It's a guest heavy show. Mike Crawford from The Young Jerks is going to join us to talk about Day 2 and the Kelsey Fitzsimmons trial. Something I noticed yesterday, Taylor, about watching this. is we talked about how it's judge only. And you said you like that. You said you like when it's just the judge. Well, it forces the judge to do their actual judging. Like otherwise, judge is just a referee. Right. Well, I do notice, and this is probably an obvious thing, but it was just interesting because we're coming off the Karen Reed trial. And, you know, we had Alan Jackson, we had Yanetti, we had a lot of these fiery lawyers who, you know, were getting paid the big bucks, or maybe they weren't, but they're, you know, they're pretty well-known. highly paid lawyers and they got a lot of razzle dazzle and they were showcasing that for the jury I noticed that when it's judge only you leave the razzle dazzle at home because the judge is if anything I think a judge when he's just he or she is the only one deciding the razzle dazzle is going to work against you like if you try too hard to be for lack of a better word like sexy about it and try to lay out this oh and here's what happened and i'm going to be theatrical i think the judge is going to give you the please please this is funny miss reed i've seen this a million times let's just keep it to the facts whereas with a jury tailor you know then you're dealing with people who like to see that stuff. You're dealing with people who consume this stuff and they like more of the movie aspect of everything. You got to keep them awake, too. It's like the new rules with Netflix, you know, where they say you have to explain the plot three times so that the audience can follow it and stay off their phones. It's the same kind of thing. So I was watching yesterday and I was like, oh, wow, it's interesting to watch how.

There's just a lot more to the point, not as much theatrics as you get with a jury trial. Now, we'll talk about that with Mike Crawford. He can break down what we heard yesterday. We got more information about the boyfriend, the father of that Kelsey Fitzsimmons shares a child with, why he was fired from his job or suspended from his job is actually more accurate. And we'll talk about that. We also have a guest coming on, first timer on the Grace Curley show, to talk about. It's a little bit of a niche story, but Mayor Wu loves taking victory laps, as all these politicians do. And one of the victory laps she's taken lately is about the graduation rates in Boston public schools. And I read a story today from the City Journal by someone from the Manhattan Institute that was calling those graduation rates, you're not going to believe this, a mirage. That maybe. There's some fuzzy math going on here that's leading to this amazing graduation rate. Maybe the graduation rate isn't a sign that the education system here in Massachusetts is succeeding, but maybe there's something else. There's something afoot here in Boston. So we'll talk about that as well. But it's still one of the big stories of the day. We obviously have the conflict in Iran and strikes continuing, U.S. Israel strikes on Iran continuing in spite of the fact that yesterday Trump had announced there would be a five-day pause on some of these gas facilities. It's looking like things are continuing on in the same direction. So there is a little bit of... there's a disconnect here, at least from what I'm seeing, and I think it might be a purposeful one. I think it might be just trying to throw this regime off their game and kind of some subterfuge, but between what Trump is saying we're going to do versus what's actually happening in Iran and in Israel, because Israel's taking on a lot of missiles, they're shooting back at Iran. It doesn't seem like we're going based off the true socials from over the weekend, but again... Things change very quickly when you're dealing with this kind of conflict. Now, also happening, the shutdown continues. The shutdown continues, and there's right now no end in sight. But I have two updates for you. So yesterday we really focused on how they, because Trump, and I guess Taylor, one of the funnier angles of this, which we didn't talk about yesterday, but I love, is that... The idea to deploy ice to these airports, did you know where this idea came from? No. It came. Very good for our business, by the way. It came from a caller on the Clay and Buck Show. So I guess a caller named Linda called up and said something along the lines of, you know, you know what Trump should do. He should send ice to these airports. How about TSA agents? Trump heard it. I don't know if Trump heard it, but, you know, someone in the administration may have heard it and got it to him. And within hours, he had said, you know, we're going to do that.

