So you know, Max, I got allergy tested this morning. Been a while since I got allergy tested. Did I find out anything? Well, it's kind of weird. You know, I was like, you know, I got allergy tested for the usual stuff. And then all of a sudden they're like, well, for some reason you're allergic to a Dale Jackson. You're allergic to, you're allergic to Jed Meskons. You're allergic to. You're allergic to Max Templeton's. I started saying, did my name come up? And I'm like, how do you even know that? How did that even show up on the test? And they're like, we don't know. This has never happened before. I think I know how that happened. I think J.R. called. It's like, what? No, no, no, no. So, no, it's just a typical, I'm going to get, you know, I deal with seasonal allergies. Yeah. I've dealt with it most of my life. It gets worse and better. I've heard Chattanooga is one of the worst places in the country. Absolutely. When I lived here as a child, I had asthma all the time. It's crazy. And in 1963, we moved to Maryland. Never had another asthma attack. Really? Yep. And just grew out of it. Just the difference in the air. Wow, that's... Of course, our air here used to be really cruddy. Well, that's true. You probably dealt more with the industrial stuff in the air when you were a kid. Holy cow, isn't that amazing? How much of a difference that makes? I'm allergic to dogs and cats and dust and everything. Well, that's all I was going to say. When they did the test, I'm very allergic to dust. I knew that, but it was still like the worst. And I'm thinking, how much dust is in this place that I'm working at? It's about a half inch thick. Now, I cleaned the board the other day. I took some alcohol swabs. Now, we do have like an air purifier in the studio. I don't know. When's the last time we cleaned the filter? Yeah, that's because of Jedmascon. Oh, he put that in there? No, we had got the air humidifier, so after he goes off, people don't have to, you know, breathe the same air. Oh, okay, good. It's a Jed Mascon filter. When you order it, because, you know, I was allergic, according to the test, you order it, you get the special Jed filter. You know, poor Jed, we all love him, but man, we give him the devil. And he deserves it. Hey, by the way, Saturday, they're having a thing up at Chester Frost Park.
Our sister station, KZ, is going to be up there. I'm also going to be up there. Nice. If you're going to come to the music on Saturday night, it's free up at Chester Frost Park in Middle Valley, say hi to me. Okay. I'll be the dude sitting there in the chair, but the van asleep, probably. Just after you set up everything, you're going to be a little sleepy. What's the weather supposed to be like? You know, I don't know. Not to look that up. Well, I'll get under a tent. If it gets bad, I'll put the tent up and get in the van. And if it gets real bad, I'll leave. You'll go home. Yeah. You make sure. Okay, make sure you talk nice about me beyond. You're not coming? No, I have little kids. Max, you don't understand. I go home and immediately I am tackled by a two-year-old girl. Daddy this and daddy that. Now, Izzy can't walk yet, but if Stepy goes somewhere, I'm holding Izzy and then Evie gets on my lap and then I just can't. Can't go anywhere. It's just a whole thing. I know the feeling. I've got a Chihuahua that does me. When I walk to the back door, my wife tells the dog, it's time for dad. Oh, really? And the dog goes and gets up and looks out the back window, and as soon as I'd rub up, he goes berserk. Oh, that's cute. And he meets me at the back door every day. Now, by the way, on my allergy test, I am also very allergic to cats. Yeah. And I have a cat, two cats. Yeah. I'm allergic to it said mold spores. Yeah, I think that bothers mostly everybody. Yeah, but some people are more allergic to. You think we got any mold in this building? I'm just, and I'm allergic to gerbils, which doesn't make any sense. They're like, were you exposed to gerbils as a kid? I was like, no. And they're like, for some reason that came up. And I was like... That's weird. I know. I was like, I don't know. I don't have any gerbils. Never had a gerbil. Maybe your buddy Dale. Oh, okay. That's the, yeah, that's true. He's practically like a gerbil. Yeah, he's, well, he, yeah, I think he's into gerbils. But I was thinking outside of Dale Jackson slowly killing me, this building, isn't it? It's where I work every day. It's slowly, slowly getting me, isn't it? It's little by little. I don't think it's the allergies that are killing you. I think the work's doing it. Oh, okay. With everything going on in the world, everything going on, that's true. When we get back in a couple of minutes, I guess we'll talk more about that. We have the latest of the Graham Platner stuff, which he still wasn't dropped out. I thought by the end of the show, he'd be out. Are we not going to talk about the Epstein files today? No, I mean, he's probably on them. I mean, at this point, if Graham Platner were any X-Team filed. I would certainly believe he would. Anyone be shocked at this point? He's not an upstanding citizen. No, no, no. I don't think so. We still have the way it's going on in Iran. Plus, I do want to talk about a bill that Congressman Dale Strong is putting forward to teach patriotism in schools. You know, when you hear him talk about it.
It's just common sense. It shouldn't even be a big deal. You know, I got up this morning. I was watching Channel 12 News, and they do a thing where a classroom sends in a video doing the Pledge of Allegiance to the flag every morning. And I thought that was so cool. I liked it. I didn't know that. Yeah. That's awesome. That's awesome. All right, we'll be back in a moment here on Yaffe Live. The United States Soccer Federation presents the U.S. Soccer Podcast.
