that sometime after a Republican, either Trump or JD Vance leave office, there's no statute of limitations on murder. They're going to file criminal charges against federal law enforcement. Now, that may be difficult, but it depends who's in the presidency. Let me explain. As long as there's a Republican in the presidency. The prosecutor of those individuals, when the cases moved from state court to federal court, would be the Attorney General of the United States, who would be appointed by the Republican president, which means it won't happen. But as you know, murder doesn't have a statute of limitations. So at some point in the future, there will be a Democratic president, a Democratic House, and a Democratic Senate, and those charges could be filed against these two agents who shot and killed Alex Pretty. Their names are on the web, and they've been doxed out by certain NGOs and 501c3s put out by George Soros. And these left-wing activists are comparing federal law enforcement to Hitler and the Nazis. It's getting worse. Stephen Colbert on their evening late night CBS show said it's not fair to the Nazis to compare ICE agents to Nazis. But the ICE agents are worse than Nazis after the 80th anniversary of Auschwitz and Bergen now. And that's what's passing for discourse today. The rhetoric is beyond incredible, and the media will not, of course, call anyone on it. But the good guys are wearing the mask to stop from being docks. But somehow, through leaks and ice of Border Patrol agents, the mask have been removed from the two guys who shot and killed Alex Preti, and now their lives will be ruined going forward at infinitum. That's where we are. And it's sick and it's sad and it's demanded. But that's exactly where we are. That forces on the left are going to hunt down federal law enforcement after Donald Trump leaves office. And you can only imagine. If and when in November, if the House flips or the Senate flips, most likely the House will flip. That's my prediction. Despite the protestations of some, I don't sense in the Republican hierarchy a desire to vote in this election to the same extent as Democrats, that if we don't get out and vote in November, we're going to have a flip of the House. Hakeem Jeffries will be the Speaker, and they're going to issue subpoenas. They're going to go after every part. of the Trump administration to absolutely destroy it. That's what's at stake. When I see the outcome of the state Texas Senate race a few days ago in a district that leans Republican, the Democrat, running against Donald Trump in the Texas state Senate race, and I would think that Texas state Senate has little or nothing to do with Donald Trump. One by 15 percentage points.

Over the Republican nominee, in fact, there's been 16 races in the last several months, 15 of the 16 been won by the Democrat, not because they're right, but because their voters are coming out in anger to vote against Donald Trump and vote against anything that's Republican. So I have a guest coming on later. Scott Jerome Powell to talk about what's at stake in this November's election, and believe me, there's a whole bunch at stake. Because if this thing flips, which at some point it will, of course, we're going to live in a different world than we're living right now. And that is a world in which federal law enforcement will be criminally charged in state courts for murders and a bunch of other charges when it's completely utterly unjustified. And one of the great comments Tom Homan made on one of the interviews, he've had so many recently, Tom Homan is a hero, I think, been out of for about 35 years. He said he's done the same job under Trump that he did under Barack Hussein Obama, under Trump One, and under Joe Biden. I did the same job. It didn't change. What changes the proclivities of that person in the Oval Office to actually enforce federal law. In fact, he pointed out to the media four or five days ago. It's either Wednesday or Thursday, that under the Obama administration, there were 56 deaths. I said 56 deaths under Barack Hussein Obama. The great majority, of course, were justified, much like the shooting of good and the pretty. They were justified, but nonetheless, there was no many outcry. There was no light-night comics taken advantage of the ignorance of his viewers. There was no talk of indictment by blue cities and blue state prosecutors. 56 died under Obama and about 17 died under Biden, which means collectively 83 died in ICE custody in one way or another. And also during the Obama years, there was 500,000 kids in cages that were there temporarily with their family until they were deported. And Tom Homan said, look. I received a gold medal from Barack Hussein Obama in 2015, thanking me for what I had done to enforce federal law. And the Obama of 2015 and the Hillary Clinton of 2016 spoke like Donald Trump speaks today. So that's the clearest example I can think of, that the issue involves around politics and not substance. Because the politics right now indicates by some, we don't want federal law to be enforced. Well, Obama enforced it. And to a large extent, there was some enforcement under Biden, but not very much. They wanted the borders to be open, and 15 to 20 million came in because that's what they required. But I hope you would agree with me. Some of the sickest things that's happened recently is the fact. that we have numerous important Democratic officials, including candidates for the governorship of California, saying they're going to cause criminal indictments to be issued against numerous ICE officials, I guess beginning with Tom Homan, and maybe going up to Donald Trump, for their activities enforcing federal law. That makes no sense at all, but the media cares deeply about the issue. And secondly, secondly,

We had Todd Blanche in most of the talk shows today. He's a deputy attorney general. He was, Todd was also Donald Trump's lawyer for some of the criminal charges falsely filed against Donald Trump. He went back and forth to George Stephanopoulos about denying the five-year-old and the father has an asylum claim that's bending. Now, this is critical. You've heard as an article of faith. that the boy's father who came in illegally across the border from Ecuador brought with him, of course, his son about a year and a half, two years ago. And Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche indicated today, I think for the first time, that there is no pending asylum claim, despite the fact the lawyers claim there is. As far as Liam Ramos, his darling five-year-old boy and his father, Adrian Alexander Arias, entered the U.S. illegally in 2024. And you may know that their media has been claiming they have an active asylum claim. With Todd Blanche, Deputy Attorney General of the United States said this morning, they do not have a pending claim. Is that important? Well, it could be. But we also know at the moment the five-year-old was taken into ICE detention, his father ran off and would not take care for his son. And they tried to have the family inside the house to take the boy, but they refused. And I think they refused because there were many in the house, shall we say illegally. But ICE told them through the door, look, we're not interested. Just take the five-year-old boy. Because the ICE police are moms and dads and brothers and uncles and grandmothers and women and men, husbands and wives, mothers and fathers that have a heart. They did not want to take possession of a five-year-old in freezing temperatures. The father refused and the mother would not take custody. So when the father was finally apprehended, they both were together taken to Texas and a big show of force this morning. A U.S. Congressman followed the two back home with darling pictures on the evening newscast and tonight that indicate they're together. But here are the comments, shall we say, of Attorney General Todd Blanche going at it with George Stephanopoulos and Danny Boy Gleason, if those cuts are ready, hit it. So when do you believe that Mr. Lemon crossed the line from reporting on what was going on to criminal activity? Conveniently missing from what you just show, George, is the appellate court and a judge on the appellate court who said just a few days later there was clearly probable cause and it wasn't even a close question. So, and by the way, a grand jury, which is what our system has set up to determine whether probable cause concluded that there was probable cause. That indictment is now public. Everybody in this country can pull it up and read for themselves and see what the grand jury found that Mr. Lemon did. I am not going to comment on the charges specifically because it's not appropriate. But it's interesting that we talk about the first amendment right. You have a right of freedom of religion.

which is just as important as any other right that we have. And George, I don't know if you've watched the videos or read the indictment about what it's alleged that Mr. Lemon did. But if anybody in this country thinks that that is, quote, independent journalism, I would like to have a conversation with you. Now, he's obviously has a very good lawyer. He can raise defenses in court to the extent he wants to. But nobody in this country should feel comfortable storming into a church while it's ongoing and disrupting that church service. and thinking that we're just going to stand by and let that happen because there is a statute that does not allow that to happen. It doesn't matter if you happen to be a former CNN journalist. It doesn't matter if you're a rioter. It doesn't matter if you think you're peacefully protesting. You are not allowed to do that. Now, earlier in that interview, he spoke about the boy, and then later on he talked about Don Lemon. The key part of the earlier part of the interview was that he said, among other things, Todd Blanche said that it's not true he has a pending claim of asylum. There's a meaningful dispute about that. They'd properly applied for the asylum. And Todd Blanche said, no, they didn't. I'm sure at this point they probably have. But to get on the second part of that interview, Don Lemon. Tonight at the Grammys, I watched some of the pre-coverage. Hard to watch it. He was whined Don Don in pocketline by the Hollywood elite, Don Lemon, formerly of CNN, which from Don Lemon's perspective, that's the best thing that ever happened to him was to get arrested. And the beautiful point is, and I watched some of the coverage this morning, Don Lemon is a journalist in the same way that I'm a giraffe. I can say that I'm a giraffe. That doesn't make me a giraffe. And Don Lemon is not a journalist. He's an advocate for his position, his viewpoint. But you cannot go into a church, into a synagogue, into a mosque, and exercise, quote, your First Amendment privileges. Doesn't work that way. It's wrong. In fact, there's a Minnesota statute, last Sunday now to head on an expert that said Minnesota statute on this is similar to the so-called face. It's FACE, Joe Scarborough, not faith. It's the Face Act, which means that individuals seeking an abortion have free and easy access to the clinic. But the second part of the Face Act says that people cannot go into a religious service and protest. You know, the First Amendment. has applications, and it's limited. It's limited. You can't go into the middle of I-70 or I-5 or I-95 exercising your First Amendment rights. You know what I'm saying? And say, I'm in the middle of an expressway. I can say what I want to say. One cannot walk into a home or walk into a private business that with a property is owned by someone else and exercise their First Amendment rights because you don't own the property. You can practice your religion, but government doesn't have to build you a church. So Don Lemon does not have the First Amendment right to go into a church or into your home or into a target store on a private property, yell, scream, holler, and shout about immigrant rights. It doesn't work that way. You don't own the property. So I think Todd Blanche's comments were completely on the mark. So let's continue. We'll talk about the guests for tonight's big show.

