Sugar, spice, and everything nice. These were the ingredients chosen to create. The Grace Curley Show. Radio, TV, print, Grace Curley does it all. She sings, she dances, she acts. I'm waving by the door for my pull-it service. She sounds hideous. She's just the worst. Yeah. She's a wacko. She is. She is the devil. I'm in hell. Now. here's the millennial with the mic. He still leads me both breathless and speechless. I love her. I love her. She is the best. Some will ask you to say grace. Grace Curley. Great! Hello everyone and welcome back to the Grace Curley show. Thank you so much for joining us today. Happy Friday. It's a happy Friday indeed. The Dow is surging. Oil prices have dropped by, you know, 10 to 13 percent. And of course, this comes on the heels of President Trump announcing a 10-day ceasefire between Israel and Lebanon and Iran declaring that the Strait of Hormuz. Straight whore moves, as Chuck Schumer says, is completely open and ready for full passage. I'm admittedly a little confused. All right, so I'm glad you're saying that. Because I called several people this morning because I was confused as well. I don't think they had control of it. How can they open it if they're not the ones closing it? All right, so I figured this out. I called several different people, including Howie Carr, and including Matt Boyle, who's going to join the show at 1230. And sometimes you just got to throw it out there to people. You got to say, hey, and Taylor, this is what I appreciate about you. You're not afraid to say, I don't get it. I'm confused. You know, like that one kid in class who raises their hands and says, I'm lost, and then the teacher starts all over, and everybody goes, thank God, because I had no idea what was going on. I was confused by this too because when Trump announced, hey, Iran is declaring that the straight is fully open and ready for passage and ready for business, I was like, hmm. Sounds like good news, but how? How are they declaring it? Because weren't we the ones in charge of it? Here's what I figured. This blockade, as a lot of people have missed over the last few days, was not meant to prevent ships that were coming from places other than Iran or going to places other than Iran from going through. So if you were a ship and you were coming from a different country and you were going to a different Gulf country that was not Iran, you were technically allowed to go through. Iran... What was the ship? Iran... Iran... has been feeling that pressure. Despite what Chuck Schumer said, Chuck Schumer said that the Strait of Hormuz is a cash cow for Iran, that they're richer than ever, they're more powerful than ever, they're closer or, you know, want a bigger nuclear bomb now more than ever, and that this whole thing was Operation Epic failure. But Iran...

3:06

has been feeling the pressure of losing this money every single day. And like I pointed out last week, when you make it so clear by dangling it out there all the time that your only piece of leverage is this straight and you're using it as your main chip, then you kind of give away the game. Because then Trump and all these other military experts are going, all right, so as long as we just get control of that thing, then they really are bleep out of luck. Then they're up a creek without a paddle. And so while other ships were allowed to go through any Iranian ships or any ships that were coming from Iran, they would send back. The U.S. Navy is hunkered down there and they would say, you've got to turn around. You're not getting through here. And the ships would say, okay, got it. They actually have audio, a CENTCOM released audio, them talking to certain ships saying, you are not coming through here. And the captains or whatever, I don't know what you're called on an oil ship would say, all right, we'll turn back around. So when I saw the news today that the straight is open for passage, I was confused. And then Trump said this. And this is very important, I think, Taylor. He said first he said Iran has just announced that the Strait of Iran is the Strait of Iran is fully open and ready for full passage. Thank you. And then he said the Strait of Hormuz is completely open and ready for business and full passage. But the naval blockade will remain in full force and effect as it pertains to Iran only. Until such time as our transaction with Iran is 100% complete, this process should go very quickly and that most of the points are already negotiated. Thank you for your attention to this matter, President Donald J. Trump. In other words, other ships are going to, Iran is not going to try to stop these ships from coming through. And they're doing that, I think, to gain some goodwill here because they're desperate, as Pete Hegseth and Trump have been saying for a deal or some sort of the last few days have really put them in a bad spot. But Trump is not going to stop putting pressure on Tehran. Like it's not as if they all of a sudden are going to be able to send all their ships through. So he's really what he's done here with this move. is he's flipped it on its head. It's like that was their big piece of leverage and they were saying, hey, we're going to let certain ships through and we're going to charge certain ships a toll to go through and we're going to put $2 million tolls on each ship. And Trump has said, no, not only are you not going to do that. These ships are going to be able to go through and you're actually going to be the only ones who are not allowed to send your ships through. So yeah, I think it's worth, at least for today. And here's my rule with this oil stuff. I don't get too high and I don't get too low.

