Welcome to the Vince Coakley Radio program. Glad you are here as we start up for another broadcast week. A lot to talk about during the course of our conversation today. And we began right here in Charlotte with a story that's basically developing all across this country. I'm talking about the so-called no-kings movement. It's kind of interesting this weekend. I had a good friend way back to college days who is retiring from service as a military chaplain. And it was kind of funny on Saturday because I put it on my calendar. And I didn't think anything more about it until I think Friday night I saw, oh my goodness, this is tomorrow. And if you know anything about me, listening to this broadcast, one thing I do not like, road trips, this happens to be in a part of North Carolina that it's about hour and a half away, King, North Carolina, have you ever heard of it? I never heard of King, North Carolina. It's kind of funny, we're talking about no kings. The reason I mentioned this. is I went up to this event, fortunately dragged a friend along to help with the driving, and on the way back, lo and behold, five, ten minutes into the journey, here are all these people standing on the street corner. No king's protesters. I was like, oh my goodness, these people are demonstrating even up here. This is, by the way, I think it's, west of Winston-Salem where this little town is located and I would say there were probably 50 or so people out there we drove by right about the time that they were breaking up but you know in a small town like that that's probably a pretty sizable number of folks showing up for that kind of demonstration as you know there was a bigger celebration In Uptown Charlotte, the observer has extensive coverage on the groups that came together for this. And really, they came together to communicate really a boatload of grievances. Frustration with the Trump administration's military actions in the Middle East, approached immigration, and the crowd heard speeches from local civic organizers and historian and author. Ibram X. Kendi at First Ward Park before March through uptown. It temporarily shut down multiple streets. Have you heard of these groups, by the way? These are the groups involved, local advocacy groups. Indivisible Charlotte. Red, wine, and blue. Common Cause, North Carolina. Carolina Migrant Network.
50501, the Poor People's Campaign, the Charlotte, Metrolina Labor Council, and the Freedom Center. 3,000 of these demonstrations nationwide, according to the No King's Organization. And there were events in Concord, Denver, Fort Mill, Huntersville, Rock Hill, Waxaw. indivisible Charlotte founding director Karen Carolyn Eberley told the crowd at First Ward Park this is how movements grow this is how power is built we keep showing up each time with more friends more neighbors community connection joy solidarity a white house spokesperson Saying the only people who care about these Trump derangement therapy sessions, the reporters who were paid to cover them. A pair of previous No King's Events in Charlotte drew thousands of people. The first two events, largely peaceful. CMPD did use pepper spray on a smaller group of people marching after the official end of the first rally in June and made two arrests. No incidents or arrests during this latest protests. One of the things I thought was really intriguing is I skipped down in the article to this paragraph, which really, it just blows my mind. Saturday's rally also featured an appearance from Kendi, the author of the New York Times bestseller, How to Be an Anti-Racist. Nausea circulating now. After expressing frustration with seeing ice and airports while traveling to Charlotte for the event, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. called on attendees to create a chain of humanity to combat, are you ready for this? Division in politics. We don't have to be misled into believing racial and ethnic and religious and cultural groups are fundamentally separate, that they're fundamentally at political war. And the other group is coming to destroy us. Isn't that what this whole message is about? Paranoia about people causing disunity and attempting to destroy? This is so Orwellian. Absolutely crazy. By the way. This is a place where we're open to conversations. So if you'd like to weigh in on this, if you happen to be on the other side of this issue, I would love to hear what you think these demonstrations actually will accomplish. What is the purpose behind them? If you succeed in your mission, what does it look like? Because I'm convinced, just like so many of these.
activist events it's not the people on the streets we have to be concerned about as much as the people behind the curtains and there are some people behind curtains which we're going to talk about coming up at the heart of all of this has to be an understanding that this is not about even The hatred of Donald Trump. These are folks that will take every single opportunity to undermine our constitutional foundations. That's the goal. Take every single one of these groups. That's what they are out to do. This is not a popular view. I told you I'm rereading the book Creature from Jekyll Island. And I'm reminded again, that one of the most dangerous things in this country is democracy this country is not a democracy and the progressive movement knows that the more we move people away from the constitutional republic foundations of the country the easier their pathway to accomplish their goals of destroying the country
You see, the constitutional barriers, whether it's the electoral college, you know, going back to the days when the Senate was able to have a role in representing states as opposed to people. I think I said this the other day. Just imagine if we had this scenario now. with the government not funding the Homeland Security Department and people were not getting paid. Did you know the states could actually recall years ago? They could recall their senators. You don't have any recourse to recall anybody now. So what did that democracy do for everybody? It put real change out of reach. That's what it did. And this was intentional. What is Toyota fordability? It's buying smart. Your local Toyota dealer has great deals available today on RAV4, Grand Highlander, Camry, and Corolla, with the features and style you deserve. It means driving for less, with hybrid and plug-in hybrid options across the lineup, delivering great MPGs. And it means trading for more. I'm always entertained to learn so many things from you as you engage by phone and on the WBT text line driven by Liberty Buick GMC. I mentioned my... Trip to King North Carolina over the weekend. And this text her writes in, Be glad you weren't in King, North Carolina about 50 years ago. It was a sundown town for blacks. Wasn't much better in the 80s and 90s. That's kind of scary. Wow. Also, we have this text. Chris would like to know, so what do we do, Vince? Sit on our asses and let one man destroy this country? Yeah. I mean, seriously, what do you think he is destroying? I'm very curious about this. What do you think he is destroying? It's, uh, I would be very curious to find out what. That is specifically. Give some examples. And anybody who listens to this program with regularity knows I am not a person who embraces and endorses everything Donald Trump does. It's just, it just doesn't work that way. I do it on a case-by-case, issue-by-issue basis. So I'm open to whatever it is you'd like to share.
