92 segmentsIt's a happy day. My heart feels like an alligator. It comes from the tabloid talk show stuff in Boston, and it was concocted there. Put your hand on the radio. Live from the burner less lethal pistol studio. Can somebody shout amen? It's Howie Carr. I'm here. 844-5402-42. 844-5-400-42. Welcome to the Howie Car Show here on Easter Monday, a holiday in certain states. Not Massachusetts, I don't think, although every day is a holiday, basically now in Massachusetts since nobody works. But the president is just in the midst of a press conference. You know, it's still going on. He made the big announcement about giving out details of the rescue, the amazing rescue of the downed airman yesterday on Easter Sunday morning. And then there were statements made by John Ratcliffe from the CIA and Pete Hegseth, the Secretary of War, and the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, General Raisin Kane. And now President Trump is taking questions. And it's nothing new so far. But it's, you know, we're expecting to learn more as time goes on about what's going to happen. Originally, as you know, the deadline for Iraq to, or Iran, excuse me, Iran to basically surrender was 8 o'clock tonight. And some time over the weekend it changed to 8 o'clock Eastern. tomorrow night. So the clock is ticking, and we're going to see, so they're exchanging proposals. And of course, the Iranians are doing what they always do, which is just try to delay, delay, delay. They're running out the clock.
You can't do that with Donald Trump, though, obviously. There is now a shot clock, just like in the NBA, just like in the college hoops. There is a shot clock, and you have to come up with a put the ball in the air. And the Iranians don't want to do that. They just want to keep delaying. And, you know. trying to survive to another day. And they're not surviving very well. And so we're just going to start taking, taking some calls here. What do you think is going to happen? And, I mean, how exciting was it yesterday to... to wake up to that news. And especially when, you know, all weekend long, or all Saturday anyway, the comrades, regime-controlled media or the fringes of it were putting out this, putting out these totally spurious. reports that President Trump had been hospitalized and was in Walter Reed. I don't follow it too much. I didn't know. I didn't even know it was going on. But the White House just put out a lengthy, lengthy compendium of the wall of shame, as they called it, and all these people who were saying, he's in Walter Reed Hospital. He hasn't been seen. And he's not in Marlago. He's not in Florida playing golf. Well, I don't know that he knew that a plane was going to be shot down. He didn't know, obviously, because it wasn't shot down until Thursday night, but it was announced middle of the last week that he wasn't coming down to Florida for the weekend. And the reason why he wasn't going outside was he was huddled in the situation room, you know, listening to the reports and making decisions about what they were going to do to try to get this airman out. And the mainstream media is, you know, making it seem like he's, he's incapacitated, like he's like he's in a, like he's Joe Biden. And nothing could be further from the truth. And it's, it's just outrageous. And now there. Now, you could tell yesterday that they wouldn't say it, but they were disappointed that the airmen had been rescued because all they care about is defeating Orange Man Bad, giving him another black eye. So when they say, well, Well, he got him out, but what about those older planes that they had to abandon? They were worth hundreds of millions of dollars. Really? Wait, are these the same people who said, who cheered, who applauded Joe Biden when he cut and ran in Afghanistan?
and left $87 billion in military equipment for the Taliban, who are now being brought into eastern Iran to back up the IRGC because all the IRGC and besiege people have run away. They're bringing them in from the West. They're bringing them in from Iraq and from the east. They're bringing them in from Afghanistan. I don't think it's going to work, but that's what they're doing. So now after not caring at all about $87 billion worth of arms that we abandoned after Joe Biden basically announced that we were surrendering months before we did, now they're concerned about a few hundred million dollars? I mean, if it weren't for double standards, these Democrats would have no standards at all. And 774 says this is the same media that broomed Lloyd Austin when he was the defense secretary being MIA, literally MIA. And he wasn't even the president. He was the defense secretary. They didn't care. They did not care in the least. They said this is a tempest in a teapot. This is a nothing burger of a store. Probably racist to even bring it up that he just took a powder, went on the lamb. Yeah. 6.03, I'd rather destroy a few planes than fund Somalian leering centers. I'm with you. I'm with you. I don't mind my tax dollars being used to destroy a nuclear threat. It wants to destroy. America. That wants to destroy civilization. Not just America. 844-500, 4242-408, 612 a gallon for diesel everywhere in Massachusetts. This hurts. Of course it hurts. I mean, we all understand that it hurts. But would it hurt more to have a nuclear holocaust on the East Coast? Or, I mean, maybe that's overstating it, at least, you know, until a decade or so from now. But. What about having a shakedown in the Strait of Hormuz? You know that I read this just now while I was preparing for the show. You know, there are nine countries that have shorefront on the Strait of Hormuz or the Gulf of Oman or whatever you want to call it there? Nine countries. Can you guess the one country? that is trying to hold up everything. Can you guess the one country that is firing missiles at the other eight countries? It's not a good situation to have this kind of rogue power out there. And they were just trying to bide their time, rebuild the nuclear.