5:41

Yeah, I could come on here and be like, the Tao is surging is down 10%. Let's go, MAGA, baby. And maybe I will do a little bit of that with Matt Boyle because it's Friday and why not you've got to celebrate the wins. But these things are very fluid. These things are very fragile. So it could change very quickly. But I will say I'm laughing at that cut from Chuck Schumer that we played yesterday where he was like, the straight of Hormuz is now more profitable for Iran than ever before. It's a cash cow. And I was thinking of myself, How can you say that with a straight face when you know from CENTCOM unless, as Chuck Schumer, you're telling me you don't believe what CENTCOM is putting out there. And that's kind of a whole different story. It's kind of a whole different can of worms. We're going to talk to Matt Boyle about this. So any questions you have, throw them out to us. I'll ask Matt Boyle. I already talked to him a little bit this morning. And I'm excited to have them on. There's so much going on today. Please excuse my, what would you call this, Taylor? It's a little bit of a... This is the time. It had cold. Yeah. I had it earlier this week. Dare I say it's a little sexy, though? Can I put that out there? Does it sound a little like, ooh, she could sing jazz or something? HR? All right, well, you don't have to answer that. Can you sing jazz? No, I can't. And honestly, it just makes me sound rather manly, I think. My voice is even deeper than usual. I feel like Phoebe buffet, sticky, sticky shoes. Yeah, so we'll talk about all of this, but something I want to talk about today, which is... What did I call you this morning? Corrella Deville. Oh, yeah. Speaking of... It's her. It's that devil woman. Speaking of HR, I walk in. I guess the outfit kind of lends itself. I got red lipstick on. You were wearing a trench coat and you've got furs on or something. Yeah, I walked in and this is how. Adita, darling. That didn't help either when you said that. I walked in and I've always come to you, Taylor. so full of hope. Like, I always come to you. And I'm like, oh, I have something. It's your problem, really. I have something I want to tell him. I have something I want to tell him that I think he's going to be interested in. And I open my mouth and I say, Taylor, did you see this thing about, and he goes, okay, smoking a pack a day, Corella DeVille. And just like that. Said lay up the six Corella DeVille. This is going to bring back the old rumor about me with the Virginia Slims. This sounds like a smoker's, smoker's voice. I do love a raspy voice, though. I've never had one, and so today I get to pretend. Earth a kit. You know what I want to talk about, though? Because it's Friday, and like I said, I like to have a little fun. there's a lot of controversy. Not if you live in the real world and you're not chronically online and you have a life, in which case you would never know this is going on. But luckily for you guys, I am there for you and I'm diving into this stuff over some of the construction that Trump is proposing. And this has to do with our poll question, so we'll continue to talk about it. But I wanted to start with the arch.

8:34

Lach de Tronf, as is being called. It's this triumphal arch that Trump wants to build in D.C. And this is kind of a good news, bad news day for Trump on the construction front. On one hand, a judge is saying he cannot build the ballroom. We'll get into the reasons why. I think they're bogus, but, you know, that's kind of an obvious call out for me. And then on the other hand, he's kind of gotten the stamp of approval on this arch. But there are people who are proactively protesting the arch and they're mad about it and I love I've told you guys this before my favorite form of protest it's not the signs it's not the lawns it's not the pins it's nothing like that I want want to hear from you. And I think that art is the way to change hearts and minds. And I think that a lot of liberals out there agree with me. So here's the latest. There's a group of people. They're in pink shirts. I've noticed that with Democrats, they love the pink shirts. And they are singing in protest of Trump's art. It's supposed to be... Which side are you on? Which side are you on?

