94 segmentsNow on a much different subject. Today is what you might call a very unofficial American holiday, 420. We can go to the park, cat the dog, smoke that gumble weed. Very complicated subject, you know, the subject of marijuana. I've heard great things having to do with medical, and I've had bad things having to do with just about everything else. the weed. I just spoke with President Trump for about 20 minutes, and he told me if Iran does not sign this deal, the whole country is getting blown up. Live from the Berna less lethal pistol studio. I'm going to bomb the shit out of them. It's true. I don't care. It's Howie Carr. Lots of viewers on Rumble here. I'm checking this out. Somebody says where the bleep is Howie. Howie will be back. He's taking a slide. This is a big holiday in the Commonwealth, you know. I look like a fat chud. I need to, uh, might go over to kick in, Jared. I'm not this fat. I am not this fat. Be nice in the comments, please. It is now time for the Chumpline. The Chumline is the recording message service of the Howie Car Show.
The wheels on the bus won't go around, go around, go around, go around. The wheels on the bus don't go around. Zohran Mamdani has no funding. That is absolutely true. His free buses, that was like the pinnacle. That was the number one, you know, dazzling element of his campaign was free buses for everybody. And once you make the buses free, nobody's going to steal the subway and jump the subway turnstiles anymore. And we're going to bring everybody together. Everybody's coming together here. And it's only going to be three years before his free grocery store. opens. Other than that, the socialist experiments is unrolling, unfolding in New York, just like you thought it would. Don, I mean, Tom, it's Howie. Hell! I'm here at Hampshire College celebrating the last ever 420, and I took the puff of someone's muggle, and I'm starting to feel really weird. This reaper is a lot stronger than it was back in the day. I haven't had the munchies this bad since before I got the sleeve procedure. Hey, whippersnapper, you got any tapioca? Is that true? Is Howie at Hampshire College? That is breaking, breaking news, if that is true. But I do believe that the weed is a lot, a lot more powerful than it was in the 1970s. I think that is the consensus out there. But, I mean, good luck, Howie. Look out. Look out. Today's chump line is brought to you by Manzi Appraisers and Restoration in Woburn. Whether you need a professional appraisal for insurance, estate planning, or just curiosity's sake, the Manzi team does it right with integrity. I'm not sure what that's about. Rubber bullet for a beagle. TDS. I'm not sure at all what that's about. Tell me in the text line exactly what that is, or even in the chat here. I'd like to know what that means. I don't know. I don't know. Sorry about that. Governor Healy says she's sick of the burning and destruction of Iran. But, Maura, isn't that how things grow? That's right. That's right. You know what I wanted to ask everybody that I didn't ask? You know, I was saying that my sister-in-law is moving here and she wants to know what town to live in. I also want to know if your town is one of those towns, like my town is, that Maura Healey is requiring to put an MBTA bus route. So now... Once they run the bus route through, then you're required to have more public housing put in the town. I live in a town with literally less than 4,000 people in it and like 11 horses and six foxes. That's all that's in my town. And we're going to put like ugly public housing in the middle of the time. And by the way,
Nobody needs this bus that's in my town. Everybody in my town has a car. That's the deal. You move out to the boonies, you drive a car, but it's just part of the same scam. They just want to ugly fight. They want to make every town in the Commonwealth look like Brockton, no offense. If you're moving to Massachusetts from another state, the best town to live in is called There Isn't One. Yep. That is correct. It's just not a great state. Unfortunately, it's a beautiful state in many parts, but it's just not what it used to be. Even Boston itself, it just feels different. And I don't need all of these. We don't do anything well anymore. That architecture that went and destroyed Scully Square, that came with the last Marxist movement in Boston, the brutalist movement. Scully Square is beautiful. City Hall Plaza looks disgusting. The city of Boston has been brutalized, both aesthetically and culturally. And all these small towns, the same thing in all of our schools as well. So yes, I'll tell my sister-in-law. I suggest you move to another state. The closest free state is New Hampshire. And then from there, possibly North Carolina. Kamala Harris wants to run for president again in 2028. And just like the Phoenix, the cackle will rise again. The thing about Kamala Harris is she never tries to get better. She never did. Oof. Oh, remember Fweedom? Freedom! Freedom! When she would tell a... Fleedom! Oh, that's tough stuff. Tough stuff. She would tell that story about being at civil rights rallies and this. All she had to do is go to the border. Go to the border and you come up with a plan, but they were the open border administration. They wanted us to be filled with illegal immigrants. Terrorist murders, thieves. They're eating the cats, eating the dogs. And yeah, she's as strong as Gavin Newsom. She's as strong as Gavin Newsom. She's got a better name recognition than Gavin Newsom. So Kamala Harris could easily be... the candidate. And I don't expect she'd win in a general election versus a human being, especially if it's JD Vance or Marco Rubio. But that's who the Democrats want. These people have gone crazy. Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is driving the moonbat's insane. He was one of them and he has that last name. Now they all say he's lost his way, which coming from this wayward bunch is really lame. Yeah. The guy with the whale corpse in Central Park is not the craziest Democrat. In fact, if you listen to Robert F. Kennedy Jr. when he's at a hearing, he's very cogent. He knows his stuff. You can think he's a quack or not a doctor. The establishment has discredited themselves. I'll take Robert F. Kennedy Jr. every single day of the week. I'll take that over the stuff you put us through.