Absolute chaos. Who's responsible for most of the chaos? I would point out some good note. And I'm going to take calls on the other side. We have calls Michigan and New Orleans many other places. Last week for the first time, a D-Transitioner won a malpractice lawsuit against her therapist and the surgeon. The transition took place when she was 16 years old. The court in New York awarded $2 million, according to the New York Post, including $400,000 in future medical expenses. Fox Varian, now 22, identified as nine binary, and as a boy, her psychologist, approved a double mastectomy, and her surgeon performed it when she was 16 years old. She later detransitioned returning to identifying as a girl and concluding that the medical interventions harmed her. She said she was bullied and pushed into doing it. The jury was not asked to judge whether the interventions were safer or effective, only that the clinicians and the doctors departed from the accepted standard of care and evaluating and treating a minor. Hallelujah. Imagine what the verdict would have been. If that case was in Ohio or Texas or, shall we say, some other state other than the state of confusion, which is the state of New York. But that's a great thing. That's a good thing. I love it. Do more of it. I'll just continue with more. Lay upon the table. What do you think about Don Lemon invading a Christian church? What do you think about detransitioners winning money? What do you think about what's happening in Minnesota? What do you think about Philadelphia prosecutors are going to hunt down, hunt down law enforcement in the next few years and hold Nuremberg-style trials in which large judgments will be issued and indictments will be issued against individuals enforcing federal law? present to tonight is that the Democratic Party once again is in rebellion against the federal government. It's as old as 1789, as old as Jefferson Davis, as old as George Wallace, as old as the Democratic senators who refused to pass the Civil Rights Act in 1964, and the Democratic Party. Right now is in rebellion against the federal government, almost secessionist. In fact, Wayne Allen Root told me in a telephone call recently that maybe we should trade Minnesota to Canada for Alberta, their province, maybe throw in California just for the hell of it. It's awful when the Democratic Party says. That federal law does not apply in our city and our state. We're simply not going to follow federal law. Have you heard that before Jefferson Davis, Tim Walz, Jacob Frye, Larry Krasner? Have you heard that before? That we Democrats will not enforce federal law or allow federal law to be enforced. It's one thing to say, you know what? We're cops in Chicago. And we're not going to prosecute federal crimes. We're not going to arrest violations of federal law. That's one thing. But secondly, you can't obstruct, delay, or interfere with federal agents enforcing federal law because it does apply. If you live in Chicago, like my good friend, Sean Compton, who runs News Nation with an iron grip, he lives in Chicago. Does federal law apply in the state of Illinois? Does it? Well, what if the state of Mississippi says, you know what? We don't want to collect federal income tax anymore. Now, the state of Maryland says, you know what? Some of those civil rights laws, we don't want to enforce those civil rights laws anymore. The feds pass laws that apply over the entire country all the time. Once again, we have Democrats. who are saying federal law does not apply. Let's go to the telephone calls. Thousands on hold of millions. Millions are listening. Let's go to Greg and Michigan and thousands of others. Greg and Michigan, welcome to the Bill Cunningham show. Greg, how are you? Will we see the electrifying Mr. Positive. Boom, Shakalaka. Hey, you and I have a beef. I need you to be more fair. I want unity from you. You bring division. Democrats and Republicans both are at fault in some way, shape, or form. Why does William C. Wappen Cunningham always want to be divisive and say it's the Democrats' fault? Well, give me an issue where Donald Trump is not enforcing federal law. Can you point? Instead of nomenclatures, give me a specific example how Donald Trump is not enforcing federal law, but Tim Walz is.

Well, when it comes to Minnesota, I would concur with you. But he wants to stifle what you are all about. Two-time Marconi Award winner. You've done well. You want to stifle free speech. You want to stifle 60 minutes. Why? No, I don't. Oh, no, no, no. Great. Ocontrermone, Frere. I do not want to stop 60 minutes at all. They can do what they want to do. The difference is this. These are public airwaves. 60 minutes broadcast into public interest. Of course, I'm a podcaster, which is different. CNN, for example, is not using public airwaves. But 60 minutes, much like the ABC nightly news, has the duty to present both sides. Talk radio, for example, in my case, we got rid of the so-called, quote, fairness doctrine in 1987 because of Ronald Reagan. Right now, I can present one viewpoint, you present another. Is 60 minutes 50% conservative? Can you honestly say that? Right. You're right. You're right. But here's the thing, Willie. You've got to understand this. The only way we get to the truth is hearing both sides. You can never get to the truth by hearing one side. Here's the thing that I want to leave you with. There's one truth. Why are there 20 different news channels? I want you to be more with Chris Andrew Cuomo and try to go down and find the unity. Find the truth. I know you can do it. You're a smart man. You're 77 years old. You have the body of a 61-year-old. I watch you on Facebook. You're doing awesome. But do me a favor. Greg, you're talking. You identify differently than me. You're talking. Go ahead. Go ahead. Talk. Have added. I appreciate that. And that's what I'm glad you're understanding is that we both sides are talking. Right. And this is what it has to be, Billy. Mr. Positive wants unity. I want unity. And I mean, the only way we're going to get it is let's take the best minds like you and let's take the best minds like Andrew Cuomo and let's take the other side, whatever that is, and all three debate. That's the way we get to the truth. That's where the truth lies. Let me see this, Greg. In the major cities that are all Democratic, when Larry Krasner, the prosecutor in Philadelphia says, we're going to have Nuremberg-type trials on federal law enforcement, we're going to hunt them down like Nazis. How many other voices do you hear in Philadelphia dissimilar? The answer is none. When you have Brandon Johnson in city of Chicago, when you have the mayor in Minneapolis, Jacob Frey, there's no second opinion. In California, it's a one-party state. The so-called blue states are all one way. And I think as Americans, we have to have different viewpoints at different times, different occasions. But when you use the public airwaves, you're under duty to present both sides. And, hell, I just did. Let's go to Tom and Pittsburgh, the home of the Steelers. Tom and Pittsburgh, welcome to the Bill Cunningham Show. Tom, go ahead.

Hey, Bill. Yeah, I couldn't agree with. I don't want unity with people who have completely come unhinged. This is the worst case of sore loserdom that I've been through in my life. You know, I've been an athlete my whole life. I have a 14-year-old son who's an athlete. I know what losing is like, but what has gone on with the left. It makes me cringe, you know. They just cannot accept deceit, you know, in an election. It's the most juvenile, ridiculous, stupid thing I've ever seen in my life. And hey, Minnesota, you know. that's your circus. And Minneapolis, those are your monkeys. If I was Trump, I would call all of my ICE agents that are all over the country, and I would just surge them into Minneapolis and overpower those people with numbers. I'm sick of watching Minneapolis do what they're doing. How about this? On my ex-account a few days ago, I put the following. Liberals believe men can get pregnant. Is there a second side of that issue in your view, Tom? Yeah, of course there's not a second. How about abortion? Abortion is health care, but not for the baby. Is there a second side that, okay, let's have a half abortion? No. I also said, is it okay for nurses to carry a gun while obstructing law enforcement? Is there another part to that? Prattie carried a gun, committed felonies. And how about open borders are a great idea? Is there another side to that one? How about churches or sites for protests? How about violent illegals should stay here? And that's what liberals believe. And Bill, I'm still seething. Got to understand, I'm 62 years old. I have a 14-year-old son. And, you know, I'm raising them essentially on my own. And, you know, I went through COVID with him. And when they sent him home with a laptop for two years when he was in third and fourth grade, essentially trying to destroy his academic foundation. And fortunately, I'm educated and a fair teacher, so I didn't let that happen. I yanked him from the school district, Bill. And if I ever could get within arm's reach of Randy Weingarten from the union. She would be stunned to understand how furious parents are with people like her. I've had it with the left. I don't want anything to do with any kumbaya moments with these people. They're out of their damn minds. Well, Tom, I don't know. I feel we're heading towards some sort of a separation of division. I cannot imagine the results of people to think like you and I. If in November, Hakeem Jeffries becomes the Speaker, if in 2028 J.B. Pritzker becomes the president.

Or I don't know who they're going to. Kamala Harris is the president. Can you imagine what's going to happen then? Is there something we can agree to with them? The Democrats in the left has never compromised. They impose and you can't oppose them. And if you do, you might go to jail. The Democrats have put in prison about 70 Republicans. The opposite never takes place. I'm waiting for some prominent Democrat to be led away. I'm not talking about Don Lemon. He's a clown. I'm talking about Hillary Clinton. I'm talking about Obama. I'm talking about Brennan. I'm talking about James Comey. I'm talking about those of Arctic Frost. I'm talking about individuals who destroyed the presidency of Donald Trump. I'm waiting for something to happen. And I don't know. I believe in principles. And there's some principles I will not compromise to. And I just wrote off a few of them. There's nothing in the middle to come together and say abortion is half okay. Or criminals are half okay. Or it's okay to protest a little bit in a Catholic church during Mass. It's not okay. It's wrong. Identify what's wrong and stand on the ground that's right. You know what I'm saying? No, I know. And we are a national laws bill. And for four years, Joe Biden was asleep at the wheel and allowed 20 million people to come into this country. Now the adults have to clean up that mess. So my advice to the Democrats is you either pick up a mop and help clean up the mess or get the hell out of the way. Either way, it's getting done. Before I let you go, one other quick note. I see a news nation and other websites. The president is now saying, Donald Trump is saying, unless federal property is being damaged, which happens all the time, let the cities alone. I'm reading this. Some have said for a long time, why not let the blue cities and the blue states collapse under their own corrupt weight and then let them become sanctuary city, sanctuary states? and then there'll be so much evil in those cities that the voters in those cities will throw the bums out. How do you like that approach, if at all? Well, Bill, I love that approach. Only if it's accompanied by a complete yanking of federal funds to any of the sanctuary states and cities. You're on your own. And I'm reading this story about Donald Trump. And, you know, at some point you wash your hands and say, you know what? You don't want federal help. You do not want to enforce federal law, which is illegal, then you're on your own. And until you agree to get rid of sanctuary city status, which means we're going to violate federal law and commit felonies every time we do it, you're on your own. These blue cities could not operate without federal assistance. There would be none. No, pull the funds, let them collapse under their own weight, and I'll just make more popcorn and sit back and enjoy it from the deep, deep woods of north central Pennsylvania where they're never going to be able to get to me. Lastly, how do you react to those who say, you know what?