On the subject of no kings, I want to take you back to October of 2025 and some really interesting writing that was done by Mike Howe for The Blaze. And the article that he wrote is called No Kings, No Boundaries, No America. And I think those of you who are in the know on this subject, you realize what you're watching is basically a circus on the streets. And the people on the streets, most of them probably have little clue as to what the overall agenda actually is. You don't know what the plan is. All you know is, and right now in this season, it may genuinely be all about hating Trump. So here is how this was characterized back in October because this movement is not new. This is something that's been percolating for quite some time. And it's brought a number of groups who've frankly been around for quite some time together in a coalition. And they all share the same goal, which is, you remember Barack Obama what he said? when he was elected president to fundamentally change America. That's what these folks want to do. They don't like the foundations upon which this country was created on. So what they want to do is piece by piece, tear those foundations apart. I've referred to them as really termites because their goal is to eat away at the foundation. So Mike Hal says foreign networks, domestic mobs, and party endorsements, no kings is the global left's American franchise. Beijing must be proud. If I may insert something here, and I'd encourage you to read this if you haven't already, I went through a season several years ago where I read several books on communism. And it was very enlightening to me to understand that... There's really only one agenda of communism, and that is to build a worldwide communist movement that, and here's the crazy thing that never made sense to me. I could, and not that I would embrace it if it were the case, they're not interested in developing their own American brand of communism or socialism. What was really intriguing to me in this book about communism, their loyalty was to people in the Soviet Union and the Soviet system. Who was it? Was the mayor of New York City, the former mayor, who went on his honeymoon in the Soviet Union? This is what you have to understand about these leftists. They are devoted to the worldwide cause of Marxism. And frankly, the sovereignty and the integrity of the United States of America is not the priority at all.
Let me continue here. 14 years after Occupy Wall Street, five years after the George Floyd riots, the Democratic parties embraced the tactics of the mob. Anyone who hoped the party would retreat from extremism was wrong. The movement calling itself no kings has returned, proving the point. We'll begin as a slogan of defiance now serves as the organizing batter for a political faction that thrives on confrontation, violence, and plausible deniability. The assassination of Charlie Kirk could have been a moment of national reflection, a chance for Democrats to reconsider their indulgence in rhetoric that blurs the line between protests and terrorism. Instead, the party apparatus has chosen escalation. When you tell unstable people, Trump is a fascist, that dissent is violence, and that opposition equals Nazism, don't be shocked when someone acts on it. To understand how this happened, you must understand how the modern left thinks. Progressives treat speech as violence and dissent as an existential threat. Anyone who refuses to affirm their ideology becomes, by definition, an oppressor. From that premise, violence becomes self-defense. If Trump is Hitler, then violence against him or anyone aligned with this cause is not just justified but virtuous. The left's revolutionaries no longer stormed palaces. They dominate the streets. On October 18th, no king's protests will erupt again across the country. What was once the fringe tactic of radicals has become the preferred strategy of the Democrat Party, organized street action modeled on unstable regimes abroad. The backside into mob politics raises tensions at a time of the nation needs prudence. Instead, Democrats seem eager to test how far their own movement will go. After the June 14th protest... Our team of the Oversight Project traced the movement's primary organizing partner, 50501. Remember we mentioned that group? Its presence right here in Charlotte. What we found confirmed the worst suspicions. Demonstrable ties to the Party for Socialism and Liberation, the Democratic Socialists of America, Antifa, and Students for Justice in Palestine. These groups have openly supported violent action or defended authoritarian regimes, including China's Communist Party. Isn't this rich, ladies and gentlemen? So they're in opposition to Donald Trump, but somehow China's Communist Party is defensible.