9:47

I wish I could be the tell me person. Because I always love that. I love the person who's just given the... You're going to say that every time I play that. Just giving the encouragement. Here we go. That should be named. Oh. Which side are you on? Which side are you on? Bring it lower now. Which side are you are? Little faster now. Which side are? Yeah, but they weren't singing that though, unfortunately. I think you should really, they should really try to do that at every single one. Because Taylor, that's the kind of song or the kind of chant or anthem that works in any situation. Easy to. grasp because they're always on the 90 side or sorry Trump's always on the 90 side they're always on the 10 side but it's still a side which side are you on are you on the side of regular people or are you on the side of us of the crazies so this is their song in protest of the arch this is cut one please tell you like the good fight with all without your assistance what the world means now is love it don't love it it's a little sloppy I feel like Ruben Gallego. Or not Ruben Gallego. Who's the guy? Is it Rubin? Who's the guy in American Idol? Simon Cowell. Who's the other guy? Randy Jackson? Randy Jackson. I was thinking of Rubin stuttered. Yeah, Randy Jackson. I feel like Randy Jackson. Or maybe I'm more. I think I'm today especially, I'm more of a Paula Abdul. That's not what I wanted. Are you kidding? I wanted to be the next American Idol. Yeah, so that's cut one. I hope it gets, does it get better? Please tell me what insanity looks like. This is what.

11:34

I will agree with them on that. I'm not going to fact check them. This is what insanity looks like. Getting out there during the work day, which I don't think is a hurdle for most of these people, to protest at Arch that isn't even close to being built yet. If we're being realistic here, I mean, all we've seen right now is renderings. So I don't think this is. Trump does tend to make things happen pretty quickly. But even so, it's like with everything going on in the world. This is the topic, this is the protest du jour is an arch that we, we're not even in the process of building it. What do you think of the arch? I like it, but I agree with the concern because I've only been to D.C. a few times. My brother, my younger brother actually is a graduate, an alum of Catholic University. So I've been there a few times. And I thought it was really, one of the things I really like about D.C., which I think is really cool, is if you're at one of the monuments, You can see pretty much all the other important monuments from where you are. They have a lot of strict height requirements for buildings besides monuments so that you keep that sight line when you're in D.C. So if you're at the Lincoln Memorial, you can see the Washington Monument. Like you can see everything. It's really cool. You don't have to like bring out your map. You're like, oh, we want to go see the White House. Oh, there it is. And I like that landscape of it. So I think the concerns that are being raised, the legitimate ones about, hey, if it's right here, it's going to block, I think they said it's going to block the Robert E. Lee Memorial. And if you're there, you can't see maybe the Arlington. I don't know. They said that there's a sightline problem where it could block another monument. That, I think, is totally legitimate. I don't think it has to be, I know how Trump's mind works. He wants it to be the biggest. He wants it to be the biggest arch in the world. but I would prefer it just to be a beautiful arch that doesn't hinder the sight line of other monuments. I don't think he's going to be beating the St. Louis arch. Well, if this one goes up, yeah. They said it's going to be... No. That one, you need an elevator to go up. Tell me. I think that you're talking like ornamental arches. Yeah, maybe that one isn't under the category. Whatever he said, he's working it in, so it's going to be the biggest one. I don't know. He probably just wants to beat France. Like, that's probably what it is. But I'd rather be able to see everything. And they're saying now, Teller, that they're going to have stuff on top of it. And that to me is always a weasel move where it's like, oh, we're the tallest one in the world because we stuck a big rod up the top. You know how they do that? I don't like that. I don't go for that. I know what you're doing and I'm not impressed with that. So I don't have a problem with them tweaking it. You know, it's okay to have a couple minds in there, a couple of disagreements to get it just right. But as far as seeing it up there and seeing it be built, and you know what I have another thing on this, but we're running long. We're going to come back to this in the next segment. Okay, we're talking arch today. It's so easy to put things off. I do it. all the time. I was actually at an event a couple weeks ago and this woman said to me, so what do you think? Are you happy with your smile? She'd been hearing me talk about perfect smiles, talk about my process with Envisaline and I said, oh, I'm so happy with my smile. And she said to me, I wish I could say the same thing. And I said, well, girl,

14:40

Like, now's the time. Don't wish. Don't wish and think about, oh, maybe someday. Do it now. Call up Melissa at perfect smiles. She'll get the ball rolling for you. And that's the kind of comment I hear a lot where people have insecurities about their smile. Maybe you think your teeth could be whiter. Maybe you think they are a little bit crooked and they need an adjustment. Maybe you just want to go in for a cleaning and you're a little nervous. You haven't been in a while. This is the Grace Curley Show. This is the Grace Curley Show.