Robert F. Kennedy Jr. did not kick my kids out of school for months at a time and force us to be socially distanced and then bail out to teachers unions. That wasn't him. That was the establishment before him. Way to go, Mara. Keep them stone so they don't know what you're doing. How bad does Boston smell like weed? I can imagine today, too, with people like standing around, just hitting the vape pens or whatever they do now to smoke weed. My kids literally think that there's a skunk infestation in the state. Like, I smell a skunk again. I smell a skunk again. It's like, okay, I wish I were a skunk. But no, there's weed everywhere. The weed experiment, what's going to happen is... Weed is going to go the way of cigarettes because now there's somebody to sue when we find out how bad it is for you. And then the states are going to want a piece of that, just like with cigarettes. And then the state essentially is going to be the world's biggest beneficiary of whatever ailment that weed causes that the lawyers are working on right now. Tom Shattuck from the mainwire in for a Howie car today. No, God, please no. No! No! No, no, no, no. You think I'm going to hurt! How dare you? Can we stop making it horrible for the older people and the kids? Lost, lost big time. Stop it. He sucks. It's not as bad as the Hindenburg. There is no way. Now, I believe me, I have been listening to Howie Carson since the 1980s. I know the feeling when I hear a voice and it's not his. And sometimes it's just straight disappointment. Sometimes it's horror, depending on who it was through the years. But I think that is way overstating. Obviously, woe betide you. That is one of my enemies probably from Maine or some miscreant from Connecticut. And how dare you? I, Tom Shattuck, and I've coined this term, did not come here to be made sportive.
Ask Chumpline message. Thank you for calling Howie Carr. You chump. Today's Chumpline is brought to you by Manzi Appraisers and Restoration in Woburn. Whether you need a professional appraisal for insurance, estate planning, or just curiosity's sake, the Manzi team does it right with integrity. Call them today at 6199-995-022 or visit their site at mansyappraisers.com. Don! I mean, Tom, it's Howie. Help! I'm here at Hampshire College celebrating their last ever 420, and I took a puff of someone's muggle, and I'm starting to feel really weird. This reefer is a lot stronger than it was back in the day. I haven't had the munchies this bad since before I got the sleep procedure. Hey, whippersapper. You got any tapioca? That is thankfully not where how he is. I have had moles reach out to us and tell us that he is not at Hampshire College. Thankfully, do they call it muggles? Does that what they call? The young people call pot muggles? I don't know. Even if I wasn't a pot, I can't, I'm sure I can't afford it. Although we've got dispensaries every 11 feet up where I live. 425 says, why does Tom feel the need to tell us that he is from a town that literally has less than 4,000? Couldn't he merely say that he comes from a town with fewer than 4,000 people? Yes, I could have done that. I am a product of the Winchester public school system, supposedly good schools, so I blame them for that completely. Tom, I live in Carver. This is 617. It's fairly rural and conservative. Once again, I don't know a whole bunch about Carver, Massachusetts. 781 says, let's see, you may recall Winchester put in a vote for... Public housing next to the town common where the Dagestinos deli is. That must have been after I left, but that would be horrific. Next to Daggs, kid. Come on. Yeah, no, that would be terrible. That's right downtown Winchester where the common is right in front of their first congregational church. Tom Shattuck's old church, which is not pretty much, I think, a gay church or a rainbow flag church. Yeah, they need to, the left wants to make all this stuff ugly. the MLK statue in Boston and the Common. It's horrific. He's a fine-looking guy, and his wife was very attractive. Just make statues of them that look like them. But it's not. Shaddick, this is 339. Shattuck, how are you with the marathon? How he hated it. I generally was not a huge fan of the marathon. I worked in hotels in the 90s, so all the people would always let you know. So we're here for three days. I'm running in the marathon. And so they paused then so I could say, oh, congratulations. Oh. And then they'd walk around on the baked potato thing blankets afterwards and limp around so you'd notice. And so I don't mean to hate. But, yeah, I was, I had very little tolerance for it. Until the one time this group of lawyers came in from out of town and they paid us as private concierge contractors.
