You know who I think should be very worried right now is Major General Ahmad Vahidi. Because he was in charge here. I guess he was giving the orders to get in there. And disrupt the Strait of Hormuz and send out these ships that we're trying to get through the blockade. And that's when the U.S. Navy warned this ship, one ship in particular, the Tussuk. Tuska, I think it was called, that they needed to stop. They didn't listen, so they blew out their engine room. And of course, the meltdown over the weekend was like, how dare they do that? So much more. I wish the media had as much concerned about the 45,000 people who were slaughtered in Iran as they do about Iran's ships of oil. Like, they're very concerned about... The treatment of these ships or what we're doing here. They always want to make us seem like the bad guy. And no one said boo about this regime slaughtering 45,000 of their own people. But if you touch one of their ships, if you respond or retaliate to them breaking this blockade and therefore violating the ceasefire, then all of a sudden we got to talk about norms and precedent and how we behave. But that was one thing, but they keep mentioning Vahidi because he's a hardliner. I would describe a lot of these people in this regime as a hardliner. I don't know how much of a hardliner you have to be to distinguish yourself amongst the other hardliners, but he's pretty extreme. And they keep mentioning him, Taylor. And the theme or the trend that I've been noticing since this conflict started six weeks ago is that... If we start hearing your name, if you become kind of the face of the IRGC, it's pretty short-lived. you soon may be sleeping with the fishes. That's all I'm trying to say here. The leaders of this party, whether it be the Ayatollah or the Ayatollah Jr., who's supposedly in some sort of coma and he's disfigured and we haven't heard from him, he's like Flat Stanley. I don't know if he's making statements still, but it hasn't worked out well. In fact, they had one meeting where they were going to pick the new head of the party or the new head of the regime, and we dropped a bomb on that.

Or I can't remember if it was us or Israel, but eliminated all those guys too. So I kept seeing this and thinking, who in their right mind would want to come out and say, I'm the leader of this party knowing that you've got a target on your back? Well, it turns out it's Fahidi. So good luck to Vahiti because he's really made a name for himself over the last 48 hours. I don't think that's necessarily a good thing for him, but that's what he's done. Now, Fortune had a quote today, or maybe it was over the weekend that I thought was interesting. It was from the Institute of the Study of War, and it said the factional infighting in the regime has been made worse by the death of former Supreme Leader Kalamani, who used to cohere the regime's various factions in order and... because of that and act as an arbiter between the factions. The absence of a strong leader to keep IRGC factions in line means that these factions will likely continue to play a dominant role in shaping Iranian decision making. And when we get a more moderate member of the IRGC to agree to something, it doesn't really matter or doesn't really mean anything's going to hold because there's these hardliners who are not either communicating or they're not agreeing. to what the more moderate members of the regime are agreeing to. Now, Trey Yings said this. He had a conversation with Trump over the weekend. Let's play cut three, please, Taylor. I just spoke with President Trump for about 20 minutes, and he told me if Iran does not sign this deal, the whole country is getting blown up. He went on to say that bridges and power plants will be targeted if Iran does not sign this agreement. The president telling me that U.S. special envoys Jared Kushner... and Steve Witkoff are heading to Islamabad Pakistan for meetings on Tuesday, possibly into Wednesday, to try and get this agreement across the finish line. The president telling Fox News this is a very simple deal, but this is the last chance for the Iranians. The president, very clear in our conversation, that he is not making the same mistake that President Obama made, giving cash to the Iranians and allowing them to continue a nuclear program. The deal on the table is... to reopen the Strait of Hormuz to ensure that the Iranians do not have this highly enriched uranium that is buried deep underground after Operation Midnight Hammer last summer. Yeah, and I just want to point out that we keep hearing. And one of the people who said it last week was Kamala Harris. Her team filmed her in front of a gas station in California. And she said, ever since Donald Trump's war of choice, the price of gas has skyrocketed. Oh, yeah. I could do Kamala Harris all show today because of this nasly issue I'm having. I'm very stuffed up. But I heard that and I thought war of choice. And she's not the first person to say that. But I was thinking to myself, Taylor, like, what is the choice here? The choice is depending on who you believe.