facilities that were destroyed last June are severely damaged. They were trying to build them up and then protect them with an array of ballistic missiles, drone missiles and cruise missiles that would enable them to basically be invulnerable. There was actually a good editorial in the Wall Street Journal. saying that we made a big mistake with North Korea. You know, we let idiots like Jimmy Carter and corrupt Democrats like Bill Clinton try to handle North Korea. And they were just, they were worse than Neville Chamberlain in the 1930s in Britain dealing with Hitler. They were just rolled. And the North Koreans just bided their time until they got power enough to build nuclear warheads that they could hit Japan with. And now they're building intercontinental ballistic missiles that eventually will be able to hit the West Coast. And we can't do anything about it. But the North Koreans, as horrible as they are, aren't nearly as bad as the Iranians because the Iranians are religious fanatics. The North Koreans just want to keep power. But we're in a situation with North Korea where we can't go in because they have the nuclear weapons and they have the artillery aimed at Seoul, South Korea. And we have 35,000 troops as a tripwire. I hate to say it, but that's what they are. And we, and, you know, it's, it's a deadlock. And I don't know how the people of North Korea are ever going to get out from under it. And I don't know what the, what the end game is, how long it will take to bring down this, this, this horrible regime. But North Korea is a small country compared to Iran. Iran is 90 million people. It's twice the size of Alaska. And I mean, it's, it. to have them in the same situation as North Korea. And plus, plus as crazy as little rocket man is, he's a, he's a, I think he's a beacon of democracy compared to these, these nuts that we're running. We don't know who's running it now, but compared to who was running it. 844-542, 844-542-4-4-4-4-42. We're going to have a, we're going to take it a lot of calls. What do you think is going to happen in the next little over 24 hours before the deadline? Is there going to be a delay or what? Or are we going to go out? Or are we going to just take out all their power plants or just one or two? We're going to take out all their bridges or just one or two more? 844-542. I'm Howie Car. Howie Car will return.
Howie Car is back. Howie Carr is back. Today's poll question is brought to you by the Berna, less lethal pistol launcher. For those who want a powerful self-defense option without resorting to deadly force, visit berna.com slash howie to save 10%. B-Yr-R-na.com slash howie. B-Y-R-N-A dot com slash howie. Jared, what's the poll question and what are the results so far? Today is poll question, which you can vote in at howie carshow.com, is will the U.S. really start obliterating the Iranian power grid tomorrow night? Yes, no, just one plant as an example or announced delay for negotiations, quote unquote. I'm going to say they're going to take out one of them. 31% of the audience agree is just one plant as an example. 46% say yes. They're going to go after them all. 16% say announced a delay for negotiations. 7% say no. All right, 844-542-912 says, I'm a social security recipient, 345 for fuel in Georgia. I'd gladly pay twice that to do what the coasters say. Take out the papers and the trash. 844-4-4-42. Lord, it's... Tom, you're next with Howie Carr. Go ahead, Tom. Yeah, Howie, I look at what Trump has done with the bombing of the nuclear reactors was flawless. What they did to get Maduro was flawless. And then this operation was flawless. And I'm looking at social media posts with some people I went to high school with that are kind of, you can read between the lines. They're disappointed. And if we wind the clock back, if we wind the clock back to 1991, do you remember when Boris Yeltsin stood on that tank in Moscow Square and said, yet? I was working in Harvard Square that day that happened, and I will never forget the look of college students back, some college students, and other progressives with this look of, like, bewilderment, like, what happened? And all I can say, it reminded me in that scene of the famous Tom Hanks movie, Forrest Gump, when he went running around the country and he had the following, and all of a sudden he said, I'm going to go home.
