We've got it all here at the Grace Curly Show. We're ready for you. We've also got a great guest coming up in the one o'clock hour. Trump today, though, hosting the Japanese Prime Minister at the White House. They're speaking right now in the Oval Office. They have yet to kind of hash out some details about how helpful Japan will be with us in this conflict in Iran, which we are now on week three of. Week three of this conflict, gas prices, continuing to climb. And I think the Trump administration's starting to feel that pressure. But when you hear these daily briefings or these daily pressers from Pete Hegseth, there's no question. They are getting a lot accomplished in just three weeks time. I mean, I don't think anyone, even like the bill crystals who are now pretending that they think this is a horrible idea, I don't think they could have imagined that in three weeks they would be able to eliminate so many. of the top brass of the Iranian regime. It's pretty incredible. And one of the conversations that Trump is set to have with the Japanese Prime Minister, is whether or not Japan, and I have a feeling they're going to, is going to help when it comes to mind sweeping the Strait of Hormuz. Now, Japan has incredible mind sweeping capabilities. That's something that we could really utilize, considering Iran has a habit. of putting cheap mines into the straight in order to kind of hold everyone hostage and put all of these ships in danger one fifth of the global oil supply coming in and out of there or it usually is and so you really need to open that up and that's something that Trump has been very very adamant about but what's really interesting about this is over the last 48 hours both in truth socials, and I think maybe some actual comments to the press, but don't quote me on that. Trump has expressed his disappointment with our allies. Talked about NATO. Talked about how a lot of these allies are not coming through. They're rejecting his requests for help when it comes to opening up the strait or securing the strait of Hormuz. And Taylor and I discussed this yesterday because...

The Wall Street Journal spin on it was, well, see, if you had been nicer, maybe if you had been nicer to all our allies and you had been, you know, making them pay their fair share and hitting them with tariffs and saying mean things about how you wanted to take over Greenland, maybe everyone won't be rushing to help us. That's not usually how it goes. That's not typically, like that's a nice thought, you know? It's a nice thought that if you keep paying for things that the person that you're paying for is going to treat you with respect, but that's not how it usually goes. Usually you keep paying for something and what you get is a spoiled brat who treats you with no respect and assumes you're always going to have everything covered. That's just human nature. And so this idea that like, oh, if we could go back and Trump would be nice and kiss everyone's asses like Biden used to do, then everybody would be clamoring to help us secure the Strait of Hormuz. I don't think so. And maybe this is just the way I negotiate or the way I tend to think things work. I do think that being tough tends to work out better than being sweet. I guess I'm one of those people, like, would you rather be feared or loved? I think there's, there's a, there's room for both. But I don't think if you just want to be liked by these countries and like we'll pay for everything and we hate ourselves so much and you know will you have our backs That's not going to change their minds on us. It's pretty wild when you think about what's happened in the past few years as far as U.S. supporting Ukraine, for instance, and still a lot of Europe relied on Russian oil and their pipelines to supply their energy needs. And we didn't ask any questions for years. We just sent money and... Europe sat back and said, oh, this is great. We don't really have to do much, and we still get our dependency from Russia. Meanwhile, we're in Iran now and we're trying to secure the Strait of Hormuz where everybody feeds from. It's not just Europe. It's not just the United States. It's everybody gets some percentage of their oil through the Strait of Hormuz and nobody wants to pony up now. The hell. It's also funny because they keep approaching it. They don't understand Trump. But they keep thinking that this is a let us know how much you want to participate kind of conversation. That's not what he's asking here. This is very much you will be participating. And if you're not going to participate, if you're not going to pull your weight here, then there will be consequences. And actually, what he floated most recently was he said, and I'm just paraphrasing here because the true social is pretty long, but he said,