Mapping their social media connections revealed links to foreign influence networks tied to Chinese propaganda operations. Antifa affiliates have also joined the effort. Circulating merchandise, celebrating Charlie Kirk's death, shirts reading Nazi lives don't matter. Normalize political violence printed with a guillotine. Really nice, peaceful, loving people, aren't they? This is the energy behind no kings. Its rhetoric echoes the Chinese Communist Party's talking points on Tiananmen Square and defends regimes that crush dissent. Some of its alumni have even celebrated the murder of Israeli diplomats. Others maintain direct connections to Neville Singham and Chinese consulate officials. Now, for years, Democrats obsessed over alleged Russian meddling in U.S. politics. You remember they tried to put this around Donald Trump? He was connected to Russia. This was a conspiracy. They were involved in our election to get Donald Trump into office. Yet now they embrace networks steeped in foreign influence to advance their own protest movements. As the Trump administration maps these organizations, many roads will lead overseas. Beijing has long used this method, stoking domestic unrest to weaken rivals from within. The question isn't whether the Democrats know this, it's whether they care.
If you have any doubt about the inroads, this entire No King's movement has made in the Democrat Party, we are really talking about people who are radicals. And by the fact that you've heard no criticism of these folks by the Democrat faithful in terms of the leadership, this tells you they're in full support. Mike Howell ends his piece by asking the question, how did a movement this toxic gain institutional cover from the Democratic establishment? Why do party leaders like Chris Murphy, Chuck Schumer, Bernie Sanders, Eric Swalwell offer it full-throated support? Why do former Republicans like George Conway, Bill Crystal and Joe Walsh, lend their credibility to the cause? because the Democrats have surrendered to their radical base. They've stopped trying to lead it, started following it. Rather than condemn political extremism, they seek to normalize and rebrand it. When Antifa militants show up at Democrat-aligned protests, party leaders feigned surprise. When violence erupts, they retreat to the safety of plausible deniability. It's a tired act, and the public no longer buys it. This explains why Democrats fight so ferociously against classifying Antifa as a domestic or foreign terrorist organization. Trump's National Security Presidential Memorandum directs a whole of government response to domestic extremism. Through the FBI's Joint Terrorism Task Forces, Federal agencies already possessed the tools to investigate, expose, and dismantle these networks. The real question is whether they will use them. A serious enforcement effort would strip away the Democrats' mask of deniability and expose the institutional support behind the violence. It would show that what poses as activism is, in fact, the operational arm of a radicalized political movement. Across the world, major parties have flirted with revolutionary tactics when democracy failed to deliver their goals. It's the oldest temptation in politics, but America is now watching a mainstream party openly indulge in it. Street action, foreign influence, mob intimidation. Those are not signs of progress. They're symptoms of decay. If Democrats continue down this path, they will drag the country with them. The republic cannot survive a ruling class that excuses its own mobs. That's what we're talking about here, folks. Mobs. And the people on the front lines of this, they have no idea why they're out there. They don't, most of them. Love to get your thoughts as we continue the broadcast. What do you think?
Are you a person who supports these folks? Someone sent a very long post, one that I have seen. It's too long to share on this broadcast. I'll share just a portion of it. The modern left's definition of fascism. You love your country? Fascist. You want to enforce the border? Racist. You think parents should raise their kids? Bigot. You want to know who's voting in your elections? Jim Crow. Being patriotic is fascism to the modern left. But every country has borders and enforces them. 176 countries require ID to vote. That's the definition of a country. But the democratic establishment told you otherwise and you believe them. Congress has a 15% approval rating. 80% of Americans disapprove. 97% of incumbents got re-elected. The math ain't math in there, is it? I love these numbers. Chuck Schumer, 46 years longer than Stalin. Steny Hoyer, 45 years longer than Mao. Mitch McConnell, 42 years, five times more than Napoleon. Come on, folks. Who are we freaking kidding? Who are we kidding? These folks have been there forever since the devil was a little boy, and they're still there. Protesting about them? Of course not.
Tracy writes in, exasperated is the best word I can find hearing the broadcast this morning with the judges going left as well as the nuts of the no-kings rally. We need a no-communist rally. United, we stand, divided, we fall. See, and that's the goal. You know this. The goal is to undermine and divide, which is why you have. governments like the Chinese government involved in helping to foment these kinds of activities they're not stupid but these folks out in the street think they're doing something really positive ask yourself how many people are flocking to get into China for freedom how many people do you see doing that Still to come in the broadcast. We've been talking about this government shutdown for weeks. Now a solution in the works to get TSA officers paid. Are they showing up? We'll talk about it as we continue. We'll also talk about the Senate as... They are allegedly coming together today to try to resolve the impasse over funding for DHS, and you'll find out what your favorite senator... In the Poundamado State, what's doing over the weekend just warms your heart. What is Toyota affordability? It's buying smart. Right now, your local Toyota dealer has great deals available on some of the most reliable trucks on the market, like the off-road ready Tacoma, rugged, full-sized tundra, and legendary forerunner, each with the space, tech, and features to handle it all, from the work site to the trails. It means driving for less, with efficient hybrid options available. extending your overall driving range and delivering great MPGs, meaning bigger savings at the pump without sacrificing power. And it means trading for more. Vehicles projected resale value is specific to the 2026 model year. For more information, visit Kelly Blue Books, KB.com. Toyota brand average resale value is 53% versus the average vehicle at 45%. Toyota, let's go places. Over on the WBT text line, driven by Liberty View, GMC, Dave Wright's end. Are you kidding? Trump is a menace to the world. We all need to be out there. You put your ratings in front of your faith. If you can't see that Trump is a menace and needs to be removed, you are lying to yourself. Really? I still have not heard any specifics whatsoever. Zero. Robert writes in, I stand with our forefathers. Good for you.