And Brian Stelter was reporting on it yesterday. The amount you can hear the disdain as he's typing away, Linda from Ohio or something, Linda from Kentucky is now deciding what happens, deciding policy for this administration. And it goes back to one of my favorite giveaways from the left, which is they really don't think that any normal person should have a say in what goes on. in the government behind closed doors and their fancy swanky bars in DC like the idea that Linda from and I got to check if it's Ohio or Kentucky but that Linda would have a good idea and the president get this the president of the United States would actually have the audacity would deign to listen to something from Linda a regular woman who lives in this country a legal citizen of the United States of America, that he would think about what she has to say and actually implement it. and make a decision based off of it is disgusting to Brian Stelter. It's disgusting to these people at CNN. They are aghast at this. Some of the replies when Brian Stelter wrote this story about Linda were so funny, Taylor. It was like, one guy wrote, is CNN? Something like is CNN going to track down Linda and try to ruin her life? Just people asking the appropriate questions. Like what is going to be, is this going to be a Nicholas Sandman type of deal? Are we going to, are we going to start harassing Linda for coming up with this idea? But really what it says to me is they have. this superiority complex, whether it's Brian's Delta, people who should have, who should have eaten plenty of slices of humble pie at this point in their careers. They've been thoroughly embarrassed throughout the last 10 years of covering Trump. They have embarrassed themselves trying to cover this guy and constantly trying to spin things in a negative direction. But at no point is there any self-reflection or maya culpa. And they still look at the average American. And I think I was thinking about this over the weekend because. The best example in my career of following this, in the last 10 years of following this, the one that is crystallized in my mind of the smug elite attitude of Democrats. It's a sound cut, Taylor. Can you guess which one it is? If you can guess this Taylor, if you can guess what sound cut I think. is emblematic of the Democrat media elite system at play, which one I think best describes their smug, snotty, bow-tied, you don't belong in the room with us. We are smarter than you behave. This is a cut that we have on today's cut sheet? No. This is just a cut that I have in my mind. Go for it, though. Don Lemon. Boomer Roobes.

the Republicans, the Trump voters who can't read good, who can't read maps, and who are just too dumb to understand. It was Don Lemon, it was Rick Wilson, it was some other guy, and they were laughing about this. They were laughing about how stupid we are. And to see Brian Stelter covering this ice story and know, and for him to find out that Donald Trump got this idea from a radio caller named Linda. From a boo-in-woo. I love showers and mornings and bologna and turtles. What is he thinking? This cannot stand. It's the same attitude, by the way, they had when Trump ran for office in 2015. Like, you can't do that. You're on TV? Like, you have your own successful business? No, you can't do. You don't get how things work. If you question Anthony Fauci during COVID, you can't question the science. You don't get it. Why do you stick to, you know, making cookies and why do you stick to, you know, grilling your hamburgers on your grill and doing whatever you normal people do? And you leave this to us, okay? You leave this to the Ben Rhodes' of the world. You don't get involved in this, okay? You're too stupid for it. And the funny part about it is, is anyone knows this. If you're on radio, if you listen to radio, people call up all the time. People have such good ideas. People will call up my show and tell me something. I'm like, that's a really good point. My mom listens to a lot of radio, but hopefully mine the most, but she listens to a lot of radio. And she listens to Howie and she listens to other people. And one of the things I notice about her is she'll call up in almost. Whenever she's calling me about somebody else's show, it's very rarely about the person hosting. It's usually about the callers. She'll say like, oh, this woman called up and had such a great point today. Did you hear that lady who called up Howie and said this or that? So this is something that if you listen to radio, you know, these people are smart. People know what's going on. There's a lot of people out there with some insight and some good ideas. And here's the part of it that really works for Donald Trump. It's people with common sense ideas. Like, hey, you got all these ICE agents that are getting paid. Why don't you put them in the airports and let them help? And guess what? Guess what? It's working. It's working. We were told by Hakeem Jeffries, they were going to start killing and brutalizing people. We were told that, oh, this is so inappropriate. People are going to be scared. And take a listen to, I'm going to do, this is ABC 6 Philadelphia. This is cut four. Hey, good morning, Matt. Good news if you are traveling here this morning. Right now in Terminal A East, lines aren't that bad, but as you mentioned, ICE agents, they have arrived here at PHL. For the most part, we've been seeing them hanging back. However, they have been also assisting travelers as need be. I do want to point out that the agents aren't wearing masks. President Trump says while he is okay with ICE agents wearing masks during immigration enforcement raids, he does not want them doing so at the airports. Now, as long lines and delays continue due to the partial government shut down, union reps with TSA says each day is getting worse. They have been working without pay for more than a month now. More than 400 have quit and thousands have called out across the country. Many in order to work second jobs or because they cannot afford necessities like travel or child care while getting unpaid. In response to this, President Trump has sent hundreds of ICE agents to 14 airports. Philadelphia is one of them. The difference is that ICE agents will be paid due to money from the so-called One Big Beautiful Bill Act.