Doesn't seem like a lot of these people want to help us. Maybe we'll just get out of there. We'll let them handle it. It's their responsibility. We'll let them try to figure out how to secure it without us. And maybe then they'll hurry up and come to the table if they think it's their own responsibility and they're not just helping, but they're in charge. And what do you know, Taylor? Can you play this cut for me, cut six? The president demanding U.S. allies contribute more as we, along with Israel, knock down a nuclear thirsty enemy in Iran and protect key oil shipping lanes in the Middle East. A new joint statement from Japan and other allies signaling they are ready to help secure the shipping now through the Strait of Hormuz and support efforts to stabilize global energy supplies. Now, that's counter to what some of them have previously said. I want people to be afraid of how much they love me. Yeah, that's counter to what they previously said they just needed a little time. They're just, they having to figure it out how this works yet. They just needed a little time, you know, to test out the waters. And I did love what Trump said the other day about France because Emmanuel Macron was big on like, we're not helping with any, no, we're not going to help with this. And he goes, yeah, we didn't expect a lot from France. That's got to hurt too, you know. We have very low expectations for you based off your own history. these history books that the leftists love to read and love to tell us about. France might want to take a look back. We understand how you guys operate a lot of the time. It takes you a little while, doesn't it? Well, now they're all telling us six of these allies, at least, including Japan, that they're going to help. Japan's going to be a huge help, like I said, because of their capabilities when it comes to mind sweeping. But this is one of the big priorities here, because I think that... When you look at what the military is able to accomplish, when it comes to taking out these terrorists and taking out the Ayatollah and these mullahs, it's an amazing thing. But if they can get the gas prices down, I think a lot of the noise here, they already have a lot of support Taylor from MAGA on this. I think that I saw Harry Ensign, did he say 100%? That can't be right. 100% of MAGA supporters support Trump. I mean, that's kind of a given. If you're a MAGA supporter, support Trump. Like he says, I am MAGA. But I think there's a great deal of people. 100% of Eminems have chocolate in them. Yeah. Or something like it. Yeah. I think Robert F. Kennedy Jr.. would disagree. But, yeah, it's a weird thing where you have a lot of the base, the MAGA people who are supposedly in the midst of a civil war. How many civil wars have we been in since Trump showed up? I mean, they're always telling us that he's causing this divide and MAG is fighting itself. And yet, polls came out today or yesterday. And I think I did, I think I did reference since yesterday, but it's worth repeating that in actuality. A lot of MAG, I think it was 85% overwhelmingly back Trump over Tucker Carlson, Megyn Kelly when it comes to the Iran war. And you have to keep in mind, like Tucker Carlson and Megan and all these people, they're going full force on trying to convince their listeners and their viewers and they have a lot.

that this is all Israel. They're pushing Trump around. They have Trump over a barrel. They have blackmail on him. I guess they had it on Charlie Kirk, too. So Israel, in some ways, killed Charlie Kirk. And now they got Trump starting these wars. And so they're going full force on this. And still, a new poll from J.L. Partners surveyed that 83% of likely Republican voters strongly or somewhat support Operation Epic Fury. So that's what's going on here in Maga World is that people are seeing this. The reason I come back to the gas prices is if you can stabilize these gas prices, if you can bring them down in the next few weeks, and it might not be possible right now, but the first step is the Strait of Hormuz. Then I think that a lot of that noise will quiet down, and the administration will be able to really focus on the mission here, which I already think they're doing. I don't think this is affecting them as much as some people might. want to believe it is. As Trump said, he was asked about this, about the price of gas and about the midterms, and he said, I have to do what's right. I can't, I can't make these decisions based off the price of gas going up. Like, I have to actually do what I think is right. And I 100% agree with them. I've been getting a lot of text from people, a lot of messages, hey, I'm worried about this. The midterms are coming up. And I understand, but we're three weeks in. And this is something that if you're on the Joe Kent side of things, he just resigned as the counterterrorism director. And he's pushing, and we're going to take this into the next segment because I'm running out of time here. But he didn't waste any time before going on Tucker Carlson, which a lot of people predicted. It seemed like the obvious move, the obvious next step. After his statement in which he blamed Israel for getting us into this war and also the Iraq war and also said that Trump, essentially was being bamboozled by Benjamin Netanyahu. And so now he's gone on Tucker Carlson and he said that Iran was not close to developing or having access to a nuclear weapon. And so that's a big, Taylor, that's a big charge. He's telling us that the administration is lying. That all of this talk about Iran being an imminent threat is not true. And Joe Kent is the only guy who has the courage to come out and call them liars. Now, John Ratcliffe, testifying today alongside Tulsi Gabbard, as they did yesterday, has a whole different take on what's going on. So the question for the listeners is, who do you believe? Do you believe this guy, Joe Kent, who has drastically changed his views on Israel and Iran over the last five years? Or do you believe John Ratcliffe? We'll talk about it. We'll play both. Do you believe him? No, I do not. 97% say no. All right. So I want to play Joe Kent on with Tucker Carlson talking about this. And it wasn't so much Taylor that I couldn't believe the idea that they weren't close to getting a nuclear weapon. I would really challenge that. But more so, his reasoning for why he claims that he knows they were not close doesn't square with me at all. So let's play. This is Joe Kent cut seven. Was Ron? on the verge of getting a nuclear weapon? No, they weren't, you know, three weeks ago when this started, and they weren't in June either. I mean, the Iranians have had a religious ruling of fatwa against actually developing a nuclear weapon since 2004. That's been in place since 2004. That's available in the public sphere. But then also, we had no intelligence to indicate that that fatwa was being disobeyed or it was on the cusp of being lifted. The Iranian strategy, it's actually pretty pragmatic. The Iranians are obviously aware of what's taking place in their region. And their strategy was to not completely abandon their nuclear program because they saw what happened to Muammar Gaddafi in Libya when he said, hey, I've got no more nukes. I'll do what you say. I'll give up my nukes. And we gave him the Nobel Peace Prize? Yeah, we regime changed him and he was executed by his own people in the most horrific way. Oh, sodomized by a bayonet. Right. Okay. Okay, so he's saying for religious reasons they're not developing nuclear weapons. And he also seems to think they're very pragmatic in the way that they're operating. Now, this is the same guy who in 2020 was very much... Iran has been after Trump, they're dangerous, a lot more hawkish back in 2020. So something's happened since 2020 to now that he's switched. And that's okay. But here's my next thing. Because I...

