The news this morning was that another round of negotiations was going to begin, and the delegation was not going to include Vice President JD Vance. And if you were watching this this morning, then you know the Secret Service was talking about their security concerns with the Vice President of the United States going to Islamabad, Pakistan. And so the news broke a little bit earlier tonight that JD Vance, this time, is going to lead the delegation to Islamabad, and we will see what these negotiations bring. Of course, the Democrats and the pundits and those who hate Trump are all saying that this is going to fail, that there is going to be nothing but failure. And they have been saying that since they won. And it really makes you think what side. And it seems to me. And I want to ask you this, the American people. Do you think that the pundits, the Democrats, the media is rooting for America to fail in this effort to bring Iranian leadership to heal, to make sure that they do not have access? and that they are not able to use a nuclear weapon because you can ask any expert, and they will tell you that if Iran and the leadership in Iran, not the current leadership, because they're all dead now, but if Iran under the radical leadership that they have been under, if they have anything like that, they get their hands on a nuclear weapon, then it's game over. That cannot happen. And for so long now, Democrats and others have told us how dangerous this is, that they have been enriching uranium, that they may have a nuclear weapon. So it can't happen. So we will talk with Colonel Westmartin about that. And then my buddy Curtis Halk of newsbusters.org will join us and we'll talk about the, again, how poorly served you, the American people are when it comes to media coverage in this country. You know, there used to be a saying years ago that politics ends at the water's edge. But, of course, that saying is not true anymore. I don't know. Who was the first to violate that? I don't know if it was a Republican and Democrat or someone else. And this was not a hard and fast rule, but there used to be certain handshake agreements or gentlemanly agreements. in politics. And politics ended at the water's edge. That meant that if you were overseas, you didn't go overseas and you didn't bad mouth, even though you may have profound disagreements with the president or the administration. But when you went overseas, we were all on the same team. We were all Americans. We wanted what was best for America. And you really have to ask yourself if that is true anymore. And one of the latest to engage in.

And I'm never going to let this go. He said, we have all the evidence. I can announce on your show. We've got all the information. We're working with our prosecutors at the DOJ and the Attorney General Todd Blanche. We're going to be making arrests. And it's coming. He says, I promise you, it's coming soon. Well, Kash Patel, that's great. That is great. Make the arrests. Get the prosecutions rolling. But arrests are one thing, real consequences are another thing. I'm getting pretty tired of all the promises, of all the justice that is going to be served, all the things that are going to be made right that were so wrong under the previous administration. We've heard this since the beginning of this administration that people were going to get stuff done. That's why Pam Bondi isn't around anymore. She promised and promised and promised that things were going to get done and what got done. Well, not very much of anything. I look at the anti-fraud task force that is being headed up by JD Vance and he's working closely with Dr. Mehmet Oz in that. They have suspended 447 hospices in Los Angeles alone. Dr. Oz was on Fox News talking about this the other day. He said, you know what? We stopped payments to 450 hospices in California. Guess how many of those hospices have gotten back with the federal government asking for their money to be restored? Because they have. They have customers, they have clients, they have patients who need that money. Guess how many have called? Zero. Zero, zip, not a, not a single one out of 440 hospices that have been cut off from government money. $750 million in fraud. That is getting something done. And that's another question that I want to ask you, the American people. Are you like, I suspect there are very many people? who are like me. It's great. I want to hear that you are doing this work to bring people to justice who need to be brought to justice, who are doing things that they shouldn't have been doing. But like so many American people, I am sick and tired of hearing the promises and not seeing any results. It has gone on far too long. So Kash Patel, I love you. I love me from Kash Patel. They didn't learn the lesson from those two bombings on the train in 2004. I remember that. Sure. Yeah. Yeah.

And the Democratic Party should be talking about affordability. Instead, they're wasting time criticizing the Iran war. It's ridiculous. They would not be doing this in 1944. Well, I don't know. It's great. If Spain wants to have a conference and it's all a bunch of leftists and liberals getting together, by all means, go ahead, go there, have a great time, knock yourself out. But is it too much to ask, though? If you are an American, you can at least go there and you can root for the home team. You can pool for the home team. You can talk about the virtues and the greatness of America. But for people like Tim Walz and there was a whole bunch of other people who were there, that is obviously too much to ask. Because Tim Walz wasn't the only one that was unloading on Trump. while he was in front of, I don't know how many friends he had. I know he's got a lot of friends in China because he made a lot of trips to China. So, you know, I don't know how many friends he has in Spain. But he's over there just letting Trump. And what an idiot. Dancers, the sober, yeah. What an idiot. You know what I mean? This guy has got a just massive fraud. going on right under his nose. He's got all the stuff he talked about when, remember when he became the vice presidential nominee and all this stuff about his service record came up? It was so stupid because he served honorably in the military. And you don't have to try to enhance or pretend that if you didn't see combat, then no one holds that against you. But when you go out and you act as if you did see combat and you try to perpetrate that lie, I mean, that exposes a major character flaw and we dodged a bullet by this guy not being vice president. Yeah, great points, Dan. Edward, I appreciate the phone call. Edward, thank you very much for that. Let's see. Then we go, let's go to Cleveland and say hey to Mark. Mark, you're on the Bill Cunningham show, the Sunday night Bill Cunningham show. How are you, Mark? I'm doing great. You're doing a nice job taking care of the great Bill Covingham. So I hear what you're saying about Tim Walz, but I'm sure your audience already knows that someone like Tim Walz is a very low- IQ, low-functioning human being. We saw him on the trail with Kamala Harris. It was a complete joke, but I think, in my humble opinion, it's more important to focus on the traders within the Republican Party. For example, Tucker Carlson. or Tucker Carlson, as they call him, Candace Owens, and people like that who have completely turned against our country are mocking Trump, mocking the war, have become openly anti-Semitic, and not just anti-Israel, it's actually anti-Semitism. I've studied it.