16:03

All right, we've got another cut here from the anti-arch, anti-ballroom, anti-fund, anti-construction crew in D.C. Can I get cut three, please, Taylor? No big. No ballroom. No Trump. No Trump. Can we say that together? I don't know. No kids. No ballroom. No Trump. They're complaining about their underwear? No kids. No ballroom. Hmm. You've got to have a hook. You know, you've got to have, where's the beat? It's my question. Where's the beat? Give me something I can hold on to. And whenever you have to say, can we put it all together? It's like, hmm, the answer's already there. No, we cannot. If you have to ask, the answer's no. I want to talk about this. Show me what insanity looks like. This is what insanity is. right they're right they're on the mark with that one that is the truest Chant I've ever heard. This is what insanity looks like. Today's poll question is brought to you by the Nassau Beach Inn, the only lodging on the Cape Cod National Seashore. Taylor, what is the poll question and what are the results thus far? Today's poll question, which you can vote in at grace curly show.com, is which project would you rather see completed? United States Triumphal Arch or the White House ballroom. Hey, I'm on board. I would like to see both of them, but if I had to choose and it were up to me. Which you do have to choose. He's very sassy today, everyone. He's in a mood. I think I would choose. the arch because that's the one that most people are going to see. I'm probably not going to get to check out the ballroom. You know what? No, I'm going to put this into the atmosphere. I am going to see that ballroom someday. I'm going to be dancing in that ballroom. I'm going to have a great time. But no, for the sake of the regular folk out there who are listening, okay? For the sake of the listeners, I'm going to say the arch. Because don't you want everyone to be able to see it? Like, that's really cool. Most of us aren't going to be hanging out with like foreign ministers at the ballroom. Exactly what I was thinking as well. Most people. are going to want to see something. Yeah. You know, and most people aren't going to be in the ballroom. So 81% though say the ballroom. Wow. Really? Y'all crazy for that. You know what I was thinking about, though, Taylor, with the arch is when I first heard about the plan, and I don't remember exactly what Newsday it was, but it was something where the hits just kept on coming. Like, it wasn't great news. And then Trump brought up the arch, and I was like, I don't know if this is a good time for this. But then I thought... It's never, it's like taking a vacation. There's never a good time, really.

19:03

to build something big and try to sell it to people. It's like, hey, we need this bill. But you do need to create things. You need to keep creating monuments and art and buildings and landscape. And, you know, you need to keep adding to the culture and to the history. And while it would be easy to say, hey, I'm not going to build that right now because I've got my hands full with X, Y, or Z or it's not going to look good to people that I'm working on this piece of construction when this is going on. I actually think that. That's not the right mentality to have. You have to keep building and moving forward. And imagine if in the olden days they had decided not to build things because times were tough. There would be no monuments to go see. We'll be right back with Matt Boyle. It's Friday. We're having fun. Stick with us. All right, this is from Breitbart. Trump confirmed straight of whore moves completely open to all shipping traffic. And he took to his social media account on true social to make the public confirmation. He did also note that the blockade is remaining in place for Iran. Joining us now to talk about this and the plunging price of oil is Matt Boyle from Breitbart. Matt, give me your reaction to this news. Yeah, well, look, I think what this demonstrates is that everybody who put a lot of trust in President Trump throughout this whole process, throughout the war and throughout the negotiations with the Iranians and so on and so forth, they were right, right? Like, at what point do we stop betting against President Trump? Clearly the President knows what he's doing when it comes to these things, right? The President is very much focused. Sorry, I'm in New York City and there are... sirens drive around me. It's very loud here. But anyway, the point is that clearly the president knows what he knows what he's doing when it comes to world geopolitical affairs, when it comes to U.S. military engagement, when it comes to deals. And maybe at some point it's time for everybody to stop, you know. undercutting him at every turn, right? Like, trust the president, right? And I think that those people who did trust the president throughout this whole thing are being proven right. And I think those people that are being critical of him throughout the whole thing are being proven wrong yet again. Here we go again. Yeah, trust in Trump. That's usually my motto in most cases. Matt, I did want to ask you, though, so do I have this right? It's like the straight is open for any vessels that aren't either going to Iran or coming from Iran. And so that's why there's still pressure on Tehran right now to come to the table and make a deal. So when we're hearing that Iran is opening up the straight or they're declaring the straight open, is that them just trying to kind of get into good graces of Trump or make it more likely that this deal comes together? I think that the U.S. blockade is still in place when it comes to Iranian ships and whatnot. That's kind of what the president has said, and that's what they've said, yeah. And it's just a maximum pressure campaign here on making the Iranians agree to the terms that the U.S. has laid out. And the president said to multiple reporters this morning,

