I'm going to give you the straight question that was put in front of the Supreme Court. This is the Mississippi law. that was upheld now by the Supreme Court that was challenged by the Republican National Committee and the Republican Party and the Libertarian Party in Mississippi. Is it reasonable to include in the voter tally mail-in ballots that are postmarked by Election Day and counted within five days of the election? So let me just ask you one more time. Is it reasonable to include in the voter tally, mail in ballots, so they're postmarked by election day, and then after election day are then counted within five days, five business days. A yes.

3:03

know, you know where I stand. I think to me this is, it's legalized theft. That's what this is. You just keep counting and counting and counting until you get a winner, the winner that you want. That's all. To me, it's ridiculous that you count, you're continuing to count ballots days and days after election day. As Samuel Alito said, that's then what you've done is you've nullified election day. which violates the federal law. Federal law says there has to be an election day. Well, there's no election day if it's election week or election month. Now, but that's me. I want to hear from you. A, yes, B, no. I'm a hard no, a hell no on this one. But I want to hear from you. You can vote on our webpage, WRKO.com slash Cooner. WRKO.com slash Cooner. K-U-H-N is in National ER. You can also vote via X, and yes, I was very active on X last night. My handle there, all one word, at the Cooner Report, at the Cooner Report, K-U-H-N-E-R, Jeff in Quincy. Thanks for holding Jeff, and welcome. How are you today, Jeff? Good to speak to you again. So here's my take on it. The Constitution spells out election day. I'm with you 100%. The fact of the matter is the court doesn't have the guts to get involved in this stuff. They didn't have the guts to get involved in the 2020 stolen election. And more importantly, with the SAVE Act, it's not an elected representative's job to vote the way they want. It is their job to vote the way their constituents want them to. We elect these criminals that go into office, and that's what they are. and represent us. When the SAVE Act is supported by 83% of Americans on both sides of the aisle, do your job and pass the damn bill. It's that simple. This is the destruction of America. And Amy Coney Barrett and John Roberts are both responsible for it at this point. Jeff, do you think now with this disastrous decision from the Supreme Court, is this going to put more pressure? on Republicans in the Senate to pass the SAVE Act? Yes, it's going to put pressure on it, but they don't care what we think, Jeff. It's that simple. They don't work for us. They work for themselves. And that's what it's come down to. We need to get rid of it. We need to purge every single rhino in the Republican Party. And until that's done, America has zero hope. Jeff, I wish I could disagree with you. I can't. I can't. Jeff, thank you very much for that call. Russ Inhaveral. Thanks for holding Russ and welcome. Good morning, Jeff. Hi, Russ.

6:12

First time in a long time. Welcome. Welcome, Russ. Lines are always blazing. I was hoping to follow Bill. But Mags is great. I'm going to see Mags. I'll see Mags at Plum Island on Saturday. Well, you know, the beauty of Bill and Sudbury is whoever follows him. I mean, you're Einstein. I mean, you're like after you am, no matter what you say. Like, this man or this woman is a genius, an absolute genius. But go ahead, Russ. I'll get to that real quick. I got to say, like, with the Plum Island thing, and Meg said she's going, I'm going to. And they also have the sewage problem in Haverill going all the way down to the ocean. I don't know. Nobody knows about this, very few people. I don't know if you heard about that. No, I haven't. I'm definitely going to look into it. Russ, thank you very much for giving me a heads up because that's, if there's sewage down there, bad sewage, then we know. That's unacceptable. But Russ, I don't want to get off topic. What do you make of this decision? And is the Supreme Court now paving the way for the Democrats to steal the election in November? No, it's, it's, you know, but as far as the postmark goes, people need to understand first class mail. If you look at anything you get through the mail, there's like a barcode down on the bottom. Now, with many of your bills and that, they've already, they're already on there. But if you write a letter like a Christmas card or something, it doesn't have that on there. Then the machine, then they put it on there. And it puts it all in order, delivery sequence. So it's like as far as the postmark goes, you've got to get a postmark, and that's what they're saying, right? Yes. But now you can't be writing, you can't write like, you know, 113 November 3rd with a piece of, with a pen. Russ, can you do me a favor? This is such an important point. Huge, momentous decision yesterday at the Supreme Court. Trump suffers, and I think the country suffers a massive defeat. They now essentially are going to legalize cheat by mail. They say that mail-in ballots that are postmarked either several days before or on election day can still be counted. For days, Mississippi, the law is five days. Other states, it's three days or four days. Other states, it's even more than a week. But they say that they must be counted after election day. Trump said that obviously now is going to enable the voter fraud to continue. And he now is saying it's time to pass the SAVE Act before November or else we're going to have another election with the prospect of votes being corrupted and the election being stolen. Now, Russ made an excellent point because, you know, about something being postmarked.