Another person happy for the TSA. My son works for customs as a forensic scientist. He didn't get any pay. Yeah, I wonder if there are other branches of DHS that are also not getting funded. Dana writes in, I'm not mad at the no king's rally. I think the freedom of speech gives us that. The reason I'm not offended by it. We have a president that's actually acting like a king where he's starting wars, not consulting anyone. And then when he gets in over his head, he's mad because no one else wants to join in with him. This man has said he can take Cuba and do whatever he wants with it. I don't know about you, Vince. Sounds like a person speaking as a king, conquering. And I will give you that. There are times. And I've said this before. Some of his communications are just, they're horrible. And we pointed that out. You may have been listening the day that I made reference to that. And I actually had people push back for saying something about it. It just blows my mind. You can't do that with anybody. I don't care who it is. You cannot give someone carte Todd Blanche to do whatever they want. And that's pretty much what Donald Trump said. He can do whatever he wants. with Cuba. That's not what I'm looking for. Not a healthy perspective at all. So we have, at the time where the Department of Homeland Security remains without funding, we have a Senate that has decided to go on recess. Wonderful, isn't it? Recess. What are they, children? In fact, Senator Lindsey Graham was seen at Disney World as the shutdown of the Department of Homeland Security continues. Graham was reportedly photographed having breakfast at Chef Mickey's at the contemporary resort at Disney World, according to TMZ. The South Carolina Senator explained that he was invited to a meeting in South Florida with U.S. envoy Steve Witkoff to talk about the possibility of normalization between Saudi Arabia and Israel. We're told Lindsay talked to the staff who tucked him away at a back table. He went to the buffet line, which is much shorter than the TSA lines around the country, grabbed some grub and chowed down. An eyewitness told us Lindsay was having a grand old time chatting with a younger woman and a kid at a table. Graham tells TMC I was invited to a meeting in South Florida on Friday with Trump official Steve Witkoff. To talk about the possibility of normalization between Saudi Arabia and Israel, I went to Orlando to meet friends after that. I'm already back in South Carolina. Graham. At Disney World. As you know, the House voted on Friday to pass a short-term bill to fund DHS. Under the short-term bill, the entire department, including immigration and customs enforcement, would be funded for roughly 60 days. Why do they keep doing this? And we're going to have this all over again in 60 days. It will also return the issue of funding DHS back to the Senate, which, as I mentioned, has left for a two-week recess.
I'm not even going to bother saying stupid stuff about, you know, they shouldn't get paychecks either. You know, at this point, this is a lost cause. It really is. And I've gone on record telling you what I think of John Thune and the whole crew in the U.S. Senate. These folks are not conservatives. And the fact that Donald Trump is in office makes absolutely no difference whatsoever. They're doing what they've been doing all along, which is a lot of nothing. A whole lot of nothing. On the TSA subject, by the way, TSA agents are one step closer to getting paid, finally. White House borders are Tom Homan, said on CNN State of the Union on Sunday. He expects paychecks to go out to TSA officers as early as today or tomorrow. He said he talked to Markwayne Mullin. There's a plan to get these TSA agents pay. It's good news because these TSA officers are struggling. They can't feed their families or pay their rent. Your heart goes out to them because they're sitting there right now, working very hard, not getting paid while members of Congress are on vacation and getting paid. It's ridiculous. TSA officers have been working without pay for more than 40 days since this DHS shutdown started February 14th. An emergency order was signed Friday directing DHS to pay TSA agents immediately. The funds expected to come from last year's one big beautiful bill act. However, Even with pay restored, relief at airports may not come right away. Nearly 500 officers have already quit during the shutdown, and it takes four to six months to train a replacement. These allergies are absolutely killing me. Are they driving you up the wall as they are driving me up the wall? Absolutely crazy stuff. So hopefully. The money is on the way, and we'll see these TSA officers get what is due them. And frankly, I hope these politicians get what is due them. I won't finish that sentence. Anyway, still to come. We'll talk about war. the preparations for possible ground activity in the Middle East from our soldiers. And an interesting conversation over the weekend with JD Vance in an interview, he had some pretty interesting things to say about Ilhan Omar. And the possibility some action may be taken regarding her immigration fraud.