And these people are a total disgrace. And if they ever showed up at any Republican event like Deepak or anything like that at this point, I would say that anyone who goes to those events is guilty also. They should be dishonored completely. Well, Mark, let me ask you this. Let me ask you this. When you talk about Tucker Carlson, and I have... I followed this story from pretty much at arm's length. I don't get into all the details of it. I have the talk shows that I do here. I have mentioned it on the periphery a little bit. I really haven't dug all that deep into it. And I ask myself, how much influence does a guy like Tucker Carlson really have? I think it is an absolute shame what has happened to Candace Owens. I think Candace Owens was at one time. Just an unbelievably bright light in the conservative movement in Republican politics. But she seems to have gone off the deep end now, especially after the death of Charlie Kirk. And it seems like every time I see her mentioned in the news or on the feeds that I get, she is always badmouting his widow, Erika Kirk. And I just don't understand what she hopes to accomplish there. So it is very sad to see that these, and Megyn Kelly, I was a big fan of Megyn Kelly. I don't know why they are doing what they do. And I just haven't really taken the time to get into all the information and get into everything that they've said. And I just asked myself, how much influence do you think they really have? The scary part about it is, and I know that the numbers are, you know, a lot of bots and things like that. But if you look at the top 20 podcasts, I believe... Or top 25, I believe Candace and Tucker Carlson are still in the top 25, at least on the server that I use, which is, I think, the Apple Podcasts. But, I mean, there's many of them. And a lot of those numbers are fake because a lot of those numbers, number one, are bots. And number two, I'm sure there's people from all over the world that are listening to him. He's become a, you know, basically anyone who hates Trump or hates... or hates Jews, loves Tucker Carlson. So he's probably got a very big following internationally with that crowd. All right. Well, Mark, I appreciate the phone call. We got to run. But Tucker Carlson, that used to be required viewing for me every night at 8 o'clock. And then he went on into the Internet world and started doing this thing online. And I just really haven't kept up with that much since then. The phone number is 866-647-337. Ilhan Omar is, well, it appears she's made some accounting mistakes. I guess all the things that she is, she's not an accountant. So Ilhan Omar has put a statement out. But apparently it looks to me like it's just another tale, another lie. I mean, Democrats for as long as I can remember have believed that the people who vote for them are really little more than useful idiots. Every time an election cycle comes around, what do they do? They pander to the poorest of the poor. to the most powerless among us. They promised to do great things on their behalf. Got to vote Democrat. Get out there and vote. I've seen these idiotic videos that are out there now. And you've got grown men. Grown men all swaying back and forth and they're singing these songs. I almost, Danny Boy, you're going to be glad I didn't bring that video in. that audio because you don't want that, you don't want that stupid, stupid song stuck in your head. That would be a terrible thing. I could. And I was thinking about that. I said, look how dumb this is. Look how stupid these guys look. And I thought, no, I don't want to play that because I don't want to inflict that on the American people. But it's the way Democrats. treat people who vote for them, and not just the people who vote for them. They really feel this way about all of the American people. So when the election cycles come around, they're out there in the neighborhood, they're shaking hands, hey, vote for me, I'm going to do great things for you. And then once they're in office, it's see you later. They show up to the occasional ribbon cutting or to put up a pride flag, bring a big check from Washington to pay for some project. like to pretend they're making the difference in people's lives. But time, we have seen it time and time and time again when they get caught in a moment, in an unguarded moment, when that curtain gets pulled back just a little bit. Maybe there's an open mic somewhere. If you listen to them, you know that they consider most of, most of their constituents. and a majority of American people to, well, we're just below them. That's where the term flyover country came from. The East Coast, the West Coast, that's what mattered. Everything else in between doesn't matter. We get in it, we're bi-coastal. We get in an airplane, we fly over that part of the country. Don't need to deal with those people down there who vote for us. So it is in this mindset. And in this spirit, in which Ilhan Omar believes that she can make the following declaration about her personal wealth. So Ilhan Omar disclosed last year that she and her husband held assets of between $6.30 million. Yeah, that's a pretty nice chunk of change right there.

a massive rise in wealth from her previous filings. So that triggered their question amongst people like me, people who look at this, some Republicans, some of her colleagues in Congress, where did that money come from? How did that happen? Well, now they've got an amended filing, according to the Wall Street Journal. And it shows the assets of her and her husband to be between $18,000 and $95,000. So at one point, and I believe one of their assets was a winery. They had, you know, the Omar's, they'll hunt Omar's out there making wine. And now she is claiming that her assets are between $18,000 and $95,000. Just a multi-million dollar accounting mistake. She believes that you and me and the people that vote for her are so stupid that we're going to buy this line. And I guess she'll take some of the heat off of herself because there's a lot of people in Congress who want to see her investigate. They want to know where that money came from. How was she able to do that? So we'll see what happens with this. The difference between $30 million and $95,000. Just an oversight. Just an accounting error. I'm not an accountant. I'm just a poor Somalian refugee. Let's go to Paul in Michigan. Paul, are you believing the story that Ilhan Omar is putting out there that we made a $29 million accounting error? No, I think that she made a mistake when it came to all the billions that were lost. And you know what? I think she's got a good accountant. to where she knows how much she made. And, you know, we're going to get into this slush fund and all this other stuff that the Democrats have a way. I think she's another one like Eric Swalwell that Nancy Pelosi was probably had under the umbrella, so to speak. And now everything's falling down for them. But, Dan, first of all. Again, I can say this. Bill Cunningham, I hope you're doing well. Dan, my second time talking to you. And, you know, great Americans, we have to stand up for what's going on. Tim Walz is in Spain. It's a refuge for him the same way Spain did not want to support us in the Iran conflict. And then... You know, then we got Amy Coney Barrett, can't define a woman. And I'm wondering with all of these scientists that, you know, we're missing now. And I'm wondering if the Democrats are like the Nazis back in their scientific experiments and all they're doing. She can't define a woman because they really know that there's scientists on their own behalf trying to make a man have a baby, Tim Walz, getting ahead of it.

wants to put the tampons in, you know, children can't even have a baby at that age up until 14. And this is where the Democrats are way off the rails here. They're scientists. They're just, they're not right. This is not a country that can put up with this stuff anymore. Well, Paul, it's the Democrats like to say that it's the Republicans who are out of touch with mainstream America. According to the Democrats, the majority of Americans. want all this DEI nonsense. They want our kids indoctrinated with this in school. Zohran Mamdani is out there talking about how he's going to start these daycares. And he said the other day, every child in New York City who is two years old is going to come to these daycare centers. What do you think that Zohran Mamdani wants to teach these kids starting at two years of age in these daycare centers? What possibly could be on, you know, in their curriculum and the things that they want to teach these kids? These type of formative years, you know, growing up, I just wanted to have a good day, you know, with my parents. They taught me right. I think it's a great American. Bill Cunningham would agree that we have to stick with this motto that we believe in Jesus Christ, our savior, and it's not a savior that the Democrats are trying to force upon us. It's just not real. And things have turned so terrible in this country. that if we don't have great Americans like you, Bill Cunningham, and all of our great listeners out here, we need to just keep speaking up about this and just, you know, and like you said, though, too, there's some Republicans. I don't know if the Democrats have something over their heads, but these Republicans got a false step in line with the fact that we are a Judeo-Christian country, and we still believe that God is supreme, not the Democrat Party. Paul, thank you very much for that phone call. I appreciate that. And once again, it's John Fetterman, the Democrat who is continually making the most sense out there. He was on Fox News the other day. And he was talking about the Democrat Party. And he said it's almost like the media and the Democrats were gleeful when Iran took the straight of Hormuz. And he looks at these Democrats and he says, I don't understand why my party. just can't see that there have been a lot of good developments through these things. These good these things. He says, I don't, he says to pulverize the Iranian military. And so John Fetterman is, at least he has the ability to look at the facts and speak truthfully to issues. And the last caller there also makes another good point that there are plenty.

of Republicans, and you can call them rhinos if you want, who for whatever reason are stabbing Donald Trump in the back. And I just can't see why that would happen, especially when you have an issue like the Save America Act. And you look at all the polling, 80 plus percent of Republicans are in favor of this. 75 percent of Democrats are in favor of this. those who consider themselves to be independent. That number is near 80% or maybe in excess of 80%. And yet we can't get the Save America Act to ensure that, or at least try to ensure that only American citizens vote in elections. Called me and asked me to do the show, and I said I'd be more than happy to do it. So here I am. We were talking earlier. The previous caller mentioned the number of scientists that have died under mysterious circumstances or disappeared. Kash Patel, when he was on with Maria Barteromo talking about that today as well. He said, that the FBI is announcing they are launching a major investigation into these mysterious deaths and disappearances, nearly a dozen high-level U.S. scientists with access to top-secret classified information. And it seems to me that it's, I don't know why it has taken this long to get the ball rolling on this. Butel revealed that President Trump was recently briefed on the case. and that the FBI is now centralizing the investigation across multiple jurisdictions to identify patterns, connections, the classified material, and possible involvement by foreign actors. He says these missing and killed scientists and former professional members of the Department of Energy vary in a wide range and where they were working most importantly with our state and local partners. who have jurisdiction in each of these cases. So they're at least bringing some FBI resources to bear on the deaths of these individuals. And it just seems unusual that there would be so many. The total has reached 11 with at least one representative, Eric Burleson, demanding a full federal investigation. And he says it is too coincidental to ignore. And you've got all these scientists working on these sensitive projects, rocket propulsion, nuclear fusion, tracking asteroids, missile technology.