9:27

And we lost Russ, but we got him back. And so I want to read to you, Russ, something that a listener, in fact, many listeners have written to me, but I'm just going to pick one. And I think it's absolutely, I know this is true because I've been told this over and over again. And I want to get your reaction. Jeff, as a male clerk in a small accounting firm, I had a postage machine that could set the day stamp to anything I wanted. You think the party offices don't have the same thing? Democrats win by finding out how many votes they need to produce after election day. So in other words, Russ, and this is a point many have made. that, hey, look, you can put anything on a, you know, you want to postmark something with the machines now that are available that are everywhere. You could send in a ballot on the fourth, on the fifth, on the sixth, say November 3rd is the election. So you can go 11, it could be on 114 or 115 or 116, but all you do is just put 113 and say, I don't know, 242. And boom, okay, well, it's postmarked. Hey, we got one. Oh, it's postmarked. Okay, it's good. Keep it going. And it's counted. Now, that's what the Democrats do. They got it down to an art form. The other thing is, in many states, and Lido made this point as well, what they consider postmarked. I'm not kidding, is you putting a stamp. And then just you writing down the date and the time in pen, in a pen. So it could be the day after or two days after, and there's your stamp. And you go, no, no, 11-3-3. Again, just assume the election is November 3. 11-3-140. There. Bang, I put it in the mail. Oh, well, it's postmarked. We have to accept it. So, Russ, what I'm trying to say is the fact that they claim the ballot has to be postmarked. In today's day and age, does that even mean anything? What say you? Well, what happens is, like, when you mail in the ballot, let's say you wait until the third. If you put it in your mailbox at your house, you walk up to the porch, get the gate out of there, I don't put that in the bucket with the mail to go to Boston, to go to the plants, which would get a postmark. I leave it separately, and then we send it straight to City Hall when we get back. And it expedites it, obviously. And then if you go to the window, like where you buy stamps in a post office, they separate it too. Why would you send it to Boston, you know, or whatever? They just send them to the city hall. So, but, yeah, when you're talking about the machines, that's a great point. But if you do, you're talking, there's always going to be some miss sorts in the mail. There always is, and that's why things get delayed. But it's a small percentage.

12:53

And it doesn't work as well as it used to as it did 20 years ago. I'll be honest with you. But they can't be writing with a pen. It has to go through the machine or a postmark where somebody actually stamps it. Now, if you're using a machine, like you're talking about, if you're doing that, and like I went to a business, and they did a bunch of them. And they didn't. I look at the date, and it's not even right. We can not take those. We can, like, say, no, you need to put new postage on there. They can't be doing that. There's always going to be some letters. That's the point I'm trying to make. No, no, I hear you. No, no, Russ, listen, you're making a very important, fascinating point. And this, again, look, I don't want to keep going on about Samuel Alito. But this was Samuel Alito's point. He said, look, for our entire history. For a ballot to count, it had to arrive on Election Day. He said, look, and he used the example of the Civil War. He goes, look, you know, what greater excuse to have absentee ballots than we had a civil war? So you've got men hundreds and hundreds of miles away from their homes. I mean, they're on a battlefield, for God's sake. And even then, if they had to, you know, had an absentee ballot. The ballot had to arrive on election day or before election day. If it arrived, I don't know, a day after election day, it's torn up. It's no good. So Samuel Alito's point is that's why you don't do this postmarked because, A, you don't know if the machine is reliable because they can put wrong dates, deliberately put wrong dates. They could send it two, three days after an election, but just postmark it 11. You know, again, I'm going to, again, I'm going to use on November 3rd as just the analogy here, the example, and say, no, no, no, it's postmarked 11 3rd. Well, here it is. Here's the stamp. Here's the postmark. What are you talking about? But yeah, you can have the machine say anything. And by the way, that's how they have it in California. It's down to an art form. By the way, that's why they like letting it go on for weeks. You see what I mean? So it's like, okay, so Pratt is up 400. Well, now he's only up 200. Okay, now he's only up 50. All right. Okay, Larry, Larry, give me another 200,000. So they're getting votes coming in three, four, five days after the election. So they know exactly how much they can gin up and manufacture. That's why Samuel Alito said we have, and our founders saw this, and that's why they said there's going to be election day. It's one day. And he made the point, you know, we have Labor Day. We don't have Labor Week. We have Thanksgiving Day. We don't have Thanksgiving Week. You know, he kept giving it. We have Memorial Day. He kept giving example after example. He goes, a day is not some meaningless word. A day means the day. It has a beginning, middle, and an end. And so, obviously, our founding fathers and the law was intended, election day. All ballots received up until election day will be considered valid. But once you start going the next day, and then two days, and then three days, and then four days, as Samuel Alito said, then you no longer have election day.

