Today's entry for Truth of Troll comes from Speaker Mike Johnson. During a press conference yesterday, he offers his thoughts on President Trump possibly running for a third term in office in 2028. Well, there is the 22nd Amendment. I spoke with the President about an hour ago. It's late in the evening in Japan. He's working around the clock, serving the American people. He doesn't stop. Talk about someone who works around the clock. And as Chairman Flueger mentioned a moment ago, and as we've reiterated in here so many times, you're looking at the split screen because under President Trump, the Republican Party, has delivered. It's been a great run. But I think the president knows, and he and I've talked about the constrictions of the Constitution, as much as so many American people lament that, the Trump 2028 cap is one of the most popular that's ever been produced, and he has a good time with that trolling the Democrats, whose hair is on fire about the very prospect.

So that's an interesting one there. I mean, is he trolling about the trolling, I guess? Is really the question? No, he's trolling. He's obviously trolling. But I just, they're having fun. That's the thing that's just funny, you know? It's like, you know, it's like, it's just, they're playing it beautifully. I really got to give them, I got to give them their due. And not just Trump. I mean, you know, Mike Johnson was not known for having a good sense of humor. But even on this one, he's actually funny. I can't believe I'm saying this. But, you know, oh, as a 20, Trump, 2028, that's the best selling cap of them all. You know, I know he's got constitutional prohibitions there, but oh, boy, is he setting the Democrats' hair on fire? It's driving the Dems insane. So, no, I do think he's, I think they're trolling, Mike, but that's me. That's me, Mike. There are single women with children who are struggling to make ends meet. I understand. You need SNAP. You need these food stamps. If you need food assistance, let me know. And I will do everything in my power to help, and I will ask people in the audience to help.

So let's be reminiscent that this weekend and next week, there could be Americans, our fellow Americans, fellow members of Cooner Country, who may be going hungry. So let's help them out. Angelo, please pick up where you left off. Absolutely, Jeff. The people, you know, a lot of people in need, you know, believe it or not, they're hard work. And it's so expensive out there that they can't get the food they need and they do need that little extra help. So that being said, they are proud people just like we would be in the need. Don't be afraid to ask your neighbor if you need help, especially if you have children. I'm sure. Democrat or not, you'll step up to help out. And, you know, let's curb what the Democrats are trying to do. They're squeezing the people actually trying to control them by starving them. And they know what was going to happen in the weeks to come. This is part of their plan. They're devious people and what a sin that they have to be that way. Imagine what we could get done if everybody worked together as true Americans and help out one another the way you're supposed to. But hopefully, you know, MAGA will help out and everybody will help out the people in need. And if you don't know anybody in need, go to a local pantry or whatever and make a donation or drop off some groceries or whatever you can do to help because this is serious stuff for the people really in need. The free ride is they'll get by because they know the angles every way and out in any way. But the people that are hard working and really need it are the people that... are honest, pay their taxes, do the right thing, and they're the ones that are hurting. The other people that are fraudsters will get by thick and thin. They know what to do. What do you say about that? I agree, Angelo, really. I agree with you. And look, I know there are members of this audience. Again, they're the working poor. They're the ones I really feel bad for. They're not, you know, like these illegals or some of these migrants that come here and just sit down and watch TV and live off the fat of the land. They work very hard. And many of them are single mothers in particular. They work. They got to raise their children. They need that extra supplemental income. That's food. They need it. 617-266. 68 is the number. Okay. Let me ask all of you this. This threat now that you're seeing from millions, I mean literally millions, they're flooding TikTok, they're flooding social media, they're flooding Instagram. I don't think they're bluffing. Some may be, but many of them are not. They look very serious to me who are saying that if the food stamp benefits are cut off, which they're expected to be Friday at 1201 a.m., which would be sorry, Saturday.