22:26

that the Iranians have apparently agreed to all of this stuff, like no more enrichment of uranium, no more nuclear stuff. They've agreed to give up nuclear weapons. So we'll see as the process moves forward towards the deal eventually in the off-ink. And there are some reports even out there that the president himself may travel to Islamabad to Pakistan, where the negotiation started last weekend with the vice president leading them to finalize the deal himself. And so if that's the case, there's a lot of promising news here that this thing is coming to a rapid and quick end where, again. All of the U.S. objectives were achieved here. We wiped out the Iranian regime. We took out their nuclear program. We took out their missile capabilities. We decimated their Navy and their Air Force. And then they've agreed to all the U.S. terms, apparently, and at the end of it all... We're getting the straight open with no conditions, right? Like, so the fact of the matter is, is that at what point was the president wrong during all of this, right? Like, the president was right on everything, right? Like, so, again, that's why I say, if this pans out the way that the president and things, saying the way that things are looking right now, this is going to be a massive win for the United States. And it comes right ahead of the president's trip to China where he's going to be meeting with. uh... jing ping in baysing later in may and uh... will see where that goes right and then who knows maybe there's a deal to be had with the russians and the war in ukraine and somewhere there's surely there after who knows so the fact of the matter is is that uh... the president's just on fire uh... and uh... the people that uh... been critical of them i think of just been dead wrong the whole thing right the president said he was going to use in four to six weeks well he did it in uh... just under six weeks right like the ceasefire was announced two days before the six week mark and uh... it's just massive credit to president trump he deserves it all Yeah, and I have to ask, I know you have a great relationship with the vice president, JD Vance, and he seems to have been tasked over the last few days of kind of reaching out to those voters who were unhappy with this decision to enter this conflict with Iran and explain to them how, yeah, this might be an issue that you don't agree with, but please don't forget about all the other things that we've been accomplishing. I'd like your reaction to how he's been able to navigate that and kind of what it shows about JD Vance's political future. Well, I think that JD Vance is a really effective communicator. I think that's a big part of the reason why President Trump picked him to be vice president in the first place. He's also somebody who deeply, deeply understands the coalition, that a unique coalition that President Trump assembled in the 2024 comeback, which is even more.

25:21

part or core populist working class than the coalition that elected Trump the first time in 2016. You know, the majority of Hispanic voters, majority of Catholics, right? We see the back and forth right now with the Pope and the Italian Prime Minister. And I think all that stuff is going to sort itself out. But the fact of the matter is that JD Vance, of course, is a Catholic, right? has unique credibility in that respect. He's coming out with a new book, focus on his conversion to Catholicism. And he's somebody who comes from that working class world. Like, you know, his personal story is extremely powerful. So in addition to all of the things that we, you know, talk about about his current skill set, which is pretty incredible, he also has this personal story that, again, keeps him grounded and connected with those people and has unique credibility with them to be able to. communicate with them. And I think, you know, I get it that there's always palace intrigue and, you know, pilot talk or whatever about this person or that person for 2028. Look, JD Vance is the odds-on favorite to be the next president in the United States in the 2028 election. He's probably going to be the Republican nominee and probably going to be the president, right? The fact of the matter is that there's a lot of things that have to happen between now and then. He has to decide to run. We have to see if anybody's serious runs against him in both the primary of the general election. But the, you know, things are looking very, very good for JD Vance, I would say, at this point, I think he is uniquely positioned, has the skill set necessary, and the personal story necessary to be able to do this. And we continue to see over and over again every time he. he gets engaged on something. It works, right? Like, so, but JD Vance got the talks going in Islamabad with the Iranians and set the framework for this eventual deal that seems to be in the offing and coming together. So, you know, it's, you know, he's also leading the anti-fraud task force. He's instrumental, I think, to the president's efforts. And I think the future is as bright as ever for the vice president. Now, speaking of the vice president, he wants. praised you as the most well-sourced journalist in D.C., and that was on the heels of recommending that Jeff Bezos hire you at the Washington Post. I would be remiss if I didn't ask the most well-sourced journalist in D.C., what is coming down the line here when it comes to Eric Swalwell and his best friend in the world, Senator Ruben Gallego? Now we know that Eric Swalwell, that five women have come forward and accused ex-Congressman Eric Swalwell of sexual assault. rape and other instances of inappropriate behavior. But GOP rep Luna is accusing Senator Ruben Gallego of misconduct. He's obviously playing the I didn't know anything card map, but what are you hearing in D.C.? And is this just the tip of the iceberg?

