopefully they'll be, have some time. I mean, if you look at... You know, you look at the air traffic controllers have been working without pay. You know, we, the National Guard has been working without pay, you know, so there's been, you know, people that have been seriously affected by this. And so I think it's great. I mean, I was working to get National Guard to have, Proctor has, beyond the yellow ribbon, which is a way for people to give money at Thanksgiving time now and Christmas time. So I just did a thing on my. a Facebook deal to go to that. They want a Venmo money to help the National Guard, you know, they haven't had a paycheck. And so they aren't going to have a paycheck until all these eyes are dotted and T's are crossed. with the government shenanigans. So I think it's a good time for people to remember the people that take care of us every day and give them and thank them. The money will be used to get gift cards for the National Guard during the holiday season. So people can do that if they want to. Great idea. Good deal. Thank you. So Natalie, you've got a couple. Two and a half months now to go before a year back in session on the state legislature. And it's still a split on the House of Representatives. I see the speaker wants to run for governor. There's a whole bunch of people running for governor this time around. You aren't. You weren't, though. Correct. No, I'm not. It's good. I'm running for House Representatives again, yes. Yes. No, yesterday, Representative Kristen Robbins, she's the chair of the Fraud Committee. She was up in Duluth yesterday, meeting with people. Yesterday, the Speaker of the House, Lisa Damas, was up in Duluth. So we have two really great candidates within the Republican House Caucus that are running. And there's several others. So I think the process is going to run itself, and then people get to see, you know, what people have to offer, and we'll get to the finish line with a strong candidate. So I'm excited. Well, we've got plenty of time, and it's good. This is the time to have a mix up next year. You know, certainly, you know, you talked about the fraud committee. What's going on in that in the state legislature? We've, on this show here. For the last two years, we've been highlighting the news stories that keep on appearing. I think we were one of the first up in the Northland that started targeting the $250 million fraud that was going on with Feeding Our Future, and now there's Medicare fraud, Medicaid, fraud, this fraud, and that fraud. Everywhere fraud. How's the committee, you know, obviously the committee's long overdue. It's an oversight committee in the House of Representatives. What's going on there?

Well, I think it just shows the Northland how important it is to get out and vote. Had I won with 160 votes, if I wouldn't have won, then we wouldn't even have a tie of 67-67 to have a split government in the sense of it would have been another trifecta, which would have been disastrous for northern Minnesota and the entire state. I mean, the reality is, is the only reason we got a fraud committee. in the state of Minnesota is because we have a Republican Speaker of the House, and that's only because we have a 67-67 tie. So if we wouldn't have had the tie, we wouldn't have got the fraud committee, and that committee has revealed a tremendous amount of fraud. I mean, what you can see with the iceberg, I mean, it is the true story of you can see this little iceberg up, but you can't see all of it below. the surface. And believe me, everybody is saying the federal government and then the fraud committee, we're nearing $2 billion of fraud for Minnesota, which is inexcusable. Well, Minnesota used to be the state that was Minnesota. Nice. The cleanest state in the union, no problems here, and all of a sudden we've got all this erupting. Well, the tragedy is that, yeah, you've got schools that have cut, our schools had historic funding, and we've got record layoffs, higher class size, millions of dollars for the school districts. We've got ambulance services struggling in Minnesota. We've got public safety. It's just, and we've got vulnerable adults that have had programs. People that really need the services, they're getting all their programs cut. And it's just an absolute disaster right now. Something else, something else. So any other issues here you're looking at? Now you're out of session, so you go around and talk to people. What are you hearing on the street? You know, I think people are really frustrated. They're renewing their car tabs. Their car tabs have went through the roof. They're seeing that every time they buy a new vehicle. It's not only the interest rates on car loans, where it takes you have seven years to pay off a vehicle, practically, that's brand new. The reality is the 23, the Democrat trifecta, increased all the vehicle registration fees and the tab fees. People are just getting nickel and dined everywhere they turn. So I think property taxes are a big concern for people, and the state has transferred a lot of costs back to the counties, the cities and the school districts. And so we need to get some commercial tax bases back in our communities. So mining and all of these business opportunities for the North are really critical that we have strong commercial tax bases because... They pay double the taxes that we do for homeowners for our property taxes. And so if we lose businesses or we don't have new ones coming in, that burden is getting shifted in double-digit increases to the homeowners. So we're going to be working hard to get those taxes down because...

You know, we had $18 billion and they grew the tax base by another $10 billion. So you can't grow government by 40% when people are working two, three jobs and just tax the rich is now everybody working. It's middle class people. It's lower middle class people. It's everyone. Well, when the richer guy, it trickles on to all of us. So that's a problem. We're going to go for a quick break. Neil, before we get back to Natalie, what do you think Wall Street's doing this morning without cheating and looking? Well, today is after Veterans Day, which market was open yesterday, so it'll be up today. It is indeed up today. At the opening bell, all three major averages trading higher this morning. All right, back to Natalie. Natalie, what's going on with that big proctor development? Well, time is going to tell, I think. I hear people are pretty excited about that. It's the biggest development in Proctor area since the railroad days. Apparently that's the case. So I've been following it, you know, going to, went to the St. Louis County meeting and just learning about it all. It's going, I mean, statewide and across the country, data centers, solar farms, all of that is a big conversation right now happening in various parts of Minnesota in the Midwest for sure. I, you know, was wondering as far as, you know, jobs it may or may not bring in and impacts that it's had on other communities that have had the data centers. What are you hearing? I think there's a mixture of, you know, what I'm trying to do is exactly the same thing everybody's doing, is, you know, having an open mind and looking at the pros and cons. I think there's definitely 10 years probably of heavy construction opportunities for the trades in this region, if not longer. And then, you know, there's fewer people that actually work in these, is my understanding, on an ongoing basis. the construction opportunities are there. And then the question is exactly what type of, you know, property taxes and or what kind of commercial tax base would a project like this bring to Hermantown to St. Louis County? I think people want to know what portions are going to come back to the city, to the county, or is it going to the state? How is that going to be? Because commercial...