And this is despite the funding fight in Washington revolving over how ICE operates. That's good right there. We've got that update on the shorter lines. And. Then you also have Fox that was at some of these airports asking people what they think of ice being there. And again, you're going to get a mixed bag here. You're going to get some women, and I've already seen this, who are going around yelling at ICE agents, you're Nazis! Don't open up! Nazis in the airports aren't good. But for the most part, you're going to get people who are happy to see that things are moving along faster, and they're not really going to have an issue with it. So I actually want to start with cut five, please. As long as they don't bother anybody, I'm okay. I was concerned about people. So they're not bothering us. Let's get it done. I like that they're here. I think that it's allowing us to move and get to where we need to go. It's kind of scary in a sense because you don't know what to expect we're icing. As long as they can help us move a little bit faster, maybe they can take some of the work off of the TSA agents as far as, you know, general security. I'm all for it. And here's an interesting part of this before we can play more of people reacting to it. But something I found really, really telling is that there's a new poll out and the Daily Mail had the poll. But the poll is from the Daily Mail JL partner and it pulled over a thousand voters and it asked them who's to blame. for the government shutdown for the long lines and the delays at the airport 25% of the voters said democrats 11% said neither and 34% blamed the GOP so 34% blame the GOP as opposed to 25% that blamed the Democrats When you look at that and you think about the coverage of this and that 100% of the coverage for the, maybe not 100, let's say 98% of the coverage in the mainstream media is depicting this as Trump's fault, Republicans' fault. Democrats are trying their best to hold ICE to justice and speak truth to power and act on the behalf of the American people. When you think about how tilted this is towards making Republicans look bad and it's not. They should be polling 80% of people think it's the GOP's fault. Only 34% are blaming the GOP. That says a lot. Can you imagine if they were covering this fairly, how bad it would be for Democrats? I don't think this poll is going to give Democrats the confidence to keep this going. But I'm certainly not. I'm certainly blaming Chuck Schumer, Hakeem Jeffries, and the rest of this party. 95% say Chuck Schumer and the Dems. 4% say both sides. Only 1% say President Trump and the GOP. I want to know if anyone else is surprised by this number. 844-5-400-42. We can play more sound from the airports. And we are also going to dive in to the latest fake news story from the Democrats and more on the Iran-Israel trade strikes. I'm sorry, Iran-Israel strikes that Trump... was thinking may stop, and now it seems like over the last 24 hours they've only ramped up. We'll talk about this when we come back. I've got to play a cut here that I love. Do you remember Anonymous? He was Miles. I always want to say Miles Teller, but it's Miles Taylor. And he was, I think, the press secretary of the chief of staff for DHS in the first Trump administration. And this was a bombshell story at the time in the Washington Post. He wrote a piece. And he said, I'm anonymous. It was like, I'm Spartacus. And he talked about how Trump is out of control. And, you know, he's an egomaniac, and I don't trust him. And everyone was, I remember this. It was like we were all trying to figure out who's anonymous? Who is it? Like deep throat, who could this be? We need to know. People are throwing out big names in the administration. Is it Kellyanne Conway? Is it Mike Pence? Who is it? And then it finally came out. It's Miles Taylor. And everyone was kind of like, huh? What? Who's Miles Taylor? Still anonymous. Yeah, still he can't fight the charges. He can't fight the anonymous to this day. The anonymity continues to. It just follows him around. But Taylor, that was a major letdown because we were really starting to get geared up. Like, this is going to be juicy. This is going to be a divorce in the administration. This is going to change things. It's going to show a lot of infighting. And then when that guy came out, it was like a nobody, a real, nobody knew who he was. Still no one knows who he is, but he goes on CNN now. And he goes on CNN to get slapped around by Scott Jennings. That's why most people now appear on CNN. It's to go viral for all the wrong reasons. And so he was on with Scott Jennings, and you would be shocked by this, but the guy who wrote the anonymous piece in the Washington Post, and what was the point of it? Like, you come out with a piece, anonymous, to slam Trump, and then everyone's like, okay.