28:20

Yeah, so first of, JD Vance's words, not mine, right? Like, so I'm very honored that he thinks that. So, you know, I just work hard, right? Like, I talk to as many people as I can. As for Eric Swalwell, obviously, he's already resigned from Congress and dropped out of the governor's race in California. And he's in serious trouble, right? Like, there are apparently multiple criminal investigations that are open, the U.S. or the district attorney in Manhattan. Alvin Bragg is apparently open an investigation of certain allegations. We're seeing the Justice Department beginning to look at things. We're seeing other people. So I don't know where that all goes. He's in serious trouble. I would not want to be Eric Swalwell right now, right? And it does appear as though there's very serious, serious stuff to be investigated in possible charges. I don't know. So we'll see. As for Ruben Gallego, I don't think anything's been proven yet. So, you know, I want to hold our horses here before we... go too crazy with it. But that being said, you know, there's a lot of smoke there, right? Like, you know, he, of course, was very good friends with Congressman Swallow. And... You know, he did a lot of different things with him. You know, I met Ruben Gallego one time a year or so ago, and it seems like a nice enough guy. So I just don't know. And so maybe, maybe not. Maybe there is something to it. Maybe there isn't. But, you know, there's a lot of smoke there, right? So we're seeing a lot of allegations made. The former speaker, Kevin McCarthy, came out and said something yesterday I saw as well. So we'll see as the investigations proceed. Of course, Rubago is denying anything wrong, like, but so did Eric Swalwell. So does anybody in that situation. Yeah, well, Matt, hold on one second there because I want to work in another question because Stephen Miller was on television. I think he was on Fox with Jesse Waters the other day. And he said that a lot of these Democrats have blackmail. And that's kind of the point, is that they're very easily convinced to do one thing or to follow the company line because there's blackmail on them. Do you buy that? And probably, yeah. So, I mean, like, look how fast they came out against Walwell. But you don't think they all knew about that before? Right? Like, why did they do what they did when they did it, right? Because he was a threat to their power structure when he was running for governor of California in that he was potentially splitting the vote on them to the point where there might be two Republicans heading into the runoff for governor of California. And then all of a sudden swiftly on Friday night, the story breaks. And by Monday, he's out of the race. Right? Like, it's like, where did that come from? These incidences were supposedly happened years ago. You don't think that the Democrat leadership knew about this stuff? Of course they did, right? Like, of course they did, right? Like, there was some reports out there that Politico was even investigating it when Swallow was running for president in 2020, right? Like, and there's, you know, the fact of the matter, I don't buy that for a second, but the Democrat leadership didn't know about this, Nancy Pelosi, Hakeem Jeffries, Chuck Schumer. Of course they did.

