President Trump was talking the other day about taking out bridges. He's also been talking about taking out the power plants in Iran, but he mentioned bridges. And today, well, here's his tweet, his truth social. According to Iranian state media, the strikes killed two people and wounded several others while also partially destroying the structure. The president warned Iran's leaders not to think they can survive if they fight on. This is what I wanted to get to the media coverage. It's been, you know, you're not surprised, but it's still kind of appalling, especially since the war is going so well. I mean, it's militarily. I mean, it's just one success after another. And they're making it seem like it's Vietnam. I love the fact that he repeated how long all the previous wars were going back to World War I. And how short this has been, we're in the 33rd day now, I think. But the Wall Street Journal says media coverage of the war in the U.S. has been so relentlessly negative that Iran's leaders may really believe they are winning. But Mr. Trump assured them that he plans to continue the war to devastating effect if they don't abandon their nuclear and terror ambitions. He made no offer of a ceasefire. They caution against taking out power plants. could be counterproductive by hurting the Iranian people we want on our side. Yeah, that's, I mean, that's a factor, but, you know, what are you going to do? You know, the thing I thought about, too, is they have such, they took out a huge number of the savage's leaders today. And maybe if they took out all the electricity in, Iran, they wouldn't be able to use the social media or their cell phone. They couldn't recharge their cell phones or whatever they're using to communicate, and it would be harder to find them. I'm just, I don't know how they're tracking these people, but if they're using carrier pigeons, I guess it would be harder. It would be harder for the CIA and Mossad to track them down, I guess. But Iran should take the threat of cutting the power supply seriously, especially regarding their oil. 844-542. Jay, you're next with Howie Car. Go ahead, Jay. Howie, I had two comments to make, two unrelated comments. But the first was, I believe the Marines, we had a discussion before, I believe the Marines are there for a reason. And I think Carg Island is the intended target. You take out Carg Island, as Steve Scott Bessent said, Donald Trump's economic advisory, said, you've cut off 90% of their economy of money. And he said the financial advisors in Iran are already fleeing the ship. Right. So I just think that's the next intended target to really throttle them. And I'll leave you with this, how I was thinking of the days of the COVID compliance where the sheep were led into the ovens. I mean, that ain't never going to happen with the American people again. The Democrats' case showed their true colors.

I hope you're right. I mean, the people went in so willingly into the, into this whole, you know, COVID nonsense, even though if you, if you just looked at the, the charts, if you, if you did any kind of research, you, you knew it was BS, right? Era of compliance. Yeah. 508, CNN, Chiron at 10 a.m. indicates market getting crushed in reaction to Trump speech. 4 p.m. Never mind. Never mind. Yeah, I heard a newscast on one of the radio stations I listened to. from D.C. in the morning. They were all, they were so excited. The Iranians, even after President Trump's bellicose speech last night, the Iranians were firing missiles. It's almost like they're cheering, showing they still have power left. And the markets, the Dow futures were crashing into the dust. And oil was in 1.15 a barrel. They're just thrilled. They were just thrilled. This is from Barton Swame, another column in the Wall Street Journal today. This is in the print edition. If all you knew about the war in Iran is what you read in the American and European press, you might conclude that the U.S. has never prosecuted a war so ineptly as it has this one. In fact, nearly the opposite is true. Then he goes down the whole list. Destroyed the Navy, neutered what remains of it. No air defenses. Most of the ballistic missiles are gone used, damaged or destroyed. They can't build anymore. The nuclear program lies under tons of rubble. Israeli strikes have inflicted havoc on the Islamic Republic's internal repression apparatus. You know, they've moved the IRC-G-G-C has moved its command centers into cars and convoys. They're moving around so they don't get hit. So now the Israeli drones are taking them out as they move down the highways with help from the Iranian people. They're calling in the tip line. Now, that's a valuable tip line, unlike Maura Healey's ICE tip line or her COVID tip line or her Trump won the 2016 election tip line. The regime's terrorist proxies appear quieter on the run. That's because there's no money. Now they're starting to take out all the banks, all the Islamic Republic banks, so they can't even get them any money.