At some point, we have to tell the states and the cities that refuse to follow federal law that you're committing an insurrectionist act. You want to go back to 1850 with Jefferson Davis and the Confederacy. That somehow it offends me as an attorney, and I served in the AG's office for about six years. It offends me greatly when cities and states say we're not part of the United States of America. We don't want to... We don't want to follow federal law. We want to ignore federal law. And they did that repeatedly in the Confederacy. They did that repeatedly lynching black folks. They did that repeatedly during desegregation of public schools in the South. And eventually we won. The Republican Party won. And at this point, the approach might be, you know what? You cannot. You cannot violate federal law because the Supreme Court's going to rule within four or five months. The sanctuary cities are unconstitutional. You can't say as a city, we don't follow federal law. We ignore that. You can't say as a state, guess what, we're out of the union. We're not going to do that. Isn't that the recipe for chaos? Oh, and it's exactly what they're shooting for. And I think that they're actually hoping and praying that Trump goes for the Insurrection Act. And I'm actually impressed that he's shown some impulse control. And he's going to wait until that decision from the Supreme Court. But I would have no problem if he calls. Floyd riots there. And look how that city's run into the ground. There's about three million American citizens who live in and around Minneapolis in St. Paul. I can't imagine. No, number one, the weather there is terrible. And number two, the politics is worse. And I don't know how you have Jacob Frey and Tim Walz and Keith Ellison just announcing. We're going to docks agents. And the fact that this Soros group tonight put out the identity of those two cops who shot Alex Preti is disgusting. Now the media is going to go after these cops who, by the way, don't have Anglo-Saxon names and make their life miserable. Tom, thank you. Let's continue. Take a short break. You know, we've been hearing for the past year about, you know, from the Trump administration, from Tulsi Gabbard, from Pam Bondi, about.

you know, all the consequences that are going to come down for Russia Gate with Obama, Brent, Cody, all this. But we're getting nothing. Nothing. And the left is going to continue to do this unless there's some sort of accountability for their illegal actions. Imagine the conspiracy that Obama. Having known that Trump's about to get access to all the federal machinery in December of 2016, the meeting was on December the 8th, and he ordered the intelligence officials and the Oval Office meeting to change completely the intelligence about the Russians interfering in our election because the intelligence community said there was no interference between the Russians in 2016. Now, he was worried that once that got in the possession of Donald Trump, there'd be hell to pay. So he ordered Brennan, James Comey and others. to change the intelligence to reflect Russian collusion in the 2016 election that resulted in the Mueller report, that resulted in one impeachment, then another impeachment. It tied down the administration. It got General Flynn fired. It got numerous other officials with illegal warrants, and that proceeded for the first two years of the Trump terms, and all those individuals. I know there's a grand jury right now in paneled in Florida looking at this, but it began with Obama. went through Biden on to James Comey and on to Brennan and others to change the American intelligence to reflect a lie when the truth would get Obama in trouble. Could Obama get indicted? Yes. What would happen, Chris, if there was the same attitude toward lawbreaking by Democrats as there wasn't toward Republicans? What would the media do if Barack Hussein Obama was an unindicted co-conspirator? Can you imagine that? Well, frankly, I don't care anymore. You know, I look back at what Rush Limbaugh you saw, we say, which is like, stop trying to convince the left media of what's right, because they're never going to own up to it. And, you know, they're just going to, we're going to see Obama 4.0 if there isn't some accountability for not only what he did, but what all these other people are doing at some point, it will just never stop. It won't. And it's going to continue, and you can only imagine the Democrats are telling us now what they're going to do when they get power. They're telling us now they're going to continue the indictment of Republicans. They're going to go after individual men and women who serve in law enforcement. They're going to reign hell, according to Larry Krasner. They're going to have Nuremberg trials that will go on and on and on. They're going to treat Republicans in the future the way they treated Republicans in the past. And it's not going to stop. And so if that's the case, why not clean deck before they take over? Does that make sense? Yeah. I mean, I would point you to what Zohran Mamdani, the New York, has said multiple times before he was elected, talking about seizing the means of production. Now here's the man who's been recognized as Radio's best, the recipient of not one but two prestigious Marconi Awards for his broadcast excellence. The one and only, Bill Cunningham. By Billy Cunningham, the great American, of course, the great, I call him an American philosopher, Scott Jerome Powell, as a column at the Federalist, which is fabulous. And this is terribly important because, once again, there was a state Senate race in Texas that the Trumpster won plus seven that went to the Democrat plus 14. recently. And so I'm thinking, you know, that Democrats will come out and vote in hatred with false information, but the Trump voter is not coming out. And the reason they're not coming out is because Donald Trump is a unique personality. He's a Ronald Reagan and Abraham Lincoln type personality that will draw people when he's on the ballot. If he's not on the ballot, it's a problem. And the state Senate race in Texas, this should not have been a big issue, national politics, but the... the state senate democrat made it all about donald trump and he lost and i think across the country it's like 15 out of 16 if you make don't trump the issue the democrats are motivated to vote and the republicans are not motivated to vote and if that happens it comes november first uh tuesday after the first monday and november if that happens what in about 10 months we got serious problems And so Scott Jerome Powell has written three things Republicans need to do between now and November to win. Give me one, two, and three. Then we'll dive into one, two, and three. Scott Jerome Powell, first of all, welcome. Give me a full report. Well, first, you know, we need to fix the integrity of the U.S. election system. This is, you know, this is critical. It's imperative. You know, the moral authority of the United States. you know, it's critical in maintaining regional and world order, first of all. In other words, the United States has to be respected. But if we don't have a legitimate government, we lose that respect. You know, there are times when the most crucial factor in prevailing against corrupt regimes... and dictatorial foreign governments is the moral authority of the United States. When the U.S. loses its moral authority, as it did during the Biden administration, its deterrent power is compromised, and foreign adversaries are emboldened. So we've got to get election reform. And the election reform that I and most people feel comfortable with is, you know, voter ID everywhere. Only U.S. citizens can vote. Voting on one day. by paper ballots. And of course, there will be absentee ballots, but they have to be counted, they have to get, be submitted so they can be counted on election day. So that we know the results on election day. That's the way it used to be. I don't see why this is not, these three, these few things for election reform, and we get rid of the machines. Paper ballots implies that we get rid of these.

uh these electronic machines smartmatic uh dominion uh software which by the way dominion was originated by venezuelans and it was used early on to rig the venezuelan elections when it works so well they're being exporting it to the world and you know 70 70 countries have had their elections uh corrupted um by way of these voting machines. Number one, let's get to number one. U.S. citizens only vote, and that is, I think about Minnesota, which is typical, and which one, and there's no voter ID. You've got to be able to identify yourself to do anything in life except the vote. So in Minnesota, New York City, California, Illinois, you need no voter idea. You simply show up. I'm a breathing human being, and I sponsor eight other breathing human beings to come vote, none of whom have an ID. You take that group from the polling place to polling place, and suddenly you have distorted election. Is that what you're talking about? Absolutely. A vote fraud in America is a major problem. And the reason that the Democrats oppose any of these reforms is because they know they would lose these elections. So many of our Democrats are in power because of vote fraud. Yeah. Wake up America. Wake up. You want to have a, you want your country back? Okay, let's get election reform done. And I think, you know, I think the steps are being taken to do that, but I just, I just emphasize that this has got to get done as one. Number two, we've got to prosecute felony crimes committed by public officials. You know, people, people are demoralized because they think, and they can see, it isn't that they think. They see that we have a two-tiered justice system. And any country that has a two-tier justice system ends up with major political corruption. And in a democracy, it demoralizes the voter. Because what difference does it make? The system's corrupt. Why should I vote? So you would really, really, this... along with election reform, would really energize the Republican base. If they saw prosecutions of, you know, of officials, all Democrats, by the way, they're the ones who committed these felonies, I mean, there was a major coup hatched against Donald Trump in 2016. You know, about two weeks ago, I had a list of some 70 Republicans indicted by Democratic prosecutors. So far, there's been none on the other side of the fence. And you give up the classic example of Hillary Rodham Clinton, who obviously committed numerous serious felonies. And James Comey in the summer of 2016 gave her a Texas El Paso. And now she's trying to strike a deal with the House to testify about Epstein. But that is a classic example. It's rules for thee, but not. for me. And the Democrats and the major cities are involved. Now, I want to get the number three law and order in the U.S. cities, but I listen to the prosecutor in Philadelphia the other day. And the same rhetoric is being used by many Democrats, including Eric Swalwell, who's running for governorship in California. This is about law and order. It's going to keep the names of these ICE agents and also Donald Trump, etc. And they're going to have Nuremberg trials.