We let Iran have a nuclear weapon, depending on how much uranium or enrich uranium you think they have access to multiple nuclear weapons. And so our choice is we let Iran kill everyone at some point, destroy us all with a nuclear weapon, or we do nothing. And we do what Obama has done in the past, which is just unfreeze. I know he didn't give them the money. He just unfroze the money so they could have it. Big difference. It feels like we're parsing out words here. But. That's the choice is like do something about this evil threat or do what every other president has done, which is a whole lot of nothing. And I thought that it was very interesting that CBS aired Matthew Bunn, who's a former White House nuclear advisor, adding some more information to this because on one hand, you have a lot of Democrats telling us. that there's not a threat, that they don't have this uranium, that if they do have it, and remember, this was like the Aaron Burnett. Like before Trump does Midnight Hammer, it's, oh my gosh, Iran is so close to developing a nuclear weapon. Operation Midnight Hammer happens. It's a huge success. And she goes, well, they didn't really have any anyway. There was really nothing that they weren't close to having a nuclear weapon. And then another three days passes. And she goes, well, I'm getting sources that are saying they're closer than ever to developing a nuclear weapon. Wait, but you just said that they didn't have anything to develop one. Which one is it? And we're seeing this right now as well. People want to keep talking about was Iran an imminent threat? Was Iran really an imminent threat? No, they were years away from developing anything. They don't even have anything to develop nuclear weapons with. Well, take a listen to Matthew Bunn. This is cut two on CBS. There's no doubt that the combination of the strikes in June of last year and the ongoing war have seriously set back Iran's capabilities. But the remaining capabilities are substantial. You can't bomb away their knowledge. UN inspectors believe Iran has close to 1,000 pounds of uranium enriched to 60%, nearly ready to be used in a nuclear weapon. 970 pounds of 60% highly enriched uranium. What can you do with that? So that is enough material for if you enrich it just a little bit more for 10 to 11 nuclear bomb. So that's our choice. Do we want Iran to have 10 to 11 nuclear bombs or do we want to do something about it? By the way, why did these UN inspectors, which that was part of the Iran deal, that UN inspectors would go into Iran and inspect and see what they had, what their capabilities were? Why are they allowed to get that close? I had that question over the weekend. I'm like, what? It'd be interesting. to understand like what we're actually looking at. Like a lot of this stuff, it's underground. They're saying they don't even know that that's the hardest part of a lot of this, of this dust, as they call it, is like, they don't even know where a lot of it is. But how is it kept, is it kept in a way like where it's ready to go? I just don't, I don't know. I have a lot of questions about it. But the other part of it that makes me kind of laugh is like Ro Khanna and all these people saying that.

If it weren't for Trump coming in and messing up Obama's perfect Iran deal, then they would never be close to developing a nuclear weapon because they were listening to Obama. They took the pallets of billions of dollars of cash and they said, we pinky promise. We're not up to anything. Well, how is that, then how do they have so much of it right now? If the Iran deal was working out just as we had planned and Obama was able to get rid of all this uranium, why are we looking at 10 to 11 nuclear bombs? Make that one make sense. But I got to play you David Brooks because again, it goes back to this war of choice. What's the choice here? What was our choice? This is David Brooks explaining. Because now he's the arbiter of what's a just war and what's not. This is cut for. But I do think what you see here is the contrast between the way Trump has gone into this war, which is cavalier in the extreme, and Catholic just war theory, which trace back to Augustine Aquinas, which is intellectually rigorous. And to be a just war, you have to clear a series of hurdles that... that make sure you're doing the thing right, and you've thought about this carefully. And in some ways, I do think they've cleared some of the hurdles. There has to be just cause. It has to be morally righteous. I think that's arguable. But some of the other hurdles, it is clearly not caused. Is there right intention? Donald Trump has not explained what our goals and intentions are, so there's no right intention. Is it last resort? Have we given diplomacy every rule? Well, obviously not. Is there a probability of success? Well, there was no clear probability of success because it wasn't... carefully calculated. Who's putting up this equation of the probability of success? Is it you? I don't think your predictions have had a great probability of success. I don't think you've had a great probability of success. I think you've had a lot of things David Brooks that haven't aged well. So who's putting together whether the probabilities here? Who's putting together these equations on the board? Is it you? Because that one doesn't track for me. And also, this whole idea of Trump hasn't laid out what we're doing or, you know, he hasn't explained. He couldn't say anything that these people would consider an explanation or a just cause. There's nothing he could say. There's nothing Marco Rubio could explain to David Brooks that he's short of. Donald Trump, shape shifting into Barack Obama and wearing a perfectly creased pair of pants, there's nothing that he could do to win over David Brooks. He saves his worshipping and his agreement and his love for creased pants from Barack Obama. There's nothing else that's going to matter here. But they want to cover it or cloak it in, you know, there's just these certain things that need to be, you know, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. And that's why we need to know the probability of success. You notice none of these people said that about Russia and Ukraine, by the way. Like, that was just sent as many checks as you want. Keep it going. Keep it going. We can't back down. Keep it going. Keep funding it. And if you ever said, like, hey, what's the game plan here?