property taxes, the rate is generally twice what homeowners pay. So it's really important for communities to build a strong commercial tax base because that's how we fund help offset the school costs, police costs, fire department costs, roads and bridges. There's many infrastructures that are funded by the base for property taxes. So anything we can do to help. offset people, that's a big issue that I get called on, is just being priced out of their homes at all levels, from individuals to families to seniors. But I think there's all kinds of questions people just have. What exactly is it? Who is it? You know, questions on why was there a non-disclosure agreement or not? And so, you know, what are the rules that exist? And so I'm finding out from a lot of cities across the state and across the country, you know, just looking at data and these are newer things. So there's just questions from everybody, and that's normal, I think, that people would ask questions. We all want clean air and clean water. We live here. Right. Well, there's been controversy in Hermiton with the Data Center. Now, Proctor's in your district also, isn't it? Yes. Okay, you've got the big tourism sports complex and Proctor coming up. Now, nobody seems to be against that. So at least in Proctor Town, you've got something going on. Major sports and tourism development. I ran into one of the developers the other night and had a chance to chat with him, and he was pretty enthusiastic. They've got a lot of stuff that needs to happen before that goes forward. But people are pretty excited about this potential development in Proctor. It's a fantastic opportunity, and getting the infrastructure in Proctor, you know, that we're working on a project to get to capital bonding money for infrastructure, to add more housing and Procter, and the sports complex is not only going to be great for just, it's also going to serve people that have disabilities to have them be able to compete in a sports complex in a regional base for the state. And it has tremendous opportunities for a region, for the hotel, for the hospitality, and to showcase northern Minnesota. So that sports complex is just a fantastic opportunity, and housing is a great opportunity in the Procter region. So there's a lot going on that will help contribute to the commercial tax base. So the latest speaking of Trump there, of course, the loyal opposition is giddy about getting Trump on anything. You know, they tried on the Russia hoax. They tried impeaching him. They tried on his properties in New York. They tried on this and that. But of course, he's squeaky cleaning. Well, you. Whether he is or not. Yeah, I know. The latest is the Epstein fiasco. Oh, right. So now allegedly Trump and Epstein were friends or acquaintances, and they're trying to show Trump. Now there's emails that have come up showing that he and Epstein had talked that Trump had visited his home. This is back in the 80s. Yeah, whenever they tasted. So these are a bunch of rich guys. And Epstein, there's no... about it was a terrible, terrible person and what they were doing in recruiting young women to frolic with these rich guys. And I was thinking about this when I was coming down when I saw this. So here's the deal. So here's some 17-year-old who... One way or the other, maybe he had fake IDs or whatever, got somehow involved with this Maxwell or whoever was recruiting women for Epstein's collage or whatever the case. Stable. Stable of women. Stable of women. And so here's Epstein and all his buddies or friends or whoever he's trying to influence where he's having these events where he brings out all these young women. Now, this is not. some 25-year-old guy meeting a 17-year-old who has fake IDs in the bar and dating her and then later finding out. She's underage. Right. Or a 20-year-old guy dating a gal that's just got out of high school that's 17. These are 40, 50, and 60-year-old plus men frolicking with young women. Whether they're 17, 18, or 19, the point is a number of them were underage. And these are rich guys trying to bring back their youth or whatever with 17 or 18. Now, what 17-year-old gal is going to go out and see, oh, there's a good looking six-year-old guy?

I'd love to date him. Unless he's got a billion plus, but most women wouldn't go that route. So the point of the matter is, this guy and the collage of people that he had were bad news people. And they were your classic. Old guy. The rules don't apply to me, guys. Yeah. And the point is, is that, you know, whether Trump gets reeled into this or not, I mean, you already saw one guy, the former senator from, was it, New Jersey, Mendandez, Mendez. Oh, Mendez. Mm-hmm. He allegedly had gone frolicing with Epstein on his spine. Don't forget the prince over in Jolly Old. Formerly known as Prince. Former Prince. Former Prince Andrew. But man to end is, is in jail because he took bribes as a senator. They finally got him on that. So he's tainted by this. The former Prince Andrew. is tainted by this and of course everybody's giddy to get the list right if there's a list yeah and what's her name that's in jail now Maxwell claims there's no list everybody thinks there's a list well people kept track of people So somebody knows something. Somebody's got a roll a deck somewhere. Yep. So it'll all come out, whether it's Donald Trump or whoever that was caught up in this mess with Epstein, running around in his jet, going to his island or whatever the case is. and playing around either with underage girls or very young women and you're 40, 50 years older than them. You know what? I'm sure it's not the only thing going on. It's still happening. It's just someone else who's not, you know, named Epstein. Look at, you know, P. Diddy and his entourage of shenanigans. That's two men right there with a lot of money and a lot of power. Not even, you know, racially. One is African American. One is Caucasian. We know there's more out there. Well, you've got this white collar type crime here going on. Then you've got the underworld where women are kidnapped. Young women, especially in the Native American community, that actually kidnapped and taken away and sold off to somebody somewhere. And you've got that all, and little kids in the same way. So you've got all this underpinning going on within society internationally. Special place in health. Sex traffickers for kids and women all over the world. Well, there you have.