And the one guy in the crowd goes, what do we do now? You know, what I was thinking about over the weekend, and they were disappointed. And I actually just tweeted out something just because it was so. so infuriating to see him. I said, you know, the New York Times headline tomorrow is going to be U.S. airmen rescued, Democrats disappointed. And all these people were so angry at me like I hadn't told exactly what they were thinking, Tom. I couldn't believe it. And, you know, you remember speaking of 91? You remember during the first Iraq war? Remember Baghdad Bob? Oh, yes, of course. Yeah, you know, Baghdad Bob, his name was Baghdad because he was in Iraq. He was from Baghdad. He had an accent and a beret. Now, all the Baghdad Bob's are working for the U.S. media. Yes, and I also remember Peter Arnett for CNN, who was rooting for Iran, the fourth largest military in the world and the body bags that will be coming home to America in this conflict. God, I remember those days. Yeah, but I mean, it's more overt now than it was then. I mean, they're just flat out. And again, I said it last week. I hear it. You know, when I'm listening to the, to the, I listen to the shows, the talk shows in midday and mid morning. It from. different places and all the local newscasts they're these young kids they're 20 in their 20s they're all rooting for an economic disaster they're they're rooting for inflation they're rooting for uh military disaster in the mid-east you could just tell it they they all they are is democrat operatives and they've and they've never been real reporters. That's all they know is to just spew, you know, whatever comes across from the George Soros type of type of social media. You know, I'm not saying it comes directly from George Soros, but it comes from his type of organizations or his, you know, like all these no king rallies that were sponsored, some of them are sponsored directly by George Soros organizations. And these are the people that are rooting for Iran.
844-5402-508. As a small business owner and a Trump supporter, how much longer should I keep eating $6 a gallon diesel? I mean, again, nobody wants it. Nobody is benefiting from this, but what are you going to do? Do you want to let him run roughshod? Was it better under Joe Biden? Surrendering? I'm Howie Carr. Live from the Burnah Less Lethal Pistol Pistol Studio, it's Howie Carr. 844542. That is the number, if you would like to join us, get your response to the President's News Conference, which just ended moments ago. At the end, he was taking some interesting questions about what was going on. And they were asking him, do you really want to destroy the infrastructure of Iran? And he said, well, no, no, we don't want to destroy it. He said, if we hit them as hard as we can, he said the entire country can be taken care of it one night. I think it just means, you know, bombing them back into the Stone Age. I mean, that doesn't mean you take over the entire country, but you just, it becomes Libya. overnight. I mean, with obviously a much more educated population, but, you know, they have more human resources, shall we say, in Iran than in Libya. But it... it's over for him. And he said if we hit them, it will take them 100 years to rebuild. Right now, it'll take them 20 years, and they're going to have to, and they're going to have to do it only, they can only do it with the help of the United States of America. And then he started talking about... Now we have another one. Thanks, Trump. Off-road diesel is $5.79 a gallon, just as we need to burn a ton of it planting crops and haying season in four to five weeks. These could be seminar texters. I don't know. I'm sure that I'm sure there's some people feel that way. And if I if I relied on diesel, if I had a trucking company, I'd be very concerned. And, you know, I don't I don't like paying higher prices. You know, it was only like what a little over a month ago. It was like, I don't know, 270 a gallon at Murphy, you know, next to Delray Beach next to Walmart. I mean, I wish it were that way again. But I don't know. One guy said, as long as he's beating the snod out of Iran, I'm okay with it. I can handle it for a while. 844-4-4-4-42. And then he started talking about NATO and about how they were worthless. And I got a really good story I'm going to read you at some point here today. It's a lengthy tweet from a guy named James E. Thorne.
Trump Hormuz in the end of the free ride. It's very well thought out. And, you know, about how they're going to, he's just, Trump is just basically saying, you know, we're not going to play this game anymore where we protect the oil for all these people that are giving us the back of their hand and virtue signaling to us and saying that we're warmongers while they just sit on their, their. rear ends with their thumbs up their bodily orifices and do nothing and i'll get to that in a in a little bit he also said he was asked about the oil and you know he said he said at the uh easter egg roll today that uh you know if he had his druthers he'd just move in there and take all the oil and then he said then uh he was asked about to uh to expound on that and he said Well, you know, the old saying, to the victor belongs to spoils. The first time he said, to the victim belongs to spoil, then he realized that he said, to the victor belongs the spoils. That's the way it always was. And even after World War II, we were, I mean, we took over everything, but it cost us money. You know, the Marshall Plan, we rebuilt Western Europe, including Nazi Germany. And then he said, he said, and NATO showed, show no, no, thanks. They have. assumed no responsibility for their own defense. And he said, and then he went, I thought it was interesting. He went down and he said, it wasn't only NATO. He named South Korea. He named Australia. He named Japan. And then he named the number of troops that we have stationed. South Korea, I said 35,000 earlier. He said 45,000. 45,000. South Korea hasn't helped. And South Korea gets a lot of, most of their oil. I think all of their oil, basically, through the straits of the Strait of Hormuz. Japan, there are 50,000 U.S. troops in Japan. And he said, they're there to protect the Japanese from Kim Jong-un, or little rocket man. And he says, and I get a long fine with Little Rocket Man, and then Australia, but what do you expect from Australia? They shut the country down for the COVID hoax. You know, they're not what they used to be. 844-542. 42. Joanne, you're next with Howie Car. Go ahead, Joanne. Yes, hello. I listen to you a lot, and I appreciate that. You're a friend of Donald Trump, and somebody needs to get through to him that we are so grateful. I woke up Easter morning. It was like the Berlin Wall had fallen again. It was so amazing. We're so grateful. If you know anything about history, I know you do, it's like one of those momentous occasions where you feel like there's optimism, and we don't have a big dummy in there anymore. It's like you can't believe how people in my town and my friends feel. We're so grateful. Please tell him that we get him. We get what he's doing. It's so wonderful. It's like America again. So just tell him thank you.