of 1201 a.m. literally Friday at midnight, November 1st, which is, you know, Halloween is this Friday, the 31st, and Saturday is the first. So on Saturday, the food stamp benefits are going to stop flowing to millions and millions of Americans. 42 million, almost 43, are now on food stamps. They're going to go to the supermarket. They're going to go to the grocery store. They're going to go to the convenience store. And they say, we're just going to steal. We're going to loot. We're going to plunder. We're going to take. And don't get in our way because we're going to, as they said, we're going to punch you in the face. And if you keep us out of the grocery store, we're going to go to people in the parking lot and grab their grocery bags, you know, full of food. We're going to just grab them out of their arms because we're not going hungry. And it's the entitlement, it's the dependence, it's the brazenness, their willingness to just commit crimes, but also how they just have no sense of feeding themselves and feeding their children. How without that debit card, without that EBT, they're lost. It's anarchy. They're lost. They just, they have to, they're going to charge into stores and just start grabbing food. And the concept of, you know, personal responsibility and self-help and, you know, you work and you make money and you, you know, you buy your own groceries and you feed your own family. It's like your sense of self-preservation. It's been erased from them. I want to read to you a really, really good text. You can text the Cooner Man, 70470, 70470. It is from 603. And this is what 603 writes. And it's one of the most profound insights I've ever read from any caller. It's really, it is profound, it's brilliant, and it captures human nature. And it really shows you now the evils of socialism, how evil it is, and especially a welfare state that's out of control. And that's essentially, you know, what we have. Jeff, this comment is not regarding the elderly or the infirmed or the truly downtrodd. In the words, the genuine poor or the genuine needy. This is biblical. Think about how profound this is.

For even when we were with you, we commanded you this. The one who is unwilling to work shall not eat. In other words, you don't work. I want you to understand. You're going to go hungry. And in a sense, you deserve to go hungry. Now, and the texter continues, hunger is a strong motivator, Jeff. And hunger has a way to tame a man's pride. Brilliant. Absolutely brilliant. Where's the pride? I don't get my food stamps. I'm going to go loot the grocery store. I don't get my EBT charged up. I'm going to the parking lot. And I'm going to take from people who work, who have bought groceries, and I'm going to literally steal their food out of their arms. And don't you get in my effing way, as they put it. Where's the pride? But more than that, look what the welfare state is done. Again, the successive welfare state. I'm not talking about helping genuine people in need. But this word becomes a lifestyle, where it's your whole life. The instinct for self-preservation, it's gone. You can't survive. You literally can't survive. Instead of saying, I should get a job. Man, I should work. Maybe, I don't know, grow a garden as well. Maybe plan for bad days. It's just, it's gone. It's just gone. And it's almost like reducing us to, to an animal state. A quick story. I was a municipal employee for many years. 20 years ago, I got injured. I was on workman's comp. I read the tour. I had four operations on my eye. I was on workman's comp. Workman's comp after three years reduces your pay. When you're on workman's comp, you only get 60% of your pay, which is bad enough. On top of that, to force you back to work, when you're not healthy enough to go back to work, they cut you down and they force you to go in front of the Industrial Accident Board for an appeal, which took me 10 months. And I lived on $89 a week back in 2008. Okay? I went to the Democratic mayor, the Democratic state representative, and the Democratic congresswoman, Catherine Clark. And guess what? No help. No help. So it's been broken for years. And I have a message for all these people. And I didn't riot. I didn't rob people. I picked up my big boy pants and I suffered it out. And guess what? Ten months later, I won. And I got, well, it's rightfully mine. But I had a weight. I had to suffer it out. But I didn't rob anybody. I didn't go into the stores and loot. And I have a message for everybody out there that want to do this nonsense in looting and riding. Why don't they go to the people that are causing the problem? Park their butts outside their houses and their offices and get the food from them. Let's see what happens. Let's see if the Democrats want, you know what will happen? They'll arrest those people because they're bothering the Democrats. Let's have the plan backfire on them. Well, you know, Eddie, the other thing that people can do is go to a food bank. I mean, this idea that, you know, look, I don't want anybody to not get their food stamps. I don't. I don't want to, come on, I'm looking at some women with children, and I'm like, come on, I don't want them to not have breakfast. I don't want them to not have a, you know, a peanut butter sandwich or, you know, whatever you feed your child. It breaks my heart, especially for an American. To me, I'm sorry, that's unacceptable. But there are food banks, a lot of food banks, and they have a lot of food.