We'll talk about this and more as we continue our broadcast. Hour number two, it's straight ahead. hour number two of the Vince Coakley radio program over on the WBT text line driven by Liberty Buick GMC we have this from Stephen who would like to know about what's going on with TSA what are the lines like now our employees back at work I fly out Wednesday morning my understanding is we've not had significant issues here at all so I think you should be okay and with the pipeline opened up for money to start flowing again to employees, I think it can only get better. That would be my expectation. So hopefully, smooth sailing for you by the time you travel on Wednesday. Also on the text line, Vince, just curious, how many days has this Congress worked? They've closed a lot this year. Check the days for us, asking for a friend. You know, I don't even know if the number of days they've worked matters as much as what have they done. Because I don't think it's been much of anything. Just what I suspect anyway. I liked Mick Mulvaney's comment this morning. If TSA isn't important enough to fund, then why do we need them? Ooh. Pretty brutal. And this is part of a bigger discussion. I think it's time to have that discussion about whether we should go back to letting the states handle this and privatizing it and taking one thing. See, I'm all for taking stuff away from federal government. The less these people manage the better because they do a horrible job. Not only do they have us in deficit spending. They just do stupid stuff like this, this whole shutdown thing, which is completely unnecessary. And at the end of the day, it will accomplish nothing. Absolutely nothing. So let's go to Mindful Monday. I want you to reflect on something interesting happening within our culture. I think many of you have heard stats like this for a while, but there is a, and I don't mind saying this, there's a demonic attack on the family. The root of this, you know, there are political people who are trying to undermine the family, different activist groups, but at the end of the day, it goes to one place. To borrow the world the words of the church lady. Could it be Satan? Yes, it is. It really is. Because the thing he does not want are stable families. Married couples who stay together forever, who raise children.
He doesn't want people committed to that. He wants a bunch of individuals pursuing their own individual's selfish interest. That's what he wants. That's a pathway to self-destruction. I want you to ponder this thought. In 1980, 85% of women were married by the age of 30. 85%. You know what that figure is now? It's 46%. Women are putting off marriage, marrying later and later and having children later. Marriage patterns have shifted dramatically over the past few decades. In the United States, around 1980, most women were married by 30, reflecting earlier average marriage ages and stronger social expectations around settling down young today. Far fewer women marry before 30 as people pursue education, careers, and financial stability before committing to marriage. Now, is it to say all of those things are bad? Of course not. It is to say that these things do not have to be mutually exclusive. How did people function before? How do they pursue education, careers, financial stability before? It's happened before. And I think there's something else that is diabolical in all of this. And I've said this. A number of times before and I don't think people get the irony of this so many women think they are free because they have the ability to get into the workplace and pursue careers Think about this years ago all it required was one salary one And now this system, this diabolical system that we've got now, financial system, has both the man and the woman burning the candle at both ends and still struggling. So there's a very deep issue at work here. And I think the deep issue is our financial system, again, I don't want this to be a dead horse. If you not read it, read the creature from Jekyll Island. I am reading this a second time and I'm still just blown away by what has been done to undermine the value of our currency. That's not ours in the first place. And our buying power, our spending power, our earning power, it's all been eaten away. by a diabolical banking system so those of you who think you've hit the lottery because ooh now we have two salaries and now in some cases you can't even accomplish with two what you were able to do many years ago with just one who's gotten fooled here who's been sold a bill of goods
I would contend much of America has bought into a very deceptive effort to really undermine the family as a very core to shift our values away from what really matters onto a desperate. effort to just survive. Pretty unfortunate, isn't it? Over on the text line, Chris writes in, Congress is a joke. It's why Trump didn't even bother to go through them when it came to going to war. You know, there's something to be said for that. What kind of a conversation would we have? Well, we have people who would have the courage of their convictions, one way or the other. I don't know that especially the Republicans want to go on the record on any of this stuff. See, I think this is one of the reasons why they're not going to touch it at the end of the day. Nobody wants to undermine the family. What is wrong with you? I'm as left-wing liberal as you can get. I appreciate my family. I love my family and all. My friends feel the same way. Yeah. How do you explain this? And again, I'm not even, see, I didn't even make this primarily a political thing. I said it's a spiritual thing that we have moved away from, a focus on marriage and family, onto other things. So Vince, young people nowadays don't even bother to get married. One of my children is 40 years old. And on shack up number four, oh my goodness. It's very disheartening for parents when you've raised your children in church taught them right. And yeah, my heart goes out to you because at the end of the days, you know, you can't control your children. You can do the best. And, you know, I've seen... Both ends of this where parents have done everything right and the kids just go off the rails. Then I've seen situations where horrible parents are in the picture. And somehow the kids turn out okay. So I hope you are not punishing yourself or making yourself feel guilty. Above everything. Pray. Pray. Pray for that child to come to a place of recognizing the importance of marriage and family. Toyota, let's go places. 20 minutes after 11 o'clock, Vince Coakley Radio program. Let's go out to a call from, let's see. We have Fred on the line. Good morning and welcome, Fred. Good morning, Dan. Yes, sir. Hi.