to be on-site conciergers at the Heinz Convention Center for them for 50 bucks an hour. And I thought that is good. That's the kind of marathon thing I can get behind. All right. Coming up, we're going to, well, I have one more piece of audio that we've got to get to that is just astounding, just shows you how sick these people are. And then John Featherstone will join us with the latest from Maine 844-542. My name is Tom Shattuck. This is the Howie Car Show. Howie Car will return. Howie Car is back. 844542, 844542, 844542. That is the number. My name is Tom Shattuck. I work with the main wire. I'm here till 6 p.m. tonight. I want to play. There's a cut number six. This is Graham Platner. This is from over the weekend. And this is all the guy ever said. He has nothing to say but old, tired, haggard tenants of socialism. Because at the end of the day... It doesn't matter who you voted for if the hospital closes, the hospital closed. It doesn't matter how you identify as an independent or a Republican or a Democrat. If your community is dying because young people can't afford a home anymore and they're leaving. It doesn't matter. We have a whole political apparatus and a media apparatus that wants us all pointing fingers at each other left and right because that keeps us from pointing fingers in the only direction that matters, and that is up. We need to be willing to extend compassion to people we've been arguing with for years now. We need to be willing to understand that we're all being exploited by the exact same people. And it's not immigrants. And it's not trans kids. It's billionaires. Yeah, the people... Running the country, the people that power the economies, the innovators, the captains of industry, they're the problem. It's not that your socialist fantasy has been spread around in Maine, where the state is the biggest employer, and it is throughout and throughout scam-ridden. And you're talking about health care and the lack of being able to get real resources. Well, you're giving it away to people who don't deserve it. And you're all for that, Graham Platner. And don't tell me that one of the problems is not, you know, the trans kid hobbying that you're doing. Because what you're trying to do there is destroy the bodies of children. You people and you're wearing the sheep's clothing as if you're some happy warrior.
for the little people. It's such BS. Today's poll question is brought to you by the burner-lesley-thel pistol launcher for those who want a powerful self-defense option without resorting to deadly force. Visit burner.com slash howie to save 10%. Burnah, that's b-r-n-a.com slash howie. Jared, what is the poll question and what are the results thus far? Today's poll question, which you can vote in at howie carshow.com is, are we winning the Iran War? Yes or no. Yes, we are. 87% of the audience agrees, yes, we are winning. Absolutely. We just need to finish the job. Foment the little revolution there, and it will be completely bueno. Jared, do we have time for a phone call, or should I wait? We have time. Okay, let's go 844-542. Let's go to Rudy. Rudy, what's going on? Hey, what's up? Long time, no talk. Yeah, I hope things have been well. They are. Rudy's in Free Florida, by the way. This is a guy who escaped Connecticut and lives in a free state now. And I miss this day because I used to take my son every year to Patriots Day Red Sox game. So it's a special day for me as a father. And we go back, I guess, to the 90s if we count you bartending at the hotel. But. We talked about Chris Murphy all the time, right? Yeah. He would go over to Ukraine. He'd go to Iran. He recently went to Spain. In Barcelona, badmouthing the country. Right. Isn't it a time to remove him from Congress? Because, I mean, look what happened in Iran. And he was, like, protecting them, right? Oh, yeah. He's a huge booster for the mullahs in Iran. He was huge for the coup in the Ukraine. This guy has been an international troublemaker for a long time. He's also an airhead. He's anti-American. Chris Murphy, he might be the worst. As a matter of fact, that's a good question for future hour, Rudy. I can't think of who's worse in the Senate than Chris Murphy? Is there anybody as vile as he is? Maybe Adam Schiff, I guess Schiff, although he's newer to the Senate? Rudy, thank you, my friend. I appreciate the call. Yeah, my goodness. Coming up, more fraud. It's coming out of the woodwork in Maine. John Featherstone of the Main Wire joins us. Stay with us.