And so instead of looting, and you're right, Eddie, look, you didn't loot. And I commend you. You didn't steal. I commend you. 617, 266, 68 is the number. Okay, you want to see how sleazy Morahili is and all these Democrat governors. They're all doing the exact same thing. So this is now the letter that was sent out. by the Healy administration to food stamp recipients all across the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. So this is now what they're, all these SNAP beneficiaries, all these people now that are worried, they're going to lose their food stamps in a couple days on Saturday. So this is now what they're, this is literally what they're now being told straight from the governor. Quote, okay? Quote. to all snap card holders. Quote, President Trump is currently choosing to not issue November SNAP benefits that help you and many families put food on the table. You also may have your benefits further cut starting in November because of changes congressional Republicans and President Trump enacted in the quote unquote one big beautiful bill. President Trump is currently choosing to not issue November SNAP benefits that help you and many families put food on the table. And then, by the way, then going saying, you know, you may have your benefits further cut starting in November because of changes, congressional Republicans and President Trump enacted in the one big beautiful bill. Okay, number one, in the one big beautiful bill, there's only one group that is going to be denied food stamps or snap benefits. Illegal aliens. Illegals. That's it. That's it. If you're an American citizen, nothing happens to you. If you're a, let's say a legal resident, a green card holder, which by the way, I don't think you should be getting snap benefits, but let that go, you get your food stamps. So if you are legally in the United States, You're a legal resident of the United States. You're a U.S. citizen. Nothing happens to your food stamps. You don't get a penny cut. Nothing. It's only denying food stamps to illegals. Who, by the way, it's against the law to give them snap or any other kind of welfare benefit.

That's it. So this idea that all your benefits may be further cut because of the Republicans in that bill. No, only to the illegals. Saturday, July 25th. But the biggest one, which party for 13 straight times has voted to shut the government down?

Was it Trump? The Republicans? Eh, it was Healy. And the Democrats. It was Chuck Schumer. This is the Chuck Schumer shutdown. The Democrats voted 13 consecutive times to keep the government shut down. And by the way, just so that everybody knows. The demo, just the one yesterday, the most recent vote, okay? Had they just voted yesterday to reopen the government, boom. Your food stamps, snap benefits would have been flowing this Saturday. Nobody would be going hungry. Nobody. 54 voted in favor to open the government, including John Fetterman. So you have a bipartisan majority, and this has been the case all 13 times, a bipartisan majority or voting to open the government. Every vote against was a Democrat. You need 60 to break the filibuster, so 54 is not enough. But the fact of the matter is a majority in the House voted for a clean resolution, a clean CR. Again, majority. A majority in the Senate voted for a clean CR to fund the whole government, including food stamps, air traffic controllers get paid, federal employees get paid, everybody gets paid. There's no problem. The Democrats have voted against every single time. This is their shutdown. They own this. I mean, the votes are undeniable. And to even add to this, I played you the Catherine Clark cut earlier, where she says, well, people have to suffer. That's the only way we can have leverage. Okay. Listen now. This is Senator Chris Coons of Delaware. Okay, this guy. He said the quiet part. He was on C-SPAN. And he's going on. Now, this is denying snap benefits. So, you know, people, literally, Democrats are calling into C-SPAN, and they're saying, I'm on food stamps. What am I going to do on Saturday? How do I feed my family, EG? And you Democrats keep voting to shut the government down. Listen to Coons' response. He's saying the quiet part as openly and nakedly and explicitly as possible. Roll cut 16, Mike. Republicans control the House, the Senate, and the White House. Frankly, this is our only moment of leverage. And although a very unpleasant tool to use. An unpleasant tool to use? Why don't you go hungry? See how you feel. You know, every member of the Senate, they get paid. Every member of the House, they get paid. All these sleazy politicians, they get paid. They're not going without a paycheck. He's going to stuff his face on Saturday and Sunday and Monday and Tuesday. So it's a very unpleasant tool. You're going to have to starve. But hey, whatever it takes. So, look.

