I got to tell you, John Fetterman, he's really turned into somebody that the Democratic Party has disdain for at this point. I know a lot of Democrats in Pennsylvania, being that's my home state, and they are now like, he turned on us. Oh, he's out. He's going to go. You know, so I wonder if John Fetterman is cooked his goose with a Democratic Party, if you will. I think he better get after it now and start calling these people out on his Democratic Party. And he is doing this because I think it's his last chance. I mean, John, do you think that this guy's going to be reelected, you know, as a Democrat? I think he'll be a great Republican. I don't want him to be a Democrat. I mean, a Republican. I kind of like having a Republican in the Democratic Party. So like what Joe Manchin was. Yeah, the guy's kind of in the middle. He's got common sense and calls, you know. things the way they are, the way he sees them. You know, as a Democrat, he gets a lot more camera time than he would as a Republican saying the same things. Right. Because it's unique. Yeah, exactly. But I don't know where his political future is, taking a position against most of the Democratic positions right now in their policies. So he did a recent interview with Reason magazine and described himself as a pro-capitalist Democrat. that doesn't flow with the socialist part of the Democratic Party. That would work great with the middle party. Because you know what they say about Pennsylvania, right? It's New York at one end, California, the other, and Alabama in the middle. Yeah. And he looks at other cities around the country that are far left, places like Seattle. Calling that an absolute socialist. mayor in that area. You know, look at the primaries all across in the Senate and for in the House and look at kinds of people that have already been elected. Like, for example, the mayor in Seattle, she's an absolute socialist, if not more. And now people, hey, I'm leaving. And she's like, bye, and just describe that kind of a thing. You know, he is really. not happy with what's going on in the Democratic Party. And I kind of applaud him in that what kind of policies are going to fly with the American people come midterms and even into the next presidential election because Americans, okay? 70% are not on board with their policies. I think he's basically an 80s Democrat, you know, basically union, pro-union, pro-small guys, pro, you know, little man fighting up against the big over, whether it's the, you know, companies or the government.
You know, and he also called out this New York City mayoral candidate, Graham Platner, calling him an avowed communist and suggesting the Democrats are embracing these friends' ideologies and out of touch with the working class Americans. You know, most of America is, you know, anti with the AOCs and the Bernie Sanders and these crazy liberal mayors and governors in these states and cities are all about. He says, we've got to reconnect as a party with normal Americans. And the far left of Democrats are going, what does that mean? Normal. What do you mean by that? You know, it's just flying in the face of these Democrats. I don't know who's going to end up being in a better position than this, John Fetterman, or the crazy lefty socialists in the party because they're not having them anymore. This is pretty much, you know. But yeah, right. I mean, maybe he'll run as an independent somewhere. And quote unquote, more normal Americans will vote him back into the Senate in Pennsylvania. Well, he's got another, what, four year? He was just elected two years ago. Same time as Trump, right? Yeah, it's a six-year term. So by the time he's actually up for a reelection, the American landscape and political landscape will be drastically different. Yeah, 100%. So, I mean, it changes every three months. Who we can hear? I mean, the midterms come up, you know. Who knows what's going to be on people's minds? Will this war be over? Will the Russia's situation be over? Will the economy bounce back? I mean, a lot of things to consider. And midterms are still, what, four months away, five months away? And Donald Trump won't be in the White House when he's running again. So it'll be very, like I said, very different. Interesting case over in South Carolina, now the Supreme Court, they're unanimously overturned Alex Murdoz murder conviction yesterday. Apparently, the court clerk there made a technical error, and her name's Becky Hill, and interfered with the jury during his 2023 trial. It was so severe and deliberate that it denied him a fair trial, they say. At a press conference yesterday, they were talking about this in the state attorney general, Alan Wilson, said Murdoch won't be released from prison. Alec Murdole will not be getting out of prison for several decades. It's currently my intention to seek. A speedy retrial. Wow. That's it there. So when they overturned the conviction like that, it doesn't mean he's free and he's going home to have dinner. Right. It means it's a do-over. It's a Mulligan. He was convicted three years ago after he shot his wife and a younger son at their hunting estate. You have to use the words allegedly. Well, apparently now it is allegedly. Back to allegedly again. That's right. And I've got to tell you, I've heard some bizarre explanations as to what really happened here. And as far as, you know, what really went down. I mean, from, you know, he didn't do it. The cartel did it. Somebody else was planted to do it. And he's taken the fall because he doesn't want his own life and his other son's life taken because if he squeals on who. He knows did it, then it's going to get ugly. I mean, just bizarre explanations on what's really going on in here. But he still maintains his innocent through all this. And his attorneys argue that the verdict that Hill had tampered with, this woman with the jury, is a reason to, you know, consider the whole case over again. So I guess they're going to have the whole case over again, start from scratch. Doesn't usually go.
The other way for most retrials. Well, for one thing, it's going to be real hard to find a jury who hasn't heard something about this in the state of South Carolina. Right. Well, the attorney general there, as you heard, Alan Wilson said his office is aggressively going to be looking to get this retrial going as soon as possible. Hi, Uncle Laser here.