16:32

As I'm giving you the legalese term, the collective choice of the American people has now been denied. That's how Samuel Alito phrased it. Because now, well, when does the election end? We don't know. Well, you know, the day is now, it depends on every different state. It could be three days after. It could be five days after. It could be seven days after. In California, it could be, they have up to a month. So it could be a month after. So what you end up having is you have elections that go on for months before because everybody's putting in mail-in ballots and then at least in some cases weeks, if not a month later. He goes, well, you've destroyed election day. And in the process, you've opened everything up now to unlimited, massive voter fraud. And then he goes country by country. Other countries have tried this experiment. It's been an absolute failure. And it goes against our entire history. We've never done this except in the wake of COVID. And remember what they told us at COVID, Russ. It's temporary. Remember two weeks to flatten the curve? It was the same thing with the election. It was two years. The election. No, no, just this one time. It's COVID. Just this one time. We have to have mail-in balloting. And I remember at the time, I said, you're lucky if we get rid of it in 40 years. Once they see how easy it is to cheat with all these mail ballots flying around, you're never going to get rid of it. Russ, thank you so much for that call. Agree, disagree. Carrie in West Bridgewater, thanks for holding Carrie and welcome. Hi, Jeff. Listen, Mags really needs to probably stay away from the TV and the radio today because if she thinks she's upset now, wait until the Supreme Court decision about birthright citizenship, which is supposed to be announced today, comes out because I guarantee we're going to lose that one as well. Guaranteed. Harry, I promise I won't cut you off because we're up against the break, but are you surprised that Amy Coney Barrett? Jeff, I think she's the biggest disappointment and the worst. You know, Mike, you could have given her at least a few more seconds. I'm just saying, you know what I mean, Mike? We're going to hold you over anyway, Carrie. Carrie and West Bridgewater, Carrie. I asked you if you were disappointed by Amy Coney Barrett, because you made, I think, the obvious point. You know, tell Mags and others, don't listen to the news or watch TV, cable TV, because that birthright citizenship case is coming down the pike, coming down the pike, and it doesn't look good. If Amy Coney Barrett screwed us on this, I think she screwed us on birthright citizenship.