I am calling about the things, the adversity in the Senate, and we know it, they're hung up, and we feel like they're not doing enough. But I would like to hear Boar talk about what is the difference between the Republican position and the Democrat position. I don't, we're just saying they can't agree, but one is the things that they cannot agree. There's a couple things like voter ID, I guess. There's other things about masks that the ICE agents wear. Would you like to expound on that? Sure, absolutely. You really have two issues you're talking about here. With the bill itself to fund DHS, the central issue, what this is supposedly about from the Democrat perspective, they do not want to fund the Department of Homeland Security. They want to use that as leverage to try to get reforms within ICE. Now, one of the ironies of this is ICE is funded, I believe, for several years. So it's kind of silly in that sense. They really don't have any leverage from that vantage point. The other issue you mentioned in terms of voter ID, there's an effort by Donald Trump to combine these pieces of legislation. He would like to see them get rid of the filibuster if necessary. and passed this legislation that would require voter ID nationally. And he'd basically like to make this a two-for. Get it all done in one fell swoop. And it's, you know, this has been taken by some as a poison pill with the idea of, you know, there's really no way that Democrats are ever going to go for that. So those are the issues at stake. Well, the voter ID is pretty important. And I heard someone say recently that of 174 countries in the world, those require voter ID before voting. In North Carolina, I didn't see any kind of a problem there. But it's kind of a no-brainer, isn't it? Big pardon? It's kind of a no-brainer, isn't it? Well, it is. And I just, if I'm a Democrat, I hate to see the Democrats run down if they've got a good idea, but if I'm a Republican, which I am, I hate to see all of these people, you know, the Republicans painted wrong because they're holding out for something that is good, common sense law. Yeah, pretty simple, isn't it? And this is what's so frustrating about this, that there's, I don't know ultimately what is to be gained by this. I don't know how else to describe it. Fred, very much appreciate your call. I think you're looking at this like a regular, sensible human being. And frankly, this is not how a lot of people think.
We've kind of moved beyond the era of common sense and logical thinking. Over on the WBT text line, Trey writes in, modern feminism has made women not marriage worthy. I'm sure some women would love to weigh in on that subject. Jeff Vince, if we don't get permission to go to war from Congress, How will they know what stocks to invest in? Jeff. Oh, that is too funny. Vince, undermining the family began with NAFTA and the feds deciding to export a manufacturing and promote the idea of managerial class by pushing higher education to people who couldn't afford to buy a degree. You know, you've hit on something, Holly, unfortunately, that's reality. It's, uh, and it's all about. selling out to the educational establishment, which is not really about educating people. It's really all about employing people and providing job security for people in this particular class. That's how this thing works. Scott writes in, Vince, I was maybe 22 years old, being a small business owner, I got a tape mail to me about Jekyll Island. It was that day I knew I'd stay a business owner. Eye opening now at 54. Yeah. It's pretty amazing to see how the decay has certainly increased since the time you read that. What was the name of the book about eroding our currencies called The Creature from Jekyll Island? Please check it out if you have not already. Angel, I think the problem with marriage, outside of the money aspect, the division between the invisible labor that most women take on and are judged by, only because that's just how it's been. Women like myself would like to have a partner that I don't have to tell him what to do. He should be able to function as an adult without the honey-do list. Just my opinion. Not saying all men. You know, Angel, you have hit something on the head, and that is... There's something that's been missing in how men have been trained. And this is a problem. This is the flip side of the argument that women do not want to marry a man child. They don't. And I think that's what you're trying to communicate here. Makes sense. Dean. Things that will never be. The war with Iran will be over quickly. We will never put troops on the ground. We'll ensure Iran will be a lasting democracy. We'll never find 200 billion to fund a war, but no money to pay workers to provide basic services. The government will ever put the people they serve first. That are a national debt. We'll see 30 trillion before 60 trillion. The media will report the half full part of the glass. Another person. It's simple. Dana says, men aren't getting married anymore because they stand to lose half of everything that they've accumulated, even if the woman cheated or just decides to leave. She's guaranteed to at least half, even with a pension that's coming to him later on. She's entitled to half of that as well. Yep. I've heard that concern.