Live from the Burnah Less Lethal Pistol Pistol Studio, it's Howie Carr. 8444-542. That is the number. My name is Tom Shattuck. I'm here till 6 p.m. Howie's back tomorrow. He's off for Patriots Day today, for Marathon to Monday. Somebody who has a marathon day most days on the streets of Maine is my friend and colleague, John Featherston. And John, we're going to get to Graham Platner and Elizabeth Warren from over the weekend in a moment. But I noticed a video today you are out and about again and visiting another brick and mortar building. Tell us what you found. Hey, Tom. Happy Patriots Day. Thanks for having me on. Legit home health care in Portland, Maine is not so legit. I've probably been there maybe a half a dozen, maybe 10 times. We actually did, I did an hour of Mainwire TV outside of waiting for this man who has a note on the door saying that he's just out for a cup of coffee. He'll be right back. Of course. Billion Maine taxpayer, millions of dollars in fraudulent Maine care. But I saw a video, our great video producer at the Mainwire. Rand Paul produced a video, and I was like, wait a minute, this can't be true. That Democrat gubernatorial candidate, Troy Jackson? is opening up an office building in the same building as one of the biggest fraudulent main care billers in the state. And this is the same man who, last week, the main legislature installed a millionaires tax similar to what they did in Massachusetts, taxing 2%. Well, Jackson came out and said, well, 2%'s not enough. If I'm governor, I'm going to take it to 4%. Yeah. And I'm going to target the rich, and I'm going to redistribute wealth. So he's going to redistribute wealth while he has a campaign office in the same building where people are stealing main taxpayer dollars through, you know. main care billing. I mean, you can't make it up. It's amazing, John. Is he just going to walk the taxpayer money just across the hall from his new office to legit health care? Get him a wheelbarrow or something and you can just walk it right over. How many of these places do you think you've found so far now in the last year? These not legit health care offices? I think between Steve Robinson and myself, I can honestly tell you I've been to 50 home health care places. And out of the 50 that I've been to, and when I say I've been to them, I don't go just once. I go two, three, four times. Two times I found human beings actually working there.
One time this guy was playing a video game, and another time somebody was pretty contentious. And actually I went to a place today that we haven't posted that video. She actually called the police on me, and the police were like, he didn't do anything wrong. Why did you call us? Yeah, well, we've seen a lot of that in Maine, especially with some of these places that are run by Somali New Mainers. They take it very personal that you're snooping around, John, and they've made it very clear that they don't like you around. Oh, that's very obvious. Very obvious they don't want. But, you know, what I often find, Tom, is that everybody, you know, if you came to me and said, hey, listen, you know, like, for instance, even like today, I was like, hey, you know, the state said that you've overbilled and that you're required to send the money back. You know, I would go away with, hey, you know, I had a new bookkeeper. We made a mistake. Or, yes, you're right. We did overbill, but we sent the money back or do it. But instead, what we get is we get people who are very guarded. People are very defensive. People pull the race card on you. You know, innocent people don't act this way, is what I'm saying. So it's a huge problem here in Maine, as you know. John, how could it be? We're talking to John Featherston of the meanwhile. How could it be that a Democratic candidate for governor would have no idea. that this very controversial storefront, we'll say that storefront in quotes, is in the building where he's putting his office. How could that be? Or do you think that they know and just don't care? It defies logic, and I think it's more the latter, because Troy Jackson is a gubernatorial candidate, but he used to be the Senate president in Maine, too. So he, you know, he is the establishment. He is the guy who was allowed all of this fraud to overtake Maine. So common sense will tell you that... He doesn't have a problem with it because he knows it's part of his power base that, you know, if he allows this NGO fraud to continue, those NGOs will be beholden to him. And, hey, if the taxpayers have to pay for it, you know, what does he care? Yeah, another one of these guys, of course, who's running as an outsider. Amazingly, as you said, he's been a mainstay in Augusta for decades. But no, he's out there with his flannels and his vest and doxing Jonathan Bush, it looks like, and pretending he's just on the outside.