Yeah, this, and to my way of thinking, should have been more of a front burner issue a long time ago. Let's go back to Cleveland and we'll say hello to John. Then we've got Ronnie in Arkansas. I was just, I was just calling in about the Tucker Carlson situation. Are you following that very closely? Yeah. I tell you what it did. It made me open up my Bible. It really did, you know, because I want to know. I mean. Nobody, the problem I have with people attacking Tucker Carlson is that nobody is answering the questions that he's asking. He's just asking several questions like, is it just one nation that gets into heaven? Or is it just everybody? I mean, Christians, it's fair than the Bible, Jews, Gentiles, and Christians, right? That's all he's asking. But for him asking that, he's anti-medic. I don't keep up with Tucker Carlson. Well, I have not been keeping up with this podcast, so I don't know the questions that he's asking. And I've heard, and I wish I could speak more intelligently on this issue, but I just really haven't followed it all that closely. But what I've heard is that he has come out. And there was a time. when he was very fair with President Trump. And apparently he is attacking him at every turn these days. I don't know if that's true. But I'm just saying that's what I've heard reported about him. But I just... As I look at it, I've got enough work to keep me busy getting ready to be on the Bill Cunningham show. I do my own shows during the week. I've got enough. I've got to, and I think most Americans have enough in their own lives that they really don't follow. I know there's a, there's a whole group that follows this stuff religiously. And they talk about every single sentence and word and they parse everything down and what does this mean? What does that mean? Who's the one what? I just can't. I can't keep up with it at that level. I just don't have the time or energy for it. Right. Well, I know, Tucker Carlson, I thought the debate between him and Mike Huckabee, he made Mike look bad. He made Ted Cruz look bad. You know, I mean, just by asking simple questions. And instead, I hear people just attack, attack him, attack him. Just answer the question. What, what?

Is it just really one religion or is it all of us? That's what I'm saying. Well, I mean, that's a, I think that's a fair question. I think that's an honest question. I know when he had his show on Fox News, 8 o'clock every night, my TV was on, I was watching Tucker Carlson. I think he's, he has a gift that he is able to put things in a certain perspective. He's able to ask certain questions that he is. able to do things and explain things in a way, much like Marco Rubio. You know, I think that's one of the great things that Marco Rubio can do. And I wish he was a little more prominent in this administration. But when Marco Rubio gets out there and talks about a particular issue, yeah, Marco Rubio is great when it comes to explaining foreign policy and why this administration does the things that it does. And Tucker Carlson has that ability to be very persuasive. And he can use that. and I think in a lot of different ways. And so we'll see what happens with that, but I just haven't followed it that closely. Ronnie in Arkansas, I appreciate that call tonight and keep up the good work, my friend. Glad to have you along as well. 866- 647-337. That is the number to call if you want to get on board. And the question I want to put out there, at least for this half hour, is this. How closely are you following and how much of a difference does it make in your life the... back and forth and the, I guess, the dust up or the disagreement that is going on between President Trump and the Pope. I was raised Catholic. Probably not the best guy to talk about Catholicism or going to church because Lord knows I've strayed. I'm not all that adherent, as you might say. But when it comes to the Pope, I was reading a piece by J. Robert Smith, an American thinker. And I tend to agree with a lot of what he wrote on this. And the one thing that he talks about when you talk about the Pope is that when it comes to the Pope and what the Pope has to say, that the Pope is not infallible. Certainly when it comes to politics and current events, certainly not pertaining to the purpose for the Iranian war, which he says is imperative and moral. And I agree with that. And he talks about the remarks of President Trump, that was vintage Trump. That is those of us who watch Trump and know what he does, we should really expect nothing different on behalf of President Trump. So there's a lot going on here. And I look at this and it just, look, the Pope is the Pope. The one thing I know about being Catholic is that we understand the concept of forgiveness. Asking the Lord for forgiveness, forgiveness of our sins. As a pope, he has the power to forgive you of your sins, as any priest does. Bill O'Reilly made a great observation on this. And Bill O'Reilly said that he could mediate a settlement between the Pope and Donald Trump. He said, but I would have to ask His Holiness, very frankly. You've had 30,000 people gunned down in Iran just a few weeks ago.

We heard nothing from the Vatican on that at all. Not a thing. You have a terror government close to a nuclear weapon. Is it acceptable for the Catholic Church to look away from that? So it's quite, I think it's the Pope's place to criticize, he can criticize the president. He can criticize any world leader. But don't act as if Donald Trump is the aggressor here or Donald Trump is somehow in the wrong for taking the steps that he sees necessary to protect the people of the United States. The more from Bill O'Reilly, he said, how would you think the Pilp Leo would answer those questions? Very simple. Is the Catholic Church okay? with the mullahs having a nuclear weapon. Yes or no? And so we'll see how the Pope addresses that. The other thing that happened was, I believe it was a week ago today, that 60 Minutes had on some cardinals who were being critical of the Trump policy as it regards immigration, as it regards illegals coming into this country. And I think to myself, what does the Vatican have around it. You know, it has a rather large wall. And what is the likelihood that someone is going to enter illegally into the Vatican and take up residence there and start getting money for education, for food, for housing, for clothing on the backs of whatever financial resources that the Vatican has, which... I would imagine her quite fast. So there's a share of hypocrisy that goes along with this. And I just keep thinking of that word forgiveness. I think in the end, Trump is going to be forgiven for this. So this story, for whatever reason. is just another one that doesn't rate all that high on my radar. Let's go to, I think it says Union, Ohio, and we'll say good evening to Mike. Mike, you're on the Bill Cunningham show. Hello, Dan. Hi, Mike. Hi. First of all, on the Pope, I was raised Catholic, too. I was really, really proud to have an American become Pope. But from this latest comments by him, I'm thoroughly convinced the College of Cardinals will never, ever again elect an American Pope. I can't tell you that. Does it really make that much of a difference where the Pope is from, what part of the world? It doesn't really make that much difference to me. No, as long as he knows his place. And his place is to be a minister of the Gospels. And sure, say war is terrible, war is wrong. But on the other thing to mention, I'll sleep. I think that is an excellent observation. And then one other thing that never gets any media presentation since football ended.

is Miles Garrett, the big fraud of Miles Garrett and the Browns. He did not get the sack on Joe Burrow. Burrough's leg was down on the turf, and then Garrett just falls on him. Oh, yeah, that was the record-breaking sack. That one, yeah. Right. All right. Not the biggest fraud there ever was. Well, Mike, we've gone from the Pope to professional football, so I thank you very. That was a pretty good transition right there. We got time for one more, Vera in Cleveland. Hi, Vera. You were talking about the Save America Act. Yes. I always felt that you should be American citizen in order to vote. Is that asking too much? Is this in Ohio? One time, I think it was a year JD Vance got elected to the U.S. Senate. They had that on the ballot, and people vote in favorably. You have to be a citizen to vote. Well, yeah. Well, I know here in Ohio, we require identification to vote. Is that asking too much? I don't think that's asking too much. No. And Vera, I think, well, I thank you very much for that phone call. No, it should not be asking too much. If you want to vote and you have to have a little skin in the game, then it should make voting all that much more important to you. That it takes a little bit of effort on your behalf. And if you don't have the wherewithal to do that, well, maybe. you might think twice about voting. If getting an ID or providing an ID or being able to show that you're an American citizen is too much, well, then maybe you should just sit it out. One of the things I talk about, because I have a media background, and I have a pretty good understanding of how all this stuff works. But when it comes to the American people being informed, the media that we have just, they're very poor. They do a terrible job at keeping the American people informed about things that are important. And to that end, Daniel Greenfield has written in front page magazine that more than a half dozen interviewees independently named one California congressman for pursuing female staffers. CNN had the story back in 2017 as part of their Me Too coverage, and they didn't do a thing about it. For nearly a decade after CNN had the story and sat on it, explaining at the time that They would not name the congressman because the stories are unverified. They took credit for their investigative journalism. They knew about it in 2017. In 2020, CNN had time to train its investigative journalism on President Trump's ability to climb stairs and drink a glass of water. That same year, Representative Eric Swalwell, a politician that CNN knew had been accused of sexual harassment, ran for president.