Most of America's and Europe's news media, meanwhile, sift through the details to find evidence of U.S. incompetence. The administration didn't plan for missile and drone strikes on its basis. What BS that is. The war benefits Russia. The war benefits China. War planners didn't count on Iran's closing the strait of Hormuz and on and on. You have to assume, says Barton Swain, some of this relentless pessimism stems from the belief familiar after a decade that whatever Donald Trump does must lead to disaster, in spite of the fact that it doesn't, right? That's a sorry way to get at the truth, but the smallness and lockstep defeatism of so much commentary on the war also stems from the normal human tendency to interpret today's big thing as another version of yesterday's. The Iran War is like the Iraq War, which was a version of the Vietnam War, etc., etc. It's notable that the foreign policy mandarin's in the U.S. and Europe either opposed or scorned each of the big events that made possible this moment of hope. The Iraq War, the Abraham Accords, and the kinetic strikes on Iran, first by Israel and then by the U.S. The mandarin's preferred Barack Obama's nuclear deal, which failed to pacify Iran, and explicitly did nothing to curtail its exportation of terror. A stabler and more commerce-driven Middle East has an immeasurably greater chance of emerging after the Islamic Republic falls or anyway falls to its knees. Everything depends on what a fractured and abused Iranian population could do when the bombs stop dropping. Ultimately, it's up to the Iranians. I don't know if they can do it, but we do have to bomb them back into the Stone Age just to make sure they don't come back. You know, and if they have to spend all their time rebuilding the B1 bridge and a bunch of other big bridges, and they have to dig out of millions of barrels of spilled oil and Carge Island, and they have to rebuild their $10 billion power plant and all the rest of them, well, so be it, so be it. They won't be bothering us. You know, I, if that's, if that's what it takes, that's what it takes. Get the job done, though. No more, no more half-assed wars where we have to go back in. I think, you know, I think that once this is over, the economy is really going to take off. I mean, cutting regulations, cutting the interest rates, plenty of oil. You know, even things like, you know, that affects small parts of the workforce, like, you know, cutting the commercial fishing over regulation. I mean, that's just an example in our own area. I mean, there... He's doing this everywhere, the Trump administration, and it's helping things. And you know what? It really bugs me to waste money with all the fraud, Gail, just like you. I love my tax dollars being used for that. That's helping make the world a better place. I'm sorry. I don't mean to sound like a war monger. But I think you're helping out the Iranians too by bringing this regime closer to the end of the line. You know, the sooner that regime is done, the sooner the Iranian people can be free, and the sooner everybody in the world can breathe a little bit of a sigh of relief. That'll help people out. And, you know, look, I mean, I believe he can do it. And they're used to hand the money out there. So I think that's a real positive, actually, to look forward to it. Hey, look, Biden got a ruling from the Supreme Court saying he couldn't forgive student loans and then he did it. So now the same people who said Biden was a courageous FDR-like. figure they're going crazy and saying that it's the end of democracy right right but this is actually i mean the president i you know you can get copy of the tape he actually said that he's given the money out so it's a real positive and the other thing is he also announced a major initiative today on uh health care tariffs for these companies that are you know they've basically been ripping the american public off let's face it we're footing the bill for the whole whole globe, basically. And the president announced tariffs on these companies that are not sort of playing by the rules that have been jam in Americans for years. And again, these are things that you won't see a statement in your paycheck, absolutely. But eventually that's both folded through to the public in form of lower drug prices because the president's gone after these companies that have been gouged in the American public for years. And I'm glad. I'm happy for it. Well, you know, I like the fact that he always keeps saying, you know, that people like Biden and Obama were the worst negotiators in the world because they would just come in and they would just agree to whatever the foreigners wanted, you know? And of course we get rolled.

Yeah, the amount of money that the drug companies in particular, I've looked at this data, and I mean, I keep saying, you know, because I just saw on Medicare like last year. And, you know, my wife hands me the bills, and she's like, this is for your drug plan. And I'm like, I thought it was free. And she just kind of laughed. But, you know, the drug plan alone is a couple hundred bucks a month. The Medicare plan is a couple hundred dollars a month. The Medicare plan in New York is so bad. We're paying $300 a month per person, right? The so-called free Medicare plan, right? So it's $600 a month. I called one of our politicians up the other day. I said, let me ask you a question. Why are we paying $300 a month per person in New York? And the cost in Connecticut for the same Medicare plans, $162 a month. Why are we paying $138 more? If only you were an illegal alien, John. Yeah. Did you see what Kathy Hochul now wants to do? She wants to lower the retirement age for teachers in New York State to 55. And I'm sure they get full, I'm sure they get full insurance, full health insurance. How much is that going to cost people? They only work eight months a year as it is. I mean, give me a break. I mean. I know. It's like it's like Illinois. Illinois and Chicago are about to go belly up because they, the pension obligations. And once the, once they got super majorities in the legislature in Springfield, they just started. you know, jamming more and more perks into the public sector union's retirement plans, you know, upping their pension, upping their health plans. And people are voting with their feet out of Illinois, out of New York, out of Massachusetts, out of California. You know, they're running away. Yeah, I have a friend that lives in Illinois, and he did live in Illinois. He just bolded for South Carolina, and his wife actually, well, she's also there, but another friend that used to live in Pennsylvania, and they're in South Carolina now because the taxes in these blue states are just overwhelming. Even if you're making a modest income, they nickel and dime you on everything. Yeah. Anyway, the president. Ken Griffin, he was in Chicago, Citadel. And he's a Florida guy originally, and now he's back here. The company, he's building south of Marlago on the island. And his company is going to be based in Miami. And, you know, I mean, he's one of the bigger ones, but there's all kinds of people that are moving down here, you know. Right. And they. why and that's why that's why you know Elizabeth Warren you know the fake indian now now she wants to come back with a national wealth tax so in other words so you can't run away you know I mean she she she wants to say so if you do move to South Carolina or Tennessee or Florida or Texas she they can still they can still get the money from you it's ridiculous yeah yeah it's absurd

And what it means is that, you know, if I steal someone's wallet in Japan, the Japanese authorities can arrest me and prosecute me. It's allegiance, meaning, can they control you as a matter of law?
