Yeah, Lorraine County Sheriff's public corruption unit executed warrants on Thursday at that county's administration building and the county's 911 call center. In a case, we learned Thursday afternoon that's related to potential fraud involving a consultant and the 911. Center. Type of information we are seeking pertain to a variety of different contracts that pertain to the county and the county 911 center don't want to get into specific individuals or specific companies but we have reason to believe that there's been fraud committed related to some contracts related to the 911 center. Inspector Mike Thomas Massie with the Lorraine County Sheriff's Office, he said they'll take some time and review all of the evidence they've gathered before they determine what potential charges are and who is involved. Now, despite heavy machinery already moving dirt for a few months now, on Thursday, the Browns and the city of Brook Park held an official groundbreaking event for the team's new indoor stadium. Brown's owner, Dee Haslam, kicked off the festivities. It will elevate Cleveland onto a global... stage, ensuring that this project will showcase a reimagined Northeast Ohio. NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell, among the dignitaries in attendance. I think this is going to bring the fan experience to a whole nother level here. Having the space that's out here. to be able to get into the facility, have your tailgates, celebrate the Browns, celebrate other events going on. I think it's going to be extraordinary. Goodell added that the stadium will be a Super Bowl quality stadium, though he stopped short on whether it would eventually host a big game. The stadium is expected to be completed in time for the 2029 season. The longest shutdown in the federal government's history is over after a bipartisan deal is signed by the president. a temporary funding source would soon be exhausted for TSA screeners and other federal agents, the House approved a Senate-passed measure, reopening most of the Department of Homeland Security. The funding bill does not include immigration enforcement operations, but Republicans in the House and Senate are moving to quickly boost ICE and CBP funding through a separate budget process. The DHS funding bill ends a political stalemate triggered in February. Democrats refused a full DHS. HHS funding bill without reforms to ICE and border patrol. Those sought changes are not included in the legislation. Jared Halpern, Fox News. The Trump administration is now asking other countries to join a coalition with the U.S. to reopen the Strait of Hormuz. An internal State Department cable sent to U.S. diplomats around the world this week said the coalition called the Maritime Freedom Construct would help coordinate diplomatic efforts, be aligned on sanctions, and share information to help.

Then we will see the oil markets get flooded with a little bit more oil, which then means we will see oil prices go. below probably $90 at some point. By the way, AAA this morning puts Ohio's current average now at $483.37 higher than it was. just yesterday. Massive May Day demonstrations are planned for today across the country led by labor unions and Democrat-backed organizations. The director of organized power in numbers, Nadee D. D. Dominguez says she expects over 3,000 demonstrations. Dominguez says several cities, including Los Angeles and Chicago, are preparing for citywide economic blackouts. Chicago public school officials say they're working to hold classes, even though the Chicago Teachers Union says it plans to... to embrace a no school, no work, no shopping day of protest. Basically, the Cleveland area, according to a report yesterday, is somewhere in the 20s. So you almost would need 40 new hotels, I guess, to really host something of that magnitude. And we're playing the music of Paul McCartney here. I want to talk about his exhibit. But first, Greg, I should start off with two very influential names in music in the past week. Passed away, both Dave Mason and David Allen Coe. And both really did leave their marks on the music world.