Nuremberg trials somehow after Trump gets out of office. So they're not suggesting. They're telling us that what they did the Republicans in 2017 through 2024 is going to be on steroids. According to Krasner, the Larry, the prosecutor in Philadelphia, there's going to be Nernberg trials. They'll be hunted down. And so they're telling us what's going to happen. Well, they're also telling us. that they don't believe in America. They don't believe in our system. They want to have a one-party state. They want to subvert the Constitution of the United States. You know, people don't realize how lucky we are. You know, we're the first nation in all of human history. In the entire 6,000-plus years of human history, we're the only, we're the first nation to create a government. where the people would be sovereign, where the government's job was to protect the unalienable rights of the people, and those included freedom of speech, freedom of assembly, and various legal rights, that these were not just rights given by government, these were rights given by God, and that it was the job of the government to protect them. We're the first nation that ever was formed in such a way, and we want to throw it all away after... I mean, when the United States was born in 1776, of course, the Constitution wasn't established until 1787 and ratified in 1789, you know, we were a poor country. Well, in just 120 years, we became the greatest economic superpower in the world, the greatest military power. I mean, it's unbelievable. Why did that happen? It happened because the Constitution limited the scope of government and empowered the people. In other words, we are a free, when we're a free people, we get it done, we prosper, we create, we innovate, we find better ways of doing things. We solve problems that government can never solve. Government doesn't produce anything. Why do we want more government? We don't. We want more power to the people. The Constitution did that, but unfortunately, you know, corruption has crept into our system and our very country is now jeopardized. by this wholesale corruption that has come in. And, you know, when the Democrats oppose election reform, what they're really projecting is, hey, we're really not in power legitimately. See, if we get honest elections, you know, we'll be out of power. The Republican majorities would be far greater if we had honest elections. And you bring up a great point. The Democrat Party has nothing to offer the American people for progress. for law and order nothing to say nothing of the social values they're promoting transgenderism you know all the all the values that have made us great are under assault by the Democrat Party how are they going to win a majority in this country except

if they have vote fraud. You have a great section under number three, restoring law and order. This is Scott Jerome Powell and the Federalist.com. That sanctuary cities, you say there's 20 large cities in 13 states that have adopted so-called sanctuary status with policy laws and regulations that impede enforcement of federal law, which, by the way, is a felony. It's illegal. Much like in the south when they say, well, you know, desegregation doesn't apply in Mississippi or Arkansas, doesn't apply here. The Confederacy said, guess what, we're going to nullify federal law. We went through all that. Here we are, 15, 200 years later, and the same Democrat Party is telling everybody, guess what, we're not going to enforce federal law. That's one thing. But to impede and to say we're going to break federal law, which is happening every hour of every minute of every day in 20 large cities and 13 states is... absurd it is a violation of the supremacy clause it is illegal and when the case gets to the u.s supreme court which will be in about six months they're going to rule i'm confident that you cannot declare the city of minneapolis or philadelphia or chicago guess what we don't we don't allow the enforcement of federal law in our jurisdiction and that's going to be struck down and so we have to have federal law applying to every city every state And we can't have new nullification. You know, Jefferson Davis was a character in the 1850s that reminds me now of Tim Walz. Tim Walz is saying federal law doesn't apply. Governor Pritz or Illinois say federal law doesn't apply. And so you cannot be part of the United States of America when you pick and choose which federal laws you will support. You can't do that, correct? That's absolutely correct. Absolutely correct. And I'm watching it now. You also say you some some money funding radical political change in cities and states. Right now we now know the names of the two ICE agents who killed. and I'm not going to give his names out there all over the internet right now but the leftist mobs the NGOs are in the business of destroying law enforcement it was to fund the police now it's to fund ice and now that the names are out there the agents who killed Alex Freddie I would imagine they're going to go through a living hell now because the radical left will make it so that's another problem Absolutely. Absolutely. I mean, we have to recognize that we're in a, you know, a civil war, if you will, a color revolution to destroy our country. And all these... radicals on the streets of Minneapolis and elsewhere are highly funded. They are organized and funded by people who want to destroy the United States. These are the useful idiots, you know. Look at all these people. They don't know, they don't know squads. They don't even know what they're protesting. You know, ICE gets demonized.

And that's all they know. ICE is bad. We've got to, you know, we've got to get in their face, stop their vehicles and kick them out of our city. They're only trying to enforce immigration laws that the American people voted for because Trump ran on a very clear platform of deportation of all these illegal... immigrants who came in our country during the four years of the Biden administration. Oh, and by the way, the vote, you know, we had vote fraud in the 220 election. Biden shouldn't have been president, but they wanted him. They knew that he was an empty suit. They knew he had early dementia. And they knew that they could do whatever they wanted once he was in office. And that's exactly what they did, opening the borders. unlimited amounts of illegal aliens coming into the country. Chaos. Chaos. People estimate that as many as 20 million people arrived during those four years. Chaos. Well, it creates chaos in our cities. It overloads our education system, our health care system to say nothing of causing redistricting because of the influx of the immigrants. They're people. They get counted. And so you can change. The districts, you can change the, you can create new districts. Well, you know, you all be Democrat, right? Because they can count on the, it's the Democrats that got them into America. They're going to vote for Democrats. And this is what's happened to our country, the last several elections. 15 of 16 have gone Democrat. You conclude your article, Scott Jerome Powell, the Federalist, by saying the following. Failure to deliver invisible ways on these three problem areas, which are fixing the integrity of our elections. and prosecuting democratic felonies and law and order in the cities will demoralize the Republican base and depressed voter turnout and put Republican congressional majorities at risk, which means that they're going to begin the impeachment proceeding 3.0 that would threaten the integrity and continuity of the country. So if the Republicans in the House of the Senate don't do. We will not. Right. We will not. We will not get to the next presidential election the same, you know. as we are right now. We have problems in our country, but the Trump administration is getting a lot done. It's good for everybody. Yes. Our economy is doing quite well. But if we don't keep majorities and prevent the Democrats from impeaching Donald Trump... We are, we're in big trouble as a country. Well, we got to run once again. It's at the Federalist.com. And what we get the government we deserve and to watch 60 minutes, to watch the media, constantly pound on Donald Trump. And they ignore the law and order in the major cities. They ignore.

The Democratic felony is not being prosecuted. They ignore the integrity of our elections. But we got to run, Scott Jerome Powell, it's everywhere. You and I, every now and then put out the clarion call. We got to, you got to embolden and incentivize the Republican base, having seen concrete results to come out of November, not to allow the leftists, the Soros crowd, overtake the country. We really got to run now. But once again, Scott Jerome Powell, thank you very much. Scott Jerome Powell, you're the best. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Let's continue. That guy's on the mark. And I see what's happening in my country. You and I speak quite often about it. You and me. You and me speak about it. But to watch the outcome of some of these elections, the Democratic base is not demoralized. They're energized. The Republican base is demoralized. And the Trump voters not coming out. But the main reason, in my viewpoint, that the Democrats are winning all these special elections is that the Democratic base is not demoralized, they're energized, they want to get out there and do, they want to get out there and vote against Donald Trump. And let's face it, they're doing it. And the Republican base is not motivated to get out there and to vote in favor of Republican principles and Donald Trump. And if that continues because the Republican base becomes somewhat demoralized, we're going to have the law of unintended consequences. In November, come January of next year, Hakeem Jeffries is going to be the Speaker of the House. Then all hell is going to break loose. You talk about the subpoenas and the investigation. It'll never stop. It'll simply continue unabated. And that's the name of that tune. It cannot happen. It should not happen. And it's happening because the Republicans are demoralized, but what they see is lack of Republican effort in the Congress, which, by the way, is not true. There's great Republican effort in the Congress. Look at the big, beautiful bill. Someone's not telling the whole story about what's happening in the country. And the media won't tell it. You've got to listen to podcast. Got to listen to Talk Radio to find out all the great things happening in Washington for youth that will not be known fully until this summer or this fall. You cannot sit in your hands and let the election go by because the world will change, and it's going to change in not a good way. It's going to change in an awful way if Donald Trump loses the House and or the Senate, especially if he loses the Senate and can't get his judicial nominees through. It's rumor is going to be one or two retirements on the U.S. Supreme Court. And let's face it. If the sentence is controlled by Chuck Schumer, there will be no action whatsoever and any federal court employee, especially the federal judges. Let's continue with more. And there seems to be an agreement that some of the criminal aliens who've committed felonies will be released to ICE instead of set out on the street, which should calm things down there a little bit. But as Americans, we have a much larger problem, which is our public school system. I saw out of Chicago, there's a habit of Chicago's Teachers Union to have dozens or more of its members go into a Target store. They don't like Target for some reason. They've got a target on them because of their retreatment from DEI, which is DIE, which is racial discrimination. And they want Target to make more contributions to teachers unions. And in Minnesota, Minneapolis, I wonder what happened to our schools? It appears that teachers and administrators and principals are scheduling walkouts all over Minnesota and Chicago and Los Angeles, whatever political issue happens, instead of dealing with the essential functioning of the school system, you know, reading, writing, and arithmetic, the academics, which have failed miserably. It appears something below the surface is occurring. Ryan Staley is with Defendingeducation.org. His column is written that's appeared in various publications. Ryan Staley, Director of Research for Defending Education, examines how K-12 protests are not isolated, but the downstream result of teacher training programs and university curricula that explicitly prioritized social justice over education and the protest culture, giving rise to the acronym awful, angry white female liberals. I know when I went to school, the Vietnam War was like going hot and heavy, but nobody would have thought of Deer Park High School or Xavier University to stage walkouts because you're protesting a government policy, but now it's a ride of passage. Once again, Ryan Staley, welcome to the Bill Cunningham show. So what is your research indicated about what's happening to the teachers, administrators, and principals in Minnesota, which is similar to many blue cities and blue states? Give us a full report. Yeah, thanks for having on again, Bill. Look, this is a massive, you know, social justice activist pipeline ecosystem that has been created over many, many decades going back to, you talked about the 60s and so forth. I mean, these are the same weather ground under, you know, weather underground people who, you know, got rid of their radical pose and went to the college of education.

