The city of Brook Park, a step away from approving a deal with the city of Cleveland that would create a framework for future development near the IX Center and the surrounding area. Brook Park City Council Tuesday night approving an agreement that would give Cleveland full tax revenue from the IX Center and a subsequent business park. Brooke Park, in return, would receive 34 acres of land in. Brook Park previously owned by Cleveland, along with more than $23 million cash buyout, which would be paid in $650,000 installments over 33 years. A final vote still needed by Brook Park leaders, then the deal would have to be approved by Cleveland City Council and the FAA. A fire in a building under I-90 in Cleveland has now been determined to be an act of arson. It was last Tuesday that a fire started in a two-story former factory underneath I-490 near Broadway in the industrial flats, which prompted closure of that freeway and others nearby during the morning rush hour as a precaution. Now Cleveland Fire has determined that that fire was set deliberately. The investigation continues as to who set that fire and why. I'm Tom Moore. And arrest has now been made in connection with Saturday's arson fire at Roush's Market in Akron. The Northern Ohio Violence Pugitive Task Force arrested Manuel Ramirez Molina and he's 36 years old and he's wanted in connection to the arson at Roush's Market on Thornton Avenue in Akron.

Ann Murphy with the U.S. Marshal Service in Cleveland says they were brought in to arrest Ramirez Molina because he's in the country illegally. Owners of the building that was set on fire claimed that Ramirez Molina had previously been caught shoplifting. Iran is firing on its neighbors, damaging an international airport while the U.S. strikes back. More now on that story from Fox News Radio's. Jonathan Savage. Kuwait's Defence Ministry says several drones targeted its airport's passenger building, causing damage and injuries. Commercial flights were suspended. Meanwhile, Bahrain intercepted incoming Iranian missiles. Iran's Revolutionary Guards says they were aimed at the headquarters of the United States Navy's 5th Fleet. This purportedly a response to the US firing a missile into the engine room of an oil tanker that was trying to reach Iran despite the American blockade. Two Iranian news agencies report mediated peace negotiations have been paused, claims described by President Trump as false and erroneous. Jonathan Savage, Fox News. High-stakes primary elections taking place Tuesday in six states, including California in the race for Los Angeles mayor, former reality TV star Spencer Pratt and incumbent Karen Best have been leading the vote count overnight. A Republican drawn Alabama congressional map is getting the green light from the U.S. Supreme Court in a ruling released late last night. The court overruled a three-judge panel that said the map likely discriminates against black voters. The map, which will be used in the upcoming midterms, allows the state to void a majority black district. Republicans and Democrats have been in a race to redraw congressional maps across the country to try and pick up as many seats as possible in the November midterms. A day after swinging up. blockbuster deal, which sent defensive end Miles Garrett to the Rams, Cleveland Brown's GM Andy Barr, explaining his reasons to the media. Just yesterday we had a story about Alaska Airlines dressing up painting one of the planes for Toy Story 5. Back in the news this morning, but they're facing a fine, huh? A proposed fine, and that's how we have to award it because it's a proposed fine from the Federal Aviation Administration to Alaska Airlines for allowing visibly intoxicated passengers. to board flights. This is over a 12-month period of time, February of 24 to February of 2025. We had 11 separate situations where passengers boarded the aircraft, created onboard disturbances, and several of those resulted in a diverted flight and some onboard issues. And the FAA is saying, look, the airline needs to do a better job at making sure that the visibly intoxicated passengers do not board an aircraft to prevent this kind of thing from happening. Now, I say proposed fine of $165,000 because typically they're given this proposed fine. Then they negotiated out like a third. They promise never to do it again. And of course, Bill, it's just like a three-year-old toddler. I will never do that again. Make it less. Yeah, I see. Okay. That's why they've got to negotiate back and forth. It drives me crazy. Just find them and pay it. Something else you have talked about over and over again. We got somebody doing something nasty on a plane. We don't ban them in this country. The airlines, that particular airline might, but we don't do an overall ban. Europe, though, is going to do that? It looks like it. They're actually looking at a proposal that says if somebody is an abusive passenger on a specific airline, they would not only be banned on that carrier, but every other carrier as well. And you and I've talked about so many times before on matters of assault. When you've got a passenger that assaults a crew member or a passenger, they should face some serious ramifications as far as consequences and lose their flying privileges, because that's what it is, on all carriers. in the United States for maybe a period of a year, two or three, just something so there's some consequences to that kind of behavior. Plus, the idea of allowing somebody to shove a flight attendant on Southwest, and later that day they can just skip aboard a Delta flight. I just don't like it all. But in Europe, they're looking at this. It's the last to go through some hoops to make it possible. But Bill, I'm really hoping that not only there, but we can look at doing it here. Airlines... have resisted this every step of the way, which is why when they say passengers and our flight crews are a number one priority, I'm like, just prove it.