19:46

So it most likely will be a defeat. And I said, are you shocked? Are you disappointed? And then Mike had to cut you off. So God forbid it should give you 10 seconds. But anyway, Carrie, please pick up where you left off. Thank you, Jeff. I think that Amy Coney Barrett... is going to be looked at as the greatest disappointment, greatest mistake of Trump's presidency. She has... Failed us at every turn, and I'm going to say it. No more women on the Supreme Court, please. I don't think they make good decisions. I just starting with Sandra Day O'Connor and, of course, the three losers, you know, what's her name? Ketanji Brown Jackson, and the other two clowns. Yeah, Elena Kagan, Elena Kagan and Sotomayor. Now, Connie Amy Coney Barrett, she is a huge disappointment. I think she always was. But I think she hid it very well. And after seeing Brett Kavanaugh almost getting killed along with his family by that transgender activist, I think she's definitely afraid to make decisions that are going to enrage the already enraged, violent, democratic left. So I think she's totally useless. You know, I think your analysis is spot on. Carrie, you know, as I like to say, not 100%, a thousand percent correct. Carrie, I've got to ask you, what do you think now? What's the play for President Trump? It's obvious now the Democrats are going to steal. They stole California. They're going to try to steal the midterms. Basically now the Supreme Court has greenlighted or legalized cheat by mail. Trump is having just a devil of a time trying to get the SAVE Act passed, opposition from even rhinos in his own party. What's Trump's play, if any, at this point? Jeff, I wish I knew. I don't think threatening these rhinos with primaries is going to matter because they obviously don't care about their jobs. We truly have taxation without representation. One of your callers said that, you know, they're supposed to represent their constituents and they're clearly not. They're just going to go back. They'll get a job as a lobbyist.

22:36

and make millions and millions of dollars. They don't care about this job. They don't care about the American people or the Constitution. They'll give you a couple of quick sound bites for their re-election campaigns, and we vote hoping against hope that they'll do the right thing, but they never do. They never do. So I don't know where we go from here. I mean, are we heading toward a civil war? I don't know. Or are we heading towards a political civil war? And what I mean by that is you steal, we steal. You know, you do ballot trafficking, ballot harvesting. Okay, we do ballot trafficking, ballot harvesting. You know, you want to do cheat by mail? We do cheat by mail. You do a million, we do 1.5 million. You do two, we do 2.5. You know, I mean, in other words, and that's what Samuel Alito's warning in his dissent. He says, if you think Republicans are going to, you know, just, you know, take it on the chin, just stand there, you know, take it lying down, because you guys got another thing coming. And then you have a full-blown crisis in our country, you know, a crisis of democracy, as they say. So, Kerry, you know, I don't even like to think about cheating, but I've got to ask you, is that the road we're now on? Where, okay, who is better at voter fraud wins the election. What say you? I certainly hope it doesn't come to that. And I think just the nature of being a Republican, I don't see us doing that. That's not who we are. Democrats will do anything. They'll split the throat of their own mothers for power. They'll do anything. We're not like that. We're better than they are. But unfortunately, because we're better than they are, they know we're better than they are. And they play us like dummies. And that's what's happening. cannot for the life of me understand Amy Coney Barrett's decision. I really can't. It's inexplicable to me. Samuel Alito made perfect points and spot on. What is she thinking? Carrie, as always, thank you very much for that call. Greg in Peabody. Thanks for holding Greg and welcome. Dan, so I used to work in a mail room. And when power went out at night, if we lost power in the snowstorm, you had to reset the date on the mail machine. And you could have 500 ballots ready to roll, or 500,000 ballots ready to roll, or 5 million ballots ready to roll, and to feed them through the mail machine. And you just reset the date and they're stamped perfectly for November 2nd. And that can happen anywhere. A lot of companies have older mail machines that they haven't updated because they don't need to. They work fine. And that is a scary thing. Greg, someone, obviously you're an expert on this. Greg, how do I phrase this, how easy?