And they slowly churn the thing into what we're seeing now in Minneapolis, specifically, which is... K-12 students being organized by, in some cases, their teachers. You talked about Chicago Teachers' Unions, but also these outside nonprofits that are coming in. And so you have College of Education training up teachers to be quite literally social justice activists. Portland State University, we've documented this with Minnesota State Mancato. We've documented this where, like, their primary function is to train. teachers to be social justice activists and then to go into and that's that in their in their communities and on top of that you have um curriculums being presented to to these districts under the guise of things like ethnic studies which is really they painted as culture and and uh history But when you pull apart those layers, it's a political program for far left activism. And so when you start to piece all these pieces and things together, what you end up with is this monstrosity that is actually in some regards funded by the state, or in many ways, funded by the state. And then you bring in these outside agitators like we expose the sunrise movement. These are adults. working for a nonprofit funded by, you know, large, large corporations like Arabella and Ford Foundation. And they come in and they're starting to train these children. to be activists and walk out of schools. And by the way, I know you mentioned that there's a kind of like a little bit of a lull in the storm there in Minnesota. Right. They're right now, this sunrise movement working with local students, K-12 and university, they're planning for monthly protests over ice. So like, in this, this month it could be ice. The next month, it could be back to Palestine. It could be Iran. I mean, you pick your poison. And so the thing is, it doesn't matter what the issue is. They, the sunrise movement, the teachers' unions, they've all made it very clear. This is about political power and nothing else. And it's not about Republican, conservative right to life. It's not about protesting the rape and murder of Lake and Riley or Jocelyn Nungare or Rachel Moran or Ruby Garcia. killed and raped by illegal aliens. That's a cause. How about children being killed in the womb through abortion? Now, there's a cause. It's always left-wing causes to keep the movement alive. They need dates. They need events. Got to get ready. It's Friday. It's time to march out. Time to protest. And we're not talking about high school seniors. I see in many public schools as first, second, and third graders who have to choose their gender.

You're asking a six or seven year old girl to identify as a girl or a boy to identify as a boy. It starts insipately. It begins early. And I would have to ask. What's the goal of having a first, second, or third grader, a six, seven, eight year old to be told by teachers, they sit there bright-eyed and they're ready to learn, and all of a sudden they've got to choose their gender, all of a sudden they're marching out of school to protest Donald Trump, and they're seven years old. And they don't start a senior in high school. They started in pre-kindergarten. And I want to go, I want to validate that because go back to the ethnic studies curriculum that Minnesota has passed into law that is to be put into K-12 all levels of academics. And this ethnic studies, again, the primary function is to train young children to be street student or social justice activists. And so you're actually correct. They are, they are. slowly integrating this in down into the youngest ages. We have a model lesson plan, by the way, of ethnic studies that teaches the students within their own classroom, that if people, if their fellow classmate is not adhering to the new ideology, they are to call them out. And so they are very much training these young, impressionable children. By the way, the same kids who believe that Santa Claus is real and the elf on the shelf is still real, right? And yet they're training them to be these activists, which is really far left political activism. And Bill, what was the last time you or I saw a school protest and they were protesting getting terrible educations? Because the majority of these kids... The majority of these kids that are walking out of schools, when I look at the data of their academic performances, it is always sub 50%. And there was a school in Georgia this last week. They had a 5% proficiency rate in mathematics. They are going after our most vulnerable children, and they're doing this to them. Well, to me, it must be stopped somehow. I referenced about a week or two ago, Senator Josh Hawley of Missouri had an OB-GYN physician, a doctor teaching medicine at an Kay Ivey League school. And this female was asked the question, can men get pregnant? So reality does not exist. The social construct is men can get pregnant and women have testicles. And so this went on for five or six minutes. Did you see the clip in which this OBGYN female teaching medicine at an Kay Ivey League school could not answer the question. Can men get pregnant? She refused to answer the question. So reality doesn't exist.

Yeah, this is very much about being politically correct, right? We're talking about the Soviet Union. We're talking about Maoism. And that's what we're seeing here is it's not about being actually, you know, biologically correct. It's not even about, it's no longer about seeking the truth. I mean, what were all the Kay Ivey Leaks founded on? Truth speaking. Veritas. Yes, correct. And it's no longer about that. It is about political correctness. And that's what we're seeing here. And that's what we're seeing with the ice stuff to kind of bring it back around. I mean, again, it doesn't matter if it's ice. It doesn't matter if it's the shooting by ice agents of those individuals. In Minnesota, it doesn't matter if it's Black Lives Matter. It just doesn't matter. It's about being politically correct. It's the pronouns thing that you mentioned. It's all the same thing when you really peel back the layers. And by the way, it's the same actors. It's the same people funding these things. It's the same leadership doing these things. And they just find a new thing to go after until they get political power. You have a powerful sentence in your opinion piece at Daily Wire, and you say the following. Minnesota State University's College of Education, they state this in writing their training Minnesota future teachers that the teacher training program at Minnesota State University vision is to, quote, inspire lifelong learning and professional engagement through racial consciousness, social justice, and inclusion. The program aims to, quote, prepare to be anti-racist practitioners by using critical race theory as a foundational framework focusing on privilege, oppression, systemic racism, and social justice activism. That is printed by the state of Minnesota to teach teachers how to teach. What the hell does that have to do with reading, writing, arithmetic, geology, geometry? What does that have to do with trigonometry, preparing one for calculus? What does any of that have to do with education? It's indoctrination. It's not education. And this is the state of Minnesota. And I ask you this question, Ryan Staley. Is Minnesota alone in doing this? No. Do you remember when Critical Race Theory was not in K-12 schools and it was actually a graduate school, a graduate law school thing? And that was, by the way, not too long. That was like a less than a year ago. I've seen that reiterated. This is everywhere. I already mentioned if you go to defending ed.org, you're going to find a report that we did on the colleges of education about a year or two years ago. And our feature one was actually Portland State, which to you and me is not a shocker, right? But this stuff is everywhere. It's everywhere in the colleges of education. By the way, for your listening audience, the higher up a teacher goes in their learnedness with the university. So master's degree and especially doctorate, it is a requirement that they are steeped in critical race theory and queer theory and all the critical theories and all that are junk that you want to throw in there. That is a requirement. But it's even subtler than that.

Bill, any school that's running equity, any school that has equity, and they talk about, you know, structural racism, that's critical race theory. That is founded in critical race theory because in order to bring about these policies, they have to discriminate based on race in order to bring about equal outcomes. There's no other way around it. And so this stuff is, it's permeates through our education system. And the fact that, you know, they, that Mancato talks about racial consciousness. So we, you know, we, I was raised very much in a time of color blindness. And, you know, we have now moved to, no, no, no, your skin color is the one of the most important things about you. That's where we're headed. And that's what we're teaching children in the schools now. And that's what we're seeing with Minnesota, with these ethnic studies curriculums, with these affinity groups that are everywhere. By the way, Minnesota also has a what's called a grow your own program where the state funds it. And we have already outed numerous schools where they only elect minority people apply for the job or for the for the scholarshiping. And yet everybody is out of control. It is absolutely out of control. Ryan Staley, they complain about racism while practicing racism. I have another report here on your column, University of Minnesota, Twin Cities, race, disability, gender, and sexual studies. It's called the Ridge Program, created and made publicly available. Ethnic Study Lessons Plans for K through 12 that are riddled with far-left audiologies. For example, a sixth grade lesson plan, six-graders, what was that, about 12 years old, catch them early, entitled, Protest Art and the Movement for Black Life. focuses on Black Lives Matter movements and how to create your own protest art for a cause of your choice. The multi-day plan reads like a revolutionary training program meant to prepare 11-year-olds for some yet to be determined protests. And so they're waiting for something to happen to call them out once again. And these ideologies have trickled out of the universities, K through 12, seven principles of DEI. As the academic failure continues to accelerate, as racism as practiced by liberal Democrats, we have failing public schools. I'm looking at this column put together by the minister in Chicago, who noticed that his own children were being radicalized. He said, Mayor Brandon Johnson, you have a city screaming for help. But instead of listening, you're fixated on ice raids, shielding illegal immigrants, showing solidarity with Minneapolis, and weighing in on foreign policy matters like Venezuela. While our own kids are being murdered in the streets, our streets run with the blood of our children in Chicago. Why have you allowed this to happen? And this is coming from a black minister in Chicago that says, why in the hell are you doing this to our kids when they get to the 12th grade because of social promotion?