CNN made no mention of that fact. So you've got favorable coverage of Eric Swalwell by the national media. And so for the love of God, do not pretend to act as if the media and fellow Democrats somehow have some measure of virtue for forcing out. A complete scumbug. A total creep like Eric Swalwell. They knew for more than a decade what kind of guy he was. They did absolutely nothing. Nothing until it became a threat to their grip on power. And it served their political purpose and the agenda of the radical left to get him out of there. Let's get back to the phone calls. We got Danny and Oklahoma. Danny, you're on the Bill Cunningham show on this Sunday night. Oh, hey, Dan. I'm glad you're there tonight for Bill. Good to hear your voice. Good to hear your voice, sir. Oh, thank you. Yeah, I have a few points here. Okay. I know at least this half hour. I'd like to go back if I could, but yeah, I'll comment on the Pope. I mean, and you mentioned just a while ago. I mean, the example you gave where he seemed to be critical on the U.S. or the Trump administration's policy on cracking down. on border security, the illegal aliens and the crime and even terrorists that have crossed the border, it looks to me like, or if you then move on to, you know, the concerns that we've had for years with not just Iran, but their proxies, you know, Hamas and Hezbollah, and the awful, you know, tragic, all the killings that Hamas committed on October 7th of 2023. Let's not forget that. Against innocent Israeli civilians, babies, kids, women, men. And, you know, when you put all that together, I don't know if it's a matter of irrational or just being politically correct to make other folks high up in the Vatican. you know, that have a problem with, you know, it's not a matter of just U.S. policy, but just doing what's right. I ran pretty much to beg for a war whenever that happened in October of 23. Well, did we hear it? And look, this Pope, I don't think this Pope was in office when that happened. on October 7th, but I don't recall hearing any condemnation of that. I don't recall hearing any condemnation of Iran being a state sponsor of terrorism. So there's a lot of things that seems like they just turn a blind eye to. So that's why I don't get overly worked up when I hear the Pope come out and criticize President Trump because...

uh there's there there's uh i think there's a lot bigger fish to fry in that area instead of going after the the policies of this president yeah exactly and And I would like to point out something you were talking about, you know, earlier this evening, too, about how not all, but so many Democrats that are in politics or just supporters of the liberal agenda. A lot of the, like you pointed out, there's a lot of things that are going to come, you know, that will come out of this. war with Iran. But similarly, if you look at a Democrat that works right there in the Trump administration, Robert F. Kennedy Jr.., you know, the head of the FDA, you know, making a sincere effort to make our food and vaccine safer. And yet so many Democrats, including a lot of Robert F. Kennedy Jr.'s extended family, not as a media family, are critical of him. The Democrats have been begging us for years to clean up the, you know, it's never enough to clean up the environment. And now we've got someone to the FBI, one of their own, a Democrat. who's offering to do it, and they're still not satisfied. Of course they're not satisfied because it trumped arrangement syndrome. It trumps everything else. They can't be satisfied with that. And as all this mumbo-jumbo and hokom about working together on things and reaching across the aisle and finding common ground, all that stuff goes by the wayside when it comes to this particular style of politics. And John and Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is a guy who I think is, you talk about, and there was a time when he had serious disagreements with Donald Trump. But they were able to put those things aside and do what, work for what's best for the country. I don't see in any of the things that Robert F. Kennedy Jr. does, I don't see him trying to do anything for himself. I don't see anything that is overtly political. in any sort of way. And it's called Maha, make America healthy again. And what's wrong with that agenda? Nothing at all. I think he's doing a wonderful job. And I'll make a quick comment about Tucker Carlson. I'll weigh in on that one, too. I noticed that right after Fox, I believe they let him go, didn't they? Yeah, well, you know, they had some sort of, I don't know exactly what the disagreement was, but they had the park company, yeah. But, yeah, right after that happened, I noticed that his conservative opinions seemed to change. And they weren't anything close to what they were while he worked for Fox, because I used to enjoy listening to him. And then it seemed like after he left Fox, and I can't remember there was something controversial. I can't even remember what that was. But...

anyways it was shortly thereafter well even when even when Tucker Carlson was on the nightly he had his nightly show on Fox News I never felt that he was overtly political I thought I thought A lot of the questions that he asked. And I don't think he really showed any favor to one political party over the other. Because his interviews with either a Republican guest or a Democrat guest, I thought the questions were always fair. I thought they were always probing. I thought they were always pretty smart questions. And it could be a Republican or a Democrat. He didn't care. He would give them some serious, meaningful, tough questions. to respond to. And I thought that was one of the things. I thought he was absolutely one of the best on TV at that time to be able to do it. He is a very persuasive guy, and he is able to form questions and opinions that I think can really make you think about things. And I think that's one of the great things about Tucker Carlson. in for the great american bill cunningham and great to welcome in our next guest james herson is and i was and i was reading his bio and you talk about a guy with so much going on he's got a jurist doctorate he's a master's in media psychology new york times bestselling author international business attorney a law professor and a journalism professor a member of the California and the D.C. bar. He's been admitted to the Supreme Court. And James, we can go on with all that stuff. But I look at all this, and I think to myself, how does a guy have time for all that stuff? That is an absolutely amazing bio. Well, thank you very much. Well, I have a lot of time for it because I'm old. Because I've been around a long time, so that's why. Well, old but good. And you have written a column that in the title of the piece is called The Crawl Towards Communism. And I'm looking at this, and I think this should really be required reading. For a lot of young people, for anyone who wants to get in politics, maybe people in media, it would be a good idea. If they read this, anyone under the age of 35, I think should have a look at this. And you talk about... the fall of the Soviet Union back in 1991 and how we really thought that was going to be a turning point in the world. And if you would have told me back in 1991 that I'd be sitting here in 2026 and talk about the growing affection that so many Americans have for communism and socialism in America and how it really does threaten the... the world that we live in today. I would have said that you're crazy because people have seen how it doesn't work. People have seen the misery that comes with it every single time. But I think we have an entire generation today that is entirely clueless about what it's really all about. Oh, yeah, you're absolutely right. And, you know, the amazing thing is that we have polls that show that this... affinity almost and welcoming for its communism disguised. You know, we have the Democratic Socialists of America who endorsed the now mayor of New York, Zohran Mamdani, who he admits, you know, that he's a socialist, but he's a communist. His views are consistent with the communist manifesto. pretty significant number of Millennials and Gen Ziers. The way to describe it, and I do in the article, that they're warm toward communism. They don't understand the existential danger. And what we have happening in the United States right now, it's interesting. If you recall back years ago, now it's used as a disparaging term.