Yeah, he's pretending to be an outsider. He is definitely an establishment guy. He's been caught with some ethics violations overbilling for his transportation costs back and forth to Augusta. You know, there's two set of rules, the rules for Tom and John, and then there's the rules for Mr. Jackson. You know, and when do people in Maine just say, enough is enough of this? It's a very good question. I guess we'll see, actually, in June, and then we'll ultimately see in November. So let me ask you, you ran into an old friend this weekend, Elizabeth Warren, the senior senator from Massachusetts. Did you get any FaceTime? Well, you know, she stays on brand. You know, she's screaming again as she always does. Yep. You know, she's in Portland, Maine. endorsing a candidate who has said, cops are bad, black people don't tip, women get raped because they get too drunk, he had a Nazi tattoo for over 20 years, and her exact quote-unquote is, Graham Platner's my type of guy. Oh, okay. So he's your type of guy. But the fun part was for me, Tom, talking more about fraud, is. Warren is saying that Graham Platner is going to go to D.C. and clean up fraud. And he's the man to do it. Meanwhile, sitting behind both Lyawatha. and the guy with the Nazi tattoo, is Deca DeLoc. And hopefully people in Maine know that DeKalac is a state representative from South Portland, tied to gateway communities, which is in front of the House Congressional Oversight. She is the poster child of fraud in Maine. And Elizabeth Warren's going, this guy's going to clean up fraud. She's sitting in this VIP section. So they're all in cahoots, is what I'm saying. Yeah, and that's amazing. The deck of the lock was there. Let me play this. This is cut five. This is Elizabeth Warren talking about how Graham Platner is just the man the Washington needs. Once again, I say when we talk about health care and why we don't have universal health care in this country, it is corruption, plain and simple. It is a Washington that has signed off.
I'm here because I can't wait to wait into that fight alongside Graham Platner. Yep. Yep. John, she's been in Congress for 12 years. Why is she waiting for Graham Platner to finally wait into a fight? Elizabeth Warren, why don't you get something done on your own? I mean, it's just ridiculous. And these are scary times because she's on the stage in Maine bragging about Zohran Mamdani in New York City, bragging about how Graham Platner's going to be changed. And, you know, Graham Platner even said during this campaign event, We have to decide what type of Democrats that we're going to elect nowadays. So your grandparents and your parents' Democrat Party, they no longer exist. Now it's radical socialism. They've even declared war on their own party. Is it working in New York? And, hey, Maine voters, pay attention to see what's going on in New York City. Do you want that to come to Maine? And you want Graham Platner to do it? And more importantly, if Graham Platner goes to the Senate. Do you think the other 99 members of the most exclusive club in the world, the U.S. Senate, those other 99 members are going to embrace him? They're going to be like, hey, go sit in the corner there, you fake oyster men, and shut your mouth and learn how we do things here in Washington. And you're going to lose Susan Collins, who leads the Appropriations Committee, and has done a wonderful job for Mainers over the years. Yeah, well, you're right, and you're right. They're going to tell him to shut up, and they're going to say, you shut up, you vote with how leadership tells you to vote, and you do the stock speculation that we all do, and you're going to get very rich, and you can still go on and on about the oligarchs and the billionaires. Meanwhile, you're going to be, you know, rich as heck by the time you leave here. But, I mean, he's popular. He's, if there's a populist movement in Maine, it's around Graham Platner, that room seemed to be pretty much banged out, John. There's excitement for him, right? You know, to his credit, he probably had 1,100 people in the room, you know, as he did his, you know, his salute to the crowd as they were all leaving on Saturday night. He does pack the crowds. And I have to tell you, you know, I've been around politics a long time. He gives a hell of a speech. He really, really does. But I will tell you, there's nothing left after the speech. I don't see him being, you know, a consensus builder. I don't see him being a team leader. I don't see him being a role model. He gives a hell of a speech. And as I've said, he's an excellent actor. Excellent actor. Yeah, well, he's literally, I think people should know. He's kind of literally, his backstory is he is kind of really an actor. Yes.