And then you come forward and announce who it is. It's like, well, why did you even do this? You clearly wanted the attention. That was really the goal, believe it or not. So he goes on with Scott Jennings, and you'll never believe he's not supportive of Trump's decision to start this war with Iran. You'll be shocked to believe that the Trump deranged former staffer. who wrote a piece in the Washington Post back in what was a 2019, is also not happy with Trump's handling of Iran. A key with this, though, is none of these morons can tell me what they would do differently. Like, they've all told us for years and years and years, Iran's a threat, Iran's bad. The way to solve it is give them billions of dollars, unfreeze all their assets, let them build up their nuclear capabilities, let them keep funding terrorism all over the world. And so I have to assume that's still their best solution, but they have a lot of problems with the way Trump's doing it. And I haven't heard a rebuttal that really counters like the progress that Trump is making. So let's play Miles Taylor. trying to make an argument on CNN and just getting derailed by Scott Jennings. Cut one, please. All three of us ragged on the Obama administration for giving cash to the Iranian regime to reach a nuclear deal. I think it was $400 million in pallets. What Donald Trump just did on lifting sanctions on Iranian oil is already at sea. Is 10 times as much money, likely to the Iranian regime 10 times as much money. He's giving cash to our enemies. Do you think that the Ayatollah... prefers his life under Obama or under Trump? Look, probably Obama, yes? The I had told us dead. There you go. You heard it here. Yeah, that's kind of the point, Miles. You're getting there. You're so close. Okay, okay, stop slapping me. Oh, no, wait, one more. Well, and I had mentioned this earlier that Trump on True Social put out this a few different statements, one of them saying that he's having pretty productive talks with someone. from the country of iran um and that was disputed by the regime and by some of their talking heads but also you could argue that maybe they're not the ones he's having conversations with which would make me very happy i don't really want one of these whether it's the ayatola junior the cardboard cutout guy who might be in a coma um or any of these mullahs i don't want them to be the ones that trump is making deals with so i don't really believe in diplomacy with that group and so that could be part of it but one of my textors because i mentioned that the strikes continue and one of my texter said well trump never said

Trump said that they were going to hold off on hitting power plants, not hold off on continuing to bombing the bleep out of them, which, yes, you are 100% right about that 339. But what I was referring to is there have been reports that U.S. Israeli warplanes have struck two gas facilities and a pipeline. And that was after Trump put out this. statement about not attacking those energy sites or kind of warning Israel not to attack those energy sites. So it could go back to the original theory, which is, was Trump just playing good cop, bad cop? Like, hey, we didn't know Israel is going to do this and they're not going to do it again as long as you guys do what we say. And then, of course, they don't do what you say. And then you can make good on your threat. I don't know. There's, there's a lot going on when it comes to what's happening in Iran. Now, to circle back here. Oh, and just one other thing, Taylor, I had mentioned this struggle to really explain to people what they would do with Iran. Because a lot of these Democrats, right before Trump entered this conflict, they were sitting there, kind of like schoolyard bullies being like, nah, nah, Trump's going to chicken out again. He's not going to do anything. Look at Bill Crystal's tweet. months ago I'm talking like I think it was in January he said you know maybe this regime may maybe this administration should be focused on Iran where they're killing all their people and he had this really tough tweet slamming the Iranian regime. And then just weeks ago, when Trump decided that he'd had enough after decades of this nonsense, Bill Crystal's completely switched. Complete 180. He's like, they started this war. This war that you were asking for two months ago? And now you're mad at them for actually doing it? Bill Crystal. Reverse, reverse. And so there's a lot of this. But yesterday, Chuck Schumer was on with Morning Joe. on MS now and he was asked so many times by Joe Scarborough like do you think it's good that this regime in Iran no longer is as like is is weakened by what's happening like that they do not have the capabilities they did that their nuclear capabilities have been pretty much demolished, that we are bombing the bleep out of them. Like, is that result a good thing? And Chuck Schumer goes right back to, well, what's going to happen three months from now? And Joe Scarborough had to say, like, that's not what I'm asking, though. That you're talking politically, you're talking about the future. I'm talking about, are you happy that the Iranian regime is not as strong? this global sponsor of state terrorism, that they're not as strong as they were four weeks ago. And it took Chuck Schumer like a full four minutes to finally admit that, yeah, that's probably a good thing. That's Trump derangement syndrome.