And Steve writes in, events bottom line of the voter issue, Democrats don't want it codified into federal law that they do not want. This, you know, it's very important to have the ability, the means to be able to cheat. And it's hard to do when you have to verify a person's existence. It's really amazing how basic things like this have become a problem. I'm sure by now you have seen and heard the stories about the number of troops we've got in the mid-east, 50,000 American troops there, 50,000. Some of the drudge headlines on this, Trump approval rating, 33%. Iran warns invaders face fire. What does that mean? Pete Hegseth praises Jesus. I had a friend who had a very interesting perspective on this. Gosh, I don't even want to go down this road. Perhaps we'll talk about it another day. Russia sharing satellite images F-16 scramble above Mar-a-Lago. Oil opens the week up, surprise, surprise. So we have these troops in the Middle East. What are they there for? Is this going to be a continued push-button operation, something conducted from the air, or ultimately? Are we going to put boots on the ground? One of the questions floating out there. Well, Breitbart reports something interesting. U.S. Marines and paratroopers are conducting drills for chemical and nuclear hazards en route to the Mideast. The Marines and the paratroopers who could be sent into combat in Iran are conducting CBRN, chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear safety drills at their bases in Europe and abort ship as they sail to the Middle East. Can I just remind you, pray for our men and women who are in the region or headed that way? The National reported Friday advance units of paratroopers from the 82nd Airborne Division flown from America to Europe to prepare for possible deployment in Iran have been supplied with detection systems, gas masks, and protective mop coveralls. Mop refers to mission-oriented protective posture suits. They're essentially hazmat suits for soldiers. The alerts are issued in various levels requiring heavier amounts of protective gear as the anticipated hazard condition grows more serious. Retired U.S. Marine Officer Jonathan Hackett told the National the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit is practicing CBRN drills on deck as we speak as they head for the Middle East aboard the amphibious assault ship USS Tripoli.
A relatively small aircraft carrier that transports Marines and their support equipment's conflict zones. The CBRN unit can also be scaled up in size, but the conventional Marine forces will have their CBRN gear and be drilling on it with 15 seconds to get mask and mop on when someone shouts, gas, gas, gas. Disturbing, isn't it? But this is what they have to be prepared for. Who knows what the Iranians may do? Military analysts and hazardous material specialists said there are several potential hazard scenarios in Iran, including damage to Iran's nuclear power plant. Iran's elusive stockpile of near weapons grade uranium. inadvertent breaches of bunkers where Iran stores chemical weapons left over from the Iran-Iraq war in the 80s and the worst-case scenario a desperate Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps loading chemical or biological payloads into its missiles
You should know that Iran also helped Syrian dictator Bashar al-Assad develop his chemical weapons. Some analysts fear Iran might have reclaimed some of Bashar al-Assad's inventory after he was driven from power back December 2024. Lenny Phillips, a chemical weapons specialist telling the national they may well still be on basis somewhere. but it's stronger than hearsay that some of these chemical weapons actually moved eastward and are now either in Iraq or Iran. Iran is known to have conducted research into biological weapons during the Iran-Iraq war, even though Iran signed the Biological Weapons Convention in 1973, six years before the revolution brought the current Islamic regime to power. I'm sure... You don't put a lot of stock in this. I certainly don't. Iran's bioweapons program seems especially interested in developing anthrax, reportedly conducting much of the work in underground Syrian laboratories during Bashar al-Assad's reign. The U.S. State Department warned back in 2019, Iran was still conducting research and development of biological agents and toxins for offensive purposes. In 2025, the Office of the Director of National Intelligence upgraded this warning to say Iran very likely aims to continue R&D of chemical and biological agents for offensive purposes. So I remind you again. Please pray for the men and women who are either in the Middle East now or on the way. and pray for wisdom for the president. See, he makes some monumental decisions in the coming days. Love to get your thoughts on what's happening and on Donald Trump's polling numbers. Does this surprise you? What is Toyota affordability? Final stretch of the broadcast on this Monday, and this is a social media post Donald Trump put out, I believe, this morning. The United States of America is in serious discussions with a new and more reasonable regime to end our military operations in Iran. Great progress has been made, but if for any reason a deal is not shortly reached, which it probably will be. And if the Hormuz Strait is not immediately open for business, we will conclude our lovely stay in Iran by blowing up and completely oblitering all of their electric generating plants, oil wells, and Cog Island, and possibly all desalinization plants. which we have purposefully not yet touched. This will be in retribution for our many soldiers and others that Iran has butchered and killed over the old regime's 47-year reign of terror. Thank you for your attention to this matter, President Donald J. Trump. So he is saying he's dealing with some reasonable people. Who are these people? And is this actually going to end in a deal? And very soon, that is the question. Earlier I talked about troops. I also talked about the possibility of some very unfortunate munitions they could face, biological, chemical in nature. And then we throw this on top. Donald Trump is seriously weighing a military operation to extract nearly a thousand pounds of highly enriched uranium from Iran, insisting Tehran must surrender what he called the regime's nuclear dust or face annihilation. This was according to report published Sunday