I will if I see him. I'm going to be down there on Friday night, as a matter of fact. But I don't know if he'll be coming in or not. You know, he wasn't there last weekend. I don't know if he'll be here this weekend. By the way, I should tell you that I'm going to be off for half the week. My daughter, Charlotte is getting married at Marlago on Friday night. So I'm going to be here today, obviously, tomorrow, half of Wednesday, but I'll be off on Thursday and Friday. So I'll be out the, I'll be out for half of the week. But thank you. If I see him, I'll express my, I'll express your, your, your, your pleasure with what, or satisfaction, I guess, is the better way to put it with, with what he's done. You know, he's put, put America first. You know, America first. I mean, this isn't Israel first. This is protecting our interests. And everybody had to do this. You know, another thing he said at this press conference, he said, you know, what happened with North Korea, them getting the nuclear bomb? It never should have happened. And again, it's just like that editorial I was telling you about in the Wall Street Journal, which laid it all out, which was Clinton, Clinton, you know, he didn't want to have to deal with it. He just wanted to chase interns around the resolution, the resolute desk or whatever it is in the Oval Office. And so he just said, he said to Jimmy Carter, you handle it. And Carter got rolled. You know, what could, Carter got rolled in Iran. So why would you give him another mission to enable him to get rolled by the North Koreans, which he did? And then he announces on CNN, of all places. He goes on CNN, like Neville Chamberl. I have brought peace in our time. No, no, no, you didn't, Jimmy. You bleep the bed again. And he did. And Trump just said, he said, I could tell you, I could tell you the president that did this, but believe it or not, I like that guy. I'm not going to embarrass him. We're words to that effect. But he was talking about Clinton. Can you imagine if Trump allowing, I don't know, George W. Bush or. or Pence to handle these negotiations? Hell no. He's not going to let them handle it. Those guys, those guys, they bleep the bed. 844-4-4-4-4-4-4-4-2-919. Your daughter is getting married and you didn't invite the landlord. You mean the landlord of the venue, the wedding venue? He knows he's invited. He knows he's invited. You know, it's a pleasure if you're having an event at Mara Lago. We got the tiny, the small ballroom. They got a big ballroom and they got a very small ballroom. I can't afford the big ballroom. I'm sorry to say. I mean, I'm not sorry to say. I don't think I'd pay for it even if I could. She doesn't need that big of a wedding. Nobody needs that big of a wedding.
But we've got like 80 people coming in, and it'll be a good event. And I would love it. I would love it if he comes down and, you know, says hello to the bride and groom and gets a picture taken with her nephew and her niece, my grandchildren. And that would be, it would be fantastic, but I'm not expecting it. 844-4-4-42. Diego, you're next with Howie Carr. Go ahead, Diego. How are you doing, Holly? Good. I just want to say, these liberals and Democrats, they don't want to save them, the dogs, the cats. You know, they'll spend $19 a month saving dogs and cats and all their liberal organizations. They don't want to spend a couple of bucks a month or a couple of bucks a week on gas. to save their own nation and their own liberty. What's up with that? I know, and Diego, here's the thing. It's like they didn't care when Joe Biden raised the gas prices through his own insanity, through his own green religion, a cult, a crazy cult that hurts everybody, that's insane. They didn't care when he raised the prices. They said it was no big deal, right? Now the prices are much, the price increases are much less, and it's actually for a reason, and they're going crazy. Because none of it is about reality. It's just about a game, and the game is defeating Donald Trump. That's all they care about. That's all they care about. That's the worst kind of person you could be, is just to be. Just to be against somebody, even if they're right, it's ridiculous. When you're willing to hurt your own self and your own family, just because they don't like somebody, that's crazy. Yeah, Saturday Night Live was making jokes on, you know, on the weekend broadcast about, you know, oh, President Trump went to the theater. What's the worst thing that could happen when a president goes to the theater in Washington, D.C.? They're making jokes about assassinations again. I mean, it's not like he hasn't been shot in the head. It's not like another Democrat tried to shoot him in West Palm Beach on the golf course. It's not like the Iranians were true. They had a hit squad. They were trying to hire hit men to get him. He said three assassination attempts in less than two years. And Saturday Night Live thinks it's a big joke. 844-542-4-339. Did my wedding invitation get lost in the mail? I can't help that. I'm not responsible for the United States Postal Service. 508, the chump line will be full of cheap skate messages now. That's okay. That's okay. Frank, you're next with Howie Carr. Go ahead.