But in order to say justify tax cuts, conservatives would talk about trickle down. And they would say, you know, if we make things good for those who are risk takers and innovators that they out will. And they were right. It was just an unfortunate use of the term trickle down. But what we have going on in the U.S. right now is the opposite. Trickle up. Because. In city councils across this country, and not just in New York City, and in county governments and school boards, not confined only to blue states, but in the heart of red states, we have local communism. And the ideas are being welcomed like we see right now in New York, the beginning of an asset-based tax. Not just like in both New York and the far left is looking at ways to spend more of people's money. And they're coming up with this idea of taxing a person's net worth. And that's why, for example, the discussion and the initiative is going on in California, Mark Zuckerberg moved out recently and moved to Florida. And we're seeing, you know, a wealth exodus in California. And, of course, the wealth exodus has just begun in New York. And this is the same kind of pattern that occurred in Venezuela and in Cuba when they metamorphized from what was a non-communist government to a communist government. And, you know, there's the Black Book of Communism. I mean, more people have died from this malignant form of government. than all the wars combined. And it's just that we used to have a movement of anti-communism. We really need to resurrect that movement. Yeah, unfortunately, I don't see that happening. You talk about the wealth tax that's happening in California. The moment that Bernie Sanders heard about this, the moment that Elizabeth Warren heard about this, the first thing they started talking about was, well, all these people are going to move out of California to avoid these taxes, but now we need this for the entire country. So the wealthy cannot. escape these tactics. What kind of thinking is that? And I was reminded of another Democrat, and I forget the name, but this Democrat, I have the audio of this Democrat saying, there's so much wealth out there that isn't taxed. And it really is revealing of the mindset of some of these people who are in power. They just sit there and they're envious of anything that anybody has, and they want that. And the thing is, it's not going to be put.

to any good purpose. But you also brought up Zohran Mamdani. And I remember the first time I learned that Zohran Mamdani was going to run in New York, and I thought, well, a Muslim communist, no way is someone like that going to be mayor of New York? Then the reality set in that this guy was going to win. And I thought to myself, the one thing that I really thought to myself when I first heard about this guy was this really shows up the failure. that we have an education. And you talk about that in your piece because I look at the support that he got, especially from a lot of people who are in their 20s and in their 30s. And again, have no clue about what socialism and communism always brings every single time it's been tried. And these are the folks who they give the girls giggle when he walks by. The boys think they're cool because, hey, look at this guy. He's young. He's hippies. You know, very glib. And they just think that it doesn't go any deeper than that. But they really, the people in New York are eventually going to find out about how big of a mistake they really made. Yeah. No, no. It's amazing. You know, recently a guy who gets it, Justice Clarence Thomas made this speech. It was on the 250th. anniversary of the Declaration of Independence. He was speaking of the University of Texas. And he used the term that the neo-communist movement is fond of, progressive. You know, and he described it as progressivism, but it's the same principles. And he said it's the antithesis of the principles in the Declaration of Independence, which is America's birth certificate. which has this at the time exceptional idea that, you know, the rights and powers that we hold as people come from God rather than government. These neo-communists believe that rights, if there are any, come from politicians. And, you know, budget hearings can eliminate them. And that would they want to punish risk takers? And those principles that are in the Declaration created the most prosperous economy, the world, the most prosperous country in the world, based on the idea of freedom. That economic freedom and the free market. works at a higher level than central planners do. And it's very, you know, it's just self-evident because in countries that have economic freedom, consumers have so many choices, have the ability to, a good example, as you go into any typical grocery store in the West. and say you were going to buy orange juice. You'll see fresh, frozen, with pulp, without pulp, you'll have fortified orange juice, nine, all different brands. So there's scores of choices.

And then how did it get there, you know? How did it get there? It came through people, yes, their incentive was to make a profit, but it's not through government. It's through individual incentive. And instead, the contrast is, in Cuba, there's one kind of orange juice. And it's one brand, Fidel brand. It tastes horrible. And you sound like you've tried it before. Have you had the Fidel Orange Juice? But you have to stand in line. Yeah, that's great, sure. And they'll have it in New York at Zohran Mamdani's new market that will have the discounted food. They'll have no choices in that market. Yeah, but not until 2029. He had that news conference the other day. And they were talking to grocery executives about that. And they said, this is going to cost about three times as much. as a grocery store, and it's going to be about twice as small, and it's ridiculously expensive. And, of course, it's not even going to open for three more years. And what are the chances that there's going to be cost overruns, and it probably won't open until maybe 2030 or 2031? Yes. And, you know, we believe that a biblical point of view with it, we live in a fallen world. And history is proof of that. And because we live in a fallen world, every single time that a tyrannical, communist-oriented government... springs into being, it ends up becoming basically a criminal enterprise. And we see that in Minnesota, in California. We see it in the blue states now, thanks to this young man, Nick Shirley, that it's like an unfathomable amount of fraud and abuse. that's going on and it really explains, as Elon Musk has posted numerous times, the reason that we have such a large debt. We have 40 trillion in debt. We piled up that debt, not by intelligence spending, but by fraudulent spending. I just here in California where I live. in the Los Angeles area, they closed down with Dr. Oz under his supervision. They stopped funding 500 hospices. And there were no complaints because there were no patients. It was all a scam. And we don't even know the total amount of fraud yet.

But that's the other thing that always happens with communism. And it's, you know, it promises this, this notion of a utopia that has, oh, everyone's going to be taken care of. And yes, everyone will be taken care of. They all live in misery. I mean, full-blown communism is North Korea. That system where only a few have privilege who are in a certain, it might as well be a monarchy, a corrupt monarchy, and the rest of the people are starving. uh intentionally well you know what you are you are bringing up the the exact next point that i wanted to bring up it's so interesting to me that all these people who love socialism who want communism for everyone else the people who advocate for it what do they advocate for they advocate for them to be at the top they advocate for them to be the ones who call the shots hey look this is america If these people want to enjoy the, as Zohran Mamdani put it, the warmth of the collective, they are free to move to any communist country in the world that they please, but they choose not to do that because they don't want to be the subject of communism. They want to be the leader of the communism because they do enjoy a very nice lifestyle. No, that's right. That's why I say it's a criminal. enterprise it should be called con unism you know because they're trying to con I mean look at Bernie Sanders this guy when he first came on the scene he was railing against The millionaires. He was talking about the millionaires all the time. We can't let the millionaires control everything until he became one. And once he became a millionaire, then he changed. You never hear him say that. Now you hear him say, the billionaires. The billionaires and the oligarchs. That's right. And we, you know, the United States of America for 137 years did not have an income tax. People don't even study American history. They don't know that. We had to amend our Constitution in 1913 to establish an income tax. So, and it started with the notion that we're just going to have it on the billionaires. We're not even wealthy at the time. And it always starts like that. And then it moves into everyone. And so this thing Zohran Mamdani is doing now, he's justifying it by going after these elites that don't even live in New York City, but own property there and giving them a confiscatory tax.