Nobody fails anymore. You come out of school and capable of reading the diploma that you supposedly received. Colleges, if you go to college, you have to, hey, remedial freshman math to get ready. And then you go to a college like University of Minnesota, and you're racist determining whether or not you get to a fraternity, sorority, whether you can even go into a class, much like in the old South when the Democrats kept blacks from entering into classrooms. Now in Minnesota. Chicago, California, Illinois, you have to be of a certain color to be admitted to a program. Isn't that racism? Yeah, I don't know what else you call it. By the way, I want to, Pastor Brooks is an amazing man. I really encourage your audience to look him up and support the work that he's doing in his community because he is very much boots on the ground trying to change the community that he lives in. And he lives in a very tough community. I know Pastor Brooks pretty well. And what he talks about is actually correct these children. And I go back to, I already told you that. They're going after, these radicals are going after the most vulnerable communities because it's easy to whip them up and say, point the finger at external issues and say, those guys are the issues. Now, what we're talking about is really an external issue with the schools and everything. But it's easy to whip them up. And, you know, with the protest art part. It always reminds me of the cultural revolution in Maoist China in 1960s because what did Mao do? He went after the children and he got middle school kids, etc. And what was one of the big things they did there? They did protest art. They created these, they would put on the buildings and stuff and they would do giant struggle sessions with protest art. And they would, and that's how they went after their teachers. And that's going to be the, the really big thing here at some point. I'm waiting for these kids to start struggle sessioning their teachers. Right. Because they're not, you know, fill in the blank. And so. Radical. Yeah. And so this, this whole thing, if you want to zoom, you know, kind of zoom out is, is really they're using the children. to advance their political, far-left ideology, and they're using the schools, and they're destroying communities while they do it. Got to run, Ryan Staley, defending education.org, it's all there. We're warning the American people what the liberals and the NGOs are doing to us. And with the arrest of Don Lemon and his indictment, and by the way, I'm one of the few media types that read his indictment. And if what is alleged in the indictment is true, Don Lemon is going to have some serious problems. because he crossed the line between journalism and advocacy. And he may begin as a journalist, but he certainly advocated for the mob to go into a Christian church during his service and disrupted, which is, by the way, illegal by Minnesota. Minnesota's got a specific statute on this, that you can't do that. And secondly, the feds really have a statute called the Face Act, F-A-C-E. Joe Scarborough may say Faith, but I say Face Act, which provides serious felonies for those who disrupt Christian, Jewish, or Muslim services because of their alleged rights under the First Amendment. And, of course, Don Lemon, from Don Lemon's perspective, this has been great. In fact, he's been wine, dined, and pocketline to the Grammys and all other places because Don Lemon now is a hero of the left. But joining you and I now is Bill at Agostino. He's a senior research fellow with MRC Media Research Center. Also, newsbusters.org, chronicles the media bias. And Bill, once again, thanks for coming on the Bill Cunningham show. So let's kind of lay out for those who don't know Don Lemon. You have some pretty serious examples of his repertorial skills. Tell us who is Don Lemon and why is what he did illegal. Yeah, Don Lemon is the disgraced former CNN host who was relegated from a cushy primetime spot into a fairly awkward morning spot between Caitlin Susan Collins back when she was doing the morning show. And I believe it was Poppy Harlow, who's not with CNN anymore. But he was, he basically just...

He fell further and further and further while at CNN because everybody working there basically realized, okay, this guy's a nut, this guy constantly causes issues with his coworkers, and he doesn't have a whole lot to say other than just random, incredibly woke gobbledygook. And so when Chris Lick took control of CNN during that brief stint where he was running it, trying to clean out the worst actors at the network, Don was axed pretty quickly after that and didn't take too kindly to it. He started... going on a lot of different podcasts, really opening up the entire jar of wokeness all at once, really going incredibly deep into the whole race-baiting nonsense that you see somebody of these people do when there's no way left for them to really elevate themselves. And so all of that culminates with him storming into this church with a bunch of ice protesters, right? Because everything he's done since he left CNN has been... a part of this desperate bid for relevance. Don has never been an incredibly intelligent person, but it seems that he actually genuinely believes that the existence of the First Amendment means that he can. disrupt a church service, go in, shove a microphone in the face of the pastor, and lecture him about his own free speech rights. Well, the pastor is trying to do a service. So, like, I will say a lot of these people on CNN, MSNBC, what have you, MS now, I guess it's called now, are pretty disingenuous. But I truly believe that Don is as stupid as the character that he played on TV and now plays on podcast. And the other issue is this. The indictment was returned by a federal criminal grand jury. in which they had to find probable cause, at least two-thirds of the grand jury, had to believe by, at that point, it preponderance of the evidence, that serious felonies have been committed, including conspiracy, that by itself can carry up to 20 years in federal prison. And so this was not Todd Blanche, this was not Pam Bondi, this was not Donald Trump or JD Vance. This was a federal criminal grand jury in Minneapolis, Minnesota, that indicted Don Lemon. Am I correct about that? Yeah, you're absolutely correct. And a lot of the corporate media, at least the broadcast networks that we've been monitoring, would be scratching their heads at that because either they're unaware or they are choosing not to talk about it. It's incredibly unlikely to make it all the way through an evening newscast and see them mention it even a single time at this point. We're going to have a study on that coming out shortly once we've... once we've got a bit more data on it. But as it looks right now, they're basically unwilling to talk about the indictment, which to me suggests that that is the most damning piece of all of this, right, is everything that was in the indictment. And yeah, I mean, as you were alluding to, if you actually read through some of the allegations in there, it doesn't look good for him.

In fact, the allegations are tied to witness testimony before the grand jury. In fact, at one point during his presentation, Don Lemon is lecturing the pastor, the minister, and arguing with him near the pulpit. as the service is going on and there were children inside the church that were in fear for their life because they didn't know what the hell was going on you know churches have been shot up and they don't know who in the heck don lemon was nor the dozen or so with them including the most radical left-wing element of the George Soros party that they that the children themselves were or frightened by this. But your headline is ABC and CBS ignore Lemon being asked to leave by the church pastor. And so you have to look over all kinds of, explain that to the American people. Well, yeah, I mean, so that's really important context that you brought up there that I think is lost on a lot of people if you're not in that immediate, if you're not living in that immediate area as, say, like, a Christian, which is, yeah, there was a lunatic church shooter like a few months ago that killed several people. And so this massive group of... And it was a political thing. And so this massive group of political protesters come in and start yelling at people. They're also reportedly blocking the aisles, trying to prevent people from leaving. Some of them were following people out to their cars yelling at them. Right. So, yeah, if you're a family with like little kids in there, you're terrified for their lives, right? This is not just like an annoyance. Like, can we please finish the service? Like that, which even that is a... violation of the law, right? Even that is still a violation of the Face Act. But it goes further than that. There were people in there who were genuinely afraid for their lives. There are kids crying. You can see this in the live stream that Don Lemon took, right? I mean, that's the most remarkable part of all of this. That's what's so galling is that the guy streamed himself doing all of this and still firmly believes that he hasn't captured some of the most damning evidence against him that you could bring to the court. I mean, he has like hours of corroborating evidence just on this. on the stupid live stream of his. But at one point near the end, when he's when he's back outside, he says, yeah, you know, he remarks to the guy filming with him. He says, you know, a lot of these people look traumatized. And then he pauses for a bit. And then he says, well, you know, that, but that's, you know, that's kind of the point of protest. As if to say, yeah, we did this to traumatize people, right? I mean, how is that not the admission of guilt? Yeah, could you imagine if the shoe was on the other foot? Let's say mega hat wearing conservatives went into a mosque and began berating the imam during a service in a mosque by those wearing mega hats and not letting the Muslims leave the mosque in Minneapolis. What do you think Keith Ellison, the AG of Minnesota, would do with that one?

Oh, I'll do you one better. I mean, you'll, you say a mosque, but look, a mosque is at least still a place of worship, right? Let's go to one of the left's truly holy, truly holy institutions here. How about if you pray quietly outside of an abortion clinic, the holiest of all left-wing places, right? Well, it turns out that under a Democratic administration, you will go to prison for that. I mean, there were people who were prosecuted for doing exactly that. under the Biden administration. And so, I mean, like, if that is not, if that is not the clearest shoe on the other foot example. And again, they didn't storm into the clinic, right? They were, they were outside. They were outside the clinic. Side block. Right, right. But you're not allowed to express displeasure in the vicinity of an abortion clinic. That is a violation of the FACE Act somehow, but storming into an ongoing service in progress and accosting the pastor somehow that's not. Like, no, I'm sorry. Either if this doesn't lead to to some kind of serious prosecution or adjudication at least, I. I don't know what to say. I mean, it's truly a two-tier justice system at that point. Well, Bill Duggestino of Media Research Center, to take that a little bit further, I know Keith Ellison, the AG of Minnesota, has ruled that right to lifers on the public sidewalk cannot speak to women. I guess women have babies and normally not men. I'm not sure men can get pregnant. Maybe they can, maybe they can. But let's say a person who walks into an abortion clinic on the sidewalk cannot be counseled or spoken to by a right to lifer, of which I'm a proud member. You can imagine if that group of right to lifers had gone into the abortion clinic, into the offices, and started yelling, screaming, shouting, and obstructing an abortionist. What would happen? that would that be the death penalty in minnesota i can't conceive of that being permitted but uh but you know that's where we are i don't think they get to church or sorry i don't think they get to court i don't think they get to court i think that i think that Jacob Frey would probably call him the swat with live ammo right there and uh and take them out It's really, you know, it's at that level of intolerance, you know, it's insane. And so, yeah, I mean, again, this is, this is the starkest example that we have. It's a real one. It's a real thing that happened. People were actually prosecuted for this. And so I say again, you know, heads have to roll at a certain point. And we're about at that point now. And it looks like it's got to, it's got to be Don Lemon. Well, you also have on your website, ABC and CBS Nightly Newscasts did not report whatsoever on the Brooklyn Synagogue attack in which some derelict, some anti-Semite, took a vehicle, ran into a synagogue several times, and that wasn't news at all to ABC or CBS, correct?

