Oh, by the way, the government still shut down, just in case you're keeping score. And this is really affecting TSA now. And the lines are getting crazy, long, extra time is needed. They're saying not two hours before domestic flights. Three hours in bigger cities, probably even a little bit longer than that, because it's taken a long time to get these people through TSA. Mack, you're getting ready to go on a trip in April as well. You've got a big wedding. Is that it in South Florida? Yeah, so I have a Bachelorette trip coming up in almost exactly a month. And if you look at it right now, so the government's been shut down for what? Two, three weeks? Yeah. Yeah. I think we're going on two, three weeks, three weeks, I think. But yeah. Well, you're already looking at where we're at now three hour delays for domestic. And I believe it was around 300 people, agents that I've already quit. And, you know, when this happened at the end of last year, 1,100 people had quit. They're not getting paid. Can you blame them? No. I mean, I feel terrible for them. They still have to show up for work. Now they're going to get back paying all of that. But still, I mean, great. You want to call my mortgage company and the power company and tell them I'll get back to them in a few weeks or a month or so? Yeah, it's a big strain on a lot of people. And Fox business host, Cheryl Kassoni, was talking about how the airports are impacted by all this. Four hours. That is for, in particular, for those international flights, three hours for domestic. And what we're saying, according to CBS News, and they're quoting internal data from the TSA, we've already seen 300 resignations of officers. We had 1,100 quit during the first shutdown. And aviation analysts and security experts are saying that this is a threat to security because our adversaries could see a weakness when you've got TSA employees that are either not showing up for work. out rates at the double digit level right now we're looking at like a 6% on average unscheduled absence is what they call it that's the technical term so there's a lot of problems out there at the airport and it's likely going to get worse as the shutdown continues and that's up to Washington that's up to Chuck Schumer I mean, it's a mess. You know, it is a disastrous mess right now. The Transportation Secretary, Sean Duffy, was on Fox yesterday, calling out these demo rats over the shutdown. It's unacceptable. Chuck Schumer has to get off the political bandwagon and start being on the American bandwagon and funding the Department of Homeland Security. It's outrageous, actually. And everyone who stands in that line... They should all call or email Chuck Schumer's office. Say, get this done, Chuck. Enough of me having a three or four hour wait just to get on a flight with one of our great American Airlines. We are now 24, 25 days into a government shutdown with a department that is actually charged with keeping Americans safe. We also know that there is the ability to have increased threats. And the agency, whether it be Coast Guard, TSA, CSA, Secret Service, CBP, and ICE have gone unfunded. This is reckless, and it's disingenuous. Here they are telling you they want to see reforms. But I am here to tell you that they have not come to the table. Yeah, this is in the Democrats' lap, 100%.