Well, what's that going to do? They're going to leave. There's not a real estate developer that's going to want to develop luxury real estate in New York City. It's going to harm the economy. And somehow it's like economic literacy is a very important subject that I know we want people to be able to read as well. But economic literacy, part of it is to understand the reason. that socialism doesn't work. As Margaret Thatcher said, it works temporarily until they run out of other people's money. And that's clearly Zohran Mamdani is on that path to run out of other people's money. And of course, He would, if, you know, his plan and the Democrats plan is to have a federal government modeled after what New York and California are doing, which is what you said, to have that, what Elizabeth Warren's talking about. have basically the beginning of communism at the federal level. Absolutely. But it's... They want no one. They want no one. Crazy local, crazy local city councils. By the way, think of it, there's no red city in the United States, other than maybe we can argue a purple one, Miami, but all the major cities have gone. crazy far left. Yeah. It is Dan Carroll in for the Great American Bill Cunningham. And, of course, the main topic of discussion on all the Sunday shows, what is happening with respect to Iran. Joining us now is Colonel West Martin, retired U.S. Army colonel served in law enforcement positions around the world, the first senior anti-terrorism official of all the coalition forces and a widely recognized expert in politics and business. And Colonel West Martin, it is great to have you on tonight here on the Bill Cunningham Show. How are you, sir? Dan, I'm doing well. It's my own to be with you. Well, thank you so much. There are so many moving parts when you talk about Operation Epic Fury, the attack on Iran, the Strait of Horm moves, and all the rest of it. As you look at the overall situation there, give me one or two things that you think is the most important that the American people who are looking at this should be paying attention to. One of the first things is the very start of this operation should have gone back to the Weinberger-Powel Doctrine and examine what it is we, what are the vital interests. And there were vital interests involved with Iran, and they are the number one sponsor of international terrorism, state sponsor. Where were the objectives and were they clear and were they attainable? Thom Tillis is telling us he don't know what the objectives are, which is interesting because wars are not fought on primary budgets. They're fought with supplemental budgets. They have to be approved by Congress. And here we have a U.S. Senator saying, I don't know what the objectives are. Then back to the poll doctrine, the risk and cost analysis. And to the credit of the Trump administration, all nonviolent means were exhausted. We've tried to work with that country many, many times. And unfortunately, presidents Clinton, W. Bush, Obama, and Biden all worked for appeasement. The last president that really understood the Middle East was George H.W. Bush. That's why he stopped Saddam dropping Saddam when he had the chance during the first Gulf War. Saddam was not a good person.

When I worked detention operations, I got to deal with that man, eyeball to eyeball. But he did maintain stability in the Middle East. We were told at the Pentagon, don't disrupt that balance of power. And then the consequences back to the Jerome Powell Doctrine, were the consequences considered? And did they have American public support? Did they have clear, broad international support? So we should have gone to the Jerome Powell Doctrine, but today we're where we are. So what we're looking at is the war was paused for negotiations. That also violated the basic principle of George Patton, is you never stop, you keep hitting, hitting hard, hitting fast, and what the one they do expect. Right now, the Iranian regime, and I've dealt with these guys, and I've also dealt extensively for the past 20 years with the resistance organization, they're moving those drones around. They're removing forces. In combat, we have five battle domains, air, land, sea, space, and cyberspace. The one that we cannot operate in, and we haven't yet, is land. And we don't want to put forces on the ground in Iran because of the drone problem. And those drones will be coming in all directions. And as testified before, the House Armed Services Committee, There are thousands of drones. Yes, 13,000 targets were hit by Israel and the United States. But the IRGC, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, they're spread out. And as a result, they operate off existing battle plans, and that's what's happened. The Iranians are very good at development battle plans. They're terrible at securing them, which I'll explain a little bit. But as a result, all those drones that hit the Gulf states and everywhere else in Israel and Jim Jordan, those were already pre-planned. They're operating off existing plans right now. And what I've been trying to get the resistance to do, namely the National Council of Iran, which is a very good organization, and I've worked with them, as I've mentioned, to... coordinate with the other organizations in Iran, the Belouche in the Southeast, the Arabs in the southwest, the Kurds in the northwest, the Azeris in the north center, and 55% of the population of Persians work with all of them. And to the credit of the National Council of Resistance Iran, they do. But this needs to be built upon more. Five days before Comini's compound was hit by the Israeli missiles, there was a force within the National Council, the Mushin Hikouk. They attacked that compound with 250 people. A hundred of them died, and the attackers had to withdraw. But the good thing that happened is the IRGC beefed up security of that compound. So when Benjamin Netanyahu's missiles hit it,

it killed a whole lot more people. And that's the best thing you can do with the IRGC. Yeah, take them out. As I watched, especially this, it seemed this week it was more pronounced than before. And what I'm talking about, I watch a Sunday shows. Iran is the number one topic. You've got a number of pundits, political pundits, talking heads. You've got a number of Democrats who were on these shows talking about what's going on. As I listen to them talk. As I listen to them, give their analysis of what they think is going on. I don't really think they have a clue what's going on because Trump is not telling them. I think, number one, they're mad about that, that they're not getting briefings, they're not getting a heads up. They're not privy to any of the plans of Trump or Pete Hegseth or anyone else. I think they're upset about that. And then they're also trying to make the argument. that the political components of this are going to start weighing heavily on the decision-making on behalf of the commander-in-chief. Are you sensing that at all, that the poll numbers, political considerations are starting to creep into whatever decision-making process is going on here? If this was any other president than Trump. I'd probably think yes. But as we all know, President Trump is going to do what President Trump's going to do. Right. And he's not going to worry about politics. So that part, I understand all the Democrats with one or two exceptions of saying, this is all bad. Sean Hannity made a comment one time, if Trump was to walk across the Hudson River. the Democrats would come out and say, he can't swim. And so, and the Republicans, many of them are coming out. And of course, everything's good. Myself, I'm a moderate. And one time I got Sheila Jackson Lee to co-sponsor resolution that was proposed by Newt Gingrich. And so I'm... I look at both sides and let's go right down. I come from a law enforcement background. What's the facts? And the facts drive the solution. So as a result, the pundits get on TV and they'll all say their party line. But Trump is not going to be swayed by politics. He's going to do what he's going to do. I do hope that he does not try to put troops on the ground because that will be like riding into the little big horn, George Custer. There'll be a broken arrow. We all remember the movie with Hellmore. We were soldiers once in young. Mel Gibson played Hellmore. That's what will happen. So with all those drones and everything coming in. And when you look at the types of drones that they have, some of those drones have a range of 2,400 miles with 12 precision guided bombs. That's the Shahid 149. But there's others, the smaller ones.

So as a result, and I know for a fact, if the Iranian troops would go up against American troops, face-to-face, the American troops would dominate. There's no doubt. But the threat is with all those drones coming in. And also, if this war kicks up again, those drones are going to start flying in all directions, and they're going to start aiming those drones at ships in the Gulf. And it's going to be a mess. So as a result, it does have to end in negotiations. And it's going to have to be resolved for the moment. But I do wish Trump would reach out to the resistance organizations. And I work with him, but there's others that work with him, too, and Trump's in the circle. Rudy Giuliani is very active in the group that I work with. Newt Gingrich, Mike Pompeo, less active, but he is well aware of this organization. They can help link him up. And that way, the exit strategy, ultimate exit strategy we want, is to see this regime fall and bring peace and stability to the Middle East and to the world. and working with the Iranian people, it can be accomplished. So, and I wanted to ask you about that, there seems to be a growing body of thought out there that arming the Iranian people would be a good thing. As you look at that, and if I'm hearing you right, you seem to be advocating for that to some degree to arm these people. How effective can they be as a fighting force, or does this just open the floodgates? to more wholesale executions that we saw previously. Well, I'll answer the second part first. When you had the mass protests in January, as I mentioned earlier, Iran is really good at developing plans, terrible that protected them. I saw their top secret plan on how to put down protests. And they went to phase four when they put machine guns on the streets, snipers and buildings, and even embedded people inside the protest groups to kill the leaders with headshots. They mowed down, by Iran's own estimates, they mowed down 36,000 people in two days in January. By the Amnesty International, they cut down 80,000. Then they went to the hospitals and collected them up with the tubes still attached to the people.