you were anti-democracy. But now you have Marco Rubio, you have JD Vance, who I don't even think, I think JD Vance has probably been behind the scenes the most skeptical of what's happening. And he's still going out there and laying out what we're trying to do. And you have Donald Trump. And he's, David Brooks is telling me that none of these explanations meet his standard. How about Joe Biden's explanations for anything? And that was good enough. That was, that was just, the righteous. Everything was fine. It's just like, these people don't even. They've, all that they've done over the last couple of. over the last year and a half is proved that that's exactly what they wanted. The open borders. It wasn't a mistake. It was by design. So, yeah, no. 96% say no. I want to play a cut here from Ayanna Presley. And we'll talk about it now, but we'll also talk about it in a little bit. She was, she made a pretty bold. claim. And can I have cut seven, please, Taylor? So for some people, they were moved by the fact that we have a caregiving crisis. Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. of Health and Human Services had stated that. And one in five health care workers are Haitian. One in four of our long-term health care workers are Haitian. That was a point that was deeply resonant for a lot of people. Now, Mass Daily News has this quote and says the real number. per the pro-immigration American Immigration Council is 0.6%. So not 20%, not 10%, not even 1%. Again, why do you have to lie? If you find yourself having to lie, Taylor, and in such an aggressive overt manner, where you're lying about numbers, like you're lying about things people can fact check, but you don't care. then your argument or whatever you're trying to push just doesn't have the legs to stand on because you feel it's necessary to throw out all these lies. And this temporary protected status has come under fire because a lot of Republicans now, I think there was like 10 of them, were on board with this. But Trump did say 10 Republicans crossed over to extend Haiti's TPS until January 2029. But here's the other part of this is that Trump said that he would veto it. And so this is why she made this comment, but it's just it's egregiously incorrect. She says that one in five health care workers are Haitian. The number is 0.6%. That's a big difference. And I'm waiting for the day that they start banging on doors and taking our trans and our gay friends and family to concentration camps. And they can't get our trans friends and family, can't get a passport to safely flee this country. And I know that... There's nothing you can do about that. Oh my gosh, there's nothing that there's nothing that drives me more crazy and not even from a place of anger, from like a place of sadness for people who come up with things in their mind and then ruin their lives or twist themselves into knots over stuff that is not actually happening. Like life Taylor is going to hit you with enough stuff that's actually happening. That's a lesson that you'll learn pretty quickly is that there's plenty of concrete. And I've done this before. I used to do this all the time I called my mom about something. I'm scared that in a couple of months if I do this and this might happen. And my mom would say to me, we will cross that bridge. But we're not crossing it right now. And you're wasting time. And it's that quote. It's, it's Seneca. It's like a man who suffers before it is necessary suffers more than is necessary. If you're worrying about things. that aren't even happening, and I got news for this lady, they're not going to happen. Then you are missing life. Keep another quote, Benjamin Netanyahu Franklin, keep in the sunlight. That's Benjamin Netanyahu Franklin's way, Taylor, saying, touch, grass, granny. You're worried about things. Imaginary threats. And it's giving you anxiety. And it's making you sad and miserable and lonely. And that's the purpose of it. That's why this whole thing is created, is to scare you. It reminds me of, with Paul Ryan, when they were coming up, was it Mitt Romney, they were coming up with all those commercials about throwing the grannies over the mountain in the wheelchairs. Like, oh, they're going to get rid of your grannies. They're your Medicaid and your Medicare and all this stuff. And there was a granny rolling down the hill in a wheelchair. And you watched that stuff at the time, and you thought, who's? Who's vulnerable enough and who's ignorant enough and who's not paying attention enough that they're going to buy that kind of fearmongering? That is something I have really started to understand is there's a lot of people out there who are susceptible to this fearmongering. and susceptible to thinking like, oh, everything's uniquely bad right now and everyone's in danger because of Donald Trump. And this is a real, this is an imminent threat. Like, here's what they don't think is an imminent. They don't think Iran that has the capabilities, according to CBS, to create 10 to 11 nuclear weapons and wants death to America. That's not an imminent threat to us. That's a war of choice. But people have now made up that Trump or his administration is going to start rounding up gay people. And that to them feels like a very real threat. It's almost as if their picker is off. Their antennas have been crossed or something of that nature. Okay. So I want to talk a little bit about the missing scientists. But before I do that, Obama and Zohran Mamdani got together.