They did, hey, Keith. You know, what's interesting about both those artists is, yes, they were songwriters as well. And it's their songs, sometimes even done by other people that we remember, you know. And that's really magical. These are the people that wrote the music that we grew up to still listen to today. And rest in peace to both of them. Yeah, two heavyweights for sure. All right. So you guys are always working on new exhibits over there. In about two weeks' time, we're going to have this Paul McCartney. Wings exhibit that'll be open up. Tell us all about it. Yeah, you know, this is the, it's our new headline exhibit. It's, it's Paul McCartney and Wings. And it's the biggest collection of Paul McCartney materials ever exhibited anywhere. at any time. So the curator has been working hard on this. And, you know, the band you played them on the lead in with silly love songs. We all know band on the run and so many others. It coincides with a documentary film that's out right now, a box set, and a lot of other celebrations for Wings. We're going to open the exhibit on May 16th. There's a special opening. Lawrence Juber, one of the members of Wings, is coming out for this. There's information at rockhall.com. If people want to attend, you can get tickets to attend the opening of the new Wings exhibit. And once it's open on that date, it's open all summer long, come down and enjoy it. And it's really just an amazing exhibit. A fun fact, many people, when you think of Paul McCartney and Wings, you think of Linda McCartney, who was his wife and co-vocalist and songwriter on that. She was... Her mom was born in Shaker Heights, and her grandparents lived here as well. And so there's a little Cleveland connection for Paul McCartian Wings. You know, it's fascinating to see the resurgence of yesterday's music with today's generation. I have a 15-year-old son, and to watch him get into bands like the Beatles and to listen to their music. I know this is something that teenagers are getting into. It would be neat, I think, to take them to this exhibit and to experience Paul McCartney in Wings. You know, I think that's a great idea. There's always stuff that we can show our kids and they can learn about. And there's music in our museum that they can show us and we can learn about as well. And I want to remind folks that if you live in Cleveland, tickets are free. thanks to Key Bank to come to the museum every day all year long. So come down and check out the museum and check out the Wings Exhibit opening up later this month and open all summer. It joins our Saturday Night Live 50 exhibit and all the other great stuff at the museum as well. I was just a kid when they came out. We were the junior Beatles. And we'd play in front of our parents and stuff like that. I was Paul. Yes. I'm actually offering cash for that photo, just if anybody's got one. Oh, geez. Greg, you know, we announced the Rock Hall, the class for the Rock Hall just a couple of weeks ago. Tell me about all the activities. that's been going on behind the scenes to get ready for the induction ceremony. Obviously, there's the ceremony in the concert and all that, but you are working at the museum hard to get it ready for all these folks. Oh, yeah, we've had the contact. There's 18 inductees this year. And our curators are out speaking to the individuals themselves or their family members to collect things for our exhibits and to get stuff shipped here. A bunch of them are international people. And, you know, the ceremony is going to be in L.A. in the fall. It'll be back in Cleveland next year. We've already announced that. And there's tickets that go on sale later this summer. You'll get more information about the induction. But the inductee exhibit will be opening up before the induction, and we're out collecting for that now. The other thing we're working on is our summer concert lineup. We've got a bunch of great bands, including the band Spoon, who has already sold out show. A band called The Church is playing as well, and a number of others. We're going to do live concerts at the lakefront on our summer stage all summer long. We have a Bruce Springsteen fan day coming up when the boss is in town later this month. The sudden increase of gasoline prices here in Ohio to just under $5 a gallon is something that could have been expected, according to WT.A.M. Oil industry analyst R.T. Trevino. He says the whole Strait of Hormuz situation is an obvious reason, but there's also seasonal refinery maintenance that needs to be factored in. What we're seeing right now is just some maintenance issues, I believe, in Chicago. I know we had some safety issues and concerns here in the great state of Texas with our production. He's hoping the conflict in Iran ends, and Trevino believes the U.S. will be controlling Iranian oil, just like we're now starting to do with Venezuela. These investigations are always a long-term investigation, so it doesn't always give the... the public, the recourse that they're looking for immediately, but it's important when we're investigating fraud or corruption that we are very thorough and corroborate all the evidence, so it takes time. Inspector Mike Thomas Massie with the Lorain County Sheriff's Office. The President signed an executive order decree, government-backed retirement accounts for workers without employer plans. The new initiative will offer... for accounts similar to those available to federal employees with details and enrollment information set to be posted on a new website, Trumpira.gov. Tick bites are on the rise in the U.S. The CDC report seeing the highest number of tick bite emergency room visits since 2017. 96 out of 100,000 ER visits in April were for tick bites, three times the number recorded in March. So far, the northeast and Midwest have been the most impacted. It's a big issue because ticks can carry Lyme disease, Rocky Mountain spotted fever, and something called alpha-gal syndrome, a condition that can cause a meat allergy. The company says as many as 10,000 jobs will be cut up from its previous target of 7,000 a year ago. S.D. Turning to trading, stocks hit another record yesterday on better than expected earnings from Google Parent Alphabet Caterpillar and other... big businesses. An electric vehicle maker Rivian is ramping up its planned production at a factory its building in Georgia to 300,000 cars annually, a 50% increase from its original target. One thing that I've seen some people talking about is today is an interesting day. President Trump's war powers. expire today, but does that really mean anything to anybody? Well, does it mean anything to Republicans who control Congress? I think is the real question, right? And, by the way, they've already skipped town for the weekend. So there isn't anyone really too objected much to this. And so far, the Republicans who run the House and Senate have not really wanted to get in President Trump's way when it comes to his agenda. And the other argument we heard from Secretary Pete Hegseth was that... They don't count the days where there's a ceasefire. So yes, things did start two months ago, but you don't count the days where there's a ceasefire.

That may not be legally true, but that's one of the excuses they're using right now. It really does seem something very silly to argue about it when you think of it and you look at it that way. You know, it's almost like watching a baseball game and you don't count the commercial breaks for the length of the game. I had someone explain, it's like a soccer game. You never know when it ends, you know, because only the ref has the watch. Well, let's switch gears to something maybe not so serious on this Friday morning. Tomorrow is the Kentucky Derby. And this is something that people have looked forward to for years, for decades, right? It is a tradition down there in Louisville. And tomorrow, for the first time in a long time, there are going to be people not really betting on this because we're betting on everything else now. Well, right. So it has, you know, the betting has become ubiquitous. But what's interesting is that we haven't seen horse racing in particular fall under these prediction markets like polymarket or Kalshi. It really, we're not really seeing much of an influence there. And that may be in part because the field is so big. Look, if you have the guardians playing the Red Sox, you can go A or B, which one do you want? And that's sort of how those prediction markets work. But when you got 20 horses. No one knows how they're feeling that day. It doesn't lend itself to these prediction markets where we've seen explosive growth in what they don't call betting for the record. It's just a prediction market. Well, I will put some money down on people discovering that mint juleps are indeed one of the worst tasting beverages at the Kentucky Derby. I don't know why people drink those. Have you ever had one of those? Just have the ice at that. They are so bad. And they're just terrible. And I don't know how that's the thing.