Yeah, that's correct. And this is the CBS, the Trump Propaganda Network CBS that the media keep warning you about, right? Who, by the way, also in our last study looking at coverage of ICE in Minnesota, actually we're the most negative on ICE of the three networks, right? So don't believe anybody when they tell you that CBS has suddenly become full MAGA because they have a heck of a lot of work to do just as they always have if they want to get back to resembling a news network. Bill Maher recently has had more lucid moments than in the past, but Bill Maher compares Alex Prittie's shooting to the Holocaust. You also have Stephen Colbert on his failing CBS evening show saying he would compare what happened to those two people in Minneapolis being good and the pretty as victims, but he said it's not fair to the Nazis to compare them to ICE, that the Nazis are much worse. And the audience kind of laughed. The Holocaust is not funny, but I assume his audience has no idea what he's talking about. The Holocaust, which was sadly, Buchenwald and Auschwitz were freed approximately 80 years ago. But the audience is CBS, and he wanted to make a joke of the fact that ICE agents are worse than the Nazis. Then you have the prosecutor in Philadelphia. That clown talking about Nernberg trials. When all this is said and done, we're going to hunt you down wherever you are. We will find you and you will be prosecuted in the future if you're law enforcement. That's the level of discourse. Now, that is extreme rhetoric that someone should address. So if CBS supposedly the brand new network, Stephen Colbert, said it's not fair to compare ICE to Nazis. The Nazis were much better. Right, right. And I mean, so if you look at, if you look at the rhetoric of all of these people, it becomes very clear that basically what's going on with the politically activated left right now is there's basically no ideas anymore, right? It's not about knowing things and believing things. It's about, it's about just the writhing mob and its fury and the left trying to direct its fury at whatever causes it once destroyed. by whatever means necessary. I mean, that's the only explanation for this rhetoric, because none of the people that you just quoted can possibly actually believe what they are saying. They know that they're not. This is red meat. This is red meat for the idiots who listen to them and believe that they're serious and turn to them for their opinion making. Right. I mean, that's really what this is. And so if that's what pandering is, right? If there is a side who, in order to pander to them, you have to say people enforcing basic immigration laws that have been on the books for decades are literally worse than Nazis. If that's how you pander that group of people, then we're kind of at a pretty dark place as a country where it's like you can't really do politics with people who think like that anymore. Right. Basically, all they understand is power, and all they want is to brutally wield that power against anybody who stands in their way, anybody who basically draws the ire of the mob. And so it really does fall to the news media, to the politicians, et cetera, to, and here's a term they love using all the time, not anymore, though, it seems, to turn down the temperature a little bit. Because the boss that they have riled up is...

is so out of control that when it turns on them it will consume them more quickly than they can imagine right i mean it's it's remarkable you you you can't really have a functioning political system with a with this large of a hateful ignorant destructive force Lastly, you have a call, Scott Jennings. I've had him on a couple times from Kentucky. Good guy. CNN staffers revolt due to inability to tolerate Scott Jennings on CNN. I thought it's only a matter of time. Scott Jennings makes too much sense. Get rid of him. Get rid of Scott Jennings. How long will he be at CNN? Yeah, I mean, there it is right there, right? See, I don't know if they actually will get rid of him because the amount of interest that he generates in CNN Newsnight with Abby Phillip by showing up every night and explaining to her exactly how basic laws work, how basic principles work, et cetera, to her and her panel of... generally left-wing activists and morons. There's even rarely somebody who claims to be a journalist on there with her at this point. But he has generated so much interest in that show that I don't think they can let him go, at least from a financial standpoint. Right. I mean, and that's the thing about all of these networks is when you talk about, like, what is CNN or what is CBS or any of them? It's, well, there's the people running it who actually want it to be a profitable business. And then the politically active people there are usually, it's more the hosts. It's the journalists. It's the producers. It's the slightly lower level people. And so that's how you get events like this, right? Where basically CNN staff are rallying against their leadership and demanding that they make. an unwise business decision because their sensibilities were offended because the CNN staff are are members of this of this colossal mob this is this is the mob eating its own right there and so will will CNN's leadership case it's it's a solid question I don't think that they will without um without Abby Phillips numbers going down more, without Scott Jennings threatening to leave and go somewhere else. I mean, I'm not really sure what the future holds for Scott, whether he'll be at CNN or somewhere else, but wherever he does end up. I think that he's already made enough of a name for himself, that somebody's going to pay him a lot of money to keep speaking his mind and telling the truth. I'd like to see him run for the U.S. Senate seat of occupied by Mitch McConnell, who completely lost his way in Kentucky. I'd love that. I suspect you're not alone in that. Bill Cunningham, the Great American, of course, the First Amendment has been used improperly by leftist groups for a very long time. The First Amendment does not allow someone to go on to someone else's property and protest, scream, holler, and shout. In fact, a couple nights ago, the Hilton hotels in New York City were besieged by dozens of so-called anti-ice agitators, and they thought they had their First Amendment right to go into a hotel lobby and make a fool of themselves. It happened over Martin Luther King Jr. Holiday where some individuals thought they had the right to protest inside of a Christian church during the service. You know, you have the right to practice your religion, but government doesn't have to build you a church to do it. You have the right to protest, First Amendment, freedom of speech, but not on someone else's property. And I think that's often lost by the left. Jim Jordan, you and I now is Zach Smith. He's with the Heritage Foundation who's written on the subject. First Amendment freedoms are sacrosanct, especially the right together together and worship God. But, but, Zach Smith, welcome again to the Bill Cunningham show. Zach, can you tell the American people what the so-called agitators and rioters are misusing the First Amendment in Minneapolis, plus a few other locations? Yeah, of course. Well, thanks so much for having me on the show, Bill. Look, what happened a couple of weeks ago in St. Paul and Minneapolis is absolutely horrendous, particularly you mentioned those agitators going into a house of worship, disrupting the church service, making children, other parishioners who were attending that service, scared, fearful for their own safety. That is not a First Amendment protected right. And in fact, what those agitators did and what I argued in my daily signal article, which you can find on my X feed at TZ Smith, that's at TZ Smith, what they did is actually illegal under both Minnesota state law and under federal law. Now, unfortunately, local Minnesota officials, particularly the Minnesota AG, Keith Ellison. He not only is not going to prosecute those educators, he actually defended their actions, saying they had a First Amendment right to do that, which, of course, it's just nonsense. No, absolutely not.

Keith Ellison knows, he's a lawyer, right? The Attorney General of the state of Minnesota is saying that Catholic Masses, religious services can be besieged and stopped by protesters calling themselves First Amendment to absolutists. How wrong is that? That is ridiculous. Well... How much time do we have, Bill, because that's how wrong and how absurd that opinion is. And look, I think it's doubly shameful when you compare the fact that about a few days after Keith Ellison was essentially defending the actions of these agitators, he didn't turn around and was in federal court, arguing that all ICE agents should be kicked out of Minnesota, which of course is another nonsense legal position. I think the hypocrisy of the local Minnesota, Minneapolis, St. Paul officials have really been on full display over the past few weeks. And what happened in that church in St. Paul is absolutely unacceptable. And all Americans should be horrified by it. So the chief law enforcement officer of Minnesota said it's okay. for agitators in the middle of a religious service to go on to their property inside a church as the Bible's being read and the chief law enforcement officer Keith Ellison in Minnesota said that's okay with him do I got that right Well, he essentially said they had a First Amendment right, or at least some of those agitators had a First Amendment right to do that. And of course, again, that is not right. And again, what's doubly shameful, Bill, is those agitators actually broke Minnesota state law. And yet, to my knowledge, there hasn't been, and I doubt there will be any prosecutions under those state laws for their offenses. Well, even the Hennepin County local prosecutor said no. And this comes on the heels. of other activities in most American cities. I live in a little Cincinnati, Ohio, and you have large numbers of individuals in Cincinnati and in Covington, where I live, Covington, Cincinnati. actually believing that federal law does not apply in Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana, or anywhere. Federal law says that the ICE has the responsibility of enforcing federal laws because the states cannot do it. Constitutionally, they can't do it. And so you have large numbers of individuals essentially saying, as the Confederate said in the 1840s and 50s, we're going to secede from the union because we don't want federal law to apply. And then we had the Civil War. Then after that, the Democrats in the South would lynch and black folks, would rape black women, would burn down their churches. That was the Ku Klux Klan. They were all Democrats. And then we went through the desegregation phase in the 30s, 40s, and 50s. And you had Orval Fobbus, you had George Wallace Democratic governors saying federal law doesn't apply here.