Let me lay it out. As the Germans would say, let's put our cards on the table. This is deliberate on the part of Democrats. And they know it. They want the food stamps to run out. This is deliberate. They want to cause as much pain, as much hunger, as much fear, as much suffering as possible. Why? Because they want millions of people on food stamps to crash the grocery stores and the supermarkets and the convenience stores. And to see fights in aisles, fights with employees, police coming in and arrest them, people taking their, getting their groceries stolen in the parking lots, and then say, look at what Trump's America is doing. They want to foment riots. They want looting and say, my God, people are going hungry. Look what this man has done. This is beyond irresponsible. This is beyond reckless. This is to me, honestly, it is so un-American.

This is a moral abomination. You don't play with people's stomachs. You don't play with their children going hungry. And over what? Again, you have to ask yourself, over what? What is this big, this is the hill now you're willing to die on? Hundreds of billions of dollars? in taxpayer-funded, quote-unquote, free health care for illegal aliens? That's the hill you're willing to die on? By the way, please, you have to hear this. Okay, I'm going to go right back to the phones. You have to hear this. So they had a big meeting. And there's some very powerful public sector unions. The American Federation of Government Employees, they're a huge public sector union, has now come out and given the order to Dick Durbin, the number two, Democrat in the Senate, right after Chuck Schumer, saying, this shutdown is killing our members. We want you to end the shutdown now. You vote for a clean CR. In other words, capitulate. Capitulate. The Republicans have won, accept reality. Capitulate. So now they're feeling a lot of pressure from their union membership. So they're now negotiating behind the scenes. Do you know what Hakeem Jeffries and Senator Chuck Schumer? For them, we're saying, look, we have to have this or else this shutdown is going to continue. You know what their non-negotiable was? You can read it. It's everywhere. The story broke everywhere. Four million dollars. Four million. Gay rights to promote gay rights in Lithuania. To promote transgenderism in Serbia. To push circumcisions, to pay for male circumcisions in Zambia. In Zambia.

LGBTIQIA awareness in Eastern Europe and Africa. So we're going to let people go, our own people go hungry. Well, yeah, I mean, hey, if we don't have the Serbs transitioning from male to female or female to male, or, hey, if the Lithuanians aren't on board, you know, on board, you know, if they're not on board with the pride parade, then you keep this thing shut down. These people are sick. They're sick. To the Republicans hold the line. And when Saturday arrives, you tell the American people, we voted again. Reopen the government. You get your food stamps. They're the ones who are voting against the food stamps. By the way, Republicans have voted to pay the air traffic controllers. Democrats voted against it. Republicans voted to pay our military. They voted against it. The Republicans have voted to pay every single federal employee, federal government worker. Democrats voted against it. Sandy?