Now, arming them, Trump is disgruntled because he did arm the Kurds recently in December, and the Kurds kept the weapons. But that's history repeating itself. When Obama sent weapons over to the Kurds to fight ISIS when they were in Iraq, the Kurdish leaders didn't keep the weapons, but for the subordinates to get the weapons in an ammunition, they had to pay for them. So go back to recent history, what happened? Now, the weapons have got to be distributed wisely, but also the people operating the weapons need to be trained. And you could do train the trainer, train members of the Kurdish nation. I call it a nation because when you look at it, it is a nation. It covers northwest Iran, North Iraq, northeast Syria, and southern Turkey. And those straight-line borders that were formed after World War I by the British and the French just cut nations apart with no rhyme or reason. But train the people and get them ready, and then you can have a very effective... overthrow of the regime and the country can stay intact because otherwise it could divide in several ways and now you have about four or five different countries. And like what happened with India and Pakistan when they divided, people were scurrying to get back where they were and there was a lot of genocide. You don't want that. You want to replace a terrible regime, a tyranny, with democracy. In all honesty, they had that chance in 1979 when the Shah was overthrown. And that was a brutal dictator. When he was overthrown, there was a chance. Bonnie Sada was trying to build a democracy. But Khomeini came back from Paris, rallied the students at the university, got them to assault the American embassy, and then his Islamic Revolution was on. And the people have been living in tyranny now since 1953. Yeah, no doubt, no doubt about it. I think that's going to be, as I look at this, I think that's going to be the toughest nut to crack is to get someone in power there that the United States can work with. I just, that to me seems like the most impossible task out of everything that's going on. Not so impossible because the National Council of Resistance of Iran already has a structure in place. Marion Roshavi, the leader of the organization, has already set up a shadow government. And also, years ago, she developed the 10-point plan on the different things they intend to accomplish. One would be the end of Sharia law.

the opening of all religions, equality among all the people. And her other eight points, very much when you look at it, a lot like President Franklin Roosevelt said with his four freedoms, freedom of religion, freedom of speech, freedom from want and freedom from fear. And she built those ten points pretty much the same way. And they do have the network, not just a national council, but the sub-element of the motion at any co. And they have members all over the world. And how I ended up working with them in Iraq is when I took command of base Ashraf, where about 2,500 of them who had been trapped there after the Americans dropped Saddam. Saddam had given the Mosheedin five bases to operate on because the enemy of my enemy is my friend. Colonel West Martin, we've only got about a minute or so left here. If the air campaign starts again in earnest and the power plants and the bridges are the main targets of that. Do you see that being effective into accomplishing what Trump talks about that he wants to accomplish? It would be effective, but there's one caution. That one F-15 that was brought down by a shoulder held on the surface, the air missile, where did that come from? And right now, wherever it came from, the Iranians are now restocking and getting as many as they can. Maybe it was something left over American ordinance from years past when we were helping other areas. Maybe it came from China. Don't know. But if there is an air campaign... It's going to have to be a lot more careful now because they know we're coming this time. They know we're coming. They know we're coming, and they've had weeks to get ready for it. But have they been able to put their air defenses back in working? The large ones, no. That will take too long. The established sites. What I'm more concerned with is that was shoulder-held rockets. One of them got in there at the end of phase one. And now that they know their work, they're going to be running and getting more of them. All right. That could be a very serious problem. All right. So arm the resistance and watch out for the shoulder-held missiles. Colonel West Martin, great to have you on tonight, sir. Always appreciate the time. And Curtis Halk, it's great to have you back, even though it's the Bill Cunningham show. It's great to have you back on the show. How are you tonight? Either or I love you both. I love you both. It's good to be with you, my friend. How have things been over at NewsBusters? It's been a little while since I talked to you, but it is absolutely amazing that there is no shortage of items in the news and no shortage of leftist journalists who go out of their way to make fools of themselves. Right. I mean, you take your pick. I mean, you look at what they're not covering. There's different stories going on with that, the California hospice stuff. You look at their Iran coverage. You'll look at some of the things going on on the Hill with Save America Act. You also could look at the Iraq. I mean, you really take your pick, and we've been pretty busy frequent. the NewsBusters team looking at all kinds of stuff about what they're covering and what they're not covering because, you know, in my opinion, it's always sometimes the things they're not covering that's almost as, it's not more insidious than the kind of whack job things they are saying. Well, let me ask you about the Eric Swalwell stuff. Aside from the fact that he dropped out of the California governor's race and he's stepping down from Congress, have they really covered this story at all in all the... just as the horrendous allegations that have been brought against him. Have they gone into depth on that? I know CNN sort of led the way on that when they spent some time on that a couple of weeks ago, and that's when we really knew Eric Swalwell was in trouble. But the main networks, ABC, CBS, NBC, how have they handled it? Yeah, I mean, they've been covering it. And then that's really the interesting thing. So they try to say, oh, because they cover it, you know, it's not like we haven't said anything. We've been all over this thing we've covered it multiple times. You know, we did these interviews with the women. And, I mean, yeah, there's been some snafus like I wrote last Monday, ABC's Good Morning America, when the entire piece without saying it was a Democrat.

Um, but by and large, you know, they're still hitting all the main points. However, what's, what's missing from all of this and my colleague, Kim Graham wrote about this in one of the syndicated comms last week about how this phenomenon that a lot of folks have picked up on that these, these allegations just suddenly came out of nowhere. And you had a few journalists at Politico or, um, local, local reporters that have said, oh, there were murmurs. There were rumblings, you know, his buddy Ruben Gallego, his shirtless, uh, camel riding bud from uh you know the the covid days said oh i heard that you know he had been flirty he had a flirty reputation um You know, when Brian Stelter defended the San Francisco Chronicle, which kind of came out miraculously at the same time as the CNN story about so-law, I'll saying, well, these things take time for, like, women to, like, talk and want to go on the record. And what my colleague Tim Graham said is there's no consideration of the fact outside of maybe Fox News and conservative media that these allegations are coming out because California Democrats... are in a pickle. They still are in a huge pickle because they created this jungle primary system a few years ago where it's the top two voters of vote-getters advance to November, regardless of political party. So of course, in a heavy blue state like that, they're hoping, oh my gosh, we get two Democrats. Well, what's happened is there's been so many Democrats thinking they're just hot stuff, man, and they're all running, and they've been all splitting the vote such that. You have two Republicans, Steve Hilton and Chad Bianco, leading in the polls, which would be a doomsday scenario where you have two Republicans advancing to the November election. So it became a situation where we got to do something. Someone's got to go. Kitty Katie Porter. I mean, she's poured potatoes on her ex-husband's head, boiling potatoes. You know, she won't be bounced from the race. Tom Steyer has, like, more money than God for some reason. He's not going to quit. Oh, swallow? Oh, we all know he's a creep. Oh, how about that? So that's kind of where this comes from. It reminds us of 2012. Those listeners were called 2012, you know, where every time a Republican would advance the top of the polls, it'd be a story. You know, Sarah Palin, when she was thinking of running, that, you know, she had an affair with an NBA player and she did cocaine. You had Herman Kane and all the stories about him and women. You know, Rick Santorum, his wife before she met Rick, dated a guy who was pro-abortion or something like that. Rick Perry, there was a rock at his, like, cabin or his lodge that had the N-word on it or something like that. And obviously, all the Mitt Romney's stories. It's very similar to that. It's just, it's so shameless, Dan. It is. And I have contended from the very beginning that they have known for more than a decade, the kind of guy that Eric Swalwell is and the kind of guy he was. And they did absolutely nothing until it became a threat to their grip on power in California. And because removing him from Congress at this time serves their political purposes and the agenda.