The other bit of information we have is this current hearing that's going on. And CIA director John Ratcliffe was asked about this. Because again, it's a big claim. If you're going to go on Tucker Carlson, if you're going to give out all this information of, you know, they're lying to us. There's something they're not telling us. There was never a nuclear threat with Iran. You better be ready to back it up. And this is what John Ratcliffe had to say. This is cut eight. Was Iran? on the verge of getting a nuclear weapon. No, they weren't, you know, three weeks ago when this started. I want cut eight, John Ratcliffe. All right, hold on. I might have mixed up the cuts there because the CIA director was asked about this today. I'll have to go back and get that one that saved as a duplicate. Okay. So the point is, though, that people are not buying what Joe Kent is selling. Now, the FBI is investigating Joe Kent, and Tulsi Gabbard was asked about this by Elise Tophonic. She was asked, oh, okay, we have the cut now. Let's play it. Is the Iranian regime committed to America's destruction, in your opinion? Yes. Does the Iranian regime have American blood on their hand since its founding in 1979? Yes. Has Iran plotted assassination attempts against Americans on American soil? Yes. Was Iran developing a nuclear weapon prior to our military action last June, and did Iran remain committed to developing a nuclear weapon to lead up to this conflict? Yes, so I want to clarify on that because there's been much talk about a fatwa against the development of a nuclear weapon. Can you come back to that one second? Let me finish the reason. That's okay. If left unchecked, do you think Iran would have the ability to develop missiles capable of reaching the United States? Yes. Did Israel force the U.S.'s hand and make us take action as some have claimed? No. Director Tulsi Gabbard, do you agree with the CIA as Director of assessment on that last question in particular? Yes. Yeah, Taylor, there's something interesting happening with Tulsi Gabbard because our poll question yesterday was whether or not she's going to get fired. And I said no. If you ask me it again today, I may have a different opinion because she's kind of gone out of her way. And Jackie Heinrich pointed this out today on her social media that she's going out of her way to... differentiate between her personal beliefs and her remarks during this hearing was iran And so it makes me wonder if she aligns more with the Joe Kent, Megyn Kelly, Tucker Carlson, and she just doesn't want to have to say it right now in this hearing. And everyone is entitled to their own personal beliefs. But I do think that when you have someone like Joe Kent who's encounter terrorism and now he's out and he's creating a real headache for the administration outside of the work there by going on all these podcasts and spreading if this is what I think it is a lie.

And she let him work there against, I think, the advice of the administration allegedly from reports I've been seeing. I don't know. I might actually change my mind on Tulsi Gabbard today and say she could be on the chopping block. We'll talk more about this. We have a lot to get to. Stay with us. During Markwayne Mullin's confirmation hearing, Senator John Fetterman, you know that expression politics makes strange bedfellows? Trump politics makes for the strangest bedfellows. That if you would ask me, I just... I can't even figure out what goes on. Like people are enemies and then they're friends and then their enemies again. But I was very, very surprised to see Senator John Fetterman be the one to save Markwayne Mullin. I guess they have a great relationship. He talked about it yesterday. He talked about how. He met Markwayne Mullin's wife, Markwayne Mullin being the senator from Oklahoma, who is now going to be head of DHS. And he said, you know, that they're going to get dinner or they hit it off. And he thinks that, he thinks that D.C. is being run right now by a certain disease. And he actually said this on a podcast. Let's play John Fetterman cut too.