25:56

Is it? If you're determined to cheat, as the Democrats are, and now they have the Supreme Court's permission to have essentially, you know, postmarked mail-in ballots, doesn't matter if they arrive after election day, they have to be counted, two days after, three days after, five days after, seven days after, you know, 10 days after. How easy is it? to generate hundreds of thousands, if not millions, of fraudulent ballots with this postmark system that you're discussing? But, like, I mean, I'm talking about, I worked in a mailroom 20 years ago, so I, the technology might have changed. But why not have the post office change the postal stamp? And then on November 2nd, change it to a different look. So that way you could never have invalid ballots. I got you. In other words, do some checks and balances. Like have like the, like every posted stamp is the same. Someone could make up a fake posted stamp and make a stamping machine. But why not have a special stamp? for just when you can mail in your mail-in ballots. Greg, if I'm getting too personal, please tell me. Do you use mail-a-ball, when you vote, do you go mail-absentee ballot or do you vote in person? And I should have to be IDed when I go in-person. Oh, I'm with you. I'm so with you. Photo ID. I'm so with you. But Greg, I'm sorry. I didn't catch the beginning of your answer. Are you a kind of person that does mail-in-balloting or do you vote in person? No, I vote in person. Yeah, I'm the same. Yeah, I'm the same. And like I said, I should have to show an ID when I vote. I'm with you. Greg, I'm with you all the way, brother. Greg, thank you so much for that call. Look, let me super quick, because I want to go back to the blazing phone lines. But just let me throw this quick log on the fire. This is another thing. Samuel Alito just touches on it. Other justices who dissented made this point as well. Samuel Alito just touches on it. But chain of custody, to me, that's no small thing. What here, to me, this is one of the problems I have with mail-in balloting. And again, Trump is right. If you're in the military, you're serving overseas, there should be exceptions. If you have a disability or an illness, of course, there should be exceptions. You know, if you really need to travel, I don't know, you have a sick mother or a sick family member or, you know, whatever. That's okay. Those are exceptions. That's fine. But in general, this is the problem I have with mail-in ballots. I put my mail-in ballot in the mail. I just drop it off in the mail. That's my vote. That's my vote. Nothing more sacred in a constitutional republic than my vote. I've lost chain of custody. Who's going to take care of, you know, who's going to handle my ballot from that point? I don't know. You know, postal service worker? Okay. Who does he give the ballot to?

29:23

What happens after, in other words, what happens to my ballot after I've put it in? I've lost chain of custody. So could somebody tear it up, replace it with another ballot? Could they peek inside and see, ooh, this guy voted for Trump? We don't want that. Or, you know what, let's not deliver it. Let's just tear it up and throw it away or dump it off somewhere. In other words, I've lost my chain of custody. And as Samuel Alito points out in his dissent, he says, look, this is how it used to be done. It's almost like civics 101 or civics for dummies. But he says, you want to see how far astray, how far afield we've gone. He says, here's how it used to be. You go to a polling booth. You complete the form. You check who you want to vote for. With the ballot in your hand, chain of custody, you stick it into the ballot box. No one's touched your ballot. No one can spoil your ballot. No one can steal your ballot. No one can change your ballot. And then at 801, when the election is over, they open up the box and then there are election officials who are there as supervisors and usually one member of each party. So everything is up there. Everything is transparent. And they dump out all the ballots. And then in front of, you know, a group of people, okay, this vote, one for Trump. Okay, this vote, one for Biden. And by the end of the night, you have a winner. So, A, you know no one's tampered with your ballot. B, you know it's been counted. C, you know it's a valid, legitimate election. The moment you start playing with mail-in ballots. I mean, you're just opening the door to rampant massive election irregularities and voter fraud. And in fact, that's exactly what has happened over and over and over again. So I want to ask you, in principle, you know, I know there are exceptions, so we grant those exceptions, but in principle, Should we just get rid of mail-in balloting? Well, again, with the few exceptions. To me, I always thought making it so widespread after COVID was a disaster. And notice, ever since we've done that, more and more Americans have lost complete faith and trust in our elections and in election integrity. And that's also Samuel Alito's point. He says, you watch, this is going to undermine the confidence of the American people in our entire democratic self-governing system. And if you don't have trust, the whole system is going to eventually collapse. Linda in Medford, thanks for holding Linda and welcome. I think we're telling the same story almost every day. And what I'd like to know is.