of the radical left and that is that is the only reason that he is gone any attempt to claim the moral high ground on this to act as if they're doing something that is worthy of respect. The Nancy Pelosi had no idea, Dan. I mean, seriously. It's not just that she was like the speaker. It's not just that she was the speaker in a fellow California Democrat. They represented neighboring congressional districts. Okay? So they represent not only the same political bent of constituents. They represent the same area, the Bay area of people. She's on the one side of the Bay. He's on the other side of the Bay. So it's like they have very overlapping constituencies and employers, you know, things in their districts. So like they would have spent a lot of time together things. And to say you had no ideas beyond me. I have no reason. What's a frustrating too is I have no reason to doubt these women that they, you know, that this isn't legitimate, that these things totally happened. It's just, you know, it's wreaked of political opportunism. Absolutely. Absolutely. On another issue, the very brave. Kristen Welker of NBC's Meet the Press, did her sit down interview with Zohran Mamdani. And, I mean, really bored. About the only question she didn't ask was the Katie Couric question that she asked of Gavin Newsom, you know, why is it that you're so good looking? And what kind of problems does that give you? Other than that, it was the softest of softball interviews. that I could possibly imagine. And it was all about how are you going to carry out your agenda? How are you going to keep doing all these wonderful things that you're doing? Never mind that he just had a news conference the other day talking about his grocery stores. That's going to cost about two or three times more than your average grocery store and still isn't going to be ready until 2029. So all these great promises that he's made, none of them have come about into reality. Right, and the daycare is only going to be for two-year-olds. Yeah, there you go. Yeah, the buses, we're actually not making them free right now. We're just trying to improve the time. He did say they were faster. He said they were faster. They're faster. What an accomplishment. Yeah, he's been making the rounds this week. He did an interview on CBS as well, and it was the same sort of tenor, and this is what's so frustrating. They try to, like, sound tough in. You know, they're like, but Mr. Mayor, blah, blah, blah, blah. Or, like, they may interject, you know, because they try to get people to think interruption denotes, like, toughness when... It doesn't. It's not. If you actually listen to or read the transcript of these people's questions, it's just general awe and amazement.

And how is you going to make sure that this kind of platform goes national? Because that's really what they're interested in. Because Bernie Sanders, you know, he's this old man with his hair is all weird. And, you know, he's from Vermont. So people are like, yeah, yeah, yeah, okay, whatever, other than the college students. But like, here's Zohran Mamdani here. And you're not asking about Mamu Khalil or his staffing decisions or his social media. Nothing like that. These kinds of things, you know, that she had used the N-word. She had said she'd like post celebrating the rapes of women on October 7th, all that kind of stuff. It's just not that interesting. It doesn't really matter. Property taxes, the increase in taxes, he's just talking about, oh, we're going to tax second homes. Okay, like, that's not what you were saying here. And so, you know, they are grasping at straws to try and find someone to lead into 2028 because, yes, Gavin Newsom is dangerous. He's more formidable than I think people want to stay. But at the end of the day, the guy is a bond villain and he's got the most annoying wine mom wife. Oh, and she is, I think she's going to wind up. dragging him down. Can I tell you, give you a good reason why I love Karoline Leavitt at the White House? There was a post that was put out a day or so ago from a Selena Wang of ABC News. And she was at the Oval Office during a press availability. And she wrote this. Trump just had an hour plus executive order signing in the Oval Office with reporters in the room, as he does almost on a daily basis. He did not take a single question on Iran. The response that came from the White House, and Karoline Leavitt was this. The event was about accelerating research to help people struggling with serious mental illness, like veterans, who say it's a lifeline in their battle with PTSD and contemplating suicide. Is that not a worthwhile topic for you? And again, this is just a perfect example of the way the press. treats this White House, treats this president, and tries to self-aggrandize for themselves while they're trying to belittle this president and belittle this administration. Well, and they don't like the fact that they weren't able to harang him over questions about Iran. Yet, he made a series of remarks during that event about Iran. almost just he means stave off the idea of questions, you know? Like, he did this entire event about vets and psychedelics, but then he made a series of comments about Iran before they ushered the press out. So it's not like he didn't engage on the topic of the day, you know, and yet they're still going to complain, number one. Number two, ABC News, I think that's very interesting that Sillian and Wang of all people would say that because ABC and particularly Good Morning America's

always willing to promote whatever Biden's propaganda of the day was. You know, he signed some executive board about credit cards or something stupid like that. Or Joe Biden's cracking down on oil salesmen, you know, or gas stations are ripping you off or this or that kind of thing. And regardless of whether it was salient to the story of the day, they were always willing to promote it and give it a minute and a half on the show. But whereas Republicans, whenever they want to talk about something unrelated to the question of the story of the day, in this case of Iran, it's a distraction. We don't want to hear about it. You know, like the Scott Bessent, you know, Kelly Loeffler being out there about tax day. No, we're just, you know, ABC News, okay, oh, yeah, oh, it's Tax Day, right, yeah, we're going to mention that. You know, we don't want to talk about all of the Trump tax cuts or the no tax on tips and all these kinds of things because, you know, that's distracting. I'm flurying Trump. You know, I have never... Propaganda. It's all propaganda. I have never asked you, Curtis Halk, of Newsbusters, what do you think of Stephen A. Smith? I'm looking at a headline. in the Tampa Free Press. And Stephen A. Smith, I guess he did an appearance on... the Megyn Kelly Show, and he was talking about Kamala Harris. And the headline is this, and Stephen A. Smith says Democrats have to pick Kamala Harris in 2028 or they're stepping over a black woman. Now, he knows. And if you read, or I read the body of the interview, the threat, the main thrust of the interview was that Kamala Harris is completely unqualified to be president of the United States. But because she was there, because she was vice president of the United States, he has to interject this racial component that's going to affect the Democrat Party that somehow if they bypass Kamala Harris once again and deny her the ability to run in a primary, that somehow that is going to reflect poorly on the Democrat Party. Yeah, the Black Mafia is going to make sure of it. I mean, this stems from Kamala Harris going to cheat Black Mafia leader Al Sharpton's National Action Network Conference, which is very interesting. The leading Democrats always go to these events like this and kiss the rings, whereas when Republicans would go to CPAC during their heydays or they'd go to AFP or they'd go to some Coke event. You know, we're talking not this version of the GOP, but many GOPs ago. It would always be about, oh, they're kissing the rings or they're bowing before, you know, whatever, mega donors. They're pandering to the extremist right wing of the party. Correct, yeah, but when they're the disrupted event, it's all like, oh, it's very interesting. What's going on there? So that kind of stems from that with Kamala Harris. I actually hope it doesn't work out that it ends up being Mayor Pete because, you know, ask, I think everyone understands why black voters wouldn't turn out for Mayor Pete Buttigieg Stephen A. Smith.

I think he's interesting. I think he's obviously a bomb thrower. But I think on ESPN, he's definitely playing a character of sorts. You definitely get that sense, how he's kind of boasting, you know, it's kind of weird. I think he'd be an interesting candidate to kind of see where he would stand on certain issues. I don't know how successful he would be, but I would like to see him, kind of like Rahm Emanuel on the debate stage. They would kind of play a kamikaze role like Chris Christie to Marco Rubio or Tulsi Gabbard to Kamala Harris to point out the radical nature of these candidates because these are guys that don't really have anything to lose. Stephen A. Smith, I think, would be an excellent debater because his ability to recall facts and recall figures and recall numbers and names and places and dates is pretty remarkable. He is very, very good at them. on, you know, on first take. They really only talk about the NBA and the NFL. They find a way to talk about second string offensive linemen on the Dallas Cowboys, and they make it interesting, or at least they try to make it appear interesting. So, you know, something like that on a debate stage where you kind of have to pivot and think on your feet would be something that he would definitely. at least make it more in shame for us. And there is some reporting at this late hour that he may have been illegally in possession of a firearm. We'll wait and see how that plays out.

But eight young kids between the ages of about one and about 14 or 15 years old lost their lives and just a horrific, tragic event today in Shreveport, Louisiana. So I want to recognize that. And before I say goodnight to all of you, maybe before you close your eyes, say a prayer for that man, for his family, and for all those who were affected. by just a terrible, unexpected, unspeakable, unimaginable tragedy.