It says some of Hakeem Jeffries members, that's Hakeem Jeffries, the leader of the Democrats, the House leader, grumbling about the strategy with one centrist House Democrat telling Axios, the discharge petition just seems like more of the same. We're just chasing our tail here. I mean, like, it's good politics, but it's not going to actually get DHS open and help the officer get their paychecks. This House Democrats said the party should find a way forward in negotiations with the White House. Of course, Democrats on the other side of the Capitol have also been refusing to fund DHS. A journal editorial this week noted, as the lines at airport security get worse, frustrated travelers should know who's to blame. Senator Chuck Schumer. Democrats have refused to fund the Department of Homeland Security producing a shutdown that now has dragged on for a month. TSA airport screeners are calling out of work since they aren't getting paid. And it's just getting worse. I mean, I saw a video today from different airports on Fox and the lines are out the door into, in some cases, into the parking lots. And the Democrats think that this is a winning strategy. And to make people hurt, to make people feel pain and hope that they take that pain and they blame it on Trump. Now, if there's a terrorist attack, if something happens with one of these planes, because we're not... you know, having the proper security occur, then I guess it's the same thing. They just hope that when that happens, the fallout of that is, well, this wouldn't have happened if it weren't for Trump. It's a really, really risky and sick gamble to make with the American people's safety and lives. And that's what's going on with DHS. That's what's going on with Democrats. And meanwhile, you know, we talked about Markwayne Mullin. We're talking about. these different hearings that are going on on Capitol Hill. Tulsi Gabbard today, D&I, talking about whether or not she is concerned about Joe Kent's statement. She was asked this by Elise Stefanik, and Elise Stefanik was really drilling down on how Joe Kent, the director of counterterrorism, leaves, resigns from his position, and... goes on to blame Israel for not just the Iraq war, but also for bullying Trump into this current conflict. And she asked her point blank, like, does this concern you that he wrote this in a statement? And I was glad to hear Tulsi Gabbard say yes, because she's swerving a lot today. There's a lot of swerving going on in her testimony, but that was one point where she said yes. So I was happy to hear that. I want to play John Ratcliffe again because... And I try not to focus too much on the podcast wars or what's going on with Tucker Carlson and all these people. But over the last couple days, it has become major news. Joe Kent went on Tucker Carlson. This is a guy who was just the counterterrorism director. And he said that Iran does not have a nuclear weapon. It's not close to having a nuclear weapon. And essentially accuses the White House, this administration of lying in order to get us into this conflict.

This is what John Ratcliffe said. I played it for the poll question, but I want to play it one more time. Can I have cut eight, please, Taylor? In this case, where you have Joe Kent's word versus John Ratcliffe and the rest of the administration's word, I would put this into the conversation as well. John Ratcliffe is currently the CIA director. But he also has a really strong background when it comes to exposing Russia Gate, declassifying a lot of those documents that pertain to the Steele dossier and the origins of Russia Gate. His, he was very, very, he played a very large role in exposing the problems with the FISA surveillance of Carter Page and the abuse that was happening. um as far as a lot of these agencies go and he just did a lot on that front and so i do have some trust in John Ratcliffe i mean as much as you can have and people you don't know he has a good record to go off of this isn't a guy i don't think of him as a slimy person i do not think of him as an attention seeker i think of him as someone who Whenever I've heard from him, he's been delivering a lot of hard truths and uncovering a lot of corruption. And in some cases, cover-ups, like giant cover-ups, like Rushagate. And so I don't think that the guy who spent so much of his time trying to expose Rushagate is now going to create this kind of cover-up of his own with this administration. That doesn't track for me. That's just how I read it. All right, now I want to... switch gears one more time here because there's another story that i didn't play yesterday oh no i should mention this trump today he's meeting with the prime minister of japan i had said earlier he's really hoping that japan with their mind sweeping abilities will be able to help us sweep the strait of hermuse and secure those ships from coming in and out with oil and The breaking news from today, there's been a few different breaking news stories, but one of them is that six allies are now on board to help us secure the Strait of Hormuz. That was a really, really big change. That was a big switch up from 48 hours ago when all of these allies were basically saying, eh, we'll let you do it. You know, maybe we'll offer moral support, but we don't really want to get involved. And Trump basically turned around and said, oh, this isn't an optional thing. This isn't.