After hearing complaints about high on-street parking rates in Cleveland City Council has passed the emergency legislation to bring those rates down. parking at metered locations and neighborhoods will now be a dollar an hour for the first eight hours up to three dollars an hour after eight hours meantime parking rates of up to eight dollars per hour can now be charged in the gateway and lakefront areas downtown the parking can be paid for with cash or credit mayor justin bib will have to sign this ordinance into effect i'm tom more U.S. Marshals say they've arrested the suspect in Saturday's arson blaze at Roush's Market in Akron. 36-year-old Manuel Ramirez Molina being held by U.S. Marshals, as they say he was in the country illegally. And our working relationship with Akron Fire Department and, of course, with Akron Police Department, the case was turned over for investigation to the task force, and we took him into custody very quickly. President Trump's signing a revised version of an executive order aimed at addressing the cybersecurity threats of artificial intelligence. The order was signed privately, and according to reports, it features less advanced government scrutiny. Under the scaled back version of the order, AI companies will be asked to submit their new models to a voluntary government review 30 days before releasing them to the public, while an earlier draft of the document called for a voluntary review of as much as 90 days in advance. The signing comes after Trump reportedly participated. in a small, high-level meeting at the White House on Monday regarding the order. A native of Mansfield being credited with helping him gain control of an unruly passenger on board a frontier airlines flight over the weekend. Former M.MA fighter in Ohio State grad Josh Longwood was on the Sunday flight from Puerto Rico to Chicago when another passenger reportedly tried to open an emergency exit door. Longwood stopped the man and used a seatbelt to restrain him until he could be secured with hand ties. The flight was diverted to Chicago and the man taken away by law enforcement. Now, the Browns wanted him to stay on as defensive coordinator, but Jim said that that just would not have worked. I didn't feel like I could do my job after getting passed over for the ag coaching job. It's sort of, you know, just put me in a tough position. Hey, we want you to listen to this guy, but we didn't think, we didn't want to make him an head coach. So I made the decision to resign, you know, and I have to sit out this year as a result. He also said that he felt that Todd Munkin should hire his own guy to be the defensive coordinator. Schwartz, by the way, was talking to Ryan Ripkin. If that name's familiar, Ryan is Cal Ripkin. Good morning, guys. How are you doing? We're doing well. Rob, this is a great tradition for high school, isn't it? It is awesome. You know, these kids get the opportunity to go out there. Like you said, one last time football is just so important to Northeast Ohio and to Ohio high schools. And it's just a great opportunity for these kids and for our community. Yeah, you know, and Rob, too, you say Northeast Ohio, right? It's expanded beyond Cuyahoga County, the players who are involved, correct? Yeah, so we're excited now for the second year in a row. We've added kids on the west side from Lorraine County and on the east side from Lake County just to give more kids opportunities as what we really decided at the end of the day was important to us. But I think it's always football season around here. There have been some great games over the years and great tradition. And I think from the fan standpoint, too, you never know who you may see, right? We go back to history of this game. Travis Kelsey is among those who played in this game, right? Yeah, you know, like you said, we just don't know who, what these kids are going to turn out to be, whether they're great football players or great businessmen or great policemen. You know, it's really exciting to look out there and say, hey, what are these kids going to turn out to be? So they piece together these practices with some kids here this day, some kids here that day. And they put in a ton of time to do this all volunteer just because they love the game.