32:49

Under what circumstances can Trump call in the troops? As far as I'm concerned, I'd like to see the troops called into L.A. They're obviously rigging the election. They have people in the streets that are homeless and have been there for some time. At what point do we just say stop? Well, you know, step in. No, I hear you. Look, Linda, Samuel Alito addressed that as well. And this is a major part of the voter fraud. They did this in L.A. That's another problem with mail-in ballots. And they got caught in L.A. But nobody wants to prosecute. So you have all these homeless people. We're talking tens and tens and hundreds and hundreds of thousands. So the DSA, the Democratic Socialists of America, to their credit. said, well, let's just go to the homeless people. Now, they don't have an address. So how can they get a mail-in ballot? Well, they just walked in with all these mail-in ballots, and they gave them money, $20, $30, whatever, a six-pack of beer, whatever it was. And then they said, okay, you're Ken Johnson, right? Yes. Okay, Ken, sign your name right here, and we'll do the rest for you. And that's why if you look at the number that Spencer Pratt lost by to that Zohran Mamdani socialist, she's really a communist, that Zohran Mamdani communist, it's almost identical to Los Angeles' homeless population. That's another reason why they want these massive homeless encampments on all of these big cities, blue cities. Because that's another massive pool of votes if they need to cheat. Now think about it. How can they all get a mail-in ballot? But they're all voting. They don't have a home. They're on the street. What the Democrats do is they go in there with all these mail-in ballots, blank. And they go, who are you? Okay, you're such and such? Fine. Here's the name, sign, and we'll take care of the rest. And they come up with a phony address. And it's amazing when you look at these addresses. Empty parking lots. Many of them, a 7-Eleven, and there's like 20 people saying that that's their domicile. 20 of them living at a 7-Eleven. And so, or whatever, it's an empty field. Literally, it's an empty field. Many of them, it's the middle of a river. Well, no, they run out of numbers at this point on whatever. I'm just going to make up a street. Main Street. Well, no, that's 62 Main Street is the last house. After that, you're going into the river. And it's like, well, no, 80, 82, 84, 86 Main Street. So they're mobilizing homeless people. buying them off to get a signature and a name, and then they're off to the races, Linda. And that's why they don't want the military in the cities. That's why they don't want ice in the cities, not just to protect the illegals, but to keep as much federal law enforcement out so they can steal and cheat in elections. Look, they've got $25 million on the voter rolls. Chuck Schumer gave us the number.

36:28

That's a lot of illegal voters. 25 million. And you introduce mail-in balloting? It's almost impossible to catch him. Linda, final word to you. Why not you send in the military and stop this? This is subversive. This is the enemy within. I think Trump needs to send in the military. and close L.A. down and get to the bottom of it. And if they have to have another election next week with the military in place, fine. Linda, thank you very, very much for that call. I think Trump may have no choice but to declare a national emergency. I know he's being pressured by people to do it. saying if we can't have honest, secure, clean, free, fair elections, if this Supreme Court is going to be this corrupt, then I have no choice. I have no choice. And what I don't get is this. How have we gone from election day? And so many Americans just accept it to now voting two months before an election. to counting ballots weeks after an election, even a month after. Do you know that in California, they're still freaking counting? They're still counting in California. I mean, this is like election month. It's absurd. And notice, who believes our elections are free and fair? So it's a crisis of legitimacy. Nobody believes that the winner is the honest winner. So you tell me, how long can a Democratic Republic last if we can't trust our elections? John in Westford. Thanks for holding John and welcome. Yeah, Trump and March passed an executive order that would require the post office to have a barcoded envelope for the absentee ballots. It's to prevent mail fraud. I don't think it's been overturned in the courts. So this could nullify everything that we're talking about, hopefully. Fingers crossed. And you also have the Postmaster Solicitor General. Now he's come out and said that they're not going to handle or deliver any mail-in ballots from states that refuse to hand over their voting rolls because they don't want their voting rolls to be purged. So we'll see if that happens as well. John, look, at this point, it's in God's hands. But to me, we never should have gone down the road of mail-in balloting. Again, with the exceptions, there's always exceptions, and the military, people with disabilities and illness, that's fine. But this kind of mass, you know, I don't want to say universal, but mass mail-in balloting, it's a disaster. Look, John, I'll play the cut. Jimmy Carter.

when he was no longer president, this was post-president, oversaw this huge election commission. And he did it with Scoop Jackson and all these other very prominent influential Democrats. And they looked at our election system. They looked at European election systems, Asian, Latin American, African, Middle Eastern. They looked at all these election systems around the world. Jimmy Carter, Jimmy, good old Jimmy, the peanut farmer, said the one system you never adopt is mail-in balloting. He said because it is rife with fraud and corruption. He goes, everywhere it's been tried, it's been a disaster. And by the way, France went in big and they said never again. Many European countries tried it and they said never again. for exactly the same reasons that's happening now.