We don't want black kids to be educated with white kids. And then Eisenhower got involved with Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and Johnson and stopped it. Do you see historical parallels to what's happening in Minnesota and many other locations with the traditional democratic approach of ignoring federal law except when it's to their betterment? Well, I think what's been so unfortunate and so dangerous is the incendiary, very heated rhetoric that people like Minnesota's governor, Tim Walz have been using, Minneapolis's local mayor has been using. Keep in mind, the Minneapolis mayor at a press conference said that I need to get out of his city, except he used very vulgar, very crude language trying to make. that point. And I think whenever you have that overheated, very incendiary rhetoric, that is not helping anyone. That is not helping the situation. And it's inflaming a lot of the very radical individuals on the left who are seeking to prevent ICE from being able to do their jobs and enforce federal law. And at least you've seen Tim Walz, others slightly backing off some of their more extreme positions, more extreme rhetoric over the past few days. I hope that continues, although I have my doubts. But certainly that type of heated language is not helpful. And in fact, it can be and is very dangerous. You have in your column, Zach Smith of the Heritage Foundation, the following. Minnesota statute. 609.28. Quote, interfering with religious observance makes it a misdemeanor or a gross misdemeanor punishable up to one year in jail and a $3,000 fine if someone uses threats, violence or physically obstructs or disrupts religious services. Isn't that exactly what happened on that Sunday Martin Luther King? And that exactly what the protesters did. They violate not just federal law. the face act which is a serious crime but they also violated specific Minnesota statutes that were created by Minnesota itself to stop the activity now defended by the Attorney General explain that to the American people Yeah, I think that's exactly right. And I think it's really inexplicable. Again, the charges have not yet been filed against these individuals under Minnesota law. Now, you mentioned the FACE Act. I think it's worth pausing for just a second to talk about that federal law. It was a federal law that was originally passed by Congress originally intended to protect individuals who were seeking out abortions. You know, there had been a series of abortion clinic bombings. other threats against abortion providers. And so Congress was seeking to criminalize a lot of that conduct. Now, unfortunately, what we saw during the Obama and Biden administrations, they weaponized the FACE Act in a lot of ways. And we're charging with federal offenses, serious federal offenses, individuals who are simply praying outside of abortion clinics, individuals who are offering pro-life counseling services to women who were going into those clinics seeking to kill their unborn children. And so there was a weaponization of it.

But what doesn't get talked about enough, part of the FACE Act, part of the compromise that Congress struck when they passed that law was they also said it would be illegal. It would be a federal offense essentially to threaten or interrupt or interfere with a religious service or defaced or damage, a house of worship. Now, that provision typically has not been enforced, but you see Hermit Dillon, Attorney General Pambandi, pledging to enforce the FACE Act against these agitators there in Minnesota. So we have clear violation criminally of not just federal law, but also state law. You have in your column, Minnesota statute 609.605. This is simply criminal trespass. And it's a misdemeanor, punishable by up to three months in jail, $1,000 fine, if someone enters or remains on private property without consent. Very simply, it doesn't have to be a House of Worship. Someone's got the right under the First Amendment to speak. They don't have the right to speak on your property. So employers are not covered generally by the First Amendment. Because if you work on someone else's private property, First Amendment doesn't mean at work, if you're working for Apple or you're working in a grocery store, that doesn't mean you can protest inside the grocery store because that's private property. And so the other week, a few days ago. When large numbers of individuals went into a Marriott Suites Hotel outside of Minneapolis in the suburbs, they went inside there, broke out the windows, spray painted inside the facility, and stayed there. They thought they had the right to do that. They thought, okay, this is the First Amendment. No, it's not. Explain why that is not the First Amendment, and it's a miscarriage of justice. It's a... It's a refutation of one's oath of office, not to prosecute those individuals. Now you got me all pissed off, Zach Smith. I'm saying right now that cannot be the, I'm a lawyer. I've been to the AG in the state of Ohio. You cannot protest on Mohammed bin Salman's property, much less at church. Can you smell what I'm cooking? I can. And, you know, I tend to have that effect on people. They shouldn't have upset. But you're right to be upset in this case. And you're absolutely right. What you described to that hotel, that is not First Amendment activity. That is vandalism. Now, you're right. The First Amendment is designed to protect us as citizens from having the government try to silence our speech or censor or tell us what we can or cannot say. The government cannot do that. But in terms of a First Amendment right to speak on private property, to interrupt or interfere with the business or home life of anyone else or the worship service, no, of course that is not protected by the First Amendment. The pastor of that church there in St. Paul, the city's church is the Southern Baptist congregation. He said that the conduct of these protesters were shameful in interrupting the church service, terrifying the parishioners there. And he is exactly right. What they did is not protected speech. The First Amendment protects peaceful protest, peaceful expression of ideas and viewpoints. What those agitators did is not peaceful, and it was not on government property either. Well, I'm looking at the Face Act, and I have been on radio long enough to remember in 1993 and 1994, you know, to the liberals, abortion is a sacrament.

Killing unborn babies is what many Democrats believe abortion clinics. That's what happens. So the FACE Act was argued in the Congress. Democrats were in charge at that point, 93-94. Because of the filibuster, the Republicans would not vote simply to stop individuals from using force, threat of force, or obstructing, to injure, intimidate, or interfere with anyone obtaining an abortion. But the Republicans had put in, or this is the big OR. or exercising their First Amendment rights at places of religious worship. That's equally in the federal law that you cannot go into a church, a mosque, and a synagogue, and conduct a protest inside. It carries as little as six months in jail, sometimes up to five years in jail. And so federally, every person that went into that church committed a federal offense and a state offense. Is there any way on God's green earth that as citizens we can force the Hennepin County? and or Keith Ellison to file criminal charges under Minnesota statutes. Is that possible? I don't know if it's possible to force them to file charges, but I think it goes to show that elections have consequences. And who are wielding the power of those very important offices really matters. You know, I'm a former prosecutor myself as well. I've written a lot about rogue prosecutors, progressive prosecutors around the country. The Henneman County DA is certainly one. Keith Ellison certainly doesn't share my view of the role of an attorney general, the role of a prosecutor. And so I think Minnesota citizens are learning firsthand in real time that who wields the power of those offices matters a great deal. And unfortunately, in this case, both the local and state prosecutors are failing to do their duties and seek justice when Minnesota's laws have been violated. Now lastly, recently, the president sent Tom Homan. the immigration czar, who was given great awards by Barack Hussein Obama for deporting 55 million illegals in America. Barack Hussein Obama put around the neck of Tom Homan, a big civilian award thanking him for what he was doing. Here we are a few years later. Now the left wants to indict Tom Homan, but I regress. Tom Homan is in Minneapolis meeting with Fry, I guess Allison and Wals. And the president Trump says one thing about the meeting. And then Jacob Frye came out the other day and said, we're not going to pay attention to that. We're not going to allow federal felons who are illegally here in our city jail to be put into custody of ICE to be deported because I don't want to support ICE. This is a clear violation of federal law. So I would assume this is a political stand. And the reason this happens, Jacob Frey believes that the citizens and voters of Minneapolis and Minnesota.

like what he's doing. They want that to happen. I can imagine Keith Ellison and the Somali crowd, that they want to keep the same people in power because they benefit on one hand electorally and on the other hand financially. I think the real investigation here is going to be to follow the money. How did Elon Musk Omar? Now, I don't want anything thrown on her at any point, and I think the guy that did it should be fully prosecuted, but that's a different point. But she went from nothing. to being worth $30 million. And she used her position in Congress and make that happen. Well, look, we got to run. You got me fired up. I don't know what to say. But, uh, well, thank you for having me on the show. Zach, all I can say is you've laid out in your story exactly the laws violated by the agitators and the authorities won't prosecute. And I can only imagine, can you imagine that these were pro-life demonstrators who were going in front of abortion clinics with guns? and disobeying lawful orders getting in the face of women wanting to kill their unborn babies and they block the access and disrupt the clinic's work what do you think would happen to pro-life demonstrators in minnesota if they did the same thing as the agitators in the streets what would happen to them Well, I suspect they would be and should be fully prosecuted if they broke the law. But unfortunately, that's not happening with these agitators, and it's a miscarriage of justice. Well, you know, we get the government we deserve, Zach Smith, and we get a government. I can't imagine the circumstances right now of living in Minneapolis, what they're going through. And the voters, I guess the voters want this to happen. The Democrats want the protest to continue. The Democrats are benefiting politically. They can't talk about their policies that have failed. They can't talk about the southern border. They can't talk about the lack of law enforcement. They can't talk about the lack of recruitment of cops don't want to go in the departments anyway. They have to talk about something. And so politically, I'll ask you a 30-second question. Politically, this is outside your bailiwick. politically are democrats benefiting from this or will the voters understand what's going on give me a full report Well, look, I do policy, not politics. I joke my crystal ball is cloudy when it comes to the political machinations of local leaders. But what I can say is what Tim Walz, what the Minneapolis mayor, what they are doing is dangerous. It is making it more difficult for federal law enforcement officers to do their jobs. It is putting their lives, their bodies at risk as they try to perform their duties. And that is unacceptable.