If you can't just acknowledge, and the only example, I've given this before, but the only time that Biden ever gave me an opportunity to agree with him, I think, was when he would talk about cancer. And he was like, we're trying to do a lot of research. We want to end cancer. Cancer has affected everyone. And yeah, he would do these press conferences and he would say crazy things. Like he was going to cure cancer, dogs were curing. I don't know. He would say a lot of things. But I would always choose at those moments not to harp on the mess ups because I thought, I can get on board with this. I hope he's right. I hope he does cure cancer. Like, wouldn't that be great? I'm not going to, I'm not going to make fun of the guy if he cures cancer, if his administration cures cancer. There are moments like that where if you've been railing against Iran since. 1979 and you've been hoping for these people to get a chance of freedom or to break out from this demonic regime and you don't at least take a minute to say hey I don't like Trump but this this is good progress in my opinion then you shouldn't be taken seriously and if you think that's going to take away from your credibility it's only taking away your credibility from the craziest people on earth anyone else who's semi-normal would actually find that quite refreshing i think that you don't base your your ideology and your political philosophy off of one person because that's nuts that's a crazy thing to do And John Fetterman's a perfect example. He's like he bases things off his actual opinions and not just based off, did Donald Trump say yes, then I say no. Did Donald Trump say the sky is blue? Then I say the sky is red. And speaking of, though, the other issue where they've all lost their minds is not, it's not just Iran. It's not just ice at the airports, although we can talk more about that. It's also the save act. Because Trump wants this save act passed. He's been putting the pressure on John Thune, who hasn't really shown me at least that he's worth a lot here. He seems to be very good at telling us why he can't get numbers, why he can't get things passed. I'm not that interested. The numbers aren't my problem. They're a you problem. They're a John Thune problem. So that's all going on. But one of the talking points here that I keep hearing about from Chuck Schumer and Hakeem Jeffries and other people is that this is going to be unfair requiring voter ID, which from most polls you've got like what over 80% of Americans support this. Black people support this. women support this most americans support voter ID it's kind of it's kind of like the audit here in massachusetts okay you'd be hard pressed to find people who didn't support it doesn't mean you're gonna get it but people support it and at first it was really focused on the minorities like they're not gonna be able to get identification and i think there was enough pushback on that

soft bigotry of low expectations where you had black people saying oh no we actually have IDs we can get IDs and we we don't need you to put the stop to this on our behalf and so that kind of lost its steam so now the focus seems to be that women will not be able to vote because they've changed their names when they got married and that was you know picking up for a little bit But now we've hit a new phase, which is this conversation about no one having their birth certificate or no one being able to find their birth certificate. I think Gavin Newsom mentioned this. Chuck Schumer, like I said, Taylor was on with Mika and Joe, and Mike Barnacle asked him. I think we played the cut yesterday. Mike Barnacle said, like, could you find your birth certificate? Could you find your birth certificate? And... I thought to myself, well, Mike, you can just doctor one up. Like, you just give us, give you 10 minutes. And considering Schumers is etched in stone, it shouldn't be too difficult to locate. Yeah. And for the rest of them, do a little catch me if you can, you know? Show us to what, Mike, you show us the best birth certificate you can come up with. I'll run it through the system. I'm sure it will pass with flying colors, given your history with plagiarism. But he's going around. He's like, can you find your birth certificate? And I googled it, Taylor, because. There's a few things in the Save Act that I find a little bit confusing. And one of them is, I just thought it was going to be you bring your license when you vote. But that's a no-go. And I think the reason, the primary