I'm going to read a few statistics. Just go along with what you've been saying. The military has flown over 13,000 missions in Iran. Only three planes have been shot down. We've had 13 service members killed, and that's the same amount that was killed during Joe Biden's debacle. Kabul, yeah. Recrete from Afghanistan. There's been more people murdered in Chicago in the same time that we've been. at war with Iran that have been killed over there. We had $5 gas under Biden for his green news scam, and yet the Democrats are worried about $4 a gallon when we're destroying an enemy that's been attacking us for 47 years. Right. That's killed over 1,000 Americans that chanted, that had mobs chanting death to America every Friday night in Tehran. Yes. Yeah. I mean, it's just crazy that they're, thank that's a very good call, Frank. And I think it's really, the one statistic that really strikes, stands out of my mind. And what I first heard it is there have been more people in the last, since February 28th, there have been more people killed, more Americans killed in Chicago than in, than Americans killed in the mid-east. Many more, many, many more. 844-542-42, 844-542. So you're telling us your daughters-in-law have money. We all know you're too cheap to pay for Magalog. Magalog. I'm paying for it. I'm paying for it. It's not my daughters-in-law. It's my daughter. 844-4-4-4-42. I'm Howie Carr. Watch the show live. Soundwave. Dispatch Rumble. At rumble.com slash the Howie Car Show. Bumble Activate. Howie Car is back.
844-542-42-617 says, congratulations, how he is Roscoe the Wonder Pug going to be there? No, he'll be two miles north at our place. A beautiful dog, a talented dog. After all, isn't this the daughter you said you were having a custody battle? No, that's the daughter I'm having the custody battle with over Roscoe is the maid of honor. That's Tina. He should be there. Love Roscoe. Roscoe was, he got a, Tina bought him a tie. She was down there this weekend for Easter and from New York. And she went back though for a few days to go to work. But she bought him a collar, a formal collar that has a bow tie on it. So that's his official wedding tie, even though he's not going to be there. Just bring a cardboard cut out of him. We're leaders all over the place are doing that. Wall Street Journal breaking says 201. Howie Carr's daughter or daughter's wedding at Mar-a-Lago. First, B-Y-O-B wedding in Mar-Lago history. Maga-Wago! Everybody, now, underneath, there's another, from 508, a 15-minute open bar. No, there's not a, it's, it's, oh. Come on, it's a cash bar. Come on, guys.
It's an open. The open bar is going to be at the, at the VFW Hall in Lake Worth. Okay. It's not a far, it's not, it's not, it's. It's so near and yet so far from Marlago. No, there will be an open bar that's a, it's a great, it's going to be a great spread for the food. You're just going to bootleg some alcohol there like menthols out of the trunk of the car. It's not a huge crowd, though. It's about 80 people. That's, that's about, that's about all I could, all I could spring for. Besides, it's in the small ballroom, the small ballroom, okay. 8, 4, 4. Maybe I shouldn't have told, maybe I shouldn't have told this. But, you know, if... If I just disappeared on Wednesday in the middle of the show, it wouldn't be like with Trump, but I'd be getting a mini version of that. Howie is sick. Howie's dead. An ambulance was seen going to the good Sam, taking him out of the Clear Channel cluster in West Palm. No, no, I'm going to be okay. I got to go to a welcoming. party at my at my condo on wednesday night then there's a rehearsal dinner on worth avenue and then the wedding is friday evening in marlago it's going to be a it's going to be a nice thing and i'm going to be wearing a tuxedo it's all it's all i got it the dry clean this weekend everything's cool i got the suit i got to wear it to the rehearsal dinner it's been dry cleaned everything is everything is ready to go everything is all set 844-542. Yeah, but did you invite 80 money people or just family? Do I look like I'm getting married? I didn't come up with the list. I'm just the guy with the checkbook. I'm the father of the bride. You've seen the movie, I believe, or one of the movies. I just get stuck with the bill. That's all. 844-500, 4242.42. We'll be right back. Keep talking about Iran. What happens next? I'm Howie Carr.