I think, you know, he's the male version of Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. You know, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is an actress. She plays a role. And, you know, Bernie Sanders recruited Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. And now he went to recruit Graham Platner in Maine. And, you know, when Graham Platner's on script, he's very, very good. But when he goes on some of these podcasts and goes off a script, You know, I say it all the time. When people tell you who they are, listen, you know, because when he goes off script, he does, you know, he says the R word about special needs kids. He does say that women deserve to get raped because they drink too much. He had some choice words for Jesus, too. I forgot exactly what it was, but yeah. Yeah, no. I don't think we can say it on the radio, but it wasn't very nice. Yeah, yeah. Yeah, well, but so does it mean, main voters see him? And Democrats see him and they say that's somebody who's going to yell at Trump. Is that really, and I know we've discussed this on Myanmar TV, is that really what his whole candidacy is? I think that is his whole canistery, but find me one sitting in the United States senator who's actually yelling at Trump. I know there's a lot of people who don't like Mr. Trump, you know, the president, but nobody's yelling at. That's not how government works. You really do you like? What do you think would happen if, you know, Graham Platner went into the Oval Office and started screaming at the president, especially, you know, President Trump, what do you think would happen, you know? Secret Service would come and remove them, and that would be the end of the story. And that's not what you want from a politician. You want to be able to sit down, have a mature conversation, work out your differences that's going to benefit the most people. You know. Graham Platner's not going to stand up to Donald Trump, much like even like Janet Mills says that she stood up to Donald Trump. She never stood up to Donald Trump. You know, Donald Trump is still the president no matter what. And Graham Platner, you've got a lot to learn about politics. It's been one of the, you know, just below the surface themes of both Trump's presidencies, that if these Democrats just took a second, stopped being so theatrical in front of their voters. and wanted to work with Trump, he would work with him in a second. As a matter of fact, more than an ideologue would. Trump's not really an ideologue. You know, Trump, MAGA, is what he says it is, but they can't. They just have to just try to, you know, throw knives at him, and that's how they go day to day. That's how Democratic politics is done in 2026. 100%. If somebody really wants to work with Donald Trump, he will work with him. You know, and, you know, even when he had Zohran Mamdani into the Oval Office, he didn't have to do that. But he saw the importance, you know, he loves New York City, and he wanted to have a working relationship with somebody. And, you know, he extended the olive branch. And if Democrats don't see that, then it's shame on them, I'd say. I completely agree. That's his nature. He's a hotel guy. He's a guy. Slapy. the back kind of guy. That's who Trump is. He wants to have a rapport with you. John Featherston, great work as usual. Go to the mainwire.com. Check out of John's work. He had about 18 pieces over the weekend in there. And I will see you tomorrow, my friend. I appreciate it. Thank you, Tom. Have a good evening. You too. Take care. 844-542. Right back with a few more notes and some texts. My name is Tom Shattuck. This is The Howie Car Show.
Follow Howie on TikTok. We're looking at TikTok. At Howie Car Radio Network. The name is hot. The brand is hot. Yeah. Howie Car is back. 844-542. I want to get to a really interesting cut here. This is a woman asking Pete Buttigieg question over the weekend. This is all you need to know about the mindset of the modern-day progressive. Hi. Every day I wake up scared because a person I love is trans. And I'm waiting for the day that they start banging on doors and taking our trans and our gay friends and family to concentration camps. And they can't get our trans friends and family, can't get a passport to safely flee this country. And I know that there's nothing you can do about that. But if you could, what would it be? Well, first of all, it's horrible that you have to even think about that kind of fear for somebody you care about. And it's horrible that so many Americans live in that kind of fear for themselves and for those they love. And it shouldn't be that way and it doesn't have to be that way. Because... as divisive a wedge issue as that has been made to be for political purposes by politicians who figure that stepping on people's faces is the best way to get ahead. Because they definitely don't want to be talking about why they want to cut Medicaid or why they think taxes ought to be cut for billionaires. So they want to talk about this. But it remains the case that American, most Americans, Do not believe that somebody should be discriminated against, let alone harmed, because they are transgender or gay or anything else. That's most of us. Don't let them make you feel like that's some fringe position, right? And I worry about what's going to happen to folks.