And they were actually singing for a group of pre-K children. And let's hear a little bit of this. This is cut nine. Open and shut. Doors on the bus go open and shut. Doors on the bus go open and shut. You know I always notice about that song because my daughter sings it now. Do you notice anything about it, Taylor? I'm sure you've had to hear it. You have three children. Do I notice anything about it? Uh, no. It's something like the mama on the bus says, sh, sh, sh, yeah, that's what the mom says. The dada on the bus says, I love you. I love you. So the mom's over here. I'm painted as the one going, shh, shh, sh. And Mr. Dad is like, the dad on the bus is cooler than the mom. He's so fun. The mom's annoying. That's how I interpret the song. But yeah, they're together. And whenever I hear Zohran Mamdani talking about buses, it just brings me back to like, where are these buses? Because the driver on the bus says, don't worry about it. The bus is free, right? Isn't that part of his NYC plan? Around and round. Yeah, her thing was the bus is electric. But his thing is, this electric bus is going to be free. And I saw this comedian, Taylor, and it was so funny. He was like, you know, he said, Zohran Mamdani wants to make the bus is free. And the group in front of him, I think he was in the comedy seller in New York, and they all start clapping. And he's like, do you guys take the bus? And then stopped. And he goes, yeah, I didn't think so. He goes, we don't need to lower the barrier for entry of these buses. I take the bus. We already have. crazy people on the bus. You don't need to make it free and then have everybody on there. But the free bus thing, that kind of went out the window. I know they're working on the free grocery store. They're like building one for $30 million. That's going to be a city run grocery store. And I'm sure that there's going to be no problems there. But if we're going to start doing the wheels on the bus, I think these pre-K kids are probably sitting there going, let's talk about these buses. Are they free? Because that was part of your campaign promise. He's been in there for like 100 days. And a lot of these promises that this socialist, dreamy, you know, Democrat star came up with have fallen to the wayside. And I'm just curious what happened to the free buses in New York City? Is it possible that it's not going to come to fruition? Just curious. One other thing here, Eric Holder was asked today. about this big, big vote coming up tomorrow in Virginia where they're going to have to decide, do we want to gerrymander the absolute crap out of this state so that we have 10 to 1 Democrat to Republican representation? Now, they still don't beat Massachusetts where we have zero Republican representation, but we're also a deep blue state. And Virginia is not. Right now, I think they're, right now the number is six Democrats, five Republicans. So how, how you explain that to people that we're going from six and five to ten and one?