reason that's a no-go is because then you start interfering. Different states have different rules with that. And some states already require ID. Some states don't. And that becomes like federalizing it. Whereas registration, they think, is the cleanest point of figuring out not just do you have a license? Because we know in some of these states you can get a license even if you're not a citizen, but are you a citizen? Are you an American citizen? So that's what they think is like the cleanest way to figure out who's on these voting roles, who should be on here, who can prove they're a citizen. Now, the birth certificate thing, I would actually give them that there's probably a lot of people who don't have their birth certificate. Would you think that's fair, Taylor, to say that there's, there might be people who'd have to go online and, you know. I would say there's a lot of people that have it somewhere. They don't know it's been lost to time in storage and they're just better off getting a new one. But I would also say that for all of these people who are using themselves as an example of Mika Brzeansky, Joe keeps being like, Mika, Mika wouldn't know where hers is. Like, all, all right, thanks. But they're all pointing at each other going, oh, Gavin Newsom, do you know where your birth certificate? I don't know where my birth certificate is. They're all trying to explain to you. Like, I'm a big moron. And that's not to say if you don't know where yours is that you're a big moron, because like Taylor said, there's a lot of people who don't have it. But here's where you become a big moron is like those people who are using it as an example of why this doesn't make sense. If you then turn to them and said, do you have a passport?

What's the answer? Yeah. Of course they do. Of course, you're gonna tell me that Gavin Newsom, who's going to Davos, like every two weeks, bringing knee pads and props with them. and sticking his head in a bowl of hair gel before getting out on stage and crossing his legs and doing his weird shimmy that he doesn't know where his passport is. So if you want to put this out as a problem and say there's probably people in this country who don't have passports and who also don't know where the birth certificate is, maybe I would listen to it. Maybe I'd say, all right, well, this is what they would do in the situation. You go online. You know, there's states you can get at the day of that you apply for it or that you request it. So there's definitely workarounds. going to make that argument and you're some of the most privileged beautiful wealthy people in the country and you're not going to acknowledge that there's other options as to what you could bring it's not just birth certificate or bust i think that's an important part of the conversation 844-5-42-42. Oh, really? Take a listen to this elderly couple at the airport. Can I get cut six, Taylor? When you see ICE agents, you know, being deployed, what goes through your mind? I like it. I mean, I think Trump's only hollowed off. I like it. Most of the travelers we spoke with say, while it's disappointing the current shutdown as having a negative impact on TSA staff, they're pleased to see ICE agents stepping in. They're protecting us. Yeah, they're doing a good job. Well, that's not what Chuck Schumer told me, and Chuck Schumer never, ever lies. You know, I was reading a story today, Taylor, it's the front page of the New York Post online. It says Delta Force, Delta takes treasured perk away from members of Congress until they end the DHS shutdown. We talked about this yesterday, how Delta Airlines is taking away the special congressional desk services that lawmakers use to kind of... skirt around some of the boring waiting that we all have to do and It's funny because this is having the effect. You know when we got Taylor, the Doge cuts or when Rand Paul puts out the Festivist report every year and it will say like, oh, Doge would say, what we're cutting the $3 million that we send to this country for this. And my response would always be like, wait, what? We send money for that? And that's everyone's response, right? This is how I'm reacting to all of these news stories about. the congressional perks that are being taken away. I'm like, wait, that was a perk you guys have? Like, oh, they're going to take away their special airport liaisons. They get airport liaisons? Huh? I got to run for Congress. I have had a lot of people asking me over the years. Would you ever run for office?