night. The Wall Street General reports Trump has not made a final decision, but remains open to a risky mission that could place American forces inside Iran for days or longer. To secure material, he's made clear Tehran cannot be allowed to keep. Trump reinforced that position hours later aboard Air Force One, warning Iran must do what the United States demands or they're not going to have a country. Referring to the uranium, he added. They're going to give us the nuclear dust. The report said Trump has encouraged advisors to press Iran to hand over the materials, part of any settlement ending the conflict, while also discussing the possibility of taking it by force if Tehran refuses. Hmm. Are they going to comply in this particular area? And then we have... The ongoing issue many of us have wondered about for years. Years. Elon Musk Omar. We've heard the stories about her questionable immigration status, stories about her marrying her brother, participating in immigration fraud. Interestingly enough,
The vice president, JD Vance, was interviewed by Benny Johnson. And here is what he had to say about Ilhan Omar. Immigration fraud going on here. These are deportable denaturalization offenses. Can you give us an update on that? Yeah, so we actually think that Ilhan Omar definitely committed immigration fraud against the United States of America. And I talked to Steve Miller about this actually recently. We're trying to look at what the remedies are. That's the thing that we're trying to figure out is what are the legal remedies now that we know that she's committed immigration fraud. How do you go after her? How do you investigate her? How do you actually do the thing? How do you build a case? necessary to get some justice for the American people. There's a related issue, Benny, which is she has been at the center of a lot of the worst fraudsters in the Somali community. So do I know that Ilyne Omar was aware that the quality leering center was defrauding the American people? I'm not certain of it, but we at least need to investigate it because if people can commit wrongdoing without even the fear that they're going to be found out, That's a fundamental problem. So I'm worried about the immigration fraud. I'm also worried about what did Ilhan Omar know about what was happening in the Somali community and why was nobody looking into it until, frankly, Donald Trump gave along. Very good questions there. Very good questions. And at this point, we don't have any good answers. I mean, this to me is not personal, but I... I think it's absolutely disgusting to see what has happened with this woman who, everything I see out of her is at the very core. It's anti-American. And there's a contempt for our American system. It just blows my mind that people like this are getting elected. But as we continue to find ourselves colonized, yes, we are seeing certain areas of our country colonized. These are people who have really a devotion to an ideological base, which is outside of that that is in the best interests of the United States of America. And we better wake up to this and do something about it. Otherwise. There could be very serious consequences. Very serious consequences. Over on the WBT text line, driven by Liberty, Puech, M.C. Chris writes in about Donald Trump. They did everything to destroy him from 2015 through Butler, Pennsylvania, raided, convicted, investigated for treason, impeached twice so far. Trump waited until 2025 to go back on what he ran on and to betray his base. The very same man. Whoever this man is, he is not Trump. You know, this is interesting because I have seen an increasing number of people who are jumping off the Trump train because they feel like they have been forsaken.
That's what we're seeing in Iran is not a manifestation of an America First policy. There are folks who believe that we are actually putting someone else's interests ahead of our own. What do you think about that? Text her right in, rights in. You left out. Democrats slipped in $0 for the border. In this bill, the Senate passed at 3 a.m. Doesn't surprise me at all. On relationships, Vince, only half if they have been married for at least five to ten years, the men that worry about this barely have aluminum foil while claiming that we're gold digging. Dana with a voter idea issue. Is it a valid picture ID? Or in some cases, do you have to have other identification as well as that picture ID in order to vote? In some cases, where they're going to ask for more than a driver's license, I think that may be somewhat of why they're hesitant about the bill. Please clarify. I think it's just to, with your registration, to verify who you are. The actual voting would be the use of a regular ID. That's really that simple. Ian writes in, thankful for marrying way beyond my class. Married a nice Jewish doctor. Happily rendering my services as daddy, houseboy, lawn boy, and boy toy. Any marriage with people starting his best friends can work. By comparison, my first marriage failed when my ex and I realized we love the idea of marriage more than each other. Good health and God bless. Wow, that's a mouthful there. The idea of marriage loved more than each other. Tell the family courts change on keeping fathers away from their children. Men don't want to get married. Also, we need mandatory DNA testing done before any father can sign a birth certificate for both married and single men. Tell Pete Hegseth, as long as the devil's name never comes up, all the blame will go to God. Isn't that the truth? And Mark writes in, oh my gosh. That skip that one. Mike writing in. About the conversation about Fred, it does sound simple. When you say all the House Republicans won is voter ID, a problem, it's a big one. It's not just voter ID, which most states now have anyway. It's requiring hundreds of thousands and maybe tens of thousands of voters to go get additional documentation to prove they are citizens. Why do they want millions of eligible voters to jump through hoops to solve the problem of non-citizen voting? It's already a felony and doesn't really exist. And why is TSA funding being held hostage by something totally unrelated like the SAVE Act? That's a very valid question that you pose, Mike. And that is all the time we have for the broadcast. We very much appreciate you joining us. Have yourselves an awesome day and God bless you. Adios.