I don't think you can't explain it. And Eric Holder, former wingman of the Wheels on the Bus guy, Barack Obama, he tried his best to explain why it's different. And a lot of times when Democrats are trying to explain to you, or they're trying to excuse away their hypocrisy. All they really can come up with is it's different because we're Democrats and they're Republicans. And so therefore, what we're doing is right and just. And what they're doing is evil in a threat to democracy. Take a listen to Eric Holder. This is cut five. Historically, the President's Party doesn't usually do well in the midterm races. So why did Democrats need to do this? I mean, it sounds like it's acknowledging that the Democratic Party can't win on its own, that it has to go through these measures. The Democrats can certainly win if it's a fair fight. And the question I have... It wasn't going to be a fair fight in Virginia? No, it wasn't going to be a fair fight nationally if you try to... steal seats in Texas, in North Carolina, and in Missouri. And so the question I have for people who are critical of that, which we're doing, is that what were we supposed to do? Nothing? Just allow them to try to stack the deck, to try to steal seats. And all we're trying to do is meet them and try to make the system as fair as it possibly can be. And that's all that this is about. But it seems like you're trying to stack the deck. Ten to one. And you're accusing... Republicans of trying to stack the deck? I don't really make this one make sense. I guess maybe he means in other states, like in Texas, but they want to talk gerrymandering. And whenever they're doing it, it's not gerrymandering. When the Democrats are doing it, it's redistricting. It's making this fight fair. When we're doing it, it's gerrymandering. If you look at this map in Virginia with a straight face, You cannot try to claim that it's like, oh, this protective measure to make sure we have a fair fight. That is such a crock of, you know what. I don't know how this is going to pan out. I'm actually pretty nervous about it. I don't think Republicans have been nearly as vocal. I haven't seen a lot. from Republicans into the last couple days. I think it's a little late to try to get on this. But I'm hopeful that there's enough people in the state of Virginia, which is a purple state, and they do have some sane people, depending on what county you're from, to look at this and say, I don't want this to be so lopsided. I'm sure that even if it does pass, it'll swing back in a few years or there'll be some action against it. Well, they're saying the Virginia Supreme Court might not even. It might get smacked down from them, which is, I mean, that would be.

an okay backup plan, but I would prefer if it didn't even get off the ground. But this is the Democrats backup plan. If you remember a few years ago, Elon Musk was on with Joe Rogan, and he laid out how the Democrats were trying to basically rig elections from here on out. And that was the mass importation of legal immigrants into states like California, Virginia, Massachusetts, and giving them citizenship after a while and then establishing them as Democrat voters. Now with Trump, who's closed the borders and there's actually a net negative of importations. There's more deportations than border crossings. They had to pivot to instead of a soft gerrymandering, just the hard gerrymandering. Yeah, they had to go full J.B. Pritzker. They had to go full Illinois and just, you know, okay, this is all we can do now. Yeah, I don't know how it's going to pan out tomorrow, but I think it's laughable that they're doing, they're pretending that they're doing this for, you know, these like intellectual or these ideological reasons. And it's different when we do it. It's not different when you do it. You just think it's okay. And when we do it, it's like, oh. And what we saw in Texas wasn't even anything close to this, by the way. If you actually look at what happened in Texas that they were all melting down about, not even close. Speaking of Joe Rogan, though, you just brought up Joe Rogan. Did you see over the weekend? I saw he was in the Oval Office. He was in the big announcement with Robert F. Kennedy Jr.. and some other Marty Makary was there, Dr. Marty Makary, who we've had in the show before, talking about psychedelic drugs and how Trump had this big order. And they're going to start allowing a lot more research and a lot more use of these psychedelic drugs to hopefully help veterans who are suicidal. I'll be real with you guys. You're not going to hear this from a lot of podcasters or a lot of radio hosts. Don't know enough about it. Don't know enough about it. I'm not an expert in psychedelic drugs by any means, but we can take a listen to this. I want to tell everybody how this happened. I sent President Trump some information. We have a gigantic opiate problem in this country, obviously. In 2024, more than 80,000 people died of overdoses. It's a horrible number. And there's more than 5 million people that are addicted to opiates right now in this country. With one dose of Ibogaine, more than 80% of people are free of that addiction. With two doses, it's more than 90%. I sent him that information. The text message came back, sounds great. Do you want FDA approval? Let's do it. It was literally that quick. These drugs are illegal not because they're harmful. They're illegal because of the 1970 Controlled Substances Act that was passed by the Richard Nixon administration. They did it to target the civil rights movement and the anti-war movement. It's not because these drugs harm people. For 56 years, we've lived under those terrible conditions. We're free of that now. We're free of that now. Thanks to all these people that we see next to me, and thanks to President Trump.