That's right. Republicans, good point. Republicans voted, they said, here, I'll tell you what, we're going to vote for the food stamps. We'll vote for the food stamps. In other words, everybody gets the food stamps. Okay, the government stays shut down because you guys want to shut it down. But foodstaff beneficiaries, you're going to get your, you know, your 350 is going to be charged into your snap card. First of the month, bang, you're going to get your $350, go and eat, buy food. Democrats voted against it. So all Mike Johnson has to do, all John Thune has to do, all President Trump has to do when he comes back from Asia is, hey, people are looting, people are stealing, people are rioting, people are stealing grocery bags from other people because they're coming out of the, in the parking lot of grocery stores. Don't blame us. Don't blame us. They don't want to fund the government, period. It's the Democrats shut down all the way. They own this. George in New Hampshire. This is the thing that I've always wondered about this whole snap thing. I mean, I think this is an opportunity for the government to use, distribute MREs. I mean, I think that they should set some FEMA trucks to these grocery stores, which are likely to be an issue and have MREs set up with FEMA. box trucks out there and they can feed people because that that solves a lot of problems it's a bridge there are people that need the snap you know and that and that's and that's that's the sad thing is those people are lost in this thing and we all can tell our anecdotal stories of just the day-to-day interactions of people, it appears that they're taking advantage of the system when they're able bodies. But, I mean, with the economy where it is and with the COVID crap that happened, there's a price readjustment that has to occur. And the lower poor working are not going to come in the money they did in 2023. And this adjustment is, it's going to be painful for a lot of people. It crosses through the housing market. And the reality is we all are going to have to adjust that our prices are going to come down. Our billing prices are going to have to come down in time. Because you can't afford a $35, $40 labor that you basically have to stand over and be like a drill sergeant, pick that up, zip up your pants, do this, do that. You know what I mean? I mean, it's just, that's how I see it. Look, George, I couldn't agree with you more. And I get emails all the time. I can't tell you how many. I work all week and then I get a second job on the weekend. Honestly, usually at a grocery store bagging groceries or working at the cash. Now, I have to pay for shoes for my daughter. I have to pay for clothes. My energy bill is through the roof. My electric bill is through the roof. My rent eats up so much of my salary. Everything has become so expensive because of Joe Biden. I can't pay for food. I can't. She says, I can't. Like, do you understand, I can't? We don't eat out. We never eat out. She said, for us, maybe once a year, we go to McDonald's. Like, that's the big thing. It's McDonald's once a year. And we're not, you know, eating lobsters and steaks. We eat macaroni and cheese and beans. Like, we're not, you know, high on the hog. And she said, I'm ashamed because I was raised, you know, by my parents to be self-reliant and self-sufficient. And I'm ashamed, but I'm on foot stamps. And I can't tell you how many times I write back to people. God is my witness. Please don't be ashamed. By the grace of God, there go I. That's what it's there for. You're part of our family. You're an American. You're going through very tough times. We all know what inflation has done to our country. That's exactly why we have these programs in place. Please, that's why you pay taxes. That's why I pay taxes. That's why all of us pay taxes. So when these people are taking, on our people, the working poor, when they're taking food stamps, food assistance, they need to take it. God bless you. Take it. You have to feed yourself in your family. You've done, you've been screwed over by the politicians. The Democrats effed you over. I'm sorry to put it so crudely. You got screwed over. Now, we're here to help you. Please take the snap, spend all of it, all of it. Empty that card every month. You know, buy good quality food, feed yourself, feed your child. And honestly, you want to buy your kid a bag of chips once in a while? You want to buy them a can of diet soda. Kids are kids. She's 10-year-old girl. Or a box of cookies. I'm serious. I'm not saying you put a cart full of stuff. Yeah, she's an American. So what? She can have a bag of chips. She can have a box of cookies. She can have a bit of Coke or soda or whatever, not too much. Like, I'm sorry, you have my blessing. Don't be, don't feel guilty about it. That's exactly why it's there. And I said, don't worry, this will pass. And then someone else will need your help. That's what a family does. That's what a country does. That's what we do. We have each other's back. One day, I may need the help. So please take the help.

And then have us pay for their housing, their food, their, you know, their clothing, their education. I mean, he brought migrants after migrants after migrants in the dead of night. And we find out that they're the ones who are draining and depleting our entire food stamp system. To the point, just so that you know, George, under Biden, the amount of spending on food stamps doubled. doubled because they all went to the illegals and to these refugees and migrants that he brought in from Afghanistan, from Somalia, from Haiti, from Iraq, you name it. Every third world hell hole you could imagine brought them all in and we pay for them. I'm sorry, that's an abuse of the taxpayer. It's wrong. And now there isn't enough left for our people. And that's what we warned about again and again and again. You have this kind of waste, this kind of fraud. Americans will start going hungry. And that's exactly what's going to happen on Saturday. George, final word to you. I mean, like I said, I mean, they're playing this as political right now. I mean, we, I mean, I, most of your callers, and I know you for sure, see the humanity in the issue. But for the illegals, I mean, I would just, like I said, MREs, if it's good enough for our soldiers and our service people, it's good enough for them. And this, in this, it's a bridge.