choose your own journey. You're going to get involved. I'm asking you. You know what? It's like, Taylor, it's like when you ask, when you say to your, when you're, when you say to your kid, like, would you pass me that? Would you bring me over that, those, that pair of shoes? Or, oh, no, here's a better example. Will you put your shoes away? Why don't you guys go clean your rooms? I don't want to. Oh, no, no, it wasn't actually a question. It wasn't an option. It was, you know, I phrased it like that to be foxy, but you have to go do it. Sometimes I'll say that to my daughter. I don't mean to pose it as a question, but I'll say, like, would you bring me those shoes over here? No. Oh, no. Oh, I'm sorry. I phrase, I posed that as a question, didn't I. I didn't mean to. This is kind of how Trump works, too. It's like I was, I was hoping you guys would just jump on here and. volunteer your support, but now I see that I have to make you do that, which is unfortunate. And so while all that's going on, and Trump meeting with the Japanese prime minister is asked by a reporter a question about, what was the actual phrasing of the question, Taylor? Why? Why Trump did not notify America's allies like Japan, others, about the start of the war in Iran? Let's listen to his response. Of course, no, Japan and U.S. are a very good friend. But one question, why didn't you tell U.S. allies in Europe and Asia like Japan about the war before attacking Iran? So we are very confused about Japanese citizens. Well, one thing you don't want to signal too much. You know, when we go in, we went in very hard, and we didn't tell anybody about it. Because we wanted surprise. Who knows better about surprise than Japan? Why didn't you tell me about Pearl Harbor, okay? Right? He said, Eskabee, do you believe in surprise? I think much more so than us. And we had a surprise, and we did. And because of that surprise, we knocked out, the first two days we probably knocked out 50% of what we, and much more than we anticipated doing. So if I go and tell everybody about it, there's no longer a surprise. Absolutely. Absolutely. Absolutely. And it's a force multiplier. It's such an advantage to go in with surprise. Think of all the damage we did, Taylor, within the first 24 hours of this conflict. And think of how much of that damage would not have happened had we let other people know. And some of our allies are great. Some of them I'm not too sold on. Some of them have let us down in the past. It's too much of a risk when you're dealing with something like this to trust a bunch of other countries that maybe don't care so much or maybe they don't want to see it happen. And so they say, hey, we get out some of this information and maybe it's going to stifle what they're trying to do. You have no idea.

You have no idea. You're better off. This is like when Chuck Schumer said that about Midnight Hammer. Why didn't they tell us about Midnight Hammer in some of these briefings? Why didn't I know about Midnight Hammer? Oh, I don't know because you leak like a boat and you would have told everybody about it and you would have put our troops in jeopardy. You would have put the boys in the bombers in jeopardy so you could score political points. Just like you're putting the American people in jeopardy right now by not funding DHS and not funding TSA. You clearly don't care about losing lives if it suits your politics. So we're not going to trust you with vital information when people's lives are on the line. And when there's really high stakes, it can disrupt decision making. It can disrupt, it can, the element of surprise can shorten these conflicts drastically. And that's what we were trying to do. And now, and I'm sure this is going to happen, Taylor, am I going to have to hear? From the mainstream media, how inappropriate that was of Trump to state the obvious right there. Yeah, please tell me how that was inappropriate. It made the point. That was the perfect point to make. Who knows better about surprise than the Japanese? Why didn't you tell me about Pearl Harbor? Well, because you wanted the element of surprise. Exactly. We wanted the element of surprise attacking Iran. We didn't want anybody signaling that, hey, this was going to happen. Iran, you better be prepared. Iran's allies, you better be prepared for immediate counter strikes. No. Taylor, if you go. That's a legitimate, like, why do we have to tell people what we're going to do? I don't understand this. We're an independent nation. Dude. Why do we have to tell people? You know, no, what is that? Like, you're our girlfriend? Why didn't you tell me? Why didn't you call me? Why didn't you call me? I would have, you know, I would have come. I would have made a reservation. It would just be nice if we were all on the same page about. No, screw you. Like follow our lead. You want to do your own thing, do your own thing. But not our keeper. Right. No one's our keeper. We made sure that a long time ago. Are you giving us support for defense or are we giving you support for your defense? You don't have the right to ask us what we're going to do if we're going to do our own thing. This is a one-way street. Yeah, and it's also kind of funny because it's like, why don't you tell us earlier? And I'm not picking on Japan, but a lot of these countries that are like, why didn't you tell us earlier? Oh, so you could not help us earlier? Like, what was it? You, you haven't really helped much so far. So what, do you want to preemptively make sure you weren't going to help us by sabotaging it?