Yeah, so Trump has ordered the FDA to fast track reviews of psychedelic drugs after, you know, talking to Joe Rogan, talking to people with experiences with that drug. And I listen to Dr. Marty Makary over the weekend and I'll be real. I had more interest in what he had to say than Joe Rogan. And that's not a dig at Joe Rogan, but Dr. Martin McCarrie really knows what he's talking about with these things. Oh, Joe Rogan! Joe Rogan. And he seemed very excited about it. I know there's pushback. The weird thing is, though, this is one of these situations, Taylor, much like the crunchy moms who now don't like Trump and don't like Maha. There's a lot of people who would like this 99% of the time and would be excited about this. I'm not one of those people, by the way. I have really no opinion on it per se. Yet, I'm sure I'll form one. If it becomes part of the news cycle, I'll try to do my research here. But my point is a lot of people who otherwise would have been on board with this and thought it was great and thought this was like a turning point. for the psychedelic industry or for veterans or for. Oh, we're going to take advice from the guy that was taking horse dewormer medicine. They don't like it. Almost died. I went on some message boards because I was like, I wonder how those people feel about it. Because a lot of liberals would have at one point thought this was a good thing. And they were, some of them were saying like, well, even a broken clock. And that's how you know that they like it, but they don't want to like it. Or, you know, he did this, but it wasn't enough. He should have, he should have done more research into this drug. So people were kind of grasping at Strauss. It was an interesting thing to watch. One other thing I want to point out, maybe we'll talk about this a little bit in the next segment. Elizabeth Warren was on the campaign trail this weekend. Did you see this, Taylor? Mainwire put out a video of... Graham Platner. Yeah, a lot. A lot of blue herds were at these events celebrating, or this dynamic duo of Graham Platner and Elizabeth Warren. Now, what's interesting here is... I was never a Nazi. I was much too... He didn't understand what the tattoo meant. The interesting thing here is these two have a lot in common. Like, these two are trying to outrun... They're passed. They're trying to outrun scandal. And Elizabeth Warren has done it pretty successfully. Like, I know Trump brings up Pocahontas. I know how he brings up Pocahontas. But other than that, she's managed to kind of move past this giant lie and this giant scam that she pulled on the American people. And now she must look at Graham Platner and been like, I've been there. I get it, bro. You're trying to convince people that the person you were or the person you protected. intended to be is not the person you are. Take it from me. Grab me a beer. This is the Grace Curley Show. And Graham Platner, when asked, when did you first realize that the system is rigged without hesitation, said, when none of the bankers went to jail? And I said to myself, that's my kind of man. Oof. Thank you, Granny Warren. Yeah, she's backing Graham Platner. I think Janet Mills is backed by Chuck Schumer and other Democrats, but they're both vying for the opportunity to unseat Susan Collins, the Republican senator from Maine. So we will keep watching this. But he has a lot of skeletons in his closet. It doesn't seem to be slowing him down, though. I will say that. Now, Ilhan Omar is claiming that she isn't a multimillionaire and blaming an accounting error for these claims. I am so fascinated by these politicians because all of the people who hate these billionaires who have made their money in the private sector or by, you know, creating industries, creating businesses, employing people, they hate that. They hate it. They think shame on those people. You're evil. And then they make all this money enriching themselves through shady business deals or, you know, insider trading or whatever it is, you know, the way they do these things. They become rich while working for us while working for the people. And all they have, all they can do is deny it and be like, oh, no, no, no, no. I'm not making money. I'm not making money because making money in the eyes of these Democrats is a bad thing. You know, becoming a millionaire, as Bernie Sanders had to figure out the hard way, is a bad thing. So you just deny it. You say there's accounting errors. We all know what's happening here. No one's buying that. I wanted to also mention there was a horrific story out of Louisiana where a man shot and killed. seven of his kids and their cousins, so eight children. And it was, it was just awful. He's a deranged army vet dad is how the New York Post described him. And Gavin Newsom, the governor of California. went on his social media and said eight children murdered ages 1 to 14. This is a moral failure. It's preventable. How many more kids have to be killed before the NRA stops paying off politicians? So he's blaming this on guns. He's blaming this on a lack of gun control. And it should be noted that Elkins had two previous convictions, including...

Driving while intoxicated. And in March 2019, a police report detailed that the National Guard vet had pulled a 9mm handgun from his waistband and shot at a vehicle five times. In other words, he was a convicted felon, and he got this gun through illegal means. So it has nothing to do, as plenty of people pointed out to the governor, has nothing to restrict your gun laws.