Right? Like, and so why did they weaponize him out? Because, again, he was a threat to their ability to control the governor's race in California, which is their most important state. Right. So that's why. When he was a state blue district house member, they didn't care. They allowed him to do whatever he wanted. It's when he stepped up into the bigger limelight that they decided to roll this out weaponizing. Yeah, he didn't know his limitations. That would have been his greatest strength is just saying, wow, it's amazing I've gotten this far. I should probably just hang tight. Matt, I want to ask you quickly here. I only have time for like a minute more. What is your take on the redistricting effort in Virginia? Barack Obama is now hitting the campaign trail. He's urging voters to vote heavy for the redistricting here. What is your take on it? How worried should Republicans be? Well, it's going to be tight. We'll see what happens as it develops. But. I think that the far-left nature of Abigail Spanberger, who everybody in the establishment media and Democrat establishment lied to the voters of Virginia by claiming she was a quote-unquote moderate. That was a lie, obviously, is backfiring on them. So I think that voters are very skeptical of anything the Democrat establishment and establishment media tells them. So it may or may not work out for them in the end, but I think the Republicans should cite it as hard as they can. Yeah, I also think it's hysterical that Abigail Spanberger, who now all these voters know they can't trust her word on anything. She's trying to convince them that this redistricting effort would be temporary. Anything that a politician tells you is temporary, whether it's tolls or taxes or like, oh yeah, in a little while, we'll take it away. We'll bring things back to normal. If you buy that, I have a beautiful, huge bridge that I could sell you. Matt Boyle, thank you so much for coming on the show. Tell people where they can read all your work. Welcome back, everyone, to the Grace Curly Show. News I'm kind of sad about. Ice director Todd Lyons is resigning from the job, you know, citing family, not family issues, I think, but just personal decision that his children, his two sons are at the age where I don't know if he's having, if they're having kids, maybe he's a grandfather. I'm not sure, but it sounded like they're going to need him in his help a little bit more. So he has decided that he is resigning and the announcement followed his testimony. testimony before the House Appropriation Committee Subcommittee on Homeland Security regarding the ICE budget. This again is from Breitbart. And one of the things that he talked about, which you will not hear about if you tune in to the mainstream media, they have no interest in this. But this was also at the same time, this resignation came hours after he announced during this hearing, the largest Chinese illegal alien gift card fraud in history. Take a listen to this sound cut. Cut five, please. What we've found is that it's key for HSI to have the ability to work international. And that is with our partnership, again, as I spoke earlier about in the Indo-Pacific region, that is key right now. The CCP is a huge threat, as well as their transnational criminal organizations that have come over here. to just wreak havoc. I'll give you an example. HSI actually broke the largest gift card fraud case ever. And it was from transnational gangs within the CCP that were sending that money back to military units in China. And that all came from gift card fraud here in the United States. So we're literally funding our own adversaries through that fraud. Yes. And it was, unfortunately, military-aged Chinese males that entered under the last administration through the poorest border that were able to go. It was something as simple as gift card fraud. we're just supplying small amounts, whether it be $20, $15, back to the people of the Republic of China. And that was huge. And that's all coming from people who can afford it the least, right? I've talked to some of these people who've been victims of fraud, and it is incredible what these transnational organizations are doing to take advantage of our most vulnerable, many of them senior citizens in places like Iowa who are taking advantage of. Yeah, and I know the main wire has been covering this a lot too, this kind of fraud, this kind of scheme. But really amazing stuff. He will stay on until the end of May. But this is a huge move here. This is a huge resignation for...

the administration so curious who they will put in there but tom homin Stephen Miller other members of the administration just offering up their huge gratitude and thanks to todd lions who has done a phenomenal job and you know what i like about him taylor is like he's not showy it's not about him that was that's the difference a lot of people would ask me sometimes like why don't you seem to like christie known blah blah It's not that I don't like anybody. It's just when it becomes more about you and I'm reading stories that focus on you and you riding a horse or you spending a lot of money on makeup and hair, I'm like, you seem like someone who'd be better off in television than in this administration. And I never, I mean, Todd Lyons, he's the last guy who made anything about himself. He was very under the radar. And you couldn't actually, I would say. A good comparison would be like Tom Homan. They're about the business. They're about the business. And in this case, the business is deporting illegal aliens. And they've done a phenomenal job of it in this first year. So congrats to him. I hope the resignation. I hope that he's able to. enjoy his family. Now, when we come back, we have a few things to talk about. We're going to talk to Mike Crawford from the young jerks about Trooper Quigley. We're also going to talk about devout Catholic Joe Biden because I've had enough of this. I understand that you can be a Catholic and you can have disagreements with the church. But as much crap as Trump's getting for going after the Pope, Biden gets a pass. This is the guy who reversed his stance on a Hyde Amendment. We're going to talk about it. We have so much to get to on this Friday afternoon, so stay with us. We'll be right back